was perfect for us after meeting Chad on zoom when we were first searching for vendors. We knew nothing at all about wedding planning and he made us feel totally at ease, talked us through the whole process of how the video process worked and right off the bat made us feel like friends. The day of they were the PERFECT chill (but organized) presence we needed, they were there for every second and caught every moment perfectly. The final product WAY exceeded our expectations and we cannot thank you guys enough for our memories!!

to work with- we booked him back in 2019 when he was still in RI because we were planning a June 2020 wedding (HAHA); we moved our wedding date 3 different times and Chad was accommodating through all of the changes, even after he moved to PA. More importantly, both the short 1-minute and the full, 5-minute wedding videos he did for us were everything we had hoped for. They were elegant, beautiful and still make me cry every time I watch them. I also want to thank Chad because he really let me have a lot of control over the output- he asked if there were songs I would like for the videos and wanted to know what I was looking for and he NAILED it. I've seen a lot of wedding viedos over the years and almost all of them look so cookie cutter and, IMO, silly- if you're looking for a videographer, Chad's the only way to go!

It was a bummer when we learned that he moved to Philadelphia but OF COURSE he said he’d travel for our wedding, he’s the best! When Chad Bowditch Films rebranded into Mist + Moss, the world got an even better film duo. We got to meet Lauren about a month before our wedding through Zoom. Even through a screen we could tell that Lauren would make an amazing addition to our day. Deciding on film aspects, like sequencing and music was new to us and we didn’t really know where to start. That same night Chad and Lauren sent us some of their most recent work that wasn’t online yet and a website where we could listen and get a vibe for the music we’d like! It was so helpful and definitely made us feel more confident about what we were getting. Chad and Lauren have a way about them that instantly make you feel comfortable. It’s a really personal thing reading a card for your future spouse on your wedding day. We were nervous to do so in front of other people, and a camera, but with Lauren and Chad it still felt special. The little things, like Chad not hesitating to help Neil with his tux are what made them feel like our friends, rather than our videographers. Both of them are professional, reliable, communicative and SO talented, which made the day run smoothly. What more can you ask for in any wedding vendor?! Throughout our wedding day they were there for all of the important moments, capturing the love between us, and our family and friends. We got so many guests sharing how great they both were! Two days later we had already received a 1min sneak peek and showed EV.ERY.ONE. Even strangers on our minimoon. Everyone was blown away at what they were able to capture in just 60 seconds. We will never be able to watch without tearing up and can’t wait for our full feature film. On the most important day of our lives we really couldn’t have asked for better people to spend it with.

Unfortunately, like most others, COVID threw a wrench in our original 2020 plans. We had to make the tough decision to split up our ceremony (2020) and reception (2021). Little did we know, how lucky we would be to have TWO opportunities to work with Mist + Moss! Chad and Lauren were completely understanding and incredibly accommodating of our situation. They helped us orchestrate a new game plan and revised our original agreement to reflect the untraditional times. We were admittedly picky about what we wanted in our videos and they worked with us to give us exactly that! It was an absolute pleasure of working with Chad and Lauren for both of our wedding celebrations. They both took the time to get to know us and we never felt like we were just another “business deal” to them. Neither my wife nor I like being in front of the camera but with Chad and Lauren’s easy going personalities, they made us feel comfortable and at ease! rgetic video. Boy did he deliver! Chad was so incredible to work with! Due to Covid, we unfortunately were unable to meet Chad in person until our actual wedding day. We spoke to him over the phone and Zoom leading up to the big day, and the three of us instantly clicked. It was so great to work with him on the big day. He is laid back, super calm, and never appears overwhelmed! You need that on your wedding day! Throughout this entire process, we felt like Chad truly wanted to get to know us as a couple so that his end product really reflected our love. We are absolutely in love with our wedding video! We opted for a Feature Film and we got to choose two unique songs that matched the style of our wedding weekend and venue. Chad’s style is so beautiful. For our film, he combined amazing drone shots of Newport, candid moments of our family and friends, and beautiful moments between me and my husband that we will cherish forever. We love our film so much that we are working with Chad again to obtain more footage of the big day. We just can’t get enough! If you are on the fence about booking a videographer, DO IT and book Chad! It is so incredible to be able to relive that day over and over again. You will not be disappointed!
