Mixing Maryland was really wonderful to work with! There's always pressure on a wedding to have good music, and DJ Troy definitely exceeded expectations! We had a very specific vision with a lot of inspiration playlists and he truly hit the nail on the head. Everyone was talking about how great the music was and his MC capabilities were amazing (and not cheesy like you would normally see). He added such great personality to our day. Ryan was also great to work with. He paired us up with Troy since he matched our vision and checked in periodically to make sure everything was going smoothly. Planning a wedding is difficult having to consistently reach out to vendors for follow up, but I never had to do this with Mixing Maryland. I can't recommend them enough!

Art and Ryan were fantastic to work with! Ryan was super attentive and understanding of the vibes we were looking for and connected us with Art who the absolute perfect fit. Art completely knew what would make our guests and us have the most fun and kept the dance floor packed the whole night - which was exactly what we wanted! He truly brought the energy and months later we still are getting compliments on our DJ. We truly can't recommend Mixing Maryland enough!

We used Mixing Maryland for our wedding and our DJ, Harvey, knocked it out of the park! The dance floor was always full, and my (now) husband and I were dancing the entire reception. He played fantastic music, just the right amount of songs, a mix of genres based on our recommendations, and was friendly and professional. He was fabulous and our guests were raving about him!

Mixing Maryland was great to work with - from start to finish. We had Cubie as our DJ for the wedding and he was also terrific. We had to shuttle our ceremony location pretty last minute due to issues at the venue, however, Cubie was still able to prepare the mics and sound system in time. We also had (3) dedicated area for the wedding day - ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception and he was able to set up all 3 areas flawlessly. Our #1 goal was to keep the dance floor going until the end of the night and Cubie nailed it. The dance floor was bumping all night long and matched the music genre we were going for. The VIP songs were well executed and he did a great job MC'ing! Well worth the cost!!

Working with Ryan and Sean for our wedding was fantastic. Ryan made the booking process I credibly easy and was always responsive to answer any questions we had. He also made sure to set us with the DJ that would most fit our wedding vibe - Sean. Sean was very personable and professional. The walk through with him the week before was incredibly helpful in making sure everything was pronounced correctly and we were aligned on the flow and vibe of the day. On the wedding day he was nothing short of a professional, you could tell he has done this for over a decade. The music at dinner was great and after dinner he kept the dance floor full throughout the night. Safe to say many of our guests including Maya and I got a solid workout in on that dance floor! He did a seamless job incorporating our guests requests in a way that kept the energy up and felt organic. Would definitely recommend using Mixing Maryland!

Mixing Maryland was the most responsive and proactive vendor we worked with for our wedding. From the start, Ryan was friendly, professional and incredibly well organized. Ryan made it clear when things were due and what they needed from us versus what they would provide from the beginning. Kyle was the DJ for our wedding. When we told some other vendors he was our DJ, they all complemented how great he was. We can now confirm that to be true - Kyle was friendly, professional and the music was incredible. If you do one thing, request KYLE! He was absolutely outstanding, the dance floor was packed the entire night. Ryan was amazing to work with to get things organized and booked. I forgot about extra fun lighting, and at the last minute, Ryan was able to help me get these amazing uplights that are sound activated and made the entire tent one big club! We had a blast. We had our wedding at Union Public Mills in Frederick MD with Mixing Maryland, and they were incredible! Highly recommended. DJ Sean impressed everyone at the party!

We actually have had multiple experiences with Mixing Maryland. We met Ryan and Troy at an open house at a venue we were considering. They were both so charismatic that we knew they were exactly who we wanted to keep the dance floor packed at our wedding. We had our consultation with Ryan, to talk about ourselves and exactly what we were envisioning for our day. He matched us up with Troy (which was great since we had already met him!) based on our wedding vibe and tastes. Before we got to our big day, the DJ for my brother’s the year before had to cancel so I sent him Ryan’s way to see if they had availability. Thank goodness they did because DJ Cubie saved their day and their reception was a non-stop party, which was exactly what they wanted. He even showed up in a pink suit to blend with their “Margaritaville Formal” wedding theme. All communication up to the very end of our perfect night was clear, timely, and organized. Troy checked in often as our date approached, making sure he knew exactly what we wanted and even asking if there were any other wedding stresses he could help with, outside of the music. He really was so helpful and so genuine. Troy showed up on time, was ready well before the ceremony, and the entire evening went exactly as planned. The dance floor was packed all night and so many guests commented on how great of a job he did at mixing and transitioning songs, and he was amazing at “reading the room” to decide what to play while still keeping our requests in mind. We could not have been happier and Mixing Maryland will definitely be our first choice for any future events.

Mixing Maryland and Kyle, our DJ, crushed it. Leading up to the event there was great communication and then when the wedding came Kyle ran everything from ceremony music to the reception perfectly! Kyle had a great sense of the vibe for the party and had the music rocking accordingly. Would recommend to anyone getting married or hosting an event!!

We can't speak more highly of Mixing Maryland! Music was extremely high on our wedding priority list and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. From our initial consultation call with Ryan to our final DJ check-in with Kyle, our music taste, overall vision, questions and concerns were addressed in a professional manner. We used Mixing Maryland for our wedding in June and everything went well! From the ceremony to the dinner music to the receiption, Cubie (aka DJ Premonition) absolutely crushed it! He was super attentive to all the instrumental and specific versions of songs we wanted. He took our recommendations for each aspect of the day and was able to add onto them as well as manage the song requests and fit them in at the right time. It was amazing and we had the best time on the dance floor! Could not have gone better!!

Mixing Maryland was an amazing DJ team to work with. Coordinating with Ryan beforehand was super easy. He always responded within a day to any questions I had and assigned DJ Premonition (Cubie) after he got a feel for the group that would be attending our wedding. I had a check in with Cubie the week before the actual wedding and had shared with him name pronunciations, song suggestions, etc. He was incredibly organized and came to the wedding day prepared. He played at cocktail hour all of my suggestions. Then at the reception, he kept the entire timeline on schedule and read the room really well for actual dancing. DJ Geo absolutely crushed it! One of our close friends officiated for us and DJ Geo was awesome in helping her get ready/perform the ceremony. Our guests, young and old, raved about the music and packed the dance floor all night. The entire crew at Mixing Maryland were awesome and professional all around, don’t hesitate to lock them in for your big day!

Ryan Deal and Sean Johnson at Mixing Maryland are amazing. Sean was the best DJ we could have ever asked for. He really knew how to work the crowd and more importantly, he was so patient and kind when guests bothered him with requests! Once the reception started, my husband and I didn’t sit down once. We had to be dragged off the dance floor anytime someone needed us. Sean was so friendly and always had a smile on his face. He always looked for our signals during dances and let us call a few audibles through the night. His flexibility made the night flow so well. My friends and family left our *indoor* wedding covered in sweat, so I’ll take that as a great sign. I truly cannot think of the words to describe our appreciation and happiness. Sean played one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) roles in our wedding day and I’m so so happy we found him and mixing Maryland.

Kyle absolutely killed it!! He was amazing to work with and made the whole process super easy. Our dance floor was filled the entire night up until the last minute and he definitely brought all of the energy!

I cannot say enough great things about Mixing Maryland DJs. For a recent wedding in St. Michaels, MD we were lucky enough to have Kyle as our DJ. From the very beginning, it was such an easy process. Kyle knew exactly what questions to ask as far as songs for the wedding party, father/daughter dance, mother/groom dance, etc. Kyle also totally brought the house down with the music selection on the dance floor. He is extremely talented at what he does and made the process just so easy and enjoyable for everyone. Truly, Kyle made our wedding absolutely spectacular and I am so happy that I used Mixing Maryland DJs for our wedding. I highly recommend these guys and you will have no regrets whatsoever by incorporating them into whatever event you are planning!

Mixing Maryland absolutely killed it for our wedding. They handled everything quickly and professionally from the first interaction but the real magic was on the dance floor. Our DJ - Cubie -was the most complimented vendor of the night. The venue had never seen such a non-stop dance floor. The floor was shaking. No cheesy interludes or overplayed wedding songs and totally took our taste and requests into consideration. I would definitely recommend!

DJ Sean was INCREDIBLE for our wedding. From the moment we met with him for the first time for a "logistics" meeting, we knew we were in excellent hands. He was professional, friendly, and FUN throughout the entire process -- always respecting our wishes above all else, while still keeping our guests happy. He never shut down our ideas and worked with us to create a day that was truly awesome. The "flow" was perfect from start to finish. At least three people asked if he had a Spotify playlist because they loved the music so much! I sincerely hope we get the chance to work with him again!

Kyle our DJ was GREAT!!!! We got so many compliments throughout the night about his mixing and transitions between songs. He truly made the night so fun and did so well incorporating in our wants and our music tastes. The dance floor was packed all night long!!! We appreciated flexibility during the remarks period of the event as more speakers came forward. He did a great job of reading the crowd and playing appropriate music during the cocktail hour. The entire process of working with Mixing Maryland was seamless for our wedding. Our DJ was Cubie - and wow did he deliver on our wedding day! Our biggest hope for the wedding was to have a full dance floor the entire night - and we got what we wanted! We had such a blast and our feet hurt for days. In the best way possible :) Even now (a week + out from our wedding) we're getting people telling us how incredible Cubie, the music, and the dance party were during our night. Our day of wedding DJ was Harvey. He was organized and awesome to work with! Such a friendly face and we had SO MANY compliments on our wedding. The reception was fantastic so many people (all ages) were up and dancing. I can't thank him enough. I always say the best part of the reception is the dancing and music and he NAILED it.

CUBIE IS THE GOAT! I cannot even tell you the amount of compliments for cubie. Everyone loved him, several people asked for his info. I told him when we spoke the week of the wedding “the weathers going to be terrible so you are the star of the show” and he DELIVERED. And as Blair said- we went crazy when cubie played one of our groomsmens tracks. He killed the game. 100/10!

My husband and I were SO excited to work with our DJ after reading so many 5-star reviews and having a great consultation call a few weeks before our wedding. We felt like our DJ really understood our vision and how we wanted our night to feel. We had really high expectations, which is why we were so surprised when there were multiple small mistakes throughout our wedding night. Songs were repeated during cocktail hour, our first dance song was skipping towards the end, our reception entrance song was timed incorrectly, and one of our "do not play" songs was played (he stopped it as soon as he realized, but still). There were a handful of songs played during the reception that didn't really match up with the styles/genres we discussed beforehand. There were also some apparent problems with the sound set up - our cocktail hour was split between 2 floors but the music could only be heard on the bottom level, and we couldn't hear the announcements for my father-daughter dance and cake cutting. None of these issues were bad enough to ruin the night, and most of our guests probably didn't even notice. But we were disappointed because we expected more. The company owner has been incredibly understanding and apologetic, and they sent us an apology/thank you package. I honestly think we had a really talented DJ, who just had an off night.

Cubie was fantastic! We had so many compliments about him! I was really happy with how well he took our notes and suggestions and used them to guide the rest of his music choices, it was super cohesive and exactly what we were looking for. Ryan was great to work with as well. I highly recommend hiring them if you're looking for a DJ that really makes your event a party!

Sean from Mixing Maryland was the best decision we made for our wedding! We have received raving compliments from our guests about how much fun they had at our wedding. He had everyone on the dancefloor the entire night and played a variety of music to please the crowd. Aside from being an excellent DJ, he was also extremely friendly, professional and went above and beyond to communicate with us and guide us on how best to accomplish the vibe we wanted for our wedding. We will recommend Sean and Mixing Maryland to anyone and hope to see him again at our friend's weddings in the future!

Art was AMAZING. I had a wonderful time chatting with him through the process, and he was so agile over the course of the day. There were a number of last-minute changes he handled skillfully, and my Dad presented a challenge with his microphone movement (he gesticulates a lot!) during his speech, but nothing rattled Art. He was cool as a cucumber. To boot, the music was fantastic. I had friends and family asking me if I had made the playlist - they wanted a copy of it. I had to tell them it was all Art's masterful musical intuition. Most importantly, no one could tear my mother or my father in law from the dance floor. They both had the BEST time. THANK YOU!!!! If there is anything I can do to further express my gratitude to Art, let me know. I will sing his praises from the LA rooftops.

Sean was very punctual. He was extremely nice & polite. However, a lot of the songs that we asked to be played during the prelude & dancing were not played & others were put in their place.

Jamaal was perfect. We didn't dictate much but told him some things we generally liked. He hit all of them and read the crowd well. We thought it would be difficult to get people on the dance floor because it was a very old crowd. But, it happened. We had a lot of fun dancing!

My husband and I used Mixing Maryland at our wedding last weekend and are still thinking about how great they were. From our initial call with Ryan, he was so easy to work with and always quick with communication. On the day of our wedding, the music could not have been more perfect. We LOVED Troy! Our dance floor was never empty, all night long! He played every song we wanted to hear, from our specific dances, to requests that came to mind throughout the night. Troy came to both of us during the night to ask if we had any other requests, which was very thoughtful to seek us out and ask that of us. He was professional, friendly, personable, and does a fantastic job doing what he does best! We can’t recommend Mixing Maryland enough! They won’t play your standard wedding playlist; they read the room and keep everyone dancing the night away.

Kyle was amazing! His previous work at The Assembly Room was evident and super helpful for all. He kept everyone dancing all night, and so many guests told us he did an incredible job! We had a great time working with Kyle, and appreciate all the hard work!

Brian (DJ Geometrix) was our DJ. He's a talented DJ who made an amazing wedding for us. We didn’t have a wedding planner so he helped us to create the wedding timeline and coordinated with us during the wedding. He played all the songs that we requested. Also he played some of our guests wedding song so it made our guests feel so special. Our guests even said they had never had an amazing DJ like him before. We are so thankful that we found him. We highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a DJ for your wedding.

Cubie was awesome, everything went so smoothly. Music for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception was perfect. The mic situation was perfect. Great mix of music had everyone dancing the whole night. Can't thank you guys enough!

Geo (Brian) was amazing! People were on the dance floor as soon as the first dances were over. Staff members at venue said he was the best they've ever seen and these people have worked thousands of weddings. Best decision!

Kyle is absolutely INCREDIBLE! We had the best experience with Kyle and Ryan from start to finish. From the start, they both knew exactly what we were looking for and Kyle absolutely delivered on our wedding. Prior to the wedding, we had such a fun conversation with Kyle about the songs and overall vibe that we wanted. From the ceremony music, to cocktail hour, to the reception, his ability to read the room and transitions were truly incredible. Hire them - you will NOT regret it!

Kyle at Mixing Maryland DJ'd our wedding and was AMAZING! The dance floor was packed all night. His ability to read the room and adjust on the fly is incredible. Even cocktail hour music was great, getting us ready for what was to come. His setups in each room were great, didn't take up too much space, looked very professional and sounded really clear. Plus his own personal style was super cool and polished. The way that he MC'd and announced things to the crowd was never awkward, there was never a moment that we were wondering what was going on, he had everything under control at all times. He had two phone calls with us about a month before our wedding and worked with us on our must-play and must-not-play lists and his feedback was super helpful. I even had a song that was a mp3 file as a surprise for my husband and he worked it in to the night perfectly. Truly can't recommend him enough!

Fantastic team to work with! My wife and I had Kyle DJ our wedding, and the dancing did not stop until the end of the night! He absolutely nailed the music for every step of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.

Kyle freaking KILLED IT!! Literally everyone was saying how amazing he was and the way he read the room and got everyone out on the dance floor was perfect. There were some last minute adjustments with a intro line up change and then shortening a song and was he super accommodating. One of the photographers saw him in the ceremony space where we could see from the suite and was like “is that Kyle?! I love that man this is gonna be one hell of a night for you guys”. Having the live mixing experience from a DJ is a whole other level of talent, how smooth the transitions were from song to song and the little teasers of songs he was mixing in had everyone super hyped. Joe and I were living our best lives out on the dance floor (along with everyone else). Truly the best night of our life. Working with Ryan and Kyle has been such an amazing experience and I’m so grateful that Mixing Maryland was apart of our special day. They were the first DJ I reached out too when planning and from the first phone conversation I knew that they were it. They are so easy to talk to and made everything so easy for the planning process.

Didn't leave the dance floor! Wow, Mixing Maryland and Kyle were professional but also the MOST fun. Kyle did a great job at reading the room, keeping everyone having a blast on the dance floor, as well as allowing space for our Jewish Bottle Dancers to start the Horah. The way Kyle mixed songs and blended my taste with my husband's taste with music was an artistry.

WOW cannot recommend these guys enough! Our DJ Kyle was an absolute hit at our wedding, multiple people asked him if he would ever travel to do their wedding. I had intitally wanted a band; I was scared of having a "cheesy DJ", but after talking to the owner, Ryan, I was quickly reassured they would be anything from that. They were great to work with leading up to the day - they are so knowledgeable about the industry, and gave us lots of advice that didn't even relate to music - they were just so helpful! We had a friend play the violin during the ceremony, and Kyle called and worked with him in advance to coordinate equipment and schedule. Night of, he ensured our timeline went smoothly, and checked in with my husband and I to make sure everything was going well. Past 9pm, I truly rarely left the dancefloor - we had SO much fun. It was a perfect combo of music from our entire lives, and they are real DJ's, so his transitions were awesome. He frequently got rounds of applause. These guys were affordable, super nice, and really talented - a perfect vendor team.

Cubie (DJ Premonition) is a phenomenal DJ. He has an incredible amount of technical skill that is rare for event DJs and with relatively little guidance filled our wedding night with a soundtrack that my wife and I wish we could listen to on repeat. We had a diverse group of attendees, and he curated a set list of music that my wife and I loved and that our whole crowd danced the entire night to. From the minute dinner ended, Cubie kept the dance floor packed. He kept the volume appropriate and vibe immaculate for cocktail hour and dinner, and energy high for our entire reception. He offered expert guidance on event order and track length for father-daughter and mother-son dances, while reading the crowd well and adjusting the length of our interactive/cultural dances on the fly. He chose tasteful locations for up lighting that accentuated the architecture of our venue and his overall setup maintained the classy atmosphere we aspired for. He made sure our favorite tracks were played, and accommodated requests for difficult to find tracks, such as the ones for our first and last dance. We’re incredibly grateful to have found him through Ryan at Mixing Maryland. Mixing Maryland came very highly recommended by several vendors we spoke to and worked with, and they were absolutely right.

Everything was amazing! Kyle absolutely killed it and I cannot begin to tell how much fun we had. So many people came up to me and the groom during the wedding to say how much fun they were having on the dancefloor. One of the biggest things my husband and I wanted for our wedding was to have a good time and party the entire reception and that's exactly what we got. Kyle did amazing - we gave him an idea of the vibe we wanted and a couple of song suggestions and he took that and went above and beyond. We gave him complete control to pick the music for cocktail hour and dinner and it was awesome. I could feel the fun energy during cocktail hour, even though I was getting pictures taken in another location. Hiring Mixing Maryland was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They were not only amazing at what they do, but they were wonderful to work with. They even helped me figure out some timeline logistics with my coordinator because we wanted everything to flow smoothly and have maximum time on the dancefloor. I'm also a COVID bride and we had to reschedule my wedding from October 2020. They were extremely flexible and communicative during that time and we worked together to find a new date that worked for my vendors. They made everything super easy. Working with Mixing Maryland DJ's was a great experience. We had Cubie for our DJ and he was fantastic. He really helped our event run smoothly and took time to speak with us to make sure he knew exactly what we were looking for. He had a great song selection picked our based on our recommendations. As a wedding photographer, I knew from the moment I got engaged that I would be hiring Mixing Maryland for my own wedding. I've seen them rock many events and it's always an AMAZING time! We had DJ Kyle - and he was obviously incredible - no surprise there! His personality is so radiant and our guests could not stop raving about him! Everyone was so impressed and mind blown at his mixes and transitions! I cannot thank Ryan and Kyle enough for being such a pleasure to work with. They made everything so easy and were incredibly professional. We are so grateful to both Ryan and Kyle for helping make our day absolutely PERFECT. My only regret is not having it last longer!!!

If you are looking for a DJ experience unlike any you have heard at a wedding before, you NEED to hire Mixing Maryland! Our guests still can't stop talking about how amazing our DJ, Kyle, was. From the moment we connected with Mixing Maryland, we knew it was going to be a great fit. We were supposed to get married in July 2020, but postponed due to COVID. Mixing Maryland could not have been easier to work with through this postponement- they simply asked for our new date, changed the date on our contract, and were ready to go this year! Mixing Maryland and Kyle reached out to us multiple times in the months before the wedding to ensure they had the correct timeline, pronunciations of the wedding party, and really took the time to get to know what kind of music we like and wanted to hear. When I tell you everyone at the wedding was dancing from the moment Kyle started playing until the last song, I am not even exaggerating! We wanted a big party with singing and dancing and that is exactly what Kyle delivered. He played the perfect mix of music to keep all of our guests happy and dancing, and played all of the songs we indicated that we wanted to hear. I cannot recommend Mixing Maryland and Kyle enough!!

Mixing Maryland and Sean were absolutely fantastic to work with!!! Seriously, the are the best in Maryland - look no further. We got married 5/21/21 and had to postpone our wedding due the pandemic a few times. They worked with us every step of the way and met all of our needs and questions. I never had to worry while other couples scrambled. They plan every single detail out! Thinking of things we never would. Sean is such a personable, kind hearted human. He truly made us feel relaxed with his presence which allowed us to enjoy our day to the fullest. We got SO many compliments on our music and we danced with our guests all night long. I don’t think we took any breaks because it was hit after hit. Everyone said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to!! Thank you Mixing Maryland and Sean. Mixing Maryland and Sean were so awesome to work with! Sean is incredibly talented at what he does. He kept people on the dance floor all night and did an impressive job helping to keep things moving on time. We requested a 90’s themed cocktail hour, which he totally nailed. He also had seamless transitions during the ceremony and had everything perfectly timed and on cue for our special entrances. He was also just so great to work with – I remember being so excited for our big day after our final prep call. We would highly recommend Sean and Mixing Maryland to others!

Mixing Maryland was the best DJ decision we could have made. Ryan and Sean were absolutely incredible to work with and the price is right! We had Sean DJ our wedding and throughout the planning process, Sean was there to talk to us about our expectations, his plans and how we could collaborate to make the reception perfect. So many positive things to say, where do I begin!? We found Mixing Maryland through our wedding planner CME. Everything you hear about them & their team is absolutely true. From the beginning, the entire team has been incredible! The first phone call we had with Cubie, we knew he was going to kill it for us. Michael and I love a lot of different genres of music and we were very nervous about how Cubie could tie it all in. Five mins into the reception, all of our fears had subsided. He killed it! We had everyone on the dance floor within one song! He was such a positive vibe and his energy was contagious! We highly recommend not only Cubie, but also Mixing Maryland as a whole. We can’t thank you enough!!!!

Wow, there are no words to truly capture how incredibly Mixing Maryland’s whole team is. We worked with Ryan and Kyle throughout the whole process and they were by far the most dedicated, thoughtful and fun team we could have ever worked with. With COVID, the team was intentional and made sure to come up with plans based on our guests comfort levels of dancing. We had Kyle for our DJ, and he was unbelievable. There are not enough good things that I can say about Sean! He was seriously the best DJ for our crowd. When we first met with him you could tell that he takes his job seriously and he wants to make sure that it fits you. We were a little more laid back with a lot of things and just told him that we trust his judgment as far as timing and reading the crowd and boy did he read them right. All of our guests were raving about him and how he was amazing! I have already forwarded his information to multiple people that requested it. I definitely recommend him to anyone no matter what style you are. He went above and beyond and I almost forgot to mention, his personality rocks! I will definitely be hiring him in the future if he is available! Thanks again Sean for making our night a hit!

We met Ryan from Mixing Maryland at an open house for wedding vendors, and booked him on the spot. Ryan was so great to work with, helping us with recommendations for songs, small things we hadn’t even thought of for the ceremony, and in planning our special day. DJ Q was our wedding DJ and was SO MUCH FUN. Our music was absolutely perfect, the dance floor was bumping (yes, even during a COVID wedding) and we had a blast. Highly recommend!

Working with Mixing Maryland was awesome! Ryan was easy to communicate with in the lead up, helpful in getting everything we needed (and not trying to upsell us with a bunch of things we didn't) and we found their pricing to be very reasonable. On the day we had Kyle as our DJ, and I only have good things to say - he was super professional and handled everything for the ceremony and reception formalities, and then absolutely crushed the dancefloor later in the night! Everyone had an amazing time, and Kyle was a big part of that. Overall, Mixing Maryland were great to work with, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services to anyone we know planning an event.

Holy WOW. I trusted Mixing Maryland with the energy of our party and they did not disappoint! We were referred to Mixing Maryland both by our planners, The Otherside Creatives, and by a friend who had raved about using them for her own wedding. We consulted with Ryan and our day-of DJ, Kyle, ahead of time. Kyle read the room and I could tell he really took in the conversation we had beforehand about music selection without me being prescriptive. I think I gave him one must-play song, and otherwise he intuited our tastes to the tee. Kyle lived up to all the hype and, if anything, we had trouble staying OFF the dance floor. He was flexible and tastefully incorporated all of our mainstream and off-beat requests. I had so much fun at our wedding and all of the feedback I've gotten has been about how impressive our dance floor was the entire night. From the get-go, we discussed how dancing at weddings is possibly one of my all-time favorite things, and our wedding may have been the pinnacle of wedding dancing!

Ryan (owner) was extremely professional and responsive. He paired us with Cubie (DJ Premonition) and he was amazing! Played great music and was happy to play any special requests. All the girls at my wedding also thought he was a cutie! I would definitely recommend Mixing Maryland. The pricing was great and all around great people to work with.

We worked with Kyle for our wedding and could not have had a better experience! Before the wedding, all we really told him was that we hoped for a packed dance floor and he definitely delivered. We have had countless people tell us that our wedding reception was the best they have ever been to! From the first song until the last, the dance floor was packed. Kyle played a great mix of songs throughout the decades in addition to recent popular music. In addition, he was also very professional in doing our entrances, announcements, etc. Mixing Maryland came highly recommended by our wedding planner and we trusted her fully. We are so glad that we were able to work with Kyle and would recommend him to anyone!

PERFECTION! These guys are the party. Ryan was always responsive to all my communication. He was easy to work with and very efficient in terms of handling our contract. We had Sean as our DJ and it was a perfect match to our eclectic needs/taste. His phone app planning tool made choosing music a breeze and we used Zoom to set up our couple of planning meetings which worked well for our busy schedules. The day of our wedding Sean kept us on track even making up for lost time when our ceremony started late. We coordinated with the wait staff to keep the reception on point and our dance floor stayed packed the entire night. Even our older guests commented that the music was great all night. Sean was even good to accomadte requests quickly but within reason of our overall music style. Sean delivered in every way! We plan on having a anniversary party just so we can book Mixing Maryland again!

Ryan and his team were fantastic throughout our entire wedding process. They were very easy to work with and did a great job at our wedding.
