We can't thank Roman enough for making our wedding reception an unforgettable celebration! From the very first song to the last he had everyone on the dance floor—literally, no one left! The energy was incredible, and the music was perfectly curated to keep the party going all night long! Our guests couldn't stop complimenting how much fun they had, and we were thrilled to see people of all ages dancing and enjoying themselves. Roman created an atmosphere that was exactly what we wanted for our big day making our wedding the very best. We only wished it lasted longer!! Highly recommend to anyone looking to create an epic party atmosphere!

We used Mixology for our fall 2024 wedding and they were amazing! Roman was a phenomenal DJ/MC and I heard from so many guests that he was one of the best DJs they've experienced! There were a few tricky cues for songs during the ceremony and he executed them perfectly. We can't recommend Roman enough!!!

What we loved most was how he created a club-like atmosphere, not just playing a playlist, but truly reading the crowd and delivering the perfect vibe. We are so happy to have had Roman as the DJ for our daughter's wedding. He was easy to work with and excellent in his communication and flexibility. His wedding software was also easy to use. My daughter had a smaller wedding and wanted to be sure people danced, and he kept them on the dance floor all night long! We would highly recommend Mixology!

My husband and I recently got married this June 2024 and we used Mixology for our wedding DJ. Roman did such an amazing job both at the ceremony and the reception. He was professional and arrived early to make sure he had his equipment set up and ready for use. Roman is super talented and mixed all of our favorite songs to dance to. We had a great experience with Mixology for our wedding and are happy to give them four stars. Their communication was excellent—Roman always responded quickly and was incredibly kind and professional. They were extremely flexible and easy to work with, accommodating several changes we made along the way, which we really appreciated. The photo booth was a big hit with our guests. The package deal of the photo booth and DJ was a great value and helped us save money. We also appreciated their thorough forms, which were very reassuring during the planning process. The photo booth attendant was phenomenal, going above and beyond by assisting our wedding director during set-up. Everyone found him kind and helpful. While the DJ struggled to be heard at times and our music selection wasn't fully followed, we believe the acoustics of the venue played a role in this, and it was something we couldn't have known until the day of. Despite this, we enjoyed our overall experience with Mixology and would recommend their services for their professionalism, value, and flexibility.

Roman was easily our favourite vendor from our wedding. He was very professional, but in a friendly / reassuring way. Couple of times he saved the day when we missed certain cues but he saw it and adapted and the music timing perfectly despite our delay. The dancing was absolutely electric — he’s an incredibly accomplished DJ who mixed all the music live based on the dancefloor vibe, and he had EVERYONE dancing. It was really incredible how he was able to every generation out there at one point or another. We also had some pretty specific / hard to find songs, which he accommodated flawlessly. Couldn’t recommend him more!

My husband and I had DJ Angel as our DJ and we could not have been happier with him! DJ Angel met and exceeded all of our expectations. Having a bilingual DJ was one of the most important things for us on our wedding day. Most of our guests only spoke Spanish so we really needed a DJ who could speak both languages for our crowd. He kept the party alive with a great mix of English and Spanish music. Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing he was. Our hora loca was a lot of our guests’ favorite part of the wedding. We could not recommend mixology more! All our interactions with Roman (the owner) and DJ Angel were more than great. Do yourself a favor and book these guys for your wedding!

Roman was awesome! We had our dream wedding 5/4/2024 and are still getting complements on our DJ and music! From the beginning Roman was so easy to work with. His communication skills and professionalism throughout the planning process was stellar! From the ceremony, to cocktail hour to reception there was never a dull moment. When I tell you everyone was on the dance floor I mean EVERYONE! His mixes had the perfect transitions between songs and there was never a dull moment. I would definitely recommend Mixology to anyone who wants a reliable DJ with killer music!

I cannot say enough how relieved I am about my wedding reception with Roman!!! My family is very tiny and I was worried there would be no dancing at the reception but Roman managed to start the party and keep it alive! He led games, played music, and was so professional the entire night. We will be recommending him to everyone. I wish I could submit photos of my tiny family having fun but I was just too excited to leave this review; I’m still smiling!!

Putting into words how great Roman made our wedding night is impossible. We’re almost a week out and people are still talking about how great he was. Nobody left the dance floor, we ALL karaoked different songs. He played easy listening for dinner, transitioned to more pop style music then the real party stared. He played everything from Shania Twain to Biggie Smalls back to Journey. My husbands mother/daughter dance song was a stumper & he helped me pick Simple Man, my husband and his mom both cried. Roman also got some CRISP videos of us tearing up the dance floor and karaoking! He was more than 10/10! Will recommend him every single time to newlyweds. Roman, you’re a gem!

We had Jon as our DJ and he killed it!!! I am sure all of the other DJ's they have are great too, but I would definitely recommend Jon! All around great experience from booking to our final exit.

What a great company! There are so many wedding vendors and businesses in general that you talk to and just get a feel that they just want to sell you something and move on. From our initial call, you could tell that wasn't the case here. I think that is very important, to find someone who not only is good at their job, but someone who really cares! We had Mixology DJ our company holiday party 2 years ago and I luckily had just gotten engaged. I almost instantly knew I wanted to have them be our wedding DJ. Our wedding ended up turning into a CRAZY dance party and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Amazing mixes!!!!

We saw Roman DJ at our friend's wedding last April and after seeing him do his thing, we knew we wanted Mixology to do our wedding this year as well! We got Mikey as our DJ and are so glad we did! Sometimes you don't get the same quality across the board with any service, but we've seen 2 DJ's from Mixology now and they are both amazing. If you want your sound to be perfect for your wedding, hire them! Chase was our dj and was literal perfection! He had perfect timing and played an amazing playlist! Everyone had an absolute blast! We also purchased a photo booth and it was a huge hit with guests!

When we were looking at DJs, Mixology stood out to us because of their affordability. We wanted uplighting, a photobooth, a 360 booth, and a DJ for our reception which here in Charleston can be very pricey. We thought Roman's pricing was very reasonable, so we scheduled a call with him. From our first meeting he was so great at listening to what we were looking for and didn't want for our day and assured us he could deliver on our wild and all over the place requests. We had everything from country to pop punk, and had been struggling to find djs who could match what we were looking for. We were admittedly a little nervous that for the price point we might get a sub-par service but we were incredibly delighted to find that Roman was amazing. His mixes the night of our wedding were OUT OF THIS WORLD! I'm a wedding planner and hear the same playlist over and over and can tell you that I have never heard some of the mixes Roman did. My guests went absolutely bananas over the transitions and mixes and the dance floor was absolutely packed the entire time. I don't know how he did it but he flawlessly got in every single one of our requests, and he knew I was a swiftie and managed to get so much Taylor Swift mixed in just for me! We had a great time and definitely recommend Mixology if you're not looking for the typical, run of the mill DJ. Thank you for making our night a huge party!!

From the beginning, Mixology was on top of communication and inquiring about our needs for our wedding. Roman scheduled several phone calls with us to make sure that we had everything we needed. When it came to the actual wedding, Roman absolutely crushed our reception! He played our requests and mixed in his own songs to create a perfect balance for our dance floor. Roman is absolutely amazing! He met with us in person to explain everything we needed and he had dinner with us in our first meeting. He is so communicative and personable. He is a wonderful DJ and hype man! He had everyone dancing and our entire wedding wouldn’t have been the same without him! He had excellent lighting and a Photo Booth our guests loved. He made sure to follow up with us after the wedding to receive all photos and video from the Photo Booth. He recommended and referred us to Mitch (our videographer) who was also absolutely wonderful to work with and made sure he was available for everything leading up to and after the wedding. Mitch was also super creative too and had great ideas / suggestions for our wedding video. I highly recommend Roman and Mitch for any event that requires a high level of fun! You will not be disappointed!!!

Mixology was AWESOME! They have a huge catalog and will find anything you want, if they don’t already have it. They were super easy to work with too. I wish I would have talked to my DJ a bit more prior to the week of the wedding just so I could make sure he had a solid grasp of the crowd we would have, and my own preferences, but he did a fantastic job with us only having one 10min conversation. My fiancé handled the DJ portion once I did the booking, so that was on him, not them!

If you are having a wedding get the photobooth it was so amazing! We appreciated everything Roman did for us from months before the wedding up to the day of. My wife and I were blown away by these guys! I actually heard Roman DJ'ing at a local spot last year and absolutely loved his music and the way he mixed! I asked if he did weddings and it was a pleasant surprise to hear that was his specialty. We immediately hired Mixology for out wedding and could not have been happier with the choice! Everything went exactly how we wanted it to.

Wow! Mixology blew our expectations out of the water. We loved all of the mixes and the music was always the perfect vibe for the moment. Most of all, our DJ Mikey was the nicest and most down to earth guy we've ever met, which made it so easy!

Roman is great! His kind, calm demeanor is easy to work with. When we booked him, I know that he had a tough job ahead of him - we had a very small wedding and a guest list with very few dancers. I worked with Roman with Mixology at a wedding recently and he had the crowd on their feet the whole time! He is very skilled at reading the crowd and mixing the music to the client’s taste. Mixology was the DJ at our wedding and it's funny, but with a wedding you only need a few good things....you need decent food, a good venue, great people and great music. I didn't realize how important the music factor was until that night. The music was fantastic and everyone danced the entire night away. Roman helped work with me on custom songs, he was on time and on point for everything. The next day I couldn't count the amount of people who asked who he was and talked about how fantastic he did. Roman was referred to me by my wedding planner, and I am so grateful for it! He was awesome in every way, professional, responsive, interactive, and he was able to create a night that exceeded our expectations. He drove over an hour to meet with me and and my planner. We talked about the vibe that we wanted to create and he executed it perfectly. I gave him a list of songs and he did a seamless job of choosing from those songs and others with the same feeling, creating mash ups, throwing in transitions, and creating a total party atmosphere. Some of my absolutes were no top 40, no line dances/group dances, and no country music. He followed all of this and was able to make our night the best party I’ve ever been to He provided excellent quality sound for the ceremony and the reception. Also, we used the cold spark machines and they were the coolest!! We are so lucky to have found Roman, and would refer him to absolutely anyone that is looking for a kick ass dj.

You will not find a more fun, attentive, hardworking DJ than Roman at Mixology. He met with my Husband and I twice before our wedding, both times he spent at LEAST an hour chatting with us, getting to know us and our music taste, and just generally hanging out. He truly made the entire process feel like we were having our wedding DJ’d by a friend. He’s honest, dedicated, prompt, and was one of the highlights of our wedding. We’ve had numerous guests reach out to us to let us know that the music was incredible. We gave Roman a playlist of songs we love, and he took that and ran with it! The dancing portion of our wedding was a big Early 2000s Pop/Rock/Punk party and we couldn’t have been happier with it. Roman was easy to get ahold of and answered all of our questions quickly! All in All an AMAZING vendor, DJ and business owner! Highly highly recommend him for any of your events, but especially your wedding!!!

Can't say enough great things about our DJ! We came into our wedding day already extremely excited, because we also hired Mixology to DJ our rehearsal dinner the night before. The plan was to just have some good background music playing, which was the case, until it gradually progressed into a full on dance party with our wedding party and family! The music knowledge they have is crazy. They went back into the 80's for our parents, and were combining that with some of the newer hits that we love! Awesome!

I almost want to get divorced, just so we can have another wedding. Wow! All of vendors did an excellent job, including our DJ Andrew. We older love punk rock and 90's throwbacks, and he was able to dig back and pull out songs that we totally forgot about. Great music knowledge!
