Mirror, Mirror... Beauty By Berit

y and then a surprise wedding. She did my makeup for the engagement party and stayed throughout the engagement party to transform my makeup from red dress fancy into bridal makeup. She also did my bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law and sister's make-up! Proof is in the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UtiOB4MHIw I would definitely recommend her! Mrs. Plubell

g party love their makeup. In my case, she even plucked some of the groomsmens eye brows and powdered their noses. I could not have been happier with Berit and I hope to work with her again in the future.

maids look phenomenal and cohesive so that they were similar and unique in their own way. I felt gorgeous and all our makeup lasted the WHOLE time! She even made a kit for me to do touchups but it wasn't necessary. She did 8 women the day of my wedding by herself and on time. I was able to cover the cost myself and i would say that her price is fair. I would HIGHLY recommend her!!!

t was absolutely fine because she listens to what you want and she is so talented. She made my bridesmaids look fantastic as well. And she was so nice and made me comfortable through the process. If I ever have a time when I need my makeup done, I will be trying to book her again.

en to all of your needs and ideas that you envision for your big day. She will also offer suggestions that you may have overseen due to all the details that come with wedding planning. Knowing that I had Berit for the entire day left me at ease leading up to the wedding and of course the day of. She is professional and punctual. I could not recommend enough or be more happy that I had Berit as my MUA. She will not disappoint and will be one of your easier vendors to work with.

each individual look so natural, so beautiful and perfect for photography. She is definitely the go to artist in Orange County, Ca.

res post-ceremony and before the reception. My face is full of freckles and she did an amazing job with her airbrushing to make me look myself, while still giving me a flawless look for my photos. For me, I was most impressed with her and her assistant's time management. With 9 bridesmaids, mother of the bride and mother of the groom, and myself I was nervous about completing everyone's looks in a timely manner. She create the perfect schedule and stuck to it the day of. We were able to stay on track and I never had to worry about running behind.

tion, etc. We went through every detail of my wedding day makeup together and she took notes of & saved everything I provided her with including photos. She did the exact same for my mother. She is extremely professional and such a wonderful person to work with. On the day of my wedding she was kind, understanding, calm, timely and efficient. She was with me for every moment of the day, making sure I looked picture perfect when I walked down the aisle. When there was a hiccup in the schedule, Berit was there to MAKE SURE I had my hair & makeup touch up AND to do my bustle. She went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly around me even when it wasn't her responsibility. She truly was an amazing person to have be apart of my special day, and any bride would be lucky to have her. She made me feel absolutely gorgeous & a better version of myself.

ut exactly how I wanted it to be. We got our pictures back from the photographer and my makeup looks nearly perfect in every one of them. I did the all-day package and it was great! Berit is incredibly easy going, accommodating, efficient and extremely talented. She helped keep us on schedule and made us look beautiful!

.

so Berit brought an assistant. Everyone looked fabulous. Berit's personality is calm and upbeat and her attention to detail is superb. We were very pleased and her skill really showed up in the pictures! I will use her again. As the bride's mother I truly felt confident. She brought out our natural beauty.

s the only person I would even consider. I decided to go with the 'All Day Package' which worked out perfectly. The package included a trial at Berit's studio where she spent almost 4 hours with me and my Mom. On my wedding day she did mine, my 5 bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother's makeup. Everyone felt and looked stunning. The 'All Day Package' also included touch-ups for the groom, touch-ups after photos (before the ceremony) and also a look change for the reception. It was so nice having Berit with me and my bridesmaids for the entire day. She is detail oriented, extremely professional and so sweet. I couldn't speak any more highly of her and would definitely recommend her to all future brides.

y makeup for our big day. She was on time, incredibly flexible, versatile (in styles/personalities) and was always ready and anticipating when I'd need a touch up. She did myself, my bridesmaids and the mothers of the bride and groom. Everyone was very happy with their makeup. I would highly recommend using Berit for your wedding for flawless, worry-free makeup!

didn't know what I wanted. She knew just how much coverage I needed. She really gets to know you and your wedding which helps her understand your vision maybe even before you know your vision yourself! She was extremely organized and on the day of the wedding when the hotel we were getting ready at screwed up and threw us off schedule and made us all extremely stressed out she kept her cool and got us back on track. I'd absolutely use her again and recommend her to all my friends.

ugh the whole process. She was very flexible with all of our needs. She did the makeup for my brides maids and i. Everyone was very happy with the results and looked beautiful. She also did my hair which turned out gorgeous! She even made me a touch up kit that kept my looking good through it all. Very professional and reasonably priced. I highly recommend her. Thank you Berit. Elsa from Maui

ded all of my expectations. I did a lot of research on makeup vendors, and I am so happy I found Berit. She is incredibly talented at what she does, and is also very professional. In addition, she is such a kind person and such a pleasure to be around. I am so thankful that she was part of my wedding day! She helped me stay calm and relaxed while also making me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt. If you are looking for the best, then look no further!

I would definitely recommend her.

ging from girls who are all glam, to girls who never wear makeup, to a mother who is very opinionated. Everyone, I mean everyone especially my mother was highly impressed and excited with their makeup. Berit's talents and expertise took 10 years off my mother's face. My mother is already planning on booking Berit for her 60th birthday. Berit is well organized very responsive to emails phone calls you name it. Not only that but she was a pleasure to work with. She had this amazing energy and honestly cares about you feeling and looking amazing. Berit was the best wedding investment I made! I hope you have the opportunity to work with Berit and experience for yourself what an amazing and talented artist she truly is!

her brides look natural and flawless. I recommend her for weddings and any occasion you need to be stunning!!! The best

She did my makeup exactly as I wanted and envisioned for our wedding day. Berit is easy to communicate with, she is uber organized and she made me feel relaxed the entire time. I had a makeup trial with her a month before our wedding date and it was so fun to see what she was able to do and how she made me look beautiful! Not all vendors are as organized and creative, yet Berit is the whole package and more! Highly recommend her and have referred her to my own friends!

a trial but Berit took plenty of time with me and my makeup-phobic mum on the afternoon of my wedding to create the really natural polished look that I hoped for. She arrived on time with everything she could possibly need. She was lovely to talk to as she worked and listened to our ideas and tweaked the looks as we went along to get them perfect. I'm really pleased I chose Berit to do our hair and makeup on my wedding day and would definitely recommend her. Thank you Berit!

ll of the bridesmaids, and the bride, were so thrilled with their look and I thought everyone looked absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend Berit for your wedding!

g! She's friendly, and professional. She works with you to give you what you want while making sure it fits your face. She enhances your natural beauty. My big day Oct 19th 2012 at the Disneyland Hotel went off without a hitch and I can't imagine my day without her! Book her, you won't be disappointed.

anning process would start for myself. I found Berit through another bride who had her as well as my sister's make-up done by Berit - I thought they both looked so beautiful so I had to find out who she was! When I first emailed her, I wasn't sure at all about how to go about looking at different make-up vendors, but Berit was very intentional and polite about contacting me to see if I need any help with deciding on a make-up artist (or ANY other wedding plans for that matter!). Throughout the months leading up to the wedding, she contacted me asking if I needed hep with vendors, scheduling the day, or anything else - she was so genuinely helpful, kind, and professional. And not to mention talented - she did all of my bridesmaids, my mothers, as well as my cousins' make-up with the help of an assistant and everyone looked AMAZING! My bridesmaids later thanked me too because they said they felt so beautiful on the day of the wedding, which was my aim for a make-up artist - to find somebody who would help the morning of my wedding be relaxing and fun as well as make my bridal party and I feel incredible. Berit did just that and so much more by being a sort of 'beauty assistant' for all of our pictures and changing my look for the reception as well. I couldn't have felt more well taken care of on the best day of my life!! :)

e and lasted throughout my entire reception - it was flawless. Berit knew how to accentuate my features and made me feel so gorgeous on my big day. Not only does she do a wonderful job with makeup, but she also made my day stress free. She created a timeline for getting ready and everything went so smoothly. She is lovely to work with - very sweet and supportive. Berit goes above and beyond for her clients. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

6am start on a weekday! My makeup was perfect and not too much. I do not wear makeup daily so it was not a dramatic change and just the right amount. I would definitely recommend Berit for hair and makeup.

y accommodating to my very tight on time wedding schedule. I loved being able to have a makeup trial and a hair trial. It gave me a chance to figure out what I actually wanted on my wedding day. Berit is very professional. She kept notes and pictures from both the trials and that really helped everything run smoothly. I cannot thank her enough for making my wedding day stress free.

lt at ease from the moment we spoke. I met with her for a consultation and trial on hair and makeup ~ she knocked it out of the park so I booked her and looked forward to looking my best on my wedding day. I have been getting botox and juvederm semi-annually for years and have never had any adverse reactions but, four days before my wedding, I went in for a touch up and bruised pretty badly around my right eye and above my top lip on each corner. I was devistated and contacted Berit to inform her how my face had reacted. She assured me all was well and not to worry. I was worried, so worried, I made myself sick. But, my wedding day came and when all was said and done you could not tell I had any brusing at all. My fiance, upon seeing me walk down the isle with the smile on my face was so surprised, when I got up to stand by his side, he leaned in and said, with tears in his eyes "You are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen". My family could not believe their eyes and my guests were none the wiser. Berit has no idea how she transformed me on my wedding day and I could never thank her enough. I would highly recommend Berit for any occasion for both hair and makeup.

akeup on the big day, and she did a great job on my bridesmaids as well. She also referred me to a great hairstylist! I bought the full day package which was a bit expensive but totally worth it! Berit gave me an awesome second look for my reception and was really helpful all day--she even ran back to our hotel room to bring something my husband forgot! Most importantly, Berit is extremely professional and reliable, which in my experience was a somewhat rare quality among wedding vendors. She's the best!

ore. Berit's make-up application was spot-on, and was just enough to pop in pictures, but she agreed to less than she normally would so that I felt comfortable as well. She also did the make-up for 7 bridesmaids, 3 of which were between 5 and 12. Everyone looked gorgeous, the older ones looked glamorous and impeccable and the younger ones looked soft, age-appropriate, and so so beautiful. I would recommend Berit to anyone, she was not only fantastic for how we all looked, but I enjoyed the time spent with her and I'm glad we chose her to be a part of this amazing day. I should add too, that one of my best friends used her for this wedding, and I chose to use her as well because even after 12 hours of wedding craziness, her subjects still looked fresh as daisies.

nce she answered all questions and provided very helpful information and suggestions I would have never considered, or thought to ask. She is a consummate professional, and she is truly an artist who is passionate about her work. She listened to what I wanted while also applying her own expertise. She even made very helpful suggestions for my skincare regime. She showed up on time the day of my wedding and was so organized and prepared. Everyone was blown away! Having her for the entire day was something I did not realize the full value of until I had her, and she is the only one who offered that service up front. She has such a great attitude and everything she did for me that day was so valuable. I know I would have not had that level of quality with anoyone else. I could not be happier with Berit's work and I hope to use her again sometime in the future! I will recommend her to anyone and everyone. I am so happy I found her!

eas what I wanted...turned out great. I had many compliments from everyone for my pictures. I barely needed retouch for my make up, it stayed very well until the very end of the day. thank you Berit!!!

y wedding on June 1st, 2013. She was a must have, no questions asked!!! Thank you BERIT!!!

desmaids and all of them were really happy with the result. Berit is very easy and pleasant to work with, you trust her since the moment you meet her. Highly recommend !!Was Very very happy !

hroughout the year and put together the morning schedule for 8 women. We were under a short time frame come wedding day and Berit delivered flawlessly. Everyone looked amazing and I felt like the beautiful bride I have always dreamed of being. Highly recommend the all day package. Thank you for everything Berit!

my wedding day thanks to her work!! Berit is professional and so sweet. I'm thrilled that I found her!

and next thing I knew Berit was doing my wedding makeup as well! I couldn't have been more pleased with the results which lasted beyond the final snapshots of the wedding. I got more compliments than I could count about my makeup and the photos turned out even better! She is great at interpreting what your desired look is, and implementing in a way that looks very natural and fresh. Berit is extremely talented, but beyond the makeup, she is a true professional. Leading up to my wedding she helped me develop a plan to keep my wedding day on schedule and worked behind the scenes with my coordinator and photographer to keep everything running smoothly the morning of the wedding (which is a lot more difficult than you would expect!). My bridesmaids and my mother got their makeup done for the wedding as well and had all the best things to say about her work and her kind spirit. In short, she's absolutely fantastic and you will feel like the most beautiful bride on your wedding day if you choose Berit!

n New York, but had our reception in California, so I wasn't able to have a trial. It was no problem at all, Berit came completely prepared and made us (myself, my mother and sister) look our flawless best. She was extremely professional - incredibly organized, prompt with emails, on time, and went the extra mile to squeeze us in on a day when she already had morning bookings. Since we were out of towners, Berit also helped us find a fabulous local photographer! When I finally met her on the day, she was so pleasant to chat with as well. Berit undoubtedly contributed to making the day smooth and worry free!

point.

ong, people specifically commented on how good my makeup looked, and given her "tricks" -- people were convinced that I had put blue contacts in my eyes (I hadn't). Berit made me look and feel so "stunning" -- I can't recommend her more highly.

e was also willing to work through two hair trials with me until I got the perfect look. Berit was professional, FUN, and RELAXED on my big day and I really appreciated that. She made me feel like a million bucks. Thank you, Berit!

it lasted all day with no touch-ups whatsoever. Berit made the whole process from start to finish seem so effortless; which was really invaluable to me. She is the consummate professional: friendly and prompt in communications, skillful and knowledgeable in her craft, organized yet flexible, and an overall pleasure to work with. She never pushes you to make a decision that's not "you" and if you only have a general idea of what you want, she is able to use her knowledge and apply it to you personally to ensure that you are happy with the final outcome. I would recommend Berit to others without reservations and will definitely utilize her again in the future. Thank you!
