Stacia is an absolute superstar. To say she is a perfectionist is an understatement. Her studio is beautiful and inviting. You can tell she cares about each dress and bride that comes through her doors. During fittings she will ask you all the right questions to make sure you are going to feel amazing in your dress in the big day. Each time I came for a fitting she would pin things one way and notice something else. Then would re-pin everything again to address all concerns. My dress fit so perfectly and comfortably. She knows all the tips and tricks to these dresses and overall is a joy to be around during what can be stressful times.

Stacia was a dream to work with! My dress fit like a glove and was still so comfortable to move and dance all night in. She offered a lot of suggestions and options along the way which was really appreciated and even made my veil. She stayed transparent about costs along the way so there were no surprises. So happy I found her and would highly recommend her to anyone needing lace dress alterations.

Stacia is a miracle worker! I bought a dress that was too big and too short—by a lot (whoops!) She managed to work her magic and lengthen the dress while still keeping the length of the train—mind. blown. If you have a lace dress and looking for alterations, Stacia is your girl! She was also just super fun to talk with and made the whole dress altering experience great! She was a little far from where I lived, but I didn't even care, and I hate commutes, so that's saying something! So basically, lace dress = go to Stacia.

Stacia was amazing to work with for my wedding dress. Stacia has an in home studio that is impeccable, she is organized, and a great business owner with a thought out system. Loved loved loved working with Stacia! Every time I went in for a fitting, Stacia made me feel so welcome and comfortable. She did all the alterations for my dress and it fit better than I could have ever imagined. She also patch it up after our wedding and works with a preservation company to clean and preserve the dress. My whole experience with Stacia was nothing but positive! Stacia is the best! She did alterations for a friend’s wedding dress a few years ago and I couldn’t think of anyone else I’d trust with my dress. Stacia was kind, professional, and soooo talented! My dress turned out beautiful. Stacia also made a mask out of remnants for me (to match in case restrictions changed) and helped to redo my mom’s veil so I could wear it. I can’t recommend Stacia enough!

Stacia was amazing! So sweet, got me in just over a month before my wedding and worked a little magic on my gown (which was not an easy one). She made me feel so comfortable and at ease. If I ever need a gown altered again I will absolutely go to her (and no one else 😂)

I cannot say enough amazing things about Stacia! She truly went above and beyond to bring my vision (aka half baked ideas) to life. I had lots of changes I wanted to make to my dress and Stacia really customized everything. She created beautiful off the shoulder straps that I could remove for dancing. She is so knowledgeable and provided great guidance around what was actually feasible. I was blown away by her attention to detail each step of the way. I don’t have family in the Denver area so she even brought her husband to record her bustling the dress while she talked through each of the steps so I could share with my maid of honor for the wedding day. She also put together a step by step notecard for my mom that we added to the dress bag that had all of the reminders (like straightening the dress, pulling apart the layers, and fluffing the tulle) that I knew I wouldn’t remember to tell my mom for the day of. Stacia is AMAZING! Above and beyond my expectations. I was nervous with some other tailor reviews I'd read who were recommended for alterations in Denver and then I stumbled upon Stacia Miss Sew it All on The Knot. I was almost doubtful because I could not find a SINGLE bad or questionable review about her....but it's because she is just that incredible!! She has a way with wedding gowns that made my experience with my dress feel so special and personal. Her experience with designing gowns gives her a vision for exactly what needs to be altered to make everything perfect. She is so creative and thoughtful. She works out of a converted studio in her home, so every visit felt so personalized and I knew every alteration to my dress was intentionally thought of and carefully executed by Stacia herself (not like other alteration places with a big staff where you might meet with a different person each fitting). Also, through COVID, she made me feel so confident and comfortable in her commitment to staying safe and healthy for her brides. On top of her being the most talented seamstress, I also had a fabulous time chatting with her and getting to know her at every visit! If you want an amazing experience from start to finish for your dress to be as perfect as you've always dreamt, take it to Stacia!

Stacia is incredible! She is a perfectionist, making sure to get every detail, such as lining my beaded straps so they wouldn’t irritate my skin and getting the underbust section just right. I also appreciated her thoughtful covid protocol, which included both parties wearing masks at all times and thoroughly disinfecting between appointments. I had seen her work before on my cousin’s wedding dress so I knew I was in good hands, and I’ll be recommending Stacia to the rest of my soon-to-be-bride friends!

Stacia worked serious magic on my dress! It was a sample dress and it had a busted zipper, the lace had gotten a little fuzzy from being tried on and it was missing some buttons. She fixed all the imperfections so perfectly you can't tell anything was ever wrong! Not to mention the 9 point bustle she put in that fit my dress perfectly! I loved my dress before, but Stacia made it wonderful!

Stacia was lovely to work with. Circumstances led to us postponing our wedding and doing a tiny ceremony in the park with our friends and family on Zoom. I bought an inexpensive dress online and with short notice Stacia was able to make it fit beautifully which made me feel amazing.

Stacia was absolutely amazing to work with on altering my wedding dress for my October 2020 wedding! She is so knowledgeable about how to make a wedding dress fit perfectly! I bought an “off the rack” dress which got hung up incorrectly when purchased and stored that way for close to 6 months. The mesh/tulle material on the back got stretched out and no longer fit correctly. Stacia was able to fix how the back of the dress fit as well as adjust the sides and front of the dress so it fit perfect and made me feel like a princess! She also removed the zipper from the back (which I hated) and replaced it with a beautiful corset back! The most amazing part of my experience working with Stacia was at my last fitting; she wasn’t happy with how some of the lace and beading was laying as I was standing in the dress, she hand stitched it to fix the lace and beading while I was in it to make sure it was absolutely perfect! I loved working with a true professional in her field to make my dress exactly what I dreamed it would be! Even through all of the COVID challenges she had my dress finished and back to me in just 3 fittings in under 8 weeks! Her in-home studio was beautiful also! She was so nice and reassuring through the entire process and really made me feel at ease and so confident in her abilities as a seamstress! Stacia provides amazing, talented service at a very reasonable price! I would absolutely recommend Stacia to anyone looking to get their wedding dress altered!

If you’re looking for a seamstress in the Denver/Lakewood area, look no further! Stacia did an amazing job on my dress and was a pleasure to work with through the entire experience. I’m petite (under 5’) and my dress was too long and too big in quite a few areas. Because of Stacia’s work, my dress fit like a glove on my wedding day! (I received multiple compliments specifically on the fit.) She also helped me to redesign the back of my dress to turn it into my dream dress. Stacia’s studio is very clean and comfortable, and she charged for the work she did (not by the hour), which made the costs very transparent upfront. Stacia did an amazing job! The dress I bought was second hand and the previous owner was not very nice to the dress. When I had my first appointment with Stacia she knew what to do right away and took charge. By the second appointment she had almost fixed the dress completely! He work space is so clean, smelled so good and organized. Stacia was super nice and talked me through everything she had done and was doing to the dress. Stacia was amazing! My wedding was cancelled back in May due to COVID. We had already had one appointment, but when we decided to put together a last minute wedding in six weeks Stacia made it happen. Stacia was just more amazing than I could have ever imagined. I love the dress I bought but I had a vision of adding sleeves and tweaking a few other things about the gown. She knew exactly what type of style I was going for with the sleeves and with the things I wanted to change but didn’t know how, she told me her thoughts and was SPOT ON. I picked up my dress last week for our November wedding & almost cried when she unzipped the bag. It was perfect & exactly my vision! I will send all of my friends to her for bridal alterations! I was referred to Stacia from Sherri, the owner of the bridal shop I had purchased my dress from. Working with Stacia was great because she had worked on my dress a few times before so was very familiar with it. She adjusted the back to clasps so I didn't have to deal with the ties and not knowing what went where. She also added some padding and a bunch of bustles. She really did a fantastic job and was extremely happy that I picked her for my alterations.

If you are in the Denver area and need bridal alterations you HAVE to see Stacia Taylor at Miss Sew It All! She is my real life fairy godmother and created a beautiful custom dress for me! I loved so much about my Pronovias dress - especially the front neckline - but the back just wasn’t quite “me.” Stacia made it just right for me in the most perfect ways and I cannot thank her enough. I will never understand how, but she transformed a lace illusion racerback into the most beautiful keyhole back I have ever seen! She added many yards of length to my train and custom made a 12 foot veil for me that truly completed the look. When I told Stacia I wanted my “something blue” to be a piece of the blue shirt my husband wore on our first date, she seamlessly cut a piece out of his shirt and sewed it back together so well that not only did my husband not realize it, but I can’t even tell where she took the fabric from! Even more, she cut that fabric into the shape of a heart to make it even more special before sewing it into my dress. It was so much fun to flip the hem of my dress up and show him that surprise on our wedding day! Her attention to detail is on point and you can tell it comes from a place of love and truly caring about her customers and taking pride in her work. Stacia is truly a master of her craft and never once complained about the long hours of hand stitching all the intricate lace details. When the designer got tired of sending us more and more fabric, Stacia went out and found fabric and lace that matched my dress perfectly to complete the job in such a seamless way that even I can’t tell which fabric is which. She took extra time to make sure she did things right and well rather than speed up my delivery date and risk giving me subpar work. Take your dress to Stacia - trust me, she can do ANYTHING, her prices are AMAZING, and she makes the whole process so much fun, too!! I’m actually sad we don’t get to have our weekly chats anymore now that my dress is done!!

Stacia did AMAZING on my wedding dress. I bought my dress from an off the rack salon so it was 2 sizes too large. She altered it down to my size and it fit like like a glove! I had a lace dress with ruching down the bodice. Towards the bottom, all of the fabric gathered to one side. Stacia got very creative to make an asymmetrical bustle for me and it turned out beautiful.

My dress fit perfectly, was super easy to bustle, and I only had to go in once to get measured and then for my final fitting. Thanks, Stacia! It was perfect and I can’t wait to wear it at home alone to get ALL the use out of it :)

I don't even know where to start! Stacia was absolutely incredible to work with, I could not have asked for a better alteration experience. She was so knowledgable and brought things to my attention that I never would have thought of otherwise. I also had decided to do a pretty extensive bustle (ballroom with 19 points) and she not only made it look amazing but was able to make it easy for my mom and matron of honor to pin up.
