LaDarius is the best! He was the DJ and MC for our wedding reception, and we couldn't be more pleased with his attention to detail, organization, and keeping our party going. We asked for clean edits, music for an older crowd, and to help keep the flow of our events on track (announcements, first dances, cake cutting, toasts, ect.). DJ LaDarius was seriously the most hype, incredible, and professional wedding DJ we could have ever booked. Absolutely AMAZING! LaDarius was the first vendor we booked for our wedding, who came highly recommended from our wedding planner. He made the entire process so easy and everything went perfectly. We also booked the photo booth with him. He provides a link to view all the photos that were taken through the night, which made me so happy as we're waiting for our professional photos.

We got introduced to LaDarius by our wedding coordinator, and we are so, so thankful that we got to work with him! He immediately made us feel comfortable and made the entire booking process super easy. He was super receptive what we had in mind for our day (we aren’t big-entrance-announcement/center of attention type of people and decided not to do some of the more heteronormative wedding traditions like the bouquet/garter toss), and he brought our reception together so well. He was great at guiding folks to where they needed to be and was a great resource, but was on the mic just enough so that it didn’t feel like he was talking over the party. He played such a great variety of songs, was really great about switching things up when he heard a lull, and absolutely turned the party! All of our guests, including our parents, couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful he was. LaDarius is a *professional* and we would recommend working with him to absolutely everyone!!

We had the wedding of our dreams and LaDarius helped make that happen. He was professional and fun to work with. His setup is very nice too! We gave him our Spotify list to learn our tastes and he took it from there. He spoke just the right amount to keep everything moving along and kept the dance floor full! My wife and I got married in June at Georgian Hall. LaDarius did an amazing job. First, and most importantly, the music was so good! We gave LaDarius a few songs we really wanted to hear on the D.J. form, told him about the make-up of our crowd, and he did the rest. Seriously, older guests, the wedding party, and kids were all dancing because he did a great job of blending and picking music everyone would enjoy. Second, LaDarius did our ceremony and made all of the announcements. He was charismatic and not “in your face” like I’ve seen at some weddings. It kept things classy. Third, LaDarius’s D.J. booth looked really clean and elegant, and he brought a change of clothes to match the vibe of the reception and our wedding. This was classy touch that we appreciated. Finally, LaDarius was extremely professional, on time, and just generally super prepared. Hiring LaDarius was worth every penny.

Ladarius was simply the best wedding dj we could have asked for! He’s so good at reading a room, the dance floor was packed all night. I still hear from guests how much fun they had and how great the set list was. Little do they know, there was no set list, but an extremely awesome and intuitive dj. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Highly recommend! MixWire was professional, kept the party vibe up, and had an excellent photo booth! I commend our DJ LaDarius for taking recommendations from my family when it came to finding popular Persian music for the crowd. He had some stuff as well, but my family being my family, they had to offer their own additions as well. They were able to do music both for our ceremony and reception. MixWire Productions was truly a HIT in more than just music for our wedding! LaDarius, the DJ, was amazing! He was thorough in our planning meetings, punctual, and professional. Ladarius was amazing! If you have any event where a DJ is required he’s the man! At this point in the wedding planning process, I was a little checked out and just let Ladarius choose what he felt fit the mood for the dancing and he hit it out the park. We just had LaDarius DJ our wedding and quick response is that he exceeded any expectations we ever had!! He helped with our ceremony as well, and as we were planning that wasn't even something we had thought about but I am so glad he's got the experience to make everything seamless. We had a pretty wide range of guests (ages and locations) and I mean it when I say I never left the dance floor! ◡̈ In my opinion, he was our host and made sure everything was running smoothly and most importantly, FUN! LaDarius made our reception a night to remember! Our dance floor was packed all night. He perfectly captured our taste and crafted the perfect flow of songs all night long. Countless guests commented about how great the music was! Behind the scenes, he was extremely organized, communicative, and helpful in bringing our big day to life. Originally, since our wedding was so small (36 guests) we planned on going the Spotify playlist route - but I can say without a doubt, MixWire productions truly MADE our reception a killer party. You will not be disappointed with MixWire as part of your big day. (p.s. I read in another review that all your guests will want to be best friends with LaDarius after the wedding - can confirm!!)

WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE LADARIUS AND MIXWIRE PRODUCTIONS! Not only did Ladarius provide AMAZING music throughout cocktail hour and the reception, he also was willing to create a "remix" father daughter dance for my dad and I, which everyone LOVED! Ladarius was able to create a custom logo to project on the wall of our venue and provided big foam glow sticks for the dance party! Ladarius is so easy to work with and is wonderful at communicating! He gave us an easy questionnaire to fill out once we booked with him and it helped us figure out what music choices we needed to make and when we couldn't decide he was able to help! Everyone should use Ladarius/MixWire Productions for every wedding/party! I definitely will use him again!

We could not be happier to have hired LaDarius for our wedding days (yes, multiple)! We came to him with a complicated request – a two-day destination wedding that incorporated Indian, Brazilian, and American culture into one event (with very opinionated families!). This meant we needed a lot of different music to feel like we were representing ourselves, our families, and our cultures, and LaDarius MADE IT HAPPEN. We wanted to do a surprise first dance with 3 different songs mixed together and he was more than happy to make that mix for us! All the Indian wedding elements were there – special music for the Sangeet, Baraat, and even dance performances from family and friends. LaDarius went above and beyond and carried his mobile setup up an incline for the Baraat! He wove all of that in so perfectly with Latin music as well as American music from the 90s and 2000s, that people did not stop dancing until 2am! LaDarius knows his music, listens to his clients, and delivers an amazing party atmosphere. Our guests are still telling us how this was the most fun wedding they have ever been to, and we have LaDarius to thank for that!

LaDarius with MixWire was AMAZING! The music selections were fantastic, the transitions between songs were seamless, and he did a great job announcing the night's events. My husband and I were looking for someone who could play songs to get people from a range of generations up and dancing, and we were also looking for someone who could play songs that we could do ballroom, latin, and swing dances to that would still be recognizable and fun to sing along to. LaDarius played a great variety of songs with very little direction from us, and he had our guests dancing all night.

We had a beautiful downtown Chicago wedding and LaDarius was so helpful and responsive leading up to the event, including through postponement due to covid (he even did some virtual DJ events for us which were awesome.) The music, production, and photo booth (big crowd pleaser) were top notch. He also very professionally worked with some family members who wanted to play live music at our wedding. There were several guests asking who our DJ was for their future events and many people overall complimenting how spectacular of a job he did. Would 100% recommend!
