Jim was an amazing choice for our November wedding at Estate on the Halifax. When we first contacted him, he was extremely kind and worked with us in order to have an affordable DJ for our weekday wedding. He has already done numerous events at this location, so he knew the setup and the other vendors. He was extremely willing to work with us, and was such a pleasure when we met him for our first in person meeting. He went over details that we hadn't even thought of and was very prompt to return emails, phone calls, etc. He had some great supplemental items for us, such as a wedding tip sheet, song suggestions, etc. He even made sure he had all of the family members' names pronounced and spelled correctly when he would introduce them. He was a great emcee, keeping the timing of both the ceremony and reception flowing smoothly. He got there early to set up for both locations, and made sure he had all of our song choices ready. He also provided us with a microphone. The uplighting was beautiful, dark purples to match our decor. He knew how to get our reception started, even with our extremely small crowd our guests were up and dancing. We were extremely pleased that we decided to hire Jim, rather than forgoing a DJ, because he really ensured that all of the important events of the day were announced and on time. We recommend Jim for any event, he was a pleasure to have at our wedding!

Jim was great to work with and accommodating with our busy schedules. He was able to meet with us very close to the wedding. He helped us to sneak in a surprise dance we choreographed for our guests and just overall helped us to have a great night.

Jim was fantastic! The entire process was a joy! Working with him was so stress-less and easy! Our reception was SO MUCH FUN and he did a great job of getting the guests out on the dance floor and having an awesome time. We have received so many compliments on him that we hope to attend a wedding that he DJs soon!

If you want to hear from all your wedding guests how amazing your music was throughout your entire reception and how much fun they had whether they were on the dance floor or having a blast just watching people dance - then you need to book Jim immediately! My husband and I enjoyed our 2 1/2 year engagement and loved every minute of planning. Part of that planning included keeping a list of music we heard on Pandora or the radio that we knew we had to play at the wedding. We're 90's kids, so a lot of that list consisted of 90's hits. When we had our final meeting with Jim, we provided him with this list and he was just as stoked as we were about our music choices! We had a unique variety of songs from being introduced while Regulate by Nate Dogg and Warren G played, to our compilation of old school jams that he put together better than we ever even imagined. Our dance floor was packed the entire night and none of that would have been possible without Jim. He somehow knew our entire families' names without even asking and read the diverse crowd perfectly! It's been 3 days since our wedding and we're still hearing about how amazing our DJ was! He was so organized, professional, friendly, and fun! If you want the perfect wedding reception, book Jim asap!

We were so thankful to use Mister DJ for our wedding! Coming up with a song list was really easy with Jim's suggestions paper we could choose from. He was very professional and kept everything going and included us when we needed to be included or give answers! I highly suggest using them if you need a DJ!

Super nice guy, great communication and he really got everyone involved during the reception. Mister DJ is the best around! We had the famous Jim himself and I cannot say enough about him. He was absolutely fabulous and people are still talking about our wedding and Jim! I will use Jim for all future events I may have and HIGHLY recommend him!

Mister DJ Jim was awesome. He played all the songs we requested, even ones he did not have originally. He kept the reception flowing and got guests involved.

Great music and the best price in town!

Mister DJ was fantastic entertainment, we could not have had better music for our wedding. From our first contact to the final song list preparation...it was all smooth and just perfect. We would HIGHLY refer them for any occasion that requires music.

Victoria did a good job at the wedding. During the planning process our ceremony music choices were misplaced so that caused a little bit of stress, but a day later they did find our choices.

Not that we needed it because we couldn't keep people off the dance floor but Jim with Mister DJ kept everything moving along and guests entertained. I would recommend him for anyone getting married at the Tavern and Chapel in Port Orange. He knows how to get the crowd focused on the dance floor, even if they're in the "Party Deck".

I am very happy with our DJ! He read the crowd and knew what music to play to get people up and dancing. I told him I mostly wanted Country music, and he put together a Fabolous selection!

Jim, from Mister DJ did an awesome job as master of ceremony at my daughter's reception. He coordinated the flow of the evening to make sure that we got everything in without feeling hurried. He provided all of the music that my daughter and her groom requested and guests danced and danced and danced. All ages had a great time. Jim was very professional and we were just as impressed as we were 10 years ago when he was DJ at our other daughter's wedding. I highly recommend Mister DJ!
