nd ready on time. What an amazing team of hair and makeup professionals we had the pleasure of working with. We started with makeup and hair trials in July with Cait Ricci for makeup and Ashley Rendino for hair. We met with them in New Jersey and were absolutely wowed by the results and the service. Both Ashley and Cait were incredibly knowledgeable about their craft while also being warm and personable. They took the time to really understand the vision my now-wife and I had for our looks. I wanted full glam makeup and a fairy-like high ponytail half-up style with mixed braids. My wife wanted something super natural since she never wears makeup, and simple hair that would make her still feel like herself despite being all done up. Cait and Ashley delivered all of that and then some. On the wedding day, the team was upbeat and helped create such a positive atmosphere in both bridal getting ready suites. Ashley and Cait asked us questions about the wedding and how we met, and it really felt like they genuinely wanted to get to know us. The makeup lasted all day and night without any touch-ups needed, which was such a relief. Many of my bridal party members raved about how beautiful their makeup by Cait and the team was and how they felt so beautiful. I had beaded weft hair extensions, and Ashley was able to work with them seamlessly—my hair looked absolutely perfect. I also had three rainbow clip-in extensions to add for the reception, and Ashley generously took it upon herself to curl them to match my styled curls, then brushed them out and made them photograph ready. She really went above and beyond for me. Even after the wedding, Ashley stayed in touch and posted photos of us on her Instagram, which was so thoughtful and sweet. All this to say, I highly recommend MJ Bridal Artistry for your wedding day needs. They exceeded our expectations in every way, and I couldn’t give them a higher endorsement. I used hair extensions for my wedding day and the artist blended them so seamlessly. I was so nervous my natural hair wouldn't blend or stay curled but it lasted all night long! (even through the after party) I'm so happy with how everything turned out. I wish there was a touch more communication as things got closer to the date. I found myself reaching out to them to confirm trial times and even the timeline for the wedding day. As a bride, there is so much to remember and there are a lot of vendors to keep up with, it would have been nice to have them reach out first. Overall, a great experience!

I had Yuliia for hair and Caitlyn for make-up and they were both masters at what they do, so sweet, were so easy to work with, and most importantly my girls and I could not have looked better on wedding day. I also had an additional hair (Erica) and make-up artist (Patty), which I HIGHLY recommend adding. This made wedding day feel very calm, relaxed, non-rushed, and ensured we did not have a ridiculous start time (do this for your girls!). Both additional artists were awesome!

ted. My bridesmaids were throughly impressed and said it was the best hair/makeup that they’ve had in a wedding. They made both my mom and mother in law feel beautiful and comfortable even though they don’t wear a lot of makeup on the day to day. Melissa was able to take my pin straight hair and create the Hollywood glam waves of my dreams that actually held ALL NIGHT! I knew they were going to do a good job but they were beyond my expectations! Not only did they do a great job on everyone’s hair and makeup but were so fun to chat with and brought great energy for the morning of the wedding! I would 100% recommend them!!

do such amazing work. Both of them did my trial and were so good with communication and make my vision come alive. I did my trial for my shower and ended up changing a few things for my wedding day which I 1000% recommend doing a trial to see how you like it, how it photographs and makes you look. Both were able to be flexible to change things day of and make me feel sooo beautiful. I had Danielle stay and do a hair change for the party which I 10000% recommend it was so fun. The only down we had was day of trial Melissa had a booking issue/communication issue however Melissa handled the situation very well and professional during a stressful time. I would recommend this team!

killed it. Both lasted all night long and I couldn’t have been happier with the end results! Melissa and Danielle also were there to assist in the 9 other girls who needed services and every single one of my girls LOOKED AMAZING, no issues no complaints, nothing. We had a timeline to be done services around 1-1:30p and they were done just before 1pm. Could not recommend this company enough , they were such a fun group of women to join in on my day. We jammed out to 90/2000s throwback jams all morning long and it was the perfect way to start the day! Thank you so much ladies I’m forever grateful I found you guys!

n Instagram one day and was determined to book them. Not very many people can pull off the look a bride is going for, and to see Melissa and her wonderful crew nail every single bridal look was phenomenal. I was very nervous going into my makeup trial because I was limited on time and I knew that I was not too worried about my hair, but very picky about my face. I walked in and met Melissa, and all my worries melted away. She made me feel warm and welcome, as well as my FIL who was driving me around for all of my appointments during my visit. She executed the exact look I was going for, and I was confident enough that I didn't even have her do my hair trial, my makeup trial was perfect enough. The day of the wedding, Melissa was there, along with 2 of her counterparts (both named Danielle) who then began working on all of my bridesmaids. Everyone got their hair and makeup done and we were finished in record time. The lack of stress and so much ease that filled the room was incredible. Not for one second was I stressed about the wedding while sitting there, even with asking Melissa for a slight change on my hairstyle the day of. I still keep in contact with Melissa and Danielle from that day. They were such a breath of fresh air, and I couldn't have been luckier to have them in my life. They were worth every penny, and I couldn't recommend them enough.

nted to help make my dreams come true! I was fortunate enough to get my hair and make up done by MJ's team twice as a Maid of Honor and at my own wedding! Both times, they were spectacular! I was soooo happy and received numerous compliments about my hair and makeup. For my wedding, I was blessed with Jeanette for my hair and Ida for my makeup! I cannot recommend both of these amazing women enough!!! Jeanette listened to everything I wanted for my wedding day hair. Jeanette was extremely patient, kind, and creative! She absolutely made me feel special on my wedding day and styled my hair exactly as I wanted it! She also helped me to choose a hair piece, explaining what I needed to look for! She was always willing to answer my questions and help me throughout the process! Erica was also with us the day of the wedding and truly took her time to listen to what the girls in my bridal party wanted for their hair styles! They looked incredible and everyone was so happy with how Erica styled their hair! Ida is equally amazing! My makeup blew me away! Even though I am not used to wearing as much makeup, I still felt like myself and comfortable with what she created..it was stunning! She took her time and even helped during pictures to make sure everything still looked great!! Patty also did an amazing job on makeup for the bridal party! Everyone looked phenomenal thanks to Patty and Ida! I received so many compliments from my family and friends at the wedding about how incredible my hair and makeup looked! I could not have asked for anyone better to be there on my special day and help myself, my mom, mother-in-law, and bridal party look incredible! Thank you for helping to make this the best day ever!!

Every single girl in my wedding party said they have never felt/looked more beautiful. After seeing MJ's portfolio and asking around - I had to have them for my wedding!!! I wish I could have them do my make up everyday! Very professional , right on time the day of, quick to respond to emails leading up to the big day...I could not have asked for anything more. my hair and was an absolute dream. Seriously cannot recommend her enough! For starters, at my trial she went above and beyond and trimmed a few pieces of my hair that weren’t blended in the back. Day of the wedding she was early to get set up and ready to go right on time. My one bridesmaid who has ethnic hair was VERY apprehensive about having her hair done by someone other than her usual stylist due to fear of damaging her hair. Jeanette was able to talk her through everything and calm her nerves. My bridesmaid was so happy with how Jeanette approached everything and how beautiful her hair turned out! For my own hair - I have a lot of it and 22” extensions. My hair was perfection!! It was everything I imagined it to be- romantic/bohemian vibes! Ida did a wonderful job on my makeup and I got many compliments all night! She is incredibly talented with her makeup skills! However, this wasn’t my favorite vendor experience. For my trial at her home, she was only available on weekdays (pretty sure just Monday’s&Tuesday’s). We didn’t get started with the trial until about 20 minutes after I arrived due to her setting up her kids with breakfast/their iPads. Her children were legitimately running circles around the kitchen and makeup chair at one point..Not exactly my ideal situation when you’re paying $150+ to have your makeup done on a Tuesday . Day of the wedding she was also late (I think 45 mins late?) and everything felt rushed.

dating. They reached out to me to schedule my trial- I used Natalie and Brittany. They both made me feel so beautiful, listened to my ideas, and helped make changes that I suggested. They sent an amazing timeline that helped keep my whole bridal party organized. I got married on 10/7/2022. On the wedding day we had Natalie for makeup, Brittany for hair, and Danielle for hair and makeup as well. All of my girls and both MOG and MOB had nothing but compliments and felt gorgeous. They even did touch ups on the girls before they left! I literally have never felt more beautiful in my life! I could not recommend them more!! ❤️

iends! All my friends were so happy :) Lexie was so professional and used amazing high quality makeup that did not make my skin break out. She is not pushy at all and she listens to all my concerns. She found the best formula for my extremely greasy skin and I did not look cakey at all. I was so happy with my wedding makeup! All I had to do was give her feedback from my makeup trial and I got exactly what I wanted. She is such a professional! Dana was amazing at styling my hair! I used extensions as Dana suggested to get the glam waves and I am so glad I listened to her. No one could tell I was wearing extensions and they blended in so nicely with my real hair. Even in the August heat and humidity, my curls lasted all day! I am so happy with the results. Thank you so much!

Their portfolios and Instagram accounts speak for themselves, but seeing the range of their talents the "day of" absolutely blew me away: I wanted full glam, my mom hardly wears makeup and wanted something that would last but looked natural, and my MOH/bridesmaids all wanted different styles ... Melissa and Brittany nailed each and every look flawlessly. Pro-tip ... I also booked Melissa for touchups throughout the day (from first look to right before the ceremony) ...hand down, best decision ever. Not only did she take each opportunity to fix any flyaways (outdoor photos!) and touch up my lips/face ... but she totally went above and beyond and helped me with the train of my dress, making sure my veil was right, and even taking lots of behind the scenes shots/videos so I could get a sneak peek of how the day came together ... beyond thoughtful! I could go on and on ... but if MJ Bridal Artistry is available for you event, do yourself a favor and grab them!!
