My husband and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED having our wedding at the Celebration Center! The venue exceeded all our expectations—from the stunning rooftop ceremony with breathtaking views of the Mississippi River to the impeccable design that looks straight out of a magazine. I can't even count the number of compliments we received from our guests about how gorgeous the ceremony and reception were. When we first got engaged, it was crucial for us to find a venue that was modern, updated, and truly special. The Celebration Center is all that and more—quite literally picture-perfect. If you're looking for a wedding venue that will leave you and your guests in awe, this is it. There truly isn’t another venue in the QC that compares! Getting ready on the big day was also a dream. I loved spending time in the bridal suite—it was the perfect space to relax and get my hair and makeup done. My husband equally enjoyed hanging out with his friends in the barrel cellar, which had such a cool, unique vibe. And let’s talk about the DELICIOUS cocktails! Our guests were raving about the drinks, which were a refreshing departure from the usual wedding fare. It was so cool to offer something unique and memorable. But what truly sets the Celebration Center apart is the staff. They are the heart and soul of this venue, and they made our day even more special. Planning the wedding with Monica was an absolute dream. She guided us every step of the way, ensuring we were genuinely happy and that the day would unfold exactly as we had envisioned. She made the entire planning process feel effortless and was always available to answer every one of my (many) last-minute questions with grace and expertise. It’s clear she takes immense pride in her work and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. Thanks to Monica and the incredible team, our big day was as perfect as we’d always dreamed. On the wedding day itself, our guests couldn’t stop raving about how friendly and attentive the staff was—they truly went above and beyond. This venue was absolutely perfect for our wedding. The place is incredibly beautiful, especially on the rooftop with the river view. The staff was amazing with us, and made sure we were comfortable and took care of us. I would 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful and unique wedding experience 💜

We hosted a reception June 30th, and from the beginning, Monica + her staff members were on top of communication, courteous, flexible, understanding, and did it all with a smile on their face. We had our wedding here at the Celebration Center in the beginning of July and it was absolutely beautiful! We held our cocktail hour on the roof and our guests loved the views of the river! The staff here were wonderful to work with and made the process of planning very easy and helpful for us from the beginning. It was a great space for our reception, where we had around 120 guests. We appreciated all of the details that were provided for our wedding day and would highly recommend the Celebration Center to others! Will remember this day for the rest of our lives!

We had our wedding at the MRDC celebration center and it was beautiful beyond expectations! Monica is amazing and a pleasure to work with during the planning process. The drinks were amazing and the venue was gorgeous. The price is affordable and worth it for everything they have to offer!

This venue checks all the boxes for a great spot for a wedding. From the ceremony space on the roof top to the separate “get ready” areas, a wedding party could start and end the day there. The reception area is versatile with an amazing aesthetic and outside view. Our wedding on 6/1/2024 went seamlessly thanks to the team at MRDC.

We got married here last Saturday and it was the perfect wedding for us! We planned this wedding from Texas and Monica was so helpful with answering all of our questions. The online portal was extremely easy to navigate and organize all the documents we needed. The venue itself provided amazing photo opportunities and was the perfect size for our guests. All of the staff was amazing and made our day feel so special!

The MRDC was the perfect venue to host our son & daughter in law's rehearsal dinner, wedding and gift opening brunch. Monica & team were great to work with, quick with responses & eager to work with us to make their wedding dreams come true. Highly recommend this very unique & beautiful venue.

We cannot say enough good things about MRDC! Monica and her team were so thoughtful and attentive through the entire process from touring the venue, booking, and all the way until the day-of. Not only is the building absolutely gorgeous (leaving little necessary in the way of decorating) the beautiful views of the Mississippi River outside of the large windows create a lovely, romantic ambiance. There are a lot of great locations surrounding the building for photographs as well. We got MANY compliments from our guests on the staff during our event as well; they were so helpful and kind. The team checked in on us often to make sure we didn't need anything. They also called some of our vendors to confirm arrival times and make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. PLEASE consider them for your big day!!!

Monica and the team at MRDC were incredible to work with. Monica was our wedding coordinator during preparing for the wedding and was there with us on wedding day as well. She is so detailed, thorough, helpful, responsive, and very personable. I had many questions throughout the planning process and Monica provided support and answers every time. On the day of the wedding, everything was in its place and we did not have to lift a finger. The alcohol, bartenders, third party vendors, food service, and all other operations ran smoothly as the details had been nailed down way ahead of time. My husband, family, and myself had such an amazing experience, and we are so thankful that the team at MRDC was so well organized and ran the day like a well-oiled machine. In terms of the venue, the space is stunning and so well-maintained. It has everything one would need for a wedding/event, and is both spacious enough to allow for many guests, but small enough to still feel cozy and intimate. We could not be happier that we went with this venue!

Not only is the venue gorgeous but Monica and the rest of the staff are top notch! Their online portal was user friendly, kept everything organized in one convenient place, and allowed for online payments. Monica was responsive, accommodating, personable, and her established relationships with our vendors helped in coordinating our big day. The entire staff was polite and efficient; they did a great job clearing glasses from the tables after dinner or as they were empty and none of our guest ever had to wait for a drink. The arbor we purchased for the ceremony was too light to withstand the wind but Monica offered the arbor from the venue that was better suited for the conditions. When we had inclement weather and had to move our cocktail hour inside from the rooftop, the staff made it a smooth and easy transition. Also, you can't beat the stunning view of the Mississippi. We are extremely happy we chose the Celebration Center for our wedding and would recommend it to anyone looking for a space to host their event!

We absolutely loved having our wedding here! It was the perfect day for our perfect day! Having everything in one place was so convenient and not having to worry about transporting our wedding party or guests was a plus! I will always recommend them for events! The biggest plus is how amazing their cocktails and staff are! Monica made sure every question we had was answered!

The Celebration Center was perfect for our wedding! The staffing was incredible and Monica was so responsive and tentative during the planning process and on the day of as well. Amazing venue with top of the line staff. Can’t beat the river views and the simple elegance of every aspect of this venue down to the cool murals on the restroom walls! Our guests could not stop raving about the venue and the tasty cocktail menu. Monica and her staff were so easy to work with and helped us with every detail along with making sure my groom and I had cocktails while we greeted our guest!

This venue could not have been better suited to our wedding! The layout was phenomenal for our 120 guests, and the staff was incredibly helpful at every stage of planning. One of the best parts were the cocktails they offered, all of which were delicious and well-loved by our guests! The getting ready spaces for men and women were wonderful and were equally well suited for comfort and pictures! Absolutely check them out for your wedding, I'd do it all over again and pick them every time

We had SUCH a great experience working with Leah, Monica, and the staff at the Celebration Center! They were frequently in touch, responded quickly to questions, and were instrumental in bringing our dream wedding to life. The venue is fairly priced and absolutely beautiful – we went pretty minimal with our decor because the venue does most of the talking all on its own. The staff present on wedding day were readily available, very friendly, and clearly dedicated to ensuring everyone present had a great time. Mimosas in the bridal suite the morning of were such a nice touch. :) we are so grateful and highly recommend the Celebration Center for your next event!

Our wedding at the MRDC Celebration Center was truly a perfect day and the space was even more beautiful than I envisioned it in my head. I really appreciated how flexible the staff was with us throughout planning and the thorough explanations to our questions, which were always very prompt. You can tell how passionate and serious they are about their work and that's something we certainly appreciated about this venue!

Overall we had a great wedding day, from the ceremony to the reception everything went as planned as promised by the MRDC Celebration Center. They allowed us to come in early to set up and were very helpful when we found to be missing something. The only negative thing we had about the venue was the layout, if you have the maximum amount of people, the L shape floor plan makes it a little difficult for everyone to see each other. Also a couple of our vendors mentioned there were things they have never dealt with other venues, but would still do business with them in the future. Thabk you guys for making our day special and having memories that will last a lifetime.

Leah & Monica went above and behind to ensure that our day went off without a hitch (except for us of course). There were several planning sessions ahead of time to map out the details of the day’s schedule. They were quick to communicate and very easy to work with. On the day of, Monica was especially helpful, constantly checking in, proving solid communication, and going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The bar staff was phenomenal; polite, courteous, and attentive to all of our guests. The venue itself provided the perfect space for our wedding ceremony and reception. We made great use of the bridal and groom’s suites and the rooftop patio. Hoping to host some anniversary parties here in the future. 10/10 recommend!

BRIDES AND GROOMS BEWARE!! Not only did the staff members and coordinators have zero problem solving skills, they also have no empathy for people and they will steal from guests. My sister's wedding ceremony was planned to be on their rooftop. On the day of the wedding, by the afternoon the forecast had changed and said it would be raining during their planned ceremony time. When we asked the coordinator about the weather and options for the ceremony, she told us that they don't have a backup plan nor will we receive the extra $1,000 back for the rooftop access. We asked about a tent, and she said that there needed to be a 24 hour notice for the tents availability. We asked what other people have done if the weather didn't cooperate and she stated that this has never happened before and I quote "it doesn't rain there because they are next to the river". Well, much to our amazement (since it doesn't rain in LeClaire Iowa apparently) the forecast changed again and it sure did rain at the time of the ceremony. They had no answers to any questions. I asked the coordinator about an hour before the ceremony was to take place if they can get the wooden arch (that they paid extra for) because I noticed that no one had moved it out of the downpour. She rolled her eyes and said "I guess we could move it under the awning that's up there?". The mothers of the groom and bride came up with the plan on having the ceremony in the reception area because the staff couldn't figure out what to do. The staff finally brought the arch inside to the reception area where the makeshift ceremony was going to be held and it was soaking wet. My sister had some fabric she wanted draped on the arch and it was a sloppy wet disaster. There was no communication between the staff and the people actually paying for this event and their services, instead they avoided us like the plague. The staff never even came to the rehearsal, they simply unlocked the doors and hid from us, first red flag. My sister and brother-in-law also paid for a keg of Busch Light (which was almost $600). When the bar opened and a guest asked for a Busch Light on tap, they told him to pay them $5.75 for his drink, which HE PAID THEM. Thank God my father was there and asked the bartender if the Busch on tap was free, the bartender said "yes, the bride and groom paid for a keg". My father than asked why they charged the guest $5.75 for the drink he got from the keg. The bartender then says "well I guess I could give him his money back?". LIKE IT WAS A QUESTION? They didn't want to give the money back. They also refuse to have any alcohol other than what they distill at their distillery. So, any mixed drink is over $8. They are making a killing though. $3,500 just for the downstairs area, an extra $1,000 for them to open a door to the rooftop, $575 for a keg of beer, and the arch cost. I mean, after the alcohol that everyone bought, just to open the doors and turn on the lights they definitely made around $10,000. It is a decent looking place (even though it is small) but no matter how much lipstick you put on a pig, it's still going to be a pig. Put your money where you will actually be happy and supported. We would have been happy if anything was logical or functional, but unfortunately, they could not provide any actual reasoning to any of the things that they did. Instead of telling us that it never has rained in Iowa, just say that there was never a tent nor an actual plan or care for an event.

The moment we walked into this venue, we loved it! Our coordinator, Leah, made the process of planning a wedding so much easier and enjoyable. She made sure everything ran smoothly and I could not tell you how much comfort that brought us. The venue offered many different amenities, such as badges on the wall with our names on it, mimosas for the bridal suite and beers for the boys down in there cave. Leah also gave us a preferred vendor list which helped tremendously when booking vendors! Our guests loved the drinks and how beautiful the venue was. Our wedding could not have been more perfect.

Had a summer wedding here, ceremony of about 110, reception of about 160. Also a rehearsal dinner of about 50 people. Got endless compliments on how gorgeous the venue was. Fair pricing. Very helpful, adaptable, resourceful, available and friendly staff. Leah was fantastic. The venue is industrial and historic, lots of old wood and exposed brick. The bridal sweet is so pretty, and the “mens cave” or whatever you want to call it might be even cooler. The amenities are abundant: mimosas in the morning in the bridal suite, code-protected lockers, salon-quality beauty tool holder/center, elevator for those who may need it, little speakers in the bridal suite and grooms area are provided. The venue staff send you a free sampling of their liquors in the form of a multipack of shooters after you book with them. The River view overlook patio was beautiful for a ceremony & the rehearsal dinner. The cocktails were a hit. The service was fantastic. Seriously so many compliments on this venue. My only personal little critique is how much smaller the women’s area is compared to the mens & how few mirrors. If you were to have a lot of women trying to get ready at the same time in there, it might be a bit cramped. Very much recommend this venue.

Their vendor list was super helpful in assisting our wedding planning. The venue itself is gorgeous, overlooking the river. We got married on the rooftop, with a cocktail hour to follow. The multiple levels allow for several different places for guests to go. The bridal suite was well-appointed and included a place for everyone to lock up their valuables. The drinks were phenomenal, and we didn’t need many decorations because the venue is already so beautiful. It was the perfect place for our big day!

We had our ceremony and wedding at the Celebration Center and could not have asked for a better experience. It has everything you need, not only for a beautiful ceremony on the rooftop but great places to get ready before. It was easy for our hair and makeup team to get us ready in the bridal suite, the drinks were amazing and gave our guests an even better experience. I cannot express enough how happy we are that we chose this venue and team. So many guest came and told us about how great of a venue it was for them too. We live out of town and Leah was very accommodating to our travel schedule and gave excellent vendor recommendations that knew the venue well. Being in downtown LeClaire with a Mississippi view is just an added bonus.

Where do we even start with how perfect the MRDC Celebration Center was? The list goes on and on and on. First off, the staff there, all the way from the owner (Ryan), the event planner (Leah), to the bartenders (shoutout to Dan) are first class. They went above and beyond to not just meet our expectations, but to exceed them 100x over. They were easy to work with throughout the entire process and communicated extremely well. The drinks at the Distillery cannot be beat. We were complimented on many different occasions for how good they were, many people used the phrase "dangerously great drinks". The venue itself is the best that we've been to. The guys loved using the cellar to hideaway and escape from the madness at times. The girls loved the bridal suite to get ready in and lock their personal items away during the event. The details around the venue itself are stunning, which means you can do minimal decorations and have a stunning event. The backdrop of the Mississippi River is rare for a wedding venue like this and having the rooftop bar was amazing for guests who wanted to get away from the dance floor to have a drink and conversation. If you're looking for a unique experience, amazing drinks, and an incredible staff to work with, MRDC is THE place to book!
