Like many couples in 2020, my now husband and I’s original plans for a large wedding were canceled. Our lovely wedding venue unfortunately was heavily impacted by the pandemic earl...y on in the year like so many other businesses, which caused them to make the painful decision to shut down. Then as everyone is aware, more restrictions occurred to keep everyone safe. We knew that we would not have that original wedding in 2020 and we understood. With everything going on though, we still wanted to call each other husband and wife. We decided to have a very small wedding, just us and our immediate family on my husband’s farm (with Mary, we had less than 10 people). Through all these changes, Mary was incredibly understanding and responded quickly to all questions we had. Our wedding date had changed, our wedding venue had changed, and Mary said yes to it all! She traveled several hours to a farm in the middle of nowhere, dealt with sitting on the back of a pickup truck like a champ to travel to where we had decided to get married, and hiked all over a 93 acre farm to get the best pictures. In addition to dealing with 4 rambunctious old puppers, 2 donkeys (1 mini and 1 regular), chickens, and of course our very loud, very energetic family! Even with keeping a safe distance and wearing a mask, she was able to get us all together for truly wonderful pictures. Honestly, we received such AMAZING photos! Since so many of our loved ones weren’t able to be there, we were able to show them these photographs and we have received so many compliments. Mary did both our engagement and wedding photos and they are truly the best photos we have ever gotten! Especially since we are awkward in front of a camera! Mary made us feel relaxed and have fun, we couldn’t recommend her more, honestly! Have I used enough exclamation points to get my point across yet?
