Besides choosing to marry each other, choosing Mitch as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made concerning our wedding. My husband’s sister used him on recommendatio...
n and passed him along to us; what a wedding gift! He is a dream to work with and his photographs are natural, don’t look posed and are STUNNING. We got married at The Sagamore and he so understands the little nooks of that resort and took amazing scenic photographs as well; he is definitely an Adirondack photographer! From the initial phone call, we knew he was the one for us and he understood our vibe completely. He is incredibly organized, and built a wedding timeline for us so detailed that even our wedding planners commented on it, saying “wow, you didn’t even really needs us.” (yes , yes, we did, but that’s for another review ☺ ).
Mitch is so easy to get along with, blends in, and lets you enjoy the day. One of our favorite wedding memories is when Mitch had us walk down to the lakeside on Lake George right at the perfect sunset moment, which of course he planned ahead to the minute. The pictures are BEAUTIFUL but it was also a wonderful time to just breathe and enjoy each other and disappear from our reception together for a few moments. Mitch understood that. Thank you!
Creating our album with him was joy. He really took his time and listened to us, while using his incredible eye to craft us the most beautiful representation of our day. We just got it in the mail and are blown away; it is heirloom quality and brought us to tears. We loved intermingling some beautiful scenic photos Mitch took of the day with our personal photos; it brought us right back to that wonderful day!
Can you tell we are happy with him? In all, his pricing was unbelievably reasonable for the quality and attention you are getting and getting photo rights included in his package was really wonderful. Thank you Mitch; the heart you put into your work is so apparent and was very very appreciated. At this rate we’ll have to renew our vows sooner than later just to have you back! Highly recommended.
Mitch was absolutely amazing for our June 30th wedding. From the very beginning, he was very responsive and professional, and so willing to answer all of our questions. Mitch was o...
ur favorite vendor, because of his complete attention to detail, his immense experience, and artistic eye. On one of our first planning calls, Mitch helped us write out the entire timeline for our wedding, from start to finish. He is incredibly organized, and his planning emails and calls kept us at ease, knowing that everything was planned out to the finest detail. One of the best things about Mitch is how efficient he is! We had all of our family portraits finished in half an hour, allowing us to go enjoy our cocktail hour. I cannot recommend Mitch highly enough!!! Book this photographer, you will not be sorry!
Mitch was great from Day One, and was always very responsive and professional. He also took our engagement photos. His guidance helped us pull together our timeline for our wedding...
day, and the planning was broken down step-by-step and spaced out in increments. This helped us stay motivated to get all the planning done ahead of time, while never becoming too overwhelming (especially with all the other planning involved with a wedding!). On our wedding day he kept things moving, while also being unobtrusive. I received numerous compliments from family and guests after the wedding about his professionalism, his great direction-giving, and his kind demeanor. He was very timely with providing us with preliminary photos on Facebook, and then with our online album and digital copies. We absolutely love the photos, and love the photojournalistic style he uses. Our family and friends also love the photos and have complimented us on the unique style of his photography. We felt very comfortable taking pictures during our First Look and engagement session - he provides good direction, but just captures the moments as they happen. Nothing is staged or overly posed, and the photos reflect this naturalness. We are so glad he was our photographer and would recommend him to anyone.
Mitch was absolutely amazing.
From the very first phone call I could tell he was passionate about his work, professional, and personable. He was great at walking a semi-clueless ...
bride through the decision process in a very step by step way with an abundance of knowledge and insight as to how to make the day run smoothly. Mitch helped us make lists of all the shots we wanted along with a specific timeline for the day to ensure everything ran on time and that no important shots/moments were missed. Mitch arrived very early the day of our wedding; we were having some difficult weather and had to make accommodations since the ceremony space as well as photo locations had to change. He really went above and beyond to make sure that we had the new plan set and that everyone felt good about it. He was so fun, easy going, and a breeze to work with on our day. We got though all of our formal shots super efficiently so that we could take time to enjoy part of our cocktail hour. Throughout the ceremony and reception Mitch was always present but never intrusive. He caught our day so beautifully, was able to get amazing, genuine shots that we will cherish forever. We had a small teaser album on facebook 1 week after the wedding and had the full online album to view a few days after - he was so quick. We cannot recommend Mitch enough for any photographic needs you may have.
A few quotes from friends and family about our photos:
"These are the best wedding photos I have ever seen! I feel like I was there and watching you start your next adventure with your husband."
" Love how he was able to capture the feel of the celebration in addition to the usual group poses."
"Wow! Your photographer(s?) captured all the love and fun just fabulously. What a beautiful day it was."
I got the first preview of pictures from my wedding today and WOW! That is all I can say is WOW! The pictures are stunning and capture the happiness and fun of the evening perfectl...
y. It never felt like Mitch was there, which was amazing because he was everywhere apparently!!! I would recommend Mitch to anyone who is looking to have the authentic experience captured and doesn't want a million stiff, posed pictures.
Mitch was absolutely wonderful to work with. He is incredibly organized and his photos (more photojournalist than traditional posed wedding photos, although he took those too) are...
stunning. He captured every moment perfectly.
Excellent guy who is more behind the scenes.
Just fabulous! He was absolutely amazing. He reminded me to breath, he kept me relaxed and cool and was just amazing to work with. I love that his photos aren't too posey or fake...
looking. They were more emotional and beautiful. Just fabulous!
We had a really tough time finding a photographer that we connected with. Mitch was a God send. His style was exactly what we wanted (photojournalism); we wanted someone that would...
capture the spirit of the day, not just make everyone pose for formal pictures. He was also the only photographer that we could find who offered a la carte services. We found that most photographers offer packages, which force you to spend money on things you don't necessarily want or need. Mitch allowed us to put together a package that fit us and our budget.
On the day of the wedding, Mitch was incredibly organized, professional, and fun to work with. My mother was very ill the day of my wedding, and he went out of his way to ensure her comfort and inclusion. His sense of humor made everyone feel at home, and as someone that hates having their picture taken, I didn't even realize he was there. I recommend Mitch to anyone who will listen. He was truly amazing.
Mitch was amazing throughout the whole planning process and executed with precision at the event. We haven't had a chance to see the photos yet but we are positive they will be am...
azing :) I was very pleased with how quickly he responded to emails and how he reached out multiple times to ensure he had all the information he needed. A true professional.
Mitch was easy to work with, experienced, and delightful. He was not just a wedding expense--he was a true investment, and we are so happy we found him!
I heard about Mitch from a friend of a friend who used him and I had seen the photos he had taken of her wedding. All of his pictures came out stunning and he had a slideshow and ...
online gallery ready for us within the first month after the wedding. He mailed us a beautiful proof book to keep within a month and a half. We have not yet finalized our book but I have no doubts it will be amazing. He was super professional on our wedding day and was wonderful to work with.
