Mirelle was the most amazing photographer. Her sister Cheryl was a great videographer as well. They truly are the fantastic sister team. My family and wedding party appreciated their efficiency and professionalism as well. Everybody was truly impressed The photos and videos were all that I could have hoped for. Highly recommend! Having heard so many times that your wedding day happens in a blink, I knew finding a photographer that would provide long lasting memories for us was a top priority. After speaking with Mirelle over the phone and looking through her portfolio of timeless works of art I knew we had found the one! Her calm and kind demeanor made planning stress-free and she had so many fantastic recommendations for all things wedding. Due to Covid, our original wedding date turned into our engagement shoot. My partner and I are not very comfortable in front of a camera but Mirelle made us feel at ease and we were laughing so much that only did we walk away with beautiful photos but a memorable experience. Mirelle captures the candid precious moments and also has an eye for the details to make the pictures come out just right with a natural ethereal feel. Looking at our pictures and video I am transported back to our special day and have the opportunity to feel all of the emotions again. We are incredibly thankful for Mirelle and her team and hope to work with her again in the future!

I was referred to Mirelle for my wedding photography after seeing her work from my friend’s wedding a few years before. Mirelle captured our wedding in spectacular detail. She has an incredible eye and her photos are soft and colorful, you can feel the warmth. Mirelle did an amazing job on our wedding photos. She was so easy to work with and our photos are fantastic. My husband and I are from Texas and had our wedding in Pebble Beach, CA. I wanted to use a local photographer who was familiar with the area. We ended up using her for our entire weekend. Her overall vibe is very natural and effortless and I wanted to capture that - not feeling over "posed". She and her sister (who did the videography, also highly recommend!) captured every moment but were out of sight and completely discreet. My husband is not a huge fan of being photographed and even he was thrilled with Mirelle and her team! We also did a wedding book from her and it is beautiful. I could not recommend her enough - her work is beautiful!

I can't say enough about Mirelle Carmichael Photography! Mirelle was friendly, professional and so accomodating. She came early and stayed a bit after the event time! I had photos in my head of what I wanted and she did a perfect job and the turn around of getting the photos and was fantastic. Mirelle made the best day ever better and I love looking at both the photos!

I cannot express how incredible Mirelle was for us! Her photographs--both of our engagement and wedding--were OUT OF THIS WORLD BEAUTIFUL. I can't even comprehend how amazing her photography is. We hired Mirelle to do our engagement session and our wedding photos. My husband and I were both nervous about the engagement session, as we had never had professional photos done before! Mirelle has such a sweet and calming personality and made us feel instantly more relaxed in front of the camera. She directed all our poses, and we loved the way she edited all the engagement photos! I was so happy we booked an engagement session because we got to meet her and have a "practice run" before the wedding photos. On our wedding day she was on-time and captured all the photos from the list we had given her as well as many candids throughout the day. She even remembered which of the poses from our engagement session looked best and had us do more of those. She and her assistant were basically invisible during the wedding, too! It's one of my biggest pet peeves to have the photographers interrupting the ceremony and reception by being between the guests and the couple. I don't know how she did it, but our guests all said that she went unnoticed much of the time. We got our photos back in a timely fashion and are SO HAPPY with the result!! We can tell that each photo is edited, and absolutely love the shots on film. I can't recommend her enough for your engagement and wedding photos!

Mirelle and her team were such a pleasure to work with! I was so pleased with all of my wedding day photos. It was so hard to choose which photos I wanted to include in my wedding album because all of them came out so nice. I loved the details and subtle candid moments she captured. In addition, I had wanted get-ready photos with my bridesmaids at the hotel I was staying at - she came half an hour or so before the requested time! She had such a positive and energetic vibe throughout the day - this was a tremendous help for me especially when I thought I couldn't smile any longer by the 3rd hour. Mirelle is an outstanding photographer and lovely person to work with. I was thrilled that our date was available and she could travel from Southern California to Northern California to capture our wedding! She made everything easy in advance of the day with emails and a photo schedule. She arrived and got right to work capturing the little things that we had put time and effort into along with photos of everyone getting ready. She kept everyone calm and smiling as she captured pre-ceremony pictures. She was great with our friends and family getting all of the photos we wanted post-ceremony! To our surprise and pleasure, all of our photos were ready exactly a month after our wedding and they are wonderful (and there are LOTS of them)! If you look at her portfolio on her website and on Instagram, she captures people naturally and doesn't over-edit. People aren't too sharp and harsh nor are they washed out or lacking definition. I have been a fan of her work for years and really could not recommend her more! You will not regret hiring her to be your photographer, she is a talented professional.

As a bride, the things that mattered most to me were (1) quality of photos and creative approach of the photographer, (2) professionalism, and (3) my comfort level. (1) Quality of Photos and Creative Approach: When it came to wedding photos, I knew exactly how I wanted mine -- soft, romantic and artistic. Mirelle did exactly that and more. Every photo she gave me was perfect to frame. She was able to capture every important moment of our big day, as well as the little details and touches that I had painstakingly planned for the wedding (but that may have gone unnoticed by other photographers). (2) Professionalism: Mirelle's approach to servicing her clients is very professional and yet also genuinely warm and friendly. Her website and email correspondence provided all the information I needed to know -- most importantly, where I needed to be and when, and what I would be getting out of it (hours she would be shooting, album/canvas, how the photos would be delivered). Plus, her turnaround time of editing and delivering the photos was very impressive. (4) Comfort: Just as a preface, I am very camera shy and am not usually comfortable in front of the camera. Before booking Mirelle, my husband and I had an informational meeting with her. We hit it off immediately and I felt as though we were already friends. On the day of the wedding and for our engagement photo shoot, my usual discomfort in front of the camera subsided and I felt very comfortable. She was very encouraging and helped guide us through the day. Overall, I am extremely happy with my experience with Mirelle and would recommend her to anyone! She is so incredibly talented and you can expect nothing but amazing photos of your big day from her!

Mirelle is an amazing photographer. She did such an outstanding job with our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos. I am absolutely speechless with our photographs.
