f the person I'd like to thank from the bottum of my heart is Miriam, my makeup artist. She made me look flawless!! Her and I worked on my look from hair style to makeup in January. She did a trial for me and I loved it. I ended up taking my engagement pictures in my trial look and they came out gorgeous!! She also did an amazing job on my lash extensions. I felt really really beautiful, and I think every bride deserves to feel that way. She kept excellent notes and a face diagram of what we spoke about in January, and by the time my wedding rolled around in April, she was ready to rock! Everyone complimented me on how gorgeous my updo looked and what a beautiful bride I was. Not to mention, due to all the nerves and stress from pre-wedding tensions, I had a huge pimple on my chest where it was very visible in my strapless wedding gown. I kept hoping it would go away in time, but the mark didn't. I ran to Miriam and she made that disappear! She was so calm and cheerful, she really helped me keep calm hours before the ceremony, and she reminded me to enjoy every moment. I just wanted to take a moment to say how truly thankful I am.

e replacement you sent telling me that you refused to talk to me about my concerns after the wedding. I have proof that I paid you IN FULL two days before the wedding by paypal. SHAME ON YOU FOR LYING, this is the most digusting lack of professionalism I have ever seen, and I absolutely WELCOME anyone who has any questions to contact me directly. Run away from this horrible wedding vendor, do not trust her with your money. As per the comments below, Miriam has already tried to have my review deleted, but this and other wedding review websites saw the proof I provided and refused to delete them. Thank you to The Knot, Wedding Wire, and Wedding Channel for sticking up for brides!!! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I hired Miriam for my wedding hair and make-up. Miriam cancelled on me at 10pm the night before my wedding, two days after I paid her in full. She said she had injured her shoulder that morning - I don't know why she thought it would be acceptable to wait until very late that night to call me. She did not offer me a refund and instead selected a replacement without consulting me and implied that I had no choice in the matter, which was true since she waited until practically the middle of the night to call me. Her replacement was 2 hours late arriving the next day, cursed in front of my flower girls, and did an absolutely horrendous job on my hair and make-up. Because she was late I wasn't able to get any photos with my bridesmaids or stepmom while we were getting ready, and we were rushed to the ceremony, causing a lot of stress. She airbrushed my entire face two or three shades darker than my normal skin tone and stopped at my jaw line, making it look like I'm wearing a bad mask in my wedding photos. She used so much goopy hair spray in my hair that it was greasy, flat, and frizzy before I even got to the limo, but because she was so late there was nothing we could do to fix it. I asked if she had any powdered bronzer I could dust on my arms and instead she airbrushed a big brown spot on each of my upper arms (while I was in my wedding dress) without asking me, and I was so stressed at that point that I didn't say anything. I will have to get it retouched out of every photo. She then told me Miriam said I would pay her directly even though I had already paid Miriam in full two days before. After the wedding I emailed Miriam my concerns. She ignored my email, but the next day she blocked me from her facebook page to avoid contact from me. I emailed her three times that week asking to speak with her, and she finally had the replacement email me to tell me that she wasn't refunding any of the money and not to expect to hear from Miriam. She even lied and said she touched up my bridesmaids. Miriam is the most unprofessional wedding vendor I have ever met in South Florida. Miriam is very good at avoiding responsibility and very bad at customer service. If she had even had the decency to contact me herself and apologize, or even if she apologized now instead of contesting every bad review I leave for her, I wouldn't be writing this. Hire her at your own risk.

It was a pleasure working with her, she is very professional but so nice! she made me laugh and forget about being nervous about my own wedding. At the end the results were amazing, my make up and hair couldn't had looked better.

ve made in my planning! Miriam was a delight to work with - she knew how to make my features really pop, my skin looked like out of a magazine, natural - but vibrant! I know how to do my own makeup...but the Airbrushing/Makeup techniques she used on my entire visible facial area, decollete and shoulders were a leap beyond my own skill...I highly recommend getting the initial consultation so Miriam can figure out what you really want...it was during our consultation that she and I realized I needed faux lashes to finish and define my eyes to another level... Thanks Miriam for giving me a day where I looked absolutely bright and flawless and turning my maid of honor into a goddess!

and was prompt and very adaptable. I would recommend Miriam to any bride looking for a one stop person for all of your hair/make-up needs. She had beautiful make-up as well as airbrush Mac products. She also put full eye lashes on me which were beautiful!! I would definitely suggest Miriam to any bride looking for an easy comfortable make-up and hair stylist! Jennifer Turner
