MJ Bridal Artistry

portfolio and I’m so happy I did. Not only is she amazing at her craft, she made me feel comfortable and able to voice all of my thoughts and concerns. She was incredible to work with and the results speak for themselves. I truly, truly loved my make up and felt so beautiful. I felt like myself, just enhanced, which was so important to me. The make up photographed beautifully. I couldn’t have envisioned anything more perfect. Her time and care showed. Thank you for giving me the make up of my bridal dreams!

nd ready on time. What an amazing team of hair and makeup professionals we had the pleasure of working with. We started with makeup and hair trials in July with Cait Ricci for makeup and Ashley Rendino for hair. We met with them in New Jersey and were absolutely wowed by the results and the service. Both Ashley and Cait were incredibly knowledgeable about their craft while also being warm and personable. They took the time to really understand the vision my now-wife and I had for our looks. I wanted full glam makeup and a fairy-like high ponytail half-up style with mixed braids. My wife wanted something super natural since she never wears makeup, and simple hair that would make her still feel like herself despite being all done up. Cait and Ashley delivered all of that and then some. On the wedding day, the team was upbeat and helped create such a positive atmosphere in both bridal getting ready suites. Ashley and Cait asked us questions about the wedding and how we met, and it really felt like they genuinely wanted to get to know us. The makeup lasted all day and night without any touch-ups needed, which was such a relief. Many of my bridal party members raved about how beautiful their makeup by Cait and the team was and how they felt so beautiful. I had beaded weft hair extensions, and Ashley was able to work with them seamlessly—my hair looked absolutely perfect. I also had three rainbow clip-in extensions to add for the reception, and Ashley generously took it upon herself to curl them to match my styled curls, then brushed them out and made them photograph ready. She really went above and beyond for me. Even after the wedding, Ashley stayed in touch and posted photos of us on her Instagram, which was so thoughtful and sweet. All this to say, I highly recommend MJ Bridal Artistry for your wedding day needs. They exceeded our expectations in every way, and I couldn’t give them a higher endorsement. al and personable. Both were so calm and reassuring during the entire process, and really made me feel comfortable on such a stressful day. I booked both of them for my wedding trial and also my bridal shower, so by the time of the wedding I felt super comfortable and confident in them! They not only made me feel beautiful, but my bridesmaids and moms as well. Everyone was so happy with their services. I would book MJbridal again and recommend to everyone!

ted, they made me feel comfortable and cared for, and when I saw the final look, I actually cried—I felt so beautiful. My makeup was flawless, my hair was perfect. Everything lasted all day and night (even through hours of dancing!). They both have such incredible talent and attention to detail, and they truly made me feel like the best version of myself. I’m so grateful for their artistry and professionalism. If you’re looking for hair and makeup that will make you feel gorgeous, confident, and photo-ready from morning until the very last song, MJ Bridal Artistry is who you chose for your wedding day!

nt on my day. She is organized, thoughtful and so talented. Everyone was so happy with how their hair turned out. Not kidding so many people said "omg you hair looks stunning!!"

for being so accommodating towards me and making me feel comfortable when it came to wearing wedding makeup. She is professional but also personable and I truly loved working with her. She made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt, as well as doing the same to my bridal party and moms. My bridesmaids could not stop glowing from the work her and her second artist did. It was a beautiful day!

nd requests and Melissa and Erica did not hesitate to answer all of them and help my dream look come to life! I can’t thank MJ Bridal Artistry enough!

day. She took her time and listen to what I wanted for the wedding day. It turned out even better than I could have imagined. I used hair extensions for my wedding day and the artist blended them so seamlessly. I was so nervous my natural hair wouldn't blend or stay curled but it lasted all night long! (even through the after party) I'm so happy with how everything turned out. I wish there was a touch more communication as things got closer to the date. I found myself reaching out to them to confirm trial times and even the timeline for the wedding day. As a bride, there is so much to remember and there are a lot of vendors to keep up with, it would have been nice to have them reach out first. Overall, a great experience!

ght my makeup dream to life! I’ve never felt prettier than I did on my wedding day. And not only me, all my bridesmaids lived their makeup and were so happy to have someone there that made them feel themselves but even prettier. I can’t say enough great things just book her! She will make all your dreams come true!

ng had some subpar services elsewhere in the past. Nothing to worry about with this team! I had Yuliia for hair and Caitlyn for make-up and they were both masters at what they do, so sweet, were so easy to work with, and most importantly my girls and I could not have looked better on wedding day. I also had an additional hair (Erica) and make-up artist (Patty), which I HIGHLY recommend adding. This made wedding day feel very calm, relaxed, non-rushed, and ensured we did not have a ridiculous start time (do this for your girls!). Both additional artists were awesome!

be a part of my wedding day. Melissa will not steer you the wrong way at all and I have always let her do her own thing with my hair and make up and it never disappoints and she’s extremely trustworthy and professional . The day of my wedding I never felt so happy with the outcome of my bridal hair and make up everything was a dream came true! I 100% recommend booking with Melissa and her team you will not be disappointed I promise!

edding, Melissa and her team were so thorough, responsive and professional. Melissa did my bridal hair and makeup and perfectly executed the look I had been dreaming of. Amber and Erica accompanied Melissa the morning of my wedding and helped my sisters, cousin, Mom and mother in law feel SO comfortable and beautiful. We had so much fun and my entire party continues to rave about how amazingly chill our morning went. All three of these ladies took everything we said into consideration and there was no stupid question or request. The compliments we received were endless all night long and our hair and makeup lasted until the very last second! Thank you so much MJ Bridal Artistry, I am recommending you to all my friends and family looking to be glammed up for their wedding day! xoxo

ted. My bridesmaids were throughly impressed and said it was the best hair/makeup that they’ve had in a wedding. They made both my mom and mother in law feel beautiful and comfortable even though they don’t wear a lot of makeup on the day to day. Melissa was able to take my pin straight hair and create the Hollywood glam waves of my dreams that actually held ALL NIGHT! I knew they were going to do a good job but they were beyond my expectations! Not only did they do a great job on everyone’s hair and makeup but were so fun to chat with and brought great energy for the morning of the wedding! I would 100% recommend them!!

dly online portal and timely reminders. Everyone's hair looked amazing, and my bridal party unanimously agreed it was the best bridal party hair we've ever seen!

so talented, and made me feel absolutely stunning!

ear flash lashes ever and I could barely feel them on the big day! I went with a different hair style on the day of than my trial last minute, decided to do half up so more hair would be out of my face- Ashley absolutely supported my last minute switch and did an amazing job my hair looked just how i wanted it to. My mom and MIL had both services and looked phenomenal. I couldn’t recommend MJ Bridal artistry more!! Book them!!

n to detail was great and everyone looked beautiful. I picked MJ Bridal team for Natalie's makeup. I saw her style on Instagram and knew I had to book it! I really wanted natural glam and I was SO happy with my experience!!! I changed absolutely nothing from the trial, that's how much I loved it!! Lexie was our 2nd artist and was also fabulous!!!! Thank you to this AMAZING team!!!!!!

ardom. Melissa knows how to make you feel and look beautiful. I’m so grateful for her friendship and her talent. Thanks for making me feel like a goddess for my engagement shoot, shower, and wedding Meliss. let’s go back to Newport? xoxo a forever fan

do such amazing work. Both of them did my trial and were so good with communication and make my vision come alive. I did my trial for my shower and ended up changing a few things for my wedding day which I 1000% recommend doing a trial to see how you like it, how it photographs and makes you look. Both were able to be flexible to change things day of and make me feel sooo beautiful. I had Danielle stay and do a hair change for the party which I 10000% recommend it was so fun. The only down we had was day of trial Melissa had a booking issue/communication issue however Melissa handled the situation very well and professional during a stressful time. I would recommend this team!

deo team the day of as well, which made the day start off seamlessly. Every single member of the bridal party was in love with their hair and make-up and I could not recommend them enough!!

ayments, choosing stylists, trails, the schedule, day of process - EVERYTHING was so easy and smooth always! It was such a relief! They were truly a pleasure to work with. I would recommend their team and ANY of their stylists to anybody!!! 10/10. THANK YOU!

e being personable and engaging! The whole team was super punctual and ready to get right to work, all while having positive attitudes and smiles on their faces. I had no doubts when booking and would absolutely recommend @mjbridalartistry to anyone in a heartbeat! I couldn’t have asked for a better team and will definitely be booking for all my hair and makeup needs moving forward !!! Thank you soo much for being such a huge part of my special day!

early, even with 11 girls getting both services!

killed it. Both lasted all night long and I couldn’t have been happier with the end results! Melissa and Danielle also were there to assist in the 9 other girls who needed services and every single one of my girls LOOKED AMAZING, no issues no complaints, nothing. We had a timeline to be done services around 1-1:30p and they were done just before 1pm. Could not recommend this company enough , they were such a fun group of women to join in on my day. We jammed out to 90/2000s throwback jams all morning long and it was the perfect way to start the day! Thank you so much ladies I’m forever grateful I found you guys!

we were done EARLY with time to relax before photos. Ida did my makeup, and Ashley did my hair. I felt like a stunning bride all day/night long!

e… I can honestly say that all 10 girls (including myself) asked for a more natural look, and they delivered!!! They were both fast, efficient, and offered touch ups for anyone that had a concern. I thought everyone’s makeup looked better than I could’ve imagined. I was hesitant to book due to the price, but it was sooo worth it!!! Thank you Cait & Melissa!! Pictures from wedding night & makeup trial

n Instagram one day and was determined to book them. Not very many people can pull off the look a bride is going for, and to see Melissa and her wonderful crew nail every single bridal look was phenomenal. I was very nervous going into my makeup trial because I was limited on time and I knew that I was not too worried about my hair, but very picky about my face. I walked in and met Melissa, and all my worries melted away. She made me feel warm and welcome, as well as my FIL who was driving me around for all of my appointments during my visit. She executed the exact look I was going for, and I was confident enough that I didn't even have her do my hair trial, my makeup trial was perfect enough. The day of the wedding, Melissa was there, along with 2 of her counterparts (both named Danielle) who then began working on all of my bridesmaids. Everyone got their hair and makeup done and we were finished in record time. The lack of stress and so much ease that filled the room was incredible. Not for one second was I stressed about the wedding while sitting there, even with asking Melissa for a slight change on my hairstyle the day of. I still keep in contact with Melissa and Danielle from that day. They were such a breath of fresh air, and I couldn't have been luckier to have them in my life. They were worth every penny, and I couldn't recommend them enough.

nted to help make my dreams come true! I was fortunate enough to get my hair and make up done by MJ's team twice as a Maid of Honor and at my own wedding! Both times, they were spectacular! I was soooo happy and received numerous compliments about my hair and makeup. For my wedding, I was blessed with Jeanette for my hair and Ida for my makeup! I cannot recommend both of these amazing women enough!!! Jeanette listened to everything I wanted for my wedding day hair. Jeanette was extremely patient, kind, and creative! She absolutely made me feel special on my wedding day and styled my hair exactly as I wanted it! She also helped me to choose a hair piece, explaining what I needed to look for! She was always willing to answer my questions and help me throughout the process! Erica was also with us the day of the wedding and truly took her time to listen to what the girls in my bridal party wanted for their hair styles! They looked incredible and everyone was so happy with how Erica styled their hair! Ida is equally amazing! My makeup blew me away! Even though I am not used to wearing as much makeup, I still felt like myself and comfortable with what she created..it was stunning! She took her time and even helped during pictures to make sure everything still looked great!! Patty also did an amazing job on makeup for the bridal party! Everyone looked phenomenal thanks to Patty and Ida! I received so many compliments from my family and friends at the wedding about how incredible my hair and makeup looked! I could not have asked for anyone better to be there on my special day and help myself, my mom, mother-in-law, and bridal party look incredible! Thank you for helping to make this the best day ever!!

and her squad are the best. I felt like a true bridal princess on my wedding day. MJ's talent is UNREAL. She is a true ARTIST. Every single girl in my wedding party said they have never felt/looked more beautiful. After seeing MJ's portfolio and asking around - I had to have them for my wedding!!! I wish I could have them do my make up everyday! Very professional , right on time the day of, quick to respond to emails leading up to the big day...I could not have asked for anything more. Thank you MJ and her beauty squad for making my bridal glam dreams come true!!!

my hair and was an absolute dream. Seriously cannot recommend her enough! For starters, at my trial she went above and beyond and trimmed a few pieces of my hair that weren’t blended in the back. Day of the wedding she was early to get set up and ready to go right on time. My one bridesmaid who has ethnic hair was VERY apprehensive about having her hair done by someone other than her usual stylist due to fear of damaging her hair. Jeanette was able to talk her through everything and calm her nerves. My bridesmaid was so happy with how Jeanette approached everything and how beautiful her hair turned out! For my own hair - I have a lot of it and 22” extensions. My hair was perfection!! It was everything I imagined it to be- romantic/bohemian vibes! Ida did a wonderful job on my makeup and I got many compliments all night! She is incredibly talented with her makeup skills! However, this wasn’t my favorite vendor experience. For my trial at her home, she was only available on weekdays (pretty sure just Monday’s&Tuesday’s). We didn’t get started with the trial until about 20 minutes after I arrived due to her setting up her kids with breakfast/their iPads. Her children were legitimately running circles around the kitchen and makeup chair at one point..Not exactly my ideal situation when you’re paying $150+ to have your makeup done on a Tuesday . Day of the wedding she was also late (I think 45 mins late?) and everything felt rushed.

dating. They reached out to me to schedule my trial- I used Natalie and Brittany. They both made me feel so beautiful, listened to my ideas, and helped make changes that I suggested. They sent an amazing timeline that helped keep my whole bridal party organized. I got married on 10/7/2022. On the wedding day we had Natalie for makeup, Brittany for hair, and Danielle for hair and makeup as well. All of my girls and both MOG and MOB had nothing but compliments and felt gorgeous. They even did touch ups on the girls before they left! I literally have never felt more beautiful in my life! I could not recommend them more!! ❤️

iends! All my friends were so happy :) Lexie was so professional and used amazing high quality makeup that did not make my skin break out. She is not pushy at all and she listens to all my concerns. She found the best formula for my extremely greasy skin and I did not look cakey at all. I was so happy with my wedding makeup! All I had to do was give her feedback from my makeup trial and I got exactly what I wanted. She is such a professional! Dana was amazing at styling my hair! I used extensions as Dana suggested to get the glam waves and I am so glad I listened to her. No one could tell I was wearing extensions and they blended in so nicely with my real hair. Even in the August heat and humidity, my curls lasted all day! I am so happy with the results. Thank you so much!

idity. Most of us usually don’t wear makeup, but during my trial Natalie listened to my ideas while also offering professional input and taking feedback to help me decide how I wanted my makeup to look. She did the same for my party, listening to their wants and needs and made us all look and feel amazing. She was also just such a calm and friendly presence on the morning of the wedding, and it made me feel so much calmer while sitting and having my makeup done while so many other things are going on. Book MJ Bridal Artistry you will not be disappointed!!

d all the curls held all night long. Ida made everyone feel their best. We all were so, so happy!

ten to and do what I asked for, but they were so sweet and easy to work with! Both trials were like meeting a new friend, chatting the whole time and instantly making me feel comfortable. They were both incredibly professional and went above and beyond to communicate with me over the last year before my wedding day. Thank you for making me look and feel beautiful! And shout out to Jeanette who came to help with hair the day of the wedding - also so nice and talented!

ing! The whole MJ team was so organized and ensured the day went smoothly. Anitra did my makeup and I genuinely felt so beautiful while also feeling like myself. From my trial to my wedding day, Anitra was so responsive and receptive to the look I wanted to achieve. I could not be happier with the results and would highly recommend them to any bride!

stunning. And Natalia and Ida are so kind and sweet on top of it all! 10/10 recommend booking for your wedding!

ing hands. Everyone that was part of the glam squad for my big day was amazing. I had 2 girls in my bridal party that are former NFL cheerleaders that are accustomed to being glammed up, and even they were impressed with the team!! Thank you so much to MJ Bridal Artistry for making me feel so beautiful on the best day of my life!

for makeup and Brittany for hair for my wedding last week ... both ladies are outrageously talented. Their portfolios and Instagram accounts speak for themselves, but seeing the range of their talents the "day of" absolutely blew me away: I wanted full glam, my mom hardly wears makeup and wanted something that would last but looked natural, and my MOH/bridesmaids all wanted different styles ... Melissa and Brittany nailed each and every look flawlessly. Pro-tip ... I also booked Melissa for touchups throughout the day (from first look to right before the ceremony) ...hand down, best decision ever. Not only did she take each opportunity to fix any flyaways (outdoor photos!) and touch up my lips/face ... but she totally went above and beyond and helped me with the train of my dress, making sure my veil was right, and even taking lots of behind the scenes shots/videos so I could get a sneak peek of how the day came together ... beyond thoughtful! I could go on and on ... but if MJ Bridal Artistry is available for you event, do yourself a favor and grab them!!

d my girls feel like absolute queens on my big day. They are professional, prompt, and know their stuff from the perfect products, lashes, extensions, and how to keep you looking glamorous all day long.

p artist no show, so Natalie did all 8 women in under 4 hours. It was a difficult situation, but Natalie saved the day. They are all incredibly talented. They enhance your natural beauty and I felt like they could bring any style to life. I am so glad they were part of my wedding day!
