Kristen found her passion for baking as she grew up in her family's bakery shop. Since then she has attended and graduated from The Chefs Academy, with a degree in Pastry Arts. Kristen channels her talents into making meaningful creations for unforgettable occasions. Each and every wedding is unique and she believes that every dessert table should reflect that.
Miss May Designs arranges consultations and tastings with couples to create the perfect cake. The baker always uses the freshest ingredients available and can accommodate a multitude of flavors. From there, Kristen will craft a baking package that fits each client's needs and desires and will also provide full delivery and setup. In addition to the all-important cake, other delectable desserts and cupcakes can be provided to enhance the dessert display and wow guests.

en care of and not to worry. We could have easily found someone else to cover with roughly 6 months before our big day. Instead, we put our trust in her. Follow up about 60 days prior to the wedding left us with no return texts, calls, or emails. This so-called business owner didn't have the decency or professionalism to even respond and let us know she wouldn't be helping us. We had to scramble and find 3 different companies to cover our desserts with less than 2 weeks before the wedding. Would never recommend trusting her with a special occasion.

and was exactly how we pictured it, if not better, and tasted incredible. We provided the edible leaves and cake topper, and Kristen added them to make a gorgeous cake. Our other cake vendor fell through a couple months prior to the wedding, so we were grateful that Miss May Designs was able to help us achieve our dream wedding cake on such late notice. She was delightful to speak with and very helpful when we met with her. Our only criticism is that communication was somewhat lacking. We couldn’t connect to her through the phone number listed on Google – the calls never went through. Once we had signed a contract, she provided us with her personal phone number, and we texted to coordinate a time to drop off our topper and leaves. On the week of the wedding, we texted that same number to confirm the delivery time, since e-mail responses were often delayed, and didn’t receive a response. We assumed she would be there at the agreed time, and she was, but the lack of communication added some unnecessary stress to the day. Overall, however, we would recommend Miss May Designs. Her cakes are very well-designed and delicious, and she did deliver the cake right on time – if we were leaving this review just on the cake alone, it would be five stars for sure!
