executive summary - Mitch Kolby Events was *the* vendor who gave us that "he's on it, we don't have to worry about it, let's move onto the next thing, this one is taken care of" feeling more than any other vendor. and he delivered well beyond our expectations. details - We married at the W Hoboken in September 2018. Mitch and Kate worked tirelessly to realize our vision. their artistry is incredible. he and kate were amazing in their competency, reliability, creativity, their depth of knowledge, their speed and efficiency, responsiveness, sense of humor and levity. we made extensive use of his instagram page to seed our ideas and then customized from there. it was really helpful. the ceremony was spectacular and mitch found the most wonderful little lace bags that he filled with rose petals for people to throw. the white runner lined with rose petals, the large vases filled with orchids in water, the corsages, boutonnières, the absolutely breathtaking bouquets etc. etc. But the reception, omigosh, what can you say?! the table was spectacular. everybody stopped and was afraid even to approach it because mitch and kate made such a breathtaking sculpture in fabric and vases and flowers it was truly more of an art object than a long reception table for a wedding. the votive wall is powerful and deep and evocative and the light coming off the hundreds of votive candles that kate individually places perched on her ladder create an atmosphere that must be seen to be believed. we asked mitch and kate to transfer a large amount of the flowers from the ceremony and cocktail hour to the reception. we were laughing at how efficient and inconspicuous they were. they were so fast and so quiet and so hard to notice that they didn't really register but when they were done the spaces they created were incredible. we can not recommend mitch kolby events strongly enough. they are amazing.

My husband and I were unfortunately overall disappointed with our experience with Mitch Kolby for our wedding flowers and lighting. We chose Mitch because he was a recommended vendor from our venue, made an effort to work with our budget, and was very accommodating in the planning process. However, on our day, we were supposed to have candles lining the aisle as well as candles hanging from our chuppah, both of which were completely missing despite being written in our contract. Our chuppah's appearance was very disappointing and not at all like the inspo pictures we had shown. Worst of all, Mitch had convinced us to buy additional lighting from him to highlight our centerpieces, but the lights were so bright that many of our guests were blinded. Mitch had already left by the time we saw the lighting and so no one was able to turn off those lights during our wedding. The lighting also affected every single photo and video in our reception room. I will say he did a beautiful job with our large cherry blossom centerpieces, but it really didn't make up for the other issues.

Wow wow wow! Mitch exceeded every expectation I had for my wedding. He took all my inspiration photos and transformed them into something even better. My guests are still raving about the flowers and the stunning candle wall. Mitch was so easy to work with and made my big plans fit into my budget.

Mitch took our vision and made it an even better reality. He was very easy to work with and stayed with us every step of the way and was onsite the entire time. Could not have asked for a better experience. He did the flowers, furniture rentals, and lighting and it all came together in one beautiful, magical night. Thank you Mitch Kolby!

Mitch is part florist, part rock star. We hit it off the first time we met at his New York office space, and I knew we would have a great time working with him. From the beginning, he tried to understand our overall vision and aesthetic for the wedding. He gave us great suggestions for how to transform a pretty standard hotel conference room into a really beautiful, opulent space (which he did!). He draped the entire room in white flowy fabric and put hundreds of candles in the floor-to-ceiling window wall of the room. He found these amazing gold candlestick holders for our high centerpieces which ended up looking phenomenal. He and his staff were great on the day of the wedding and got everything where it needed to be on time both at the church and at the hotel. The ballroom was set up beautifully, and we were in awe of the transformation. Mitch was really patient with the many, many questions and requests my fiancé and I had over the months leading up to the wedding, and he didn't try to oversell us on things we didn't want or need. He has an easy, relaxed manner that puts you at ease, and we felt very comfortable that he and his team would deliver for us. And they definitely did. Thanks Mitch!

Mitch is so talented and easy to work with! I just gave him a rough idea of what we were looking for for our unconventional wedding and he nailed it! My absolute favorite element of our ceremony was a beautiful ombre flower wall backdrop. To cover the entire wall with roses was going to be over our budget, but Mitch worked with me to still create it and it was PERFECT! He is also extremely responsive and reliable. Highly recommended!!

I learned about KC Creations through a friend. I used them for my Engagement Party, Bridal Shower and Wedding. And I will never use another florist/event planner again. Mitch and Kathy are bar none, the most AMAZING, Talented, ACCOMODATING, CREATIVE and KIND people. Honestly, the best and only type of people you want to work with. You give them a budget, and they will work with you to make your dreams come true! We went in with some ideas on what we wanted, and they knocked it out of the park. The flowers were the most beautiful I have ever seen, the quality of work and attention to detail are unparalleled. I had people coming up to me all night telling me things like, "it looked like flowers on celebrity weddings", or "something you would see in a magazine." Flowers were dripping from everywhere, big beautiful flowers, it was lush and just visually stunning in every way. I would love to take credit for the arrangements that they executed but I must say I gave them a general idea of what i wanted, including colors and a whimsical enchanted garden theme and it surpassed anything I could have imagined. I cannot say enough great things about Mitch and Kathy. I feel like I went into with a client vendor relationship and ended up with life-long friends.

Mitch, the owner and best florist EVER, has an amazing eye for quality, beauty and for giving you what you ask BUT INTENSIFIED. Meaning, he really took what I was going for and just made it even more beautiful.... we are NOT the experts, my advice is to definitely trust your vendors.. or better yet, trust Mitch @KC CREATIONS. I was in absolute Awe by everything he did, our bouquets were phenomenal, the centerpieces were outstanding and the Pergola... beautiful. Everything was truly amazing!! Nothing was over-the-top, it was all very elegant and tasteful. I got so many compliments by his work :)

I was NOT awesome at deciding what I wanted by they somehow figured it out and made my wedding look tremendous. All the flowers looked so incredible and fresh, I was even told by the people who took the centerpieces home that they lasted more than a week after the wedding! Top quality on everything and really great people. Loved them!

KC Creations was recommended to me by a friend that was married earlier in the year. Upon seeing some of her photos, I was eager to learn who her florist was. I was a bit intimidated when I discovered who some of the celebrity clients were that KC Creations had worked with. However, I was assured that Mitch was wonderful and would work with any budget. After meeting with Mitch and sharing some ideas, he immediately developed a vision of design for our May 19th, 2012 wedding. Mitch created stunningly vibrant bouquets from images I showed him on my phone and was able to duplicate a romantic bouquet of exotic flowers for me. He was carefully considerate of our budget and desires. His creative design allowed us to have all that we wished within a reasonable means. The end result was more than I ever could've dreamed. We were blown away by the magnificent beauty that radiated from the ball room. I would recommend Mitch and KC Creations to anyone, whether you're looking for a modern/contemporary design, simple elegance, or traditional beauty.

Mitch had done a wedding for a friend of my husband & even years after their wedding, when I met them, I had heard people still tell her she had the most beautiful flowers at a wedding they had ever seen. So when my husband & I got engaged we knew we wanted to use him. I don't know a lot about flowers, so I left most of the design in Mitch's hands & everything was absolutely gorgeous! Even our wedding vendors commented on how stunning they were & asked who did them! From the bouquets & boutonnieres to the aisle decorations to the centerpieces....they all were so beautiful and unique! The flowers were also fresh & not only did all the flowers look just as perfect at the end of the night, but also for well over a week after the wedding. Our guests also raved over them & all our centerpieces got taken home! They all said what a great job he did putting the colors together & what an artist he was. The design he did for the seating cards and the centerpieces was beyond what I could ever have imagined. I absolutely was in love with my bouquet! I know years from now, I will still look back at our wedding photos & be so happy we chose KC Creations! Thank you Mitch & KC Creations for making our wedding look so beautiful!
