I am incredibly grateful that I chose Miriam Events Co. to plan my wedding. Lydia, our planner, is the sweetest and really attentive to every detail! Working with her helped ease m...
y stress significantly. She is knowledgeable about vendors, wedding planning, design, and how to pace each step of the process effectively.
During our monthly meetings, Lydia consistently demonstrated that she was trustworthy and reliable, allowing Geron and me to fully enjoy our wedding day without worrying about the logistics. If there's one piece of advice I can give to future brides, it is to hire a wedding planner if you can! Wedding planning involves many steps, but having a knowledgeable planner can transform the experience.
Lydia also allowed space for collaboration, which made it feel like our vision was coming to life (I'm also an artist, and she was very perceptive about my design preferences). All the vendors she recommended were exceptional professionals and formed a dream team. Everything about our wedding went smoothly and without a hitch. We even received feedback from some guests that our wedding was the best they had ever attended, and that is all thanks to Lydia!
Thank you so much, Lydia & Miriam Events Co. <3
You are making a mistake if you do not hire Lydia as your wedding planner. Lydia guided my wife and I through the pre-wedding process and wedding day (Madison - May 2025). An amazi...
ng feat for two indecisive people. Her substantial industry knowledge was evident as she had previous experience with all of our vendors. Lydia is there for you every step of the way. Her calming presence made us feel at ease throughout, including when an issue popped up at our ceremony venue two weeks before our wedding, which she handled and resolved professionally. By the time our wedding day arrived, Lydia was more of a friend to us than a planner. We cannot recommend Miriam Events and Lydia enough!
Lydia was amazing to work with! She was timely with her responses, she did a great job communicating with the vendors, and she did a great job making sure that the ceremony went as...
planned. I know she is just getting started on her own, but it did not feel that way- she's only going to get busier and busier as her company takes off!
Lydia is not only an amazing wedding planner but she's also a really chill person, which makes the whole experience of having a wedding very relaxed in a world in which that seems ...
impossible! I cannot recommend her enough. She gave my husband and I the wedding of our dreams. It was a truly perfect day, absolutely nothing went wrong, and it couldn't have been possible without her throughout the whole experience.
I have had the opportunity to work with Lydia as a fellow vendor for a number of years now, and feel very fortunate to know her! Not only is Lydia absolutely delightful, she is ama...
zingly organized, varied detail oriented, can adjust to any quick changing situations that occur, and I have never seen her without a smile on her face.
If you are looking for a planner for your event, you will not go wrong with choosing Miriam Events Co!
Lydia led our wedding and did a fantastic job. Attentive, creative, and organized. Would absolutely recommend.

re was a problem or a hiccup I never noticed; she always had a handle on making sure the next part of the day was executed and went smoothly. She’s so very kind, all my family and friends who interacted with her adored her. I’m so thankful I had Lydia to help me execute the wedding of my dreams. Everything was perfect.
Lydia is amazing! She brought organization to a day that felt chaotic to me. She provided a concrete timeline and expertly assured we stuck to it without me even noticing that she ...
was ushering things along. She made sure ourselves, our families, our wedding party, and our vendors had everything we all needed throughout the day. Our family and friends absolutely loved Lydia. She was there to calm down our parents when they were feeling stressed. She is attentive and actively listens to what you are saying so she can best serve you.
The day ran smoothly, and if there were any hiccups, we don't know of them due to Lydia's dedication to ensuring a memorable and loving event for the people she is helping. Her empathy and creativity shined for us and we could not be more grateful to have had Lydia by our side through the process. We were able to relax and enjoy our day and I am certain it is because of all the work and attention to detail that Lydia put forth.

rom those vendors when we had trouble getting ahold of them. She went above and beyond to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible, and put in a great deal of hands-on effort - more than we might have expected from a planner. Everything went off without a hitch (and if anything didn’t, we sure weren’t aware because Lydia had it handled!)
