My wedding photos are a priceless memory of one of the most wonderful days of my life, and it's because Vanessa is amazing at what she does. I've only gotten the sneak peek photos so far but my husband and I cannot stop looking at them and we are so thrilled by them. I have a very hard time making important decisions, like who should photograph my wedding, but once I came across Miss Meow and her works, I knew that was the right photographer for us. I am not super comfortable in front of the camera or really wanted those "typical" wedding shots. Vanessa was so easy to talk to about what my husband and I were looking for and comfortable with, and she made amazing photos happen. Even in the midst of lots of moving pieces and parts wedding day, Vanessa was calm and easy to work with. I felt she was very go with the flow but she also knew what she needed to get done and helped to "herd the cats" sometimes. I also appreciated her efficiency with the formal photos so we didn't have to spend extra party time taking lots of formal pics. I would highly recommend Vanessa and her awesome team!

If you are looking for an amazing, talented photographer, LOOK NO FURTHER. My husband and I were absolutely not excited about taking pictures. Normally, we both feel extremely awkward in front of the camera. But, when we were with Vanessa, all of that awkwardness melted away. She knew just how to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera, which resulted in beautiful engagement and wedding pictures. All of the people involved in the wedding love our wedding pictures. Vanessa and her husband were the MOST AMAZING photographers that a bride and groom could EVER ask for!!! My husband and I are both relatively shy and definitely not comfortable in front of the camera. From the first meeting we had with Vanessa we immediately knew she was the perfect fit for us because of how comfortable she made us feel. She is highly responsive and understood the vision we wanted for our big day so clearly. We nailed all of the professional photos easily and they are stunning, but my favorite shots that she captured are the ones of us and our families just doing our thing. There are some sets of shots where you can fluidly see everyone moving through their goobiness and joy as if it were on video and it brings tears to my eyes as we did not have a videographer! I can't put into words just how much we appreciate Vanessa and her work. Her photos are unique and beautiful and she is beyond easy to work with. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera that by the end of the photoshoot we felt like we had made a new friend. We especially appreciate how inclusive she is for gender and sexual minority couples. She has a way of capturing small, intimate moments on camera, and those are some of our favorite photos to receive. We were so pleased with her photos that she has now become our official family photographer! We book her for all things big and small, and I would highly recommend her to anyone. I wish I could give Vanessa a million stars. Maybe a whole galaxy. When I was looking for photographers her photos stood out to me immediately because they had such a warm, natural, happy feeling just exuding from my computer screen. I knew I had to have her. Unfortunately our wedding was planned for 4/10/20 so we had to completely change our original plan but Vanessa was so understanding and still agreed to be our photographer while following social distancing guidelines :) She is incredibly personable and lovable and just a joy to have around on your special day. Do yourself a favor and get her before she’s booked on your day!!

Having Vanessa as our wedding photographer was hands down one of the best decisions we made! My experience with Vanessa as our wedding photographer was absolutely terrific! Vanessa genuinely cares about creating beautiful memories of your wedding and I feel fortunate to have engaged her as our photographer. She is a attentive, skillful professional who knows how to set you at ease throughout the entire wedding photography process. In addition, she's a talented makeup artist and stylist and was able to do the hair and makeup for myself, daughter, and mother. She was literally a part of our family that weekend! We all felt beautiful and she was able to touch me up during the day. She was able to work within our budget and had a can do attitude when planning all the shots and settings in our wedding . She is able to navigate the chaos of a wedding and see that you get all the shots you want and more. Our wedding was approximately 55 people. Both families love the wedding photographs and we couldn't be happier.

Vanessa is AMAZING! She is truly, super talented and just great at what she does! I have only seen my sneak peek photos, which is totally normal--my wedding was on saturday, and was floored with how great they came out. She was very patient with us as it felt like 200 degrees and I was a nervous wreck that whole day! She kept me on schedule, she was always near me during the wedding to make sure she caught pictures that I was requesting. She was also very flexible with ideas, scheduling and even getting a second shooter like 2 days before the wedding! I would recommend her over and over again! When I was searching online for a photographer to take my engagement photos, Vanessa's photos stood out to me immediately. The couples in her photos seemed so natural, their happiness genuine, and their unique personalities accentuated. I could tell from looking at her photos that Vanessa had a gift for capturing the true beauty of moments and relationships. I was beyond excited when she agreed to take me and my fiance's engagement photos despite several complications on our end. In fact, Vanessa went above and beyond to ensure that my fiance and I got what we wanted out of our session with her. Leading up to our photo session, Vanessa kept in regular contact with me. As someone who worries about everything, her quick and dependable responses to questions and concerns was much appreciated. Not only was she professional with her communication, but she expressed genuine excitement about meeting and working with us. By the time I actually did meet her, it felt like we were already friends. Prior to taking our photos, Vanessa (who actually used to be a makeup artist) did my hair and makeup. She did an incredible job of it and saved me the hassle and stress of having to find an additional vendor or doing it myself. Not to mention, having the time to talk to her and get to know her before the shoot made me and my fiance feel much more relaxed around her during the shoot. In fact, my fiance and I ended up actually enjoying the photo shoot. Vanessa clearly knew what she was doing and was very familiar with the area (the French Quarter of New Orleans). She knew exactly what spots to go for photos so there was no wandering and we maximized the hour of time we paid for, and she knew exactly how to direct us for poses so that we looked natural in our photos. As two people who are generally very camera shy, her confidence, knowledge, and friendliness was extremely appreciated. One thing I was very pleased with was that Vanessa had a sneak peak of our photos ready for us that very night. She had the rest of the photos ready about three weeks later. My fiance and I are incredibly pleased with each and every photo and they've garnered endless compliments from family and friends. In summary, I highly, highly recommend Vanessa as a photographer. She's not only an amazing photographer, but a kind and caring person who will go above and beyond to ensure you are pleased with your photo session.

Vanessa is awesome! She's very patient, sweet and professional. Her portfolio is breath taking, which instantly drew me to contact her. When we first met back in June of 2018 she was extremely professional and kind, she kept in contact with me throughout the entire process (which is important to me) even after the wedding. Turn around time is quick, two days after the wedding Vanessa sent me a few sneak peek photos. I can't wait to see the rest. I highly recommend her. You will not be disappointed.

Vanessa photographed my wedding last night and she was so patient, kind, and personable. My wife and I also had her shoot our engagement session and Vanessa is just SO talented. My wife and I had a courthouse wedding due to an unexpected deployment as I am in the Navy. We ran down just the two of us and said our vows, no time for photos! I recently came home from deployments and had surprised my wife with a trip to New Orleans. I was able to email back and forth with Vanessa to set up a photo session for us while we were in town. She made it so easy to coordinate and set up even while I was out of the country. We met that morning and Vanessa ran around the French quarter with us. We had such a fun time laughing. I have never had any sort of professional photos taken before so I was nervous. Vanessa gave us all the direction we needed and made it absolutely effortless. I was blown away when we got the sneak peak photos. They came out so much better than I ever would have thought. Please let me say I knew Vanessa’s photos were amazing beforehand but never though our photos could be so great. She really took extra time out of her day to make our photos amazing, make us laugh, recommend awesome lunch spots as well. I can’t say enough praises for Miss Meow Studios. Hands down the best photographer <3 I live in FL and she came down to assist with my intimate wedding. No one would give me the light of day since it was such a small wedding (they kept adding additional cost etc.), HOWEVER- Mrs. Vanessa is a pure gem. Vanessa made our elopement a dream. Not only did she take our wedding photos, running around the Quarter with us and meeting all my locations - she also spent the day with us before our wedding day and did a photo session with us, and did our hair/makeup both days as well as a package, just because we asked! I could not recommend a better photographer for one of the most important milestones in your life! Vanessa captured so many genuine moments, simply by letting my husband and I just be who we are. She was so accommodating and wanted to make sure we got all the photos we wanted.  She is communicative; always checking in with you throughout the planning process, meeting with you prior to the big day, and providing sneak peek photos only a day or two following the ceremony!  We were blown away by the gorgeous photos, and while we do not live locally, I'm already thinking about the next opportunity I'll have to use Vanessa as our photographer!  Booking a photographer from afar for a destination wedding can be a bit stressful, but Vanessa quickly put our minds at ease and made the entire process a breeze!

Vanessa was the perfect photographer for our NOLA wedding! She captured beautiful photos in our church and in our reception venue. She made us feel so comfortable and relaxed during all of our photos even though only one of us had met her before. I was particularly anxious about family portraits since my parents are separated, but Vanessa navigated this effortlessly and everyone felt included and important.
