Mitten Weddings and Events

easy to work with and helped with every single thing we threw at her. From our first video call, I knew she would be the best choice for our coordinator. She was so personable, organized, professional and proactive from start to finish! She helped with our schedule, vendors, details we would have never thought of, and even came to the rescue when our venue became nearly impossible to communicate with. She always made us feel like she had everything covered and was super responsive, no matter when I reached out with random stressors! Stephanie was so sweet, personable, and organized, my entire wedding party (and both moms) could not stop saying how great she was with everyone! Stephanie honestly felt like more than a coordinator throughout the entire process and helped us to really be able to be in the moment and enjoy our day!! You absolutely need to hire Stephanie for a coordinator that takes the stress out of the entire process, I could not recommend her enough!

ble to sleep at night because I was so stressed, and they made such a difference! Not only did they coordinate all of my vendors for me and come up with a finalized timeline, but they coordinated my ceremony rehearsal as well since my officiant had never done a wedding before. On the day of Stephanie took care of absolutely everything exactly the way I told her I wanted things done, and every time I turned around she was there keeping things on track and making sure I didn't need anything. They took care of tip distribution and I swear they tore the whole wedding down in maybe 15 minutes? I was concerned we may be charged extra for staying late to pack up but they sped threw it. And on top of that, I got numerous comments about how nice and kind Stephanie was! I have been to multiple weddings where the planner has been stand-offish or downright rude to the bridal party or guests (I understand, its part of the job sometimes), but Stephanie handled everything with so much grace and kindness. I would hire them again and again!!!!

the pandemic, we had to reschedule our wedding twice. Meagan was great at keeping both us and all our vendors coordinated and on track throughout those changes. Meagan is incredibly organized and very responsive. One of the characteristics I appreciated most about Meagan was her honesty. During the course of wedding planning, people are going to insist that you need things that you probably don’t really need. Meagan was very honest with us about what we needed and what was optional. We always felt like we could trust her judgment. Our other vendors enjoyed working with her and were impressed with her organization and attention to detail. On the day of the wedding, Meagan made sure everything went smoothly. We didn’t have to worry about anything. We didn’t expect to plan a wedding for three years, but we are so grateful we had Meagan on our side throughout the whole process. We would highly recommend Meagan and her team to any couple planning a wedding!

I could do it all by myself, and had already picked a few vendors before the to-dos started to pile up and I realized that I was totally incapable of managing all these details as a single human being. Of course my mom offered to handle a lot of it, but it felt unfair to put my whole wedding vision in her hands and I just felt that I needed someone who knew how to manage all the details and make sure I didn't miss things that were important to me. Enter Megan - who elevated the whole concept of the wedding and opened up relationships with vendors that we would never have previously considered. I know that Megan manages several weddings every year, but I am not kidding when I say that she made me feel like I was her only client. She was incredible, capable, and most importantly a real human being who I loved sharing my wedding planning with. Women tend to put a lot on ourselves, and originally I felt that I didn't need to pay for a planner because I'm organized and capable and yada yada yada. I was WRONG people. Handing off some decision-making and idea creation to Megan saved my wedding planning experience from being mired in confusion and stress. She's a wonderful person and I so hope that you consider working with her. She truly was a gamechanger and I truly wish weddings were not a once in a lifetime event, because I would love to work with her again!

ers and reminded me that even with COVID I could have my perfect wedding day. I was planning a wedding during COVID and in my first year of law school and she handled all challenges seamlessly. She rolled with all of my punches even with last minute deciding to push our third attempt at a wedding back a year because the virus had taken a turn for the worse. She connected with all of our vendors and reminded me of all the little details that would have slipped my mind if I were planning alone. The day of our wedding we received our bridal party flowers and they were done incorrectly. I was trying hard not to panic because they did not match our theme and Meagan immediately came to the rescue, I was thinking there is no way to change them in time for our photos and she showed up less than an hour later with the redone correct flowers. She is not only an amazing planner but a great friend and advocate to have on your big day!

r dedication and love for what she does SHOWS! She pays attention to detail, knows what you want and makes it happen! With all of the uncertainty of COVID - she was up to date with any executive orders, and so incredibly accommodating. She came up with ideas for back up plans that we didn’t even need but she is just that thorough! She kept everything positive and helped us have an incredible wedding. She was very punctual, organized, creative….I literally don’t have enough nice things to say. I could not have been happier with the way everything turned out, the whole day was absolute perfection and I have her to thank for that! If you are even thinking about hiring a wedding planner - CALL HER ASAP!

Meagan went ABOVE AND BEYOND her duties in helping me reschedule and replan our wedding. She called all of our vendors and coordinated a new date that worked for everyone. In a time of so much stress and uncertainty, I found so much comfort in knowing that she was helping to coordinate so many changes. Meagan was the ultimate professional always answering my mom and my emails and calls in prompt fashion. She was very supportive despite my indecision regarding how to reschedule a wedding, and did everything in her power to help me work through plan a, b, and c, while never losing her patience. Our wedding day could not have ran more smoothly due to her attention to detail, calm demeanor, and ultimate professionalism. I owe so much to Meagan, most importantly for providing me a sense of calm throughout these crazy times and allowing me to truly step back and enjoy my wedding day, stress free. I cannot wait to work with her again in the future.

city than we got married in. Meagan made the last few weeks easy (which is saying something) and the day-of a breeze. I highly recommend working with her, and hiring her as soon as you can after you get engaged. You will be so grateful!

he was that we had booked Meagan (no joke). And too, my dad (who probably didn’t even know what a wedding planner was lol) mentioned on several occasions following the wedding how amazing Meagan was the whole night and how she truly helped keep things moving and on track. And finally, from my (the bride’s) perspective, Meagan is such a godsend. She’s not only organized, but because of her years of experience, she knows and thinks of things you’ll never think about. Additionally, she’s incredibly creative and has so many vendor relationships that she’ll be able to create the wedding of your dreams within your budget. BOOK HER, YOU’LL BE SO THANKFUL YOU DID!

lways quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had. We are so pleased that we hired her and truly couldn't have done it without her!

or the following summer! From the moment we booked with Meagan, she was super helpful, sincere and attentive to our vision and us as a couple. The month leading up the wedding, Meagan took care of everything! She made check lists for us and tirelessly called to confirm with all our vendors. She called us multiple times checking in on us and ensuring everything was going to be perfect for the big day. And it was!!! The day before the wedding and the day of the wedding, Meagan literally did everything for us! We didn't have to worry about anything except spending time with family and friends and enjoying the moments of our big day! Meagan is SO organized and sweet! She really cares about her couples and made us feel so special. On top of all the organization that takes place behind the scenes on a wedding day, she went above and beyond with the details - she sat out front of the church to ensure no one interrupted our ceremony. When we arrived at the reception, she was waiting with our signature drink in hand - ready to give to us. She helped me bustle my train and came to a quick solution when one of my buttons fell off. Meagan did so much for us and so much more than I can even mention. If I were to do it all over again, the #1 thing I would do is hire Meagan and the team!! We are so happy with our memories from our wedding day and contribute a lot of that to Meagan! We highly, highly recommend her!!

g 2 months out. My daughter had all vendors and contracts chosen prior to hiring Meagan. You would be amazed how much goes into creating a seamless perfect day. As the mother of the Bride, you should enjoy every moment of your daughter’s wedding. Your daughter should feel the magic of the day. I decided to Without Meagan and Stephanie I would have missed moments you can never replace. Her expertise in timelines, communication with vendors and going above and beyond the call of duty. I only have one daughter but I can assure you Meagan is the best wedding planner and I highly recommend her for your wedding and have her help with the whole thing! She will not disappoint!

ent accordingly. Frankly speaking, hiring Meagan was the best investment for the wedding. Thank you so much for the hard work and passion you showed us :).

rocess but Meagan helped make everything possible. She worked so well with the venue and with myself. She literally made our dream wedding possible. I could never thank her enough for never giving up, and making our vision come to life. Meagan made sure the setup, decor, service, timeline, and all the details were perfect. Hiring Meagan was truly a blessing.

d beyond for every single detail. Every hope, dream and vision we had for our wedding, she made come to life! She was so much fun and easy to work with! We actually became great friends who share the same love for wine, ice coffee and golden retrievers!!! I will always keep in touch with Meagan, and I can't wait for another event to come up in our lives, for her to plan!!! Michigan Brides, I am telling you.. look no further. You will not find anyone whose as caring, kind, loyal, hard working, etc ... as Meagan and her team! I felt ZERO stress on the wedding day. She handled everything and I was able to just enjoy my day!! Her team even assisted with watching our sweet golden retriever during wedding weekend as well because we couldn't find anyone to watch him. I could go on and on forever, but in conclusion, Mitten Weddings and Events, THANK YOU!

y by how seamlessly our wedding came together. Highly recommend Mitten Weddings and Events! Thank you so much!

any stresses we had at ease. She worked with each of our vendors on her own to make sure they knew the timeline and triple confirmed all of the details with them. The church we were working with was pretty unresponsive, but she made sure that details were hammered out and that we felt confident about our wedding day. She came to the rehearsal and worked with the wedding party to make sure everything was perfect. During the wedding day, she was in the background making sure that everything ran so smoothly and that we never knew of any issues, which allowed us to have a stress-free day! Meagan came prepared and had every last detail written out and communicated to us, the bridal party and our vendors. Overall, she took a huge amount of stress off us during our wedding day, and if given the chance, we would 100% work with her again. She was amazing!

o the big day, Meagan made sure no detail was overlooked and we were comfortable with every part of the planning process. Her leadership and professionalism created a sense of security that cannot be overlooked during such an exciting and anxious time. We had nothing to worry about and I think that is the best example of the great work that Meagan does. Our other wedding vendor complimented us time and time again about how great it was to work with Mitten Wedding and Events. If you are on the fence, share your vision with Meagan, and take the leap. I promise you will not be disappointed.

l planning package, and we are so glad we did. Meagan is a true professional, is very organized, and is an expert at executing the bride's vision for her wedding day. Meagan also has a very calm demeanor at all times, even when there were some unexpected things that came up on wedding day. She handled it all beautifully and called upon her own resources to solve the issue. The bride never knew at all! Meagan is the planner you want on your team to guide you through the process and take care of all the details, especially on the wedding day. You can completely trust her. Her team, including Jacqueline, are wonderful. As mother of the bride, I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend Mitten Weddings. Thank you, Meagan!

hearsal dinner to making sure that everything was perfect on our big day! They are very easy going and amazing to talk to!

coordinating services, but we received so much more than that. I cannot thank Meagan and her assistant Jacqueline enough for helping make our special day as amazing as it was. We did not have to worry about a single thing the day of and that was the exact reason I hired her! Not only did everything go seamlessly, but we were complimented so much on how everything was set up and done...which I have Meagan to thank for helping our vision come to life. Meagan is such a professional, but I cannot thank her enough for being available via phone/text leading up to our big day...especially since there were so many little details we were trying to keep track of. We are so thankful to have chosen Mitten Wedding and Events to help with our special day and we recommend the same to anyone in need of coordination/wedding planning services...you will not be disappointed. Thank you so much Meagan, it was such a pleasure to work with you! :)

ef and knew we could trust her with our big day. She understood our vision and took on every challenge that came with making our interfaith/interracial wedding come together. Even our vendors always had great things to say about her and appreciated working with someone who knew what she was doing . In the days leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day, we could just enjoy this time in our lives while she took care of everything in the background. Our wedding day went so smoothly and we know we could not have done with it without Meagan!!!

planner for us. She understood my vision from day one and helped it all come together better than I could ever imagine! Meagan and Jacqueline helped me narrow down several key vendors and coordinated/communicated with all vendors in the last few months before the wedding. Our wedding weekend went off without a hitch due to these two wonderful ladies working so hard! All of our wedding details were absolutely perfect and I was able to enjoy the entire wedding weekend without any stress. I am so grateful for all of their help! I can't say enough amazing things about Mitten Weddings and Events!

s to hire Meagan for the full service. At first I felt a little deflated, but of course I agreed. Anything for your baby, right?! I seriously couldn't of done anything close to what Meagan did for her!! She is a true talent!!She made the whole process look effortless and included me every step of the way!! Thanks Meagan and team for making my daughter's day even more beautiful than I could ever imagine!!

They took care of things in such a professional and seamless way. They are absolutely wonderful and you don't want to miss the chance to work with them!!

e everything was setup according to how I planned it, and made sure no one was bothering me with questions during the actual event. Would absolutely recommend.

y little (or big) hiccup would be handled with total professionalism. If you are in the market for a wedding coordinator, run do not walk and contact Mitten Weddings immediately!!

how valuable she was to my wife and I. The entire process was smooth and worth every penny. Couple of examples: My wife and I are pretty on top of our email and always responded when she emailed. However, there was one time where we didn't respond and the next day Meagan sent a text message to ask if everything was ok. That stood out. Do you know anyone that would call or text you if you didn't respond to an email within 24 hours like you normally would? I sure don't! Anyway, when we would meet via in person or on the phone. She would make sure we were on the right path and assured us that we were not behind in planning that we were either ahead or right on pace. I could go on and on but, this is coming from a couple with a COMBINED 20 plus years in hospitality and hotels . Every single step of the way she blew us away with her level of service, her communication, and attention to detail. On the day of she was literally all over the place making sure the finer details were addressed. Her team that assisted on the day of was also on point and extremely professional. I can't say enough about Mitten Weddings and Events. If you are looking for a planner that is on point, professional, and amazing to work with please look no further. You have found your team!

was helping us get answers to questions we didn't even know we had! Plus, on the day of, she flawlessly handled a few hiccups caused by me and my groomsmen. I highly recommend her!

making the appointments at the vendors, to just being a person that will support you when you're on the verge of breaking - she is your girl. I will be forever grateful to Meagan at coordinating a seamless plan for our wedding and helping our vision come to fruition.

y of the wedding, helping to make sure everything was perfect with very little help and stayed until the last decoration was down and guest was on their way home. I truly feel that without Meagan's expertise and guidance, we would not have been able to have such a wonderful day! You will not be disappointed with Mitten Weddings!

ke sure everyone was on the same page. She also helped me update and finalize my day of timeline and make some decisions that I was struggling with. Meagan also helped set up some of the decor at my venue so I didn't have to have a family member do it and it helped myself and my mom not have to worry about it the day of the wedding! She has a great relationship with a lot of local vendors and was there to help them as they came to the venue to set up floral, dessert, decor etc. She was always great at responding to my emails! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone! I'm so glad I hired her for the big day! My family really appreciated all she did too. She even made sure we had our wedding meal boxed up at the end of the night to take home and enjoy the next day! She really helped with the flow of the reception and made me feel at ease. You won't regret hiring her for your big day!!

vendors, to bringing my dream wedding to life, Mitten Weddings and Events is the best in the business. As being a former event planner, I knew I needed someone who could stay 10 steps ahead of me and someone who paid close attention to detail, that’s exactly what Mitten Wedding and Events did. One of our favorite moments was when Meagan arranged for my husband and I to have a sneak peak of our reception area. I will never forget that moment walking in and seeing all the beautiful details pulled together on the best day of our lives. Thanks Meagan and team for all of your hard work.

ught I could do everything myself. DON’T be that bride! Hand over the reins, and let the experts, like Meagan and her team at Mitten Wedding and Events, assist with your wedding. Meagan was 5 steps ahead of me throughout the entire process. Every aspect from planning, menu selection, corralling vendors, and especially the day of coordination was seamless and stress-free. Mitten Wedding and Events never left me waiting for a response, they were always accessible, and they were better than on-time, they were early to all meetings. The integrity and professionalism of Mitten Wedding and Events should set the standard for everyone in the industry. I highly recommend their services, you won’t be disappointed!

e disorganized (though, we did have a non-traditional ceremony), and we wished she stayed at the wedding longer (there was an issue that came up with the venue and people were coming up to me to deal with it). However, despite these couple of things, we would definitely hire her again in a heartbeat. Meagan provided a sense of calm that was much needed the entire month before the wedding!

emely professional, polite, prompt, and organized. She went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. I can not imagine going through our wedding DAY or MONTH without her. The month leading up to our wedding Meagan was in constant contact with our numerous vendors re-iterating our expectations as well as the time frame/overall flow of our special day. Throughout the day Meagan and her team helped set up some of our DIY centerpieces/decorations. Meagan kept us on time and handled any issues the vendors ran in to allowing us to enjoy our special day and BE in the Moment (as well as our families). Meagan stayed throughout the entire night, helping clean up after the reception ended. We HIGHLY recommend Meagan with Mitten Weddings and Events to anyone looking to hire a wedding coordinator. THANK YOU Meagan for helping turn the vision we had of our Special Day into Real Life!!!!

n and I was so overwhelmed, our venue was just the location so we had to coordinate all of our venders ourselves. I am so happy we decided to hire Mitten Weddings and Events for month of/day of coordination. Meagan went above and beyond throughout the whole process, giving me advice and answering all of my questions along the way. I seriously can’t even imagine how I could have pulled it all off without her! I am amazed by how smoothly our wedding day went, I was completely stress-free thanks to Meagan!
