About this vendor
A wedding in a Christian sanctuary is a service of worship to God, celebrating not only the holy vows the couple takes but also God’s gift of and intention for marriage within the context of the Christian faith. Weddings are performed by clergy staff after counseling with the parties involved. MUMC employs a Wedding Coordinator who is present at the rehearsal and wedding as an official representative of the church. Weddings at MUMC must be performed by one of our pastors. Sanctuary - $1,400: Seats 1000 (including balconies). Chapel - $900: Seats 130.

We were very happy with our wedding ceremony at MOUMC. The church is beautiful and Jane, the church's wedding coordinator, is very organized and had questions for us that we had n...
ever even thought of. Everything ran smoothly at the rehesarsal and our wedding day. Amy officiated our wedding and we loved our service. Our guests also commented that she did a great job.
Missouri United Methodist is a BEAUTIFUL church to be married in. It has a number of stain glass windows and big pipe organ. Very traditional. They provide a wedding coordinator...
, Jane, who is there to help run the show. Jane was very well organized and too care of everything. However, it is one of the most expensive churches in the area to use. The room available for the bride and her attendants to use is pretty small (but has great mirrors) and there is a strict policy for photographers and videographers. So if you have a tight budget or are wanting some close up pictures during the ceremony, this may not be the place for you.
