We had Sara make our wedding cake for us. From our initial meeting with her and cake tasting, up until the day of the wedding, she was very friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. She did an AMAZING job decorating our cake with real succulents I brought her. I got goosebumps when I saw the cake for the first time. Would highly recommend. She is very talented.

Sara is the absolute best! She makes the process so easy and fun. Her creations are stunning and delicious.

Sara made us a very unique and challenging custom made wedding cake from a picture we shared with her. The end result was not only very competitively priced and absolutely delicious, but was even more beautiful than the original. Great product, very good service, very fairly priced. Sara is phenomenal. She created a 6-tier cake for our wedding, and it was almost too beautiful to eat....almost. She is very laid back and never pressured us to book her or design our cake a certain way. I cannot express enough how easy it was to work with Sara, and I couldn't be happier with the cake she created for our wedding!

I would give Miss Sara 10 stars if possible on this scale. She was such a pleasure to work with! She was extremely professional and full of amazing ideas. You can tell she loves what she does as it is reflected in her attitude and her work. Her prices were extremely fair and reasonable compared to other competitors in the metro area. The cake quality and taste is out of this world. I had so many people rave about the cupcakes at my wedding. You can't go wrong with any of the flavors. They are all amazing! Sara is also open and flexible to doing any flavors or designs that you want which really sets her apart from other cake places who only have a set flavor or designs to choose from. Sara was really personable and punctual with getting back to you from calls or emails. I would highly recommend Miss Sara's Cakery to anyone I know for any event. I will be sure to use her services again for future events.

Fantastic artistry, cupcakes, cakes, and service! We hired Miss Sara to make a 4 tier wedding cake (gorgeous!), several flavors of cupcakes, and a groom's cake styled after a stack of the groom's favorite books, for 270 guests. From start to finish, Sara was easy to work with, responsive to questions, and delivered beautiful product. The groom's cake was so realistic--she modeled it after the stack of books we dropped off at her shop-- that many people thought it was actually a stack of books, and one person rested his hand in it! Every cake flavor was delicious, especially the Amaretto. I most highly recommend Miss Sara's Cakery. The morning after the wedding, the first thing I did was sit down with a cup of coffee and a yummy piece of Miss Sara's cake. Happy mother-of-the-bride.

EVERYONE LOVED OUR CAKE, OUR CUPCAKES, AND OUR RICE CRISPY TREATS! :) We needed someone to go out of the box and do something spectacular and Sara definitely did that for us! We had a Harry Potter themed wedding and not only did she build us a dragon cake, and house themed cupcakes, but she built us a sorting hat out of rice crispies!! Our guests loved everything, and they especially commented on the flavors as these aren't just run of the mill cakes with random flavored fillings... the actual cake is flavored with these wonderful ingredients so you taste it all until the last bite! Love love love, I will be going to Sara for ALL of my cake needs as long as she's around. Great people to work with, she took so many notes on what we wanted and her ability to make our dreams come to life in the form of a cake was spectacular. Thank you so much!!

Miss Sara is amazing! Our cake and cupcakes looked exactly like the pictures we showed her and not to mention delicious! She does amazing work and is very attentive. Highly recommended!

It was great working with Sara. We had a 2 tier cake and a variety of cupcakes for our dessert table. Everything turned out so gorgeous. The guests told me how much they loved the cake and cupcakes. She really understood my vision and I was very happy with the display!

My husband I decided to book Miss Sara's Cakery after she had provided the cupcakes for another wedding we had attended. We went in for a tasting and it was so much fun! Sara is so personable and fun and the cupcakes were absolutely delicious! At the tasting we had finalized the cupcake flavors and then talked about what we wanted to decorate them. We didn't really know so Sara pulled up pictures and had so many great ideas! We left that night knowing we really didn't have anything to follow-up on because everything went so well and she was great! When we got to the reception we went back to see the ballroom and went straight to the cupcake table! She had it set up so well and it looked just perfect! We had a lot of guests say how much they loved the cupcakes and how good they were! Definitely recommend! And we had them delivered to Edina, MN and I thought her delivery fee was definitely reasonable! We just needed someone to return the cupcake trays the following week which was easy!

We absolutely loved our wedding cake from Miss Sara's Cakery! We liked the look of an ivory cake she had done for a different wedding, but wanted to add our own style and flare to it. She was able to make that happen, while keeping it in line with our vintage themed wedding. The cake was gorgeous, and we received so many lovely comments about it. Some people mentioned they thought it wasn't real because it was so perfect! :). I can't forget to mention how amazing the flavors were, and how we loved our choices: lemon zest and white amaretto cream. We can't thank Sara enough for such a gorgeous and delicious cake for our special day. We highly recommend Miss Sara's Cakery to anyone with an upcoming wedding.

Cake was definitely the number one priority for my husband. He wanted the perfect flavors, perfect look, and to try as many vendors as he could! After trying out far too many at a wedding expo the one that stuck in our heads was Miss Sara's. We loved their imaginative flavors and willingness for customization. Going in for our first meeting we were first blown away by the variety of flavors and fillings we could choose from. Not only were their basic flavors incredible but their more inventive flavors like chocolate mint were the perfect way to make our cake stand out. We were also able to pick from a variety of fillings in order to make our cake custom as well. When it came to the decorations we were so impressed that instead of having a set amount of "looks" to choose from we walked through different books, magazines, pinterest accounts, and inspiration pages with Sara to help us select what we were going for. From there she sketched and incredible custom cake that we feel in love with. As a surprise I also worked with Sara after that meeting to have a fondant figurine added to the cake of my husbands college mascot. She was such a wonderful person to work with and on the day of the cake was beyond beautiful in person. She even nailed the mascot with ease and it was fun to have something a little different for everyone to look at.

I am the lucky bride and recipient of the 2015 Fairy Godmother Project MN wedding, a project made up of the best local wedding vendors who are committed to providing a dream wedding to one military family a year. Miss Sara's volunteered immediately to be the donating cake to the project, and I feel like I won the lottery having her aboard. I was completely blown away looking through her work! Speechless really! We went into our meetings with Sara with several ideas on a very different and unique wedding cake, and she delivered hands down, a product that I could never have dreamed of. The cakes are delicious and moist and our guests were running back for seconds! Sara was on point all the way through the process, reaching out to us for any details that we may want to choose and responding to any and all changes and thoughts we had. I am so grateful for that. Being a bride is stressful and having a vendor that is efficient and responsive is worth gold. We wanted a cake that looked like the NHL Stanley Cup, and literally, our guests thought it was the real deal upon first sight at the wedding. It was amazing with so many personal touches to tie in our names and wedding date. We also wanted to incorporate my husband’s military background and our dogs, and we asked her to use her professional and artistic imagination to create. Once again, we were blown away. Sara had requested pics of our dogs...close ups and from all angles. I can'tbegin to imagine how much time she spent creating perfect little replicas of our dogs, but they were uncanny! I am so honored to have had Sara and her crew put together such a perfect piece of art that was so representative of us. It is clear the passion she has for her work, as to shines through in every intricate detail of the cakes she creates and the warm and personal service with which she provides them.

We could not have been more pleased with our wedding cake and cupcakes from Miss Sara's Cakery! The flavors were delicious and the display was absolutely gorgeous. Sara was super easy to work with and was able to take our ideas and turn them into a beautiful creation. We hope to work with Sara again! Would highly recommend!

Sara is excellent to work with! Very detail oriented, creative, and thoughtful!

We love love loved both our wedding (more traditional style) and groom's cake (detailed book cake). Not only did they look like something off a TV show, they tasted amazing! We got numerous comments about how amazing they were. They are as good as the top bakeries here in NYC (where we live), but so much more affordable. Miss Sara's Cakery has everything in one package- quality work, quality cake, and affordable prices. I would highly recommend them! I would get a cake from her every year if I lived in MN.

Our wedding cake was beautiful and was a focal point at our wedding! We couldn't be happier with the way it looked or tasted- and we received tons of compliments on both. Cake was delivered in perfect condition. Sara's design was exactly what we were looking for! We would highly recommend!

We went and tried many different cakes and Miss Sara's was by far the best! The cake on our wedding day looked absolutely beautiful and it tasted delicious! Her prices are very reasonable as well.

Sara is absolutely amazing!! She not only made my incredible 5 tiered cake for my wedding, but for the grooms cake, she replicated my husband's semi and trailer. It was a surprise for my husband on our wedding day and he was stunned at the details in the cake and how it matched his truck and trailer perfectly! Every tier in our cake was a different flavor and everyone loved all of them. She was great to work with and she worked hard to capture the vision of what I wanted. Sara is such a sweetheart and literally made the cake of my dreams. I brought in pictures and she sketched everything out. 3 tiers - 3 different flavors and cupcakes. She does it all - and does a fab job :)

Sara is the best in the world! She made our grooms dinner cake, which was a 3D walleye shaped cake, and she made our three tier snowflake wedding cake. She was so easy going and friendly, not getting mad when we kept changing or minds on the cake. The cakes were both delicious and moist. Everyone raved about the fish cake. I've never seen so much detail go into a cake to make it so life-like! Absolutely incredible, and highly recommended!

We gave Sara an idea of what we wanted with no solid direction. Her designs are very impressive and we trusted her to come up with something amazing. We were not disappointed. The cake looked beautiful - better than we could have imagined. Highly highly recommended.

Miss Sara's Cakery was awesome. We had used a matchbox car as our cake topper and she did wonders with it. We had it doing a burnout on the top. I was so surprised when I got to the venue and seen the cake! I loved it! She did a great job!

My cake was beautiful and tasted good as well. The fondant is made by Sara, so it looks amazing and tastes delicious. Loved all the little details she added to the cake and very reasonably priced.

Sara made cupcakes for us and they were perfect! Very simple, yet elegant.

Sara is definitely a type-A personality and really good at running her business. She was on top of everything and always prompt in responding to my questions. The cake was DELICIOUS - people are still telling me they want more cupcakes a month later! She has a variety of flavors to choose from, or you can make up your own and she'll do her best to accomodate. I chose cupcakes, and did a standard chocolate, amaretto white, and had her create a tiramisu flavor, which everyone LOVED. The decorations were perfect. It was a pleasure working with her, and I'll definitely be using her in the future for any cake needs :)

I've read this blog, Cake Wrecks, for a while now and I can honestly say that in the planning, I was most worried about the cake. Sara worked with us so that the cake was exactly what we wanted and oh so pretty.
