Mist + Moss Films

nto words how special it is to watch our wedding video and feel all of the love and precious memories in every moment of that day all over again! Happy tears are shed every time we watch it. Chad took the time to get to know us, our favorite people, and even our dog and made our wedding video even more incredible and thoughtful than we could have hoped. The editing was unbelievable as well!! We still cannot get over how everything was pieced together with the perfect music to match the mood of each moment. Not only was the work of Mist + Moss amazing, but the energy and vibe of Chad day of was so calming and truly fun to be around. Our wedding party still talks about how much fun him and his team were! It’s hard to express in words how much this video meant to us and how much love and time you can feel was put into the film to make it unique for us and our love. We hope so many other couples have the pleasure of experiences the work of Mist + Moss!!! We will be recommending them to all of our closest people looking for the perfect wedding film of an unforgettable day!

was perfect for us after meeting Chad on zoom when we were first searching for vendors. We knew nothing at all about wedding planning and he made us feel totally at ease, talked us through the whole process of how the video process worked and right off the bat made us feel like friends. The day of they were the PERFECT chill (but organized) presence we needed, they were there for every second and caught every moment perfectly. The final product WAY exceeded our expectations and we cannot thank you guys enough for our memories!!

e months after. Both film were absolutely incredible. Chad captured our wedding so beautifully and truly showed the love, happiness and fun of the day perfectly. We could not have asked for a more special way to remember our wedding day forever. Not only is Chad extremely talented, but he is also so kind and considerate and was such a pleasure to be around the whole wedding day. We absolutely recommend Mist + Moss to any couple looking to be in love with there wedding film forever.

to work with- we booked him back in 2019 when he was still in RI because we were planning a June 2020 wedding (HAHA); we moved our wedding date 3 different times and Chad was accommodating through all of the changes, even after he moved to PA. More importantly, both the short 1-minute and the full, 5-minute wedding videos he did for us were everything we had hoped for. They were elegant, beautiful and still make me cry every time I watch them. I also want to thank Chad because he really let me have a lot of control over the output- he asked if there were songs I would like for the videos and wanted to know what I was looking for and he NAILED it. I've seen a lot of wedding viedos over the years and almost all of them look so cookie cutter and, IMO, silly- if you're looking for a videographer, Chad's the only way to go!

ll around made us feel comfortable & relaxed. Not to mention the end product was worth every penny. Can't recommend Chad enough!

d make the day go very smooth. Our video came out perfect, and the drone work was outstanding. We have no regrets with Chad and Lauren and we would recommend them to anyone.

we’d look stiff and awkward. The whole film perfectly captured our relationship from the shots, to the lighting to the music and we couldn’t be happier. We were also so grateful they stayed the full day since we had a long wedding timeline. If you’re looking for a videographer, go with Mist + Moss!

video that was not so cookie cutter and like the rest. After our first conversation with Chad and Lauren, I was certain that this wasnt going to be another cookie cutter wedding video. I trusted they would create something special and unique and they did more than that. From our first conversation to our wedding Day, Chad and Lauren were extremely responsive, personable and made the entire process so easy. Their personalities and excitement were exactly what we needed and we were so happy to have the both of them with us on our wedding day. Chad and Lauren took time to get to know us, understood our vision and captured our wedding day perfectly. The video we received left us (and our family and friends) speechless and in tears. It is something we will cherish forever. No words can describe the amount of fun, happiness and true joy they were able to capture so perfectly throughout the day. We cannot recommend Mist and Moss enough. Thank you Chad and Lauren— you are a dream team and we are so grateful for you both!!!

hentic, genuine, and kind people. They mold to whatever style you like while also putting their own touches in. I can’t say enough good thing about them!

em be a part of our wedding day was so wonderful!

nd he was so. freaking. on it. He was super responsive and did an amazing job teasing out what we were looking for from of a wedding video. Mist + Moss nailed it and I feel so grateful to have this record of our day. Truly an amazing person and team to work with!

. Chad has such an incredible, creative mind. We have watched our wedding video over 20 times in the past 3 months and we’re so grateful to have this video memory of our best day. Chad incorporating everything we asked for and more. 10/10 recommend mist + moss!

hing I could have wanted and so much more. We are so thankful they captured our day so perfectly! Would definitely recommend them!

ur first consultation. Chad and Lauren were such a treat to work with - prompt and professional, kind and respectful, and simply talented. They were with my husband and I all day capturing important moments, but never interfered with anything so it felt extremely natural and candid. We had so much fun hearing their creative direction, sharing what our vision was, and allowing them to work their magic. We can't wait to see the final result, but we absolutely recommend them for any future couples looking for a videographer!!

w invested he is in capturing all of the special moments of the day. Chad was very responsive to all emails and truly was the perfect addition to the day - he and his team are so fun and make you feel comfortable, and they worked really well with our other vendors. We were blown away by the emotion and detail put into our "sneak peek" video. He beautifully captures but the big moments and the little organic moments, and we can't wait to see more! Book Chad now!!

em. Chad and Lauren, we will always cherish having you both at our wedding and feel so lucky to have had you capture the big day. The details in the video blew us away and we are forever grateful. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

camera but he made it such an easy breezy process that we didn’t really notice a video camera at all! When we got engaged Chad was the first videographer we reached out to. It was a bummer when we learned that he moved to Philadelphia but OF COURSE he said he’d travel for our wedding, he’s the best! When Chad Bowditch Films rebranded into Mist + Moss, the world got an even better film duo. We got to meet Lauren about a month before our wedding through Zoom. Even through a screen we could tell that Lauren would make an amazing addition to our day. Deciding on film aspects, like sequencing and music was new to us and we didn’t really know where to start. That same night Chad and Lauren sent us some of their most recent work that wasn’t online yet and a website where we could listen and get a vibe for the music we’d like! It was so helpful and definitely made us feel more confident about what we were getting. Chad and Lauren have a way about them that instantly make you feel comfortable. It’s a really personal thing reading a card for your future spouse on your wedding day. We were nervous to do so in front of other people, and a camera, but with Lauren and Chad it still felt special. The little things, like Chad not hesitating to help Neil with his tux are what made them feel like our friends, rather than our videographers. Both of them are professional, reliable, communicative and SO talented, which made the day run smoothly. What more can you ask for in any wedding vendor?! Throughout our wedding day they were there for all of the important moments, capturing the love between us, and our family and friends. We got so many guests sharing how great they both were! Two days later we had already received a 1min sneak peek and showed EV.ERY.ONE. Even strangers on our minimoon. Everyone was blown away at what they were able to capture in just 60 seconds. We will never be able to watch without tearing up and can’t wait for our full feature film. On the most important day of our lives we really couldn’t have asked for better people to spend it with.

nning process Chad was responsive, flexible, and completely understanding when we had to change our date. They did a phenomenal job videoing our wedding while also "blending in" with our guests. Not to mention we got our quick sneak peek just days after our wedding!!

this happened! My wife and I immediately fell in love with their shooting and editing style, and knew they would be the perfect match for the wedding day we envisioned. Unfortunately, like most others, COVID threw a wrench in our original 2020 plans. We had to make the tough decision to split up our ceremony (2020) and reception (2021). Little did we know, how lucky we would be to have TWO opportunities to work with Mist + Moss! Chad and Lauren were completely understanding and incredibly accommodating of our situation. They helped us orchestrate a new game plan and revised our original agreement to reflect the untraditional times. We were admittedly picky about what we wanted in our videos and they worked with us to give us exactly that! It was an absolute pleasure of working with Chad and Lauren for both of our wedding celebrations. They both took the time to get to know us and we never felt like we were just another “business deal” to them. Neither my wife nor I like being in front of the camera but with Chad and Lauren’s easy going personalities, they made us feel comfortable and at ease! Our other vendors also really enjoyed working with them as well! We are so happy with our films from Mist + Moss and feel like we are transported back to our special days every time we watch them! Don’t miss out on your chance to work with Mist + Moss!

nd we cannot wait for the full thing!

ld absolutely tell anyone to use them for any type of event, but ESPECIALLY weddings. Thank you so much Chad and Lauren!!!

rgetic video. Boy did he deliver! Chad was so incredible to work with! Due to Covid, we unfortunately were unable to meet Chad in person until our actual wedding day. We spoke to him over the phone and Zoom leading up to the big day, and the three of us instantly clicked. It was so great to work with him on the big day. He is laid back, super calm, and never appears overwhelmed! You need that on your wedding day! Throughout this entire process, we felt like Chad truly wanted to get to know us as a couple so that his end product really reflected our love. We are absolutely in love with our wedding video! We opted for a Feature Film and we got to choose two unique songs that matched the style of our wedding weekend and venue. Chad’s style is so beautiful. For our film, he combined amazing drone shots of Newport, candid moments of our family and friends, and beautiful moments between me and my husband that we will cherish forever. We love our film so much that we are working with Chad again to obtain more footage of the big day. We just can’t get enough! If you are on the fence about booking a videographer, DO IT and book Chad! It is so incredible to be able to relive that day over and over again. You will not be disappointed!

eautiful, and captured us so perfectly! We loved working with him and his wife, and would 100% recommend.

s so happy that we ended up doing video. This is something we are going to treasure forever and Chad did such a wonderful job capturing our day.

one!! For a little more context, we first reached out to Mist + Moss only *4 weeks* before our microwedding date...! Granted, this was an extraordinary year, but I want to emphasize that Chad was always so friendly, prompt, and thorough in his communication (despite some crazy circumstances!). I am so grateful that he worked with us to create a custom microwedding package that exactly fit our needs and our budget in such a short amount of time...and the quality of work was AMAZING! We chose Mist + Moss because we loved the cinematic, romantic, story-telling character of their online featured films, and we are SO glad that we received our own to treasure forever! Also, he truly went above & beyond our expectations by proactively contacting our photographer and wedding venue vendors to ensure alignment on our day-of plan so that everything would run smoothly, and it did! We felt so comfortable working with him - he struck an amazing balance of capturing natural moments, providing a little bit of direction to create some beautiful shots, and communicating lots of encouragement! Again, it was such a positive experience all around...and it means so much to now have beautiful films to share with our family members (especially those we couldn't invite to our wedding due to COVID safety measures). We are so happy and thankful to have found Mist + Moss and truly hope this review helps others to contact them too!!

ay-Chad was one of our absolute favorite vendors we worked with for our wedding. If I could give him most stars I would! Being a covid bride, not much was going my way or any way as planned but Chad had been my one vendor that was super flexible, super accommodating, and just overall a pleasure to work with. His style of film is PHENOMENAL. I had numerous people tell me our wedding video looked like a movie! He captured the true emotion of the day and I watch that video almost daily. Due to covid, we are having our venue celebration next year and I truly can say-I cannot wait to work with Chad again. If you are thinking of using Mist + Moss Film for your wedding-do it!!! Chad-thank you for being you!

f my best friend's wedding video(who had been married the previous year) and how much I just loved her video! It was Chad Bowditch at Mist + Moss Films who made her video and I couldn't seem to find anyone that came close to his talent and style. Even though Chad was located quite a distance from venue, I finally decided to reach out and see what we could do. From the first time I spoke to Chad over the phone, there was zero question in my mind who would be my wedding videographer. Chad is not only amazingly talented with his wedding films but his personality is awesome. He is cool, laid-back, funny, professional, responsive, hard-working, reliable, honest and everything you would want in a wedding vendor. He fit right in with our vibe and was the perfect fit. From start to finish, he made the process seamless and easy. When we received our wedding films back, he did not let us down in the slightest, it came out AMAZING. I would recommend Chad and Mist + Moss Films to anyone. He is truly the best and you will have no regrets working with him! Thank you so much for delivering us memories that we will have to cherish forever!

er it. Right from the start, Chad was creative, thoughtful, and organized in his approach to planning the videography for our wedding. Open to our ideas, with a willingness to share plenty of his own. His video offerings make it easy to find a package that fits your unique needs - and the product he delivers is...WOW. We could not be happier with our beautiful film. Chad's ability to capture the big moments, small in-between moments, and the emotions of the day was remarkable. Aside from all of his obvious talents as a filmmaker, the best reason to work with Chad? He's a wonderful person. With the challenges we faced in planning a 2020 wedding, his calming influence and "we'll figure this out!" attitude was downright therapeutic! When our guest list had to be downsized to just immediate family, Chad jumped right in to help us figure out a streaming option so that all of our friends and family could participate in the day. We feel so lucky that we got to meet Chad and his wife and have them play such an important role in our wedding. They are kind, thoughtful people who bring the exact kind of calming, joyful energy you want to have around you on your wedding day. Thank you, Chad and Lauren!

beautiful footage. His unassuming presence meant we didn't feel 'on camera' and yet when the films arrived, we were thrilled that he caught all the important moments and the essence of our wedding day, along with so many little details. I would not hesitate to recommend Chad to anyone who is looking for beautiful wedding videography. It will be a decision you won't regret

and how he was going to do it. We talked about how we wanted our video to look and he basically told us to just be ourselves. He also worked great with our photographer as well. We were both so excited to finally see our highlight video and it did not disappoint. We cannot thank Chad and his assistant Mason enough for capturing the memories of our wedding. His video and editing skills made it look like something that belongs in a theatre and get compliments on the video every time we show it!

e when searching for a videographer. During my research I found that every company looked exactly the same and the videos made me feel like there was no heart put into making them. When I stumbled upon Mist + Moss, I knew immediately they were the one. Chad and Lauren are magic together. They made my husband and I feel so calm during our wedding day and helped our day run smoothly. They both did a wonderful job of capturing all of our special moments without being too invasive, as many videographers tend to be. When we got our videos back, we were speechless. The cinematic style of their videos is so special and unique. The quality, editing, creativity, and the fact that the video really told the story of the day was absolutely perfect. You should look no further than Mist + Moss Films, because they are truly the best videography company out there.

. Chad was so helpful and down to earth and didn't make us feel completely overwhelmed. He captured our story and who we are as a couple by how he put together the video of our wedding day. What was so cool to witness too was how well he worked with our photographer. Their styles seemed so similar and they had never worked together before. They complimented each other perfectly and his professionalism and kindness really won our families and whole wedding crew over and made made my husband and I feel so comfortable. I have always really struggled with feeling beautiful and I'm not the biggest fan of seeing myself in pictures let alone a video but I cry every time I see our wedding video (happy tears!) and I'm not embarrassed because Chad captured everything so perfectly and instead of hiding myself I want to show people how beautiful the day was. I could go on and on but basically in short you should definitely book Mist & Moss for your wedding. I would 10/10 recommend with 100% authenticity. Mist + Moss Films was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding day and we'll always have a video to remember the day we committed our lives to each other.

and created an amazing product/keepsake . I did a lot of research on videographers and he was worth every penny!

ions and concerns. During the wedding/reception it was as if he blended into the background. He and his team were professional and ensured we were always comfortable. He ensured the whole process was fun and we enjoyed our wedding day! The results speak for themselves, our video exceeded our expectations and we could not be happier with Chad's work! We highly recommend working with him!

re process. My husband and I got an engagement video filmed by them along with our wedding and what an amazing experience that was. Our wedding video incorporated our engagement film and it just felt so unique and was like a story. Ah. Moral of the story BOOK THEM. They are also the most fun couple to be around so that just adds to the package !!!

ccommodating with all the adjustments/date changes/etc. we had to make for COVID. The short films that Chad put together were BEYOND our expectations and we were so happy with how everything turned out! Chad also helped us put together a last minute live stream for our ceremony since a lot of guests were not able to make it due to COVID, and we are so thankful he was able to make that happen. We cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Chad!!!

e our video that much more personal. I may be biased, but wow. Our wedding video is pure magic, it’s a masterpiece I feel like I’m at the movie theater when I watch it. It’s so, so much more than I could have imagined. It captured our day perfectly, and you just feel the love in the day through the video. I highly, highly recommend Chad. If you’re on the fence about videography for your wedding, trust me and do it. It’s a memory you’ll cherish.

and he was extremely accommodating and delivered exactly what we were looking for, while still taking creative ownership and making it his own. We were so comfortable with Chad and enjoyed chatting with him throughout the process. He was very responsive, professional, and his packages were very clear about what they included. For us, a videographer was one of the most important investments for our wedding and we're so thrilled to have worked with Chad. Thank you!!!!

ion to music selection, the quality of his work is impeccable! Initially we were on the fence about spending the money for a videographer, but we're SO glad we did. It allows you to relive the day in a different way than photos do, and we couldn’t be happier!

ready so I loved seeing those moments. We truly had so much fun and shared so many laughs all while they were filming and getting shots of us! It came together so naturally beautiful. Our video not only captured special moments as husband and wife but my favorite part is seeing all the fun our guests had as well. We will treasure this video forever and cant recommend Chad Bowditch Films enough!!

ave a bunch of equipment that is distracting to your guests and he def captures the moments you want throughout the day. I highly recommend Chad. He is extremely easy to work with and very talented.

nd we could not have been happier to have had him with us. Chad blended in with the wedding crowd, never forcing a moment and allowed the day to flow naturally. His incredible talent showed through our wedding video - he made our day into a work of art, yet all the while just allowed us to be us! From the drone footage, compilation of all our small and big moments throughout the day, to Chad's overall vision - it was perfect. We cannot say enough good things about working with Chad and can certainly say any couple that chooses to do so is making the very best decision!
