DO NOT BOOK WITH MIRWOOD!!!!! HORRIBLE experience. Mirwood was the only and worst vendor at my wedding. A complete waste of money. Where do I even start. First off they do nothing ...
to help the month before you’re basically paying for one phone call (about $1000 wasted.) When I asked for a second phone call it was very hard to arrange(even though 2 phone calls are included with the month before package) and the woman on the phone was clearly walking on a treadmill/walking pad and constantly was getting interrupted by people in her home the entire conversation. They try to market the month of package being better than just the day of but they did nothing for me the month before except 2 very short chaotic phone conversations. A couple of those responsibilities that they did not complete: they never made sure other vendors were paid that was something I did nor did they answer my emails promptly. The event coordinator who was supposed to be there the day of (who I never got a chance to talk to on the phone because she was always busy) was changed last minute. The document with the layout of decor, seating chart, etc was NOT referred to correctly because the welcome table and other tables were not where they were supposed to be. I had to fix them myself with the groomsmen’s. I was told the event coordinator would be in charge of getting the rings and marriage license to the officiant which did not happen. My mom had to run around and make sure that happened which took away from her experience. Also, I was told the boutonnières would be passed out by the event coordinator which they were not so my dad, father in law and all groomsmen’s went without their boutonniere. The bride should not have to worry about any of these details on the wedding day. I paid extra because Mirwood recommended I get a second coordinator to help set up decor and most of it was done incorrectly. I was a relaxed bride and didn’t let it ruin my day but Mirwood is unorganized, unprofessional, and lazy. I emailed them immediately after my wedding voicing my concerns and disappointment. They said there was nothing they could do because I had already paid in full (which of course I did because you have to with all vendors) and that’s about it. Truly a horrific company and experience. I have no idea how they have any good reviews and it was a waste of $1300 plus. If you want to have a stress free wedding day with a competent and helpful coordinator DO NOT BOOK WOTH MIRWOOD.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to the incredible Mirwood Team! The entire experience was fantastic, and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning an event. Ol...
ivia and Leslee were our dedicated coordinators, and they are nothing short of amazing. We were so impressed by their proactive communication, ensuring we were always informed and confident. They didn't just manage the timeline; they flawlessly executed my vision exactly as planned. Because of their hard work and professionalism, we were able to fully relax and enjoy every moment of our wedding day. They truly are rockstars, and we are eternally grateful for their exceptional service!
The owner did contact me and tried to make up for the issues.
Horrible. My family worked harder than the coordinator. Argues with the guests

n she was trying to go outside. Was no where to be found when we the ceremony was over to move the flowers inside.
Started taking things off the tables when there was still guests there at 9:00, we scheduled clean up was from 10-11. Argued with me when I told her the coffee cart needed to be in the main area and then interrupted the bride and grooms private dinner and told them I wanted her to ask about the coffee cart. I definitely did not tell her to ask the bride, I’m the brides mother if I wanted the bride to be asked I would have done so.
Tried to change things the bride asked for. Every little thing was an argument. We were supposed to have two people, one came late and left early. Argued with me about the corsages, they were pin ones and argued that they were supposed to go on the wrist.
They let people in the reception before the ceremony even began. When I told her they needed to be out she did nothing. Other issues as well, but I’ll let the bride and groom review those.
We had the privilege of having Hannah be our month of coordinator and could not have asked for a better experience! Hannah was incredible at managing all the intricacies that plann...
ing for our wedding required prior to the day, from the timeline as well as the site visit prior to the wedding. On the day of the wedding, we could not have pulled off the wedding without Hannah. Hannah managed having all of the vendors come and go without any issues, she also perfectly executed our idea for how to set up all of the decor and we were able to trust her with making judgement calls on her own regarding last minute questions. Hannah was a source of calmness during some moments of chaos on the wedding day and for that we could not thank her enough. Without a doubt, Mirwood Events and Hannah was our best choice when it came to selecting a coordinator.
There was lots of conversations leading up to the wedding and I appreciated that. Lots of check-ins and going over the timeline together. Unfortunately, the day of felt very messy....
I do believe my planner was a bit all over the place because of the problems that some of our other vendors were causing, but a lot of things were left to me, my mom, or my mother in law to figure out the morning of. We were promised charcuterie and sandwiches for the bridal party and after hours went by and people were hungry, I had to remind my planner. She showed back up with what I am guessing was a publix charcuterie board and not enough sandwiches. It was a little funny to be honest. They also did not provide the correct amount of sandwiches, so my husband didn't even get to eat. This was dissapointing as well as other issues throughout the day - but again, I know she was dealing with other things.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience! From the very first consultation, Madison, the owner, and her incredible team made us feel like our wedding was their top ...
priority. Madison’s hands-on approach was truly remarkable; she was there every step of the way, ensuring that every detail was perfect.
What impressed us the most was how attentive and organized they were. They took the time to understand our vision and worked tirelessly to bring it to life. No question was too small, and no request was too much trouble. Even with an unplanned venue change, Madison was ready with options! The day of our wedding, everything went off without a hitch, and I can honestly say it was the most magical day of our lives!
If you're looking for a wedding planning business that truly cares and goes above and beyond, look no further. I cannot recommend Madison and her team enough! Thank you for making our dream wedding a reality!
I cannot recommend MirWood Events enough if you are getting married. If you are getting married, you definitely need at least a day-of coordinator and if you are looking for someon...
e, MirWood is the place! We worked with Megan, and she was a god send. She handled everything from getting the space set up, to extra guests, to a late caterer, and even a water pipe bursting. I didn't know about any of it until after the fact. She handled it all and I got to enjoy my wedding stress free. I don't know if I would be married without her haha
Whatever you do, do not hire Mirwood Events for your wedding planning. I’m sharing this because our experience with their month-of coordination was beyond disappointing. Our coordi...
nator, Megan, missed the mark in so many ways, failing to deliver on key promises laid out in our contract, like managing the wedding day itinerary and handling decor setup and cleanup. She showed up late, an hour after things had already kicked off, and didn’t bother greeting or helping our hair and makeup vendors. There’s no mention anywhere in the contract or on their site about service hour limitations, yet her involvement was minimal and, honestly, unhelpful. She never even introduced herself, so half the time we didn’t know where she was. From noon until our ceremony at 5pm, she was basically MIA. She didn’t assist in the bridal room, keep things on schedule, or help with our family photos as requested, resulting in us missing two important shots we’ll never get back. When I needed my phone for the photo list, she was nowhere to be found, and she didn’t once check in to see if we needed anything. Her decor setup was half-hearted, with basic things like reserved seating left unaddressed. The worst part was at the end of the night when she handed us a trash bag and told us to clean up- not what we expected or paid for. We had to pack up our own items and even clean trash from the bridal suite bathroom, despite being promised that everything would be taken care of, including locking our packed car with the key inside. In short, Megan didn’t provide the support we needed, and the disorganization added stress to a day that should have been joyful. I can’t recommend Mirwood Events based on this experience. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra using a different company so you can have the day you dreamed of.
I didn't realize how fabulous having a month-of coordinator would be until we met Madison.

ing a wedding would be a cinch. As it turns out, it's very hard to enjoy your wedding if you're responsible for wrangling guests, vendors, decorating, etc. So early on, we decided to hire a month-of wedding coordinator to help us out.
She was a force of nature from the moment she arrived. She helped us plan aspects that we had even forgotten, got us organized, and scheduled everything to a tee.
She ran our rehearsal like a champ which allowed us to actually focus and enjoy it. That day and the next morning she was rushing around decorating and getting everything set up so that my husband and I could just relax with our friends and get ready for the day. She didn't forget a single detail, and again thought of things we didn't even think of. She did so much to take care of us that we didn't even have to ask for, and did it all without being a door mat or rude to any of our guests/vendors. She even caught our bartender trying to take home our leftover beer and wine, retrieved it from them and loaded it up for us without even telling us.
We kept hearing from guests later on about things she did to help and how great she was with the kids present at our wedding. We were just so impressed and grateful. We highly recommend Mirwood as a company and Madison as a coordinator. I would prioritize hiring a day-of or month-of coordinator above many things in a wedding budget after our experience. Do yourself a favor and hire Mirwood.

he braved weather and kept my receptions as long as the weather would allow. When we had to end early she was so helpful in getting everything taken care of, organized, and sent with the right people. She ensured every guest and vendor made it out safety despite the snow storm. Madison is worth her weight in gold! I can’t recommend Mirwood enough.

a question she always came to me about it which I loved!
We hired Mirwood Events as our month-of coordinators, and I’d highly recommend them. We worked with Madison to create our day-of schedule, and she was prompt, easy to contact, and ...
had great professional suggestions for how to organize the day to go as smoothly as possible. She also reached out to all our vendors 2 weeks in advance to confirm the details with them. Our coordinator on the day was Meagan, and she did a fantastic job!! She took my general preferences on table settings, plus the available décor at the venue and the few things I bought, and ran with it on her own to set up the venue perfectly. I absolutely loved the result. She was also completely on top of everything during the day and immediately jumped on any small fires that popped up. Finally, she went above and beyond and let us ship our rented florals to her house, so that we didn’t have to deal with that set up or tear down AT ALL. Overall we felt super well taken care of and the day went seamlessly. Highly recommend working with Mirwood!

d definitely ask for Riley! My family thought she was such a bad ass the way she coordinated everything. From the rehearsal to the day of she was absolutely AMAZING! I was the bride and she was always accommodating to requests I had and always came to me for clarification because she really cared that I had the best day ever. If there were any issues that happened I didn't know about them. She did amazing at touching up, organizing and directing everything that needed to happen. She even sat down and had a conversation with me just about normal day life things. Also there prices for what they provide and do are so much more affordable than any other coordinator we looked at. Book with them you will not regret it!

hem, and I gave all the credit to Madison because I wouldn't have been able to accomplish that without her.
Anna was our day-of-coordinator and she is truly amazing. She is so high speed and on top of everything. All my girls and my mom could not stop talking about how much of a life savor she was. We had a few issues with other vendors not arriving on time and completing their work (mind you this is on a Sunday so it made it harder to communicate with the correct people), but she was able to get it done and everything was perfect just in time for the wedding. She took control and helped my mother tremendously with decorations to where she sent the bridesmaids back to the suite to relax. Aside from the morning of issues, the actual wedding and reception went PERFECT.
Thank you Madison and Anna so much! I will forever recommend MirWood Events. They are also military friendly which was a huge plus!!!

bly well organized. When the wedding day came we didn't have to worry about a thing because Madison handled everything perfectly, from coordination of our vendors to assistance with decor to being present to answer any questions that arose. I would give 6 out of 5 stars if I could, as she went above and beyond and made our wedding day go off without any hitches. Highest of recommendations.
