About this vendor
Hi, I’m Misty! I photographed my first wedding at 17, and I’ve been photographing weddings ever since. Nearly 30 years later, I still feel incredibly honored to do what I love — capturing real moments, big emotions, and the beauty of connection. Today, my team and I photograph around 50–75 weddings and events a year, with over 1,700 under our belt so far. In addition to that we also do about 30-50 sessions a year.
I was born in Nebraska but raised in sunny Florida — where I live just outside of Orlando in the cozy little town of St. Cloud. I’m a proud foster and adoptive mom of six amazing kids, and I share life with my sweet rescue pup, Bella.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to receive some recognition, including being voted Best Photographer in Central Florida by WESH 2 A-List, being inducted into The Knot’s Best of Weddings Hall of Fame, and receiving the WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Award every year since it began in 2011. But more than the awards, it’s the trust of each couple and client that means the most to me.
I’ve photographed everything from celebrity events to quiet, intimate destination weddings — and every single one reminds me why I started in the first place. My work has been published in national and international magazines and featured on popular wedding blogs, but what I care about most is making people feel seen, celebrated, and confident in front of the camera.
In addition to photography, I’m also a longtime educator. I’ve led one of Florida’s largest photography communities and have taught workshops across the country. I’m especially passionate about posing and human connection — and I bring that expertise into every shoot to help my clients look and feel their best.

ur wedding day. She captured the most beautiful photographs of our wedding and helped us with all the posing. My husband and I both hate being in front of the camera, but Misty made it so much fun. All of our family and friends were able to interact with her throughout the reception and couldn’t stop telling us how much they loved her. We absolutely loved working with Misty and I hope to have her capture more memories for us in the future!

Every single shot is a work of art, and Misty and her team have an amazing ability to capture not only the beauty of the moment but also the raw emotions that made our day unforgettable. From the excitement before the ceremony to the joy and love throughout the evening, their work truly tells the story of our wedding. What stood out the most was the experience of working with them. From the start, Misty was so thoughtful. Her guidance, tips, and suggestions helped us feel comfortable and confident throughout the day. ives, she is keen to use every minute available for a picture. She leads you through the day and every picture. She gives great tips for posing so that everyone looks their best. She was on point with where you need to be. Be prepared to work hard, because she wants to make every shot count. But it was worth it. Looking back, we did so many pictures, but the time flew by. Misty's pictures are stunning, and it is difficult to pick favorites. Definitely worth the money. Spend the extra for her.

ase. Her team and the attention to detail given to each and every shot we took that day astound me! Photography and videography were of paramount importance to us because they are the only tangible products of a day that truly goes by in an instant. My only regret is that we didn’t book her for the entire day! We will 100% be return customers for photography and videography in the future, thank y’all for a perfect experience!

I learned of this Misty Miotto in 2007 or 2008, when I saw some of the most beautifully unique wedding photos that I'd ever seen. I immediately began following Misty on social me...
dia; over the years I interacted with her on social media and found her to be professional, yet approachable. She has the creative ability to merge what her brides are thinking into a vision/photo.
I termed Misty my "bucket list photographer" years ago. When my now husband and I decided to get married in early 2021, with the exception of my daughter, Misty was the first person that I reached out to. I had no venue, no dress and no vision, but when she advised me that she was indeed available on my wedding day, it was the best feeling ever. And, Misty…and her team, made my day spectacular!
Misty has such a passion for her work and will take it to the mat to get the best shots of her couples. She is a creative genius. She works with a second photographer and an assistant. I can’t tell you how thankful I was for her assistant, making sure the straps on my gown were on my shoulders and not falling down; fixing any imperfections that appeared…in most cases, without even being told to do so. Along with the professional photos she takes, she also gets excellent cell phone shots so that they can be shared immediately with others.
I’ve gotten to know Misty over the years; she is not only a professional and creative genius who creates award winning photos, but a wonderful person with a great heart. You’re not just a Bride. You are treated as if you are her ONLY Bride when she is shooting your photos. I am so happy that Misty had availability to shoot my wedding photos and memorialize my day. I can't recommend her enough.

tion before, during and after the wedding was amazing. She is so personable and professional, which made it so easy to work with her. Wedding days are overwhelming and stressful, but Misty really steps in to not only be an amazingly talented photographer, but to be your biggest cheerleader to help you enjoy your day. Her team went above and beyond being photo assistants, they pay attention to every detail when they help pose you, fix hair and jewelry, they have emergency items, and they even helped me with my bustle when it kept breaking. Everyone on the team was so kind and helped me through the most awkward moments and most wonderful moments of the day. The photos and highlight video we have received so far speak for themselves. Misty and her team put so much thought into capturing every single detail and moment and I am so grateful we hired them to capture our day. There are so many sweet, beautiful photos that made us smile and wonderfully funny candid photos that captured all of the laughter and joy of the day. The video easily captures the energy and happiness of our day and I can’t wait to watch it for years to come to remember it. Misty and her team really know how to get you to smile from the heart!

I also had so many guests, friends, and people I don’t even know go out of their way to compliment her pictures and inquire about who Misty is and if they can have her for their wedding. I recommend Misty 10/10 and will definitely be using her for future events.

r portfolio. She spent about an hour going through our wants and the details of our wedding day so we'd have a plan going into the big day. I've always heard photos are very stressful the day of the wedding, but Misty made it fun. My wife and I would make this same decision again 1000x over.

y did an excellent job making me feel comfortable in front of the lens and capturing some amazing moments that I will never forget all while still making me feel like I looked amazing. Misty is a true "boss lady" not one picture was captured without my okay and she got everyone in line for some of the large group photos that I wanted; which is no easy task. So thankful to Misty and her team for capturing my special day. I remember my wedding day so fondly and lovingly but her pictures will keep those memories alive for me for an eternity to come and they will be a beautiful gift for us to share with our new little one. Thank you Misty to you and your beautiful family; I wish you much love, happiness and success in the future. God bless.

ure moments, and give direction, in order to capture the perfect photo! We had some ideas as to which direction we wanted to go in with the style of the shoot, and Misty went so far and beyond to perfect every last shot, and then some. Thank you so much for everything Misty! #happylife

aphy and editing skills are incredible. We feel like we're not super photogenic, and there are SOO many pictures we are wanting to put on our wall and share with our family and friends. Misty is also a super efficient leader. She knows exactly what needs to be done, and gives encouraging, honest, and specific direction which I REALLY appreciated. I've had other photoshoots where I wish more direction was given after looking at photos that I thought could have been better. She also started the coordination process of all the details way in advance. Her expertise provided for great life lessons! Everyone needs this expertise for taking photos!!! She recommended arriving 3.5 hrs before the wedding to start pictures, and she was on point. To get all the photos we wanted, we needed all of that time. Lastly, her team was an efficient, cohesive, and attentive unit. Everything Misty needed, they were on top of with a smile. I enjoyed working their team.
This was their first year doing videography. That team was also very detailed, encouraging, and honest when doing the audio sessions. The visual part was recorded when the photos were taken. I'm excited to see the video when it comes out!!
Lastly, we used their day-of and rehearsal coordination services from Mon Cheri Studios, who were FANTASTIC! I posted a glowing review on their specific page in detail. For us, rehearsal and day-of-coordination services were a must!! =)

e my wedding. The same day I called Misty and it was a true blessing in disguise. She spoke to me for an hour discussing my vision, my bridal party and going through everything she wanted to do. I knew right then my wedding was in excellent hands so I booked for photo AND video there and then and never looked back!!
I applaud her team for the incredible organization on the day of our wedding, professionalism and always putting the bride first making sure I was being pictured to make me look fabulous ha! She fully embraced our large and crazy bridal party and literally got our vision so so well. Our wedding was super windy and her team made sure we were picture perfect, from making my veil fly, holding my dress down, placing bouquets perfectly and making sure my husband had his suit on straight ha!
We have had many many people compliment Misty's work from all around the world. She captured the true essence of romantic wedding vibes, fun and elegance in Florida paradise. We honestly couldn't choose our favorite photos, we loved every single one.
I would recommend Misty for both photo and video to anyone!!! We will be forever grateful for the memories they have created for us to look over forever. My mom still cries every-time she watches our highlight video lol.
Maybe we'll have another wedding just so we can have Misty take photos and Taylor take video again?! hahaa..

soon as I saw Misty’s photos I knew it had to be her that takes ours! Misty and Nelio are both amazing people and they take the most beautiful photos. We were told exactly how to stand and what to do to make the perfect pictures which we loved. I am the kind of person that hates every photo of myself so I was in total shock when Misty’s photos came back and I LOVED every single one. People are telling me that we have the most beautiful wedding photos all of the time. I am so glad that we chose Misty Miotto Photography, I really cannot recommend them enough, they’re the best!

me to the rescue. She was able to direct some of the most beautiful photos I have ever seen. (and I'm not just saying that because they are mine). She was able to capture every perfect moment through the night. Also, they got so many photos of my guests which was also so important to me, because while I was cutting the cake, listening to the maid of honor's speach, and saying my vows I didn't get to see the faces in the crowd. Misty and Nelio caught every beautiful reaction to each moment. We also got a trash the dress session when we bought the wedding package, which I highly recommend. It gave us some very interesting and dynamic photos we wouldn't have gotten otherwise. If I could give Misty 10 stars I would. It was a perfect experience.
Highly recommend! Misty and Nelio are professional, and, quite frankly, talented, detailed, and creative artists that are the absolute best at what they do. They captured every mom...
ent of my wedding, and then some, and it was astounding that a deck of over 4,000 images were ALL AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL. Never have I seen anything like it, or worked with anyone in my professional work (and I work in marketing) or personal life in photography - they are that perfect. As people, they are knowledgable and experts at offering advice, suggestions, making guests feel comfortable while getting the best out of every moment. I would encourage any bride (or if you need a photographer for any event) to work with Misty Miotto Photography if you want to work with the best - both as people they are wonderful, and photographers they are perfection. Thank you again, Misty and Nelio!!!

h made my wedding day that much extraordinary. Both worked very hard in not only capturing the perfect shot, but helping us to focus on the moment. A bride’s wedding day can be a blur of movement here and there and making sure everyone is on time or in the right place. With Misty and Nelio’s help, I not only did not have to worry about everything else going on, but was instead able to focus on the moment. So many precious moments can be missed on your wedding day and Misty helped me focus to take everything in to make a memory that I will cherish when I see my pictures. The first look with my father- the moments he and I shared were not just pictures, but a memory that will be remain in my heart forever because Misty reminded me to “take it all in”. Then, the first pictures with my now husband will not only be just a picture, but a treasured memory captured by Misty and Nelio. I cannot express how much I appreciated them that day. My pictures have exceeded my expectations and turned a magical day into magical memories. I literally do not have enough words to recommend them highly enough.
