Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience, known affectionately as The MAX, is a unique wedding venue located in the historic downtown of Meridian, MS. Situated in the heart of the arts and entertainment district, this museum provides a wealth of localities to explore throughout your wedding weekend. The space itself is beautiful and versatile, combining innovative architectural touches with the natural environment. Here, surrounded by art showcasing the best of Mississippi, you can host a wedding like no other. Interior and exterior event spaces at Mississippi Arts & Entertainment Experience have been thoughtfully fashioned to integrate art exhibitions with contemporary design. The MAX has numerous rooms that are elegantly furnished with terrazzo floors, breathtaking fountains, and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. These include a gallery at the heart of the museum, a courtyard with a stage, and a rooftop terrace, and can be customized to suit different phases of your celebration. The centerpiece of the venue is the Hall of Fame, which features soaring cathedral ceilings and interactive art displays. At 3,000 square feet, this banquet hall can accommodate as many as 300 for receptions and 180 seated for dinner. A small chapel with pews can also be utilized for intimate ceremonies. When you rent Mississippi Arts & Entertainment Experience for your wedding, the venue will provide staff to help with setup and cleanup. An in-house Events Coordinator will also ensure that everything runs smoothly and provide a list of preferred vendors and caterers. These caterers will supply all alcoholic drinks and bar equipment. Parking is also available for your guests.
