I had an awful experience with Marie (owner). Our first conversation was very informative and I took a lot of notes. I was using her bartending services and wanted some advice on how much alcohol to buy. She answered all of my questions, it was... great. Then, we emailed a few times and I started noticing things were off with her when her emails were unprofessional and words were spelled in correctly. My gut was telling me to cancel our contract. I reached out to Marie 40 days prior to my wedding asking for a full refund of my deposit for her services. Per out contract, I was entitled to get my full refund. Marie fed me a few excuses. Told me she sent the refund and I just hadn't gotten it. A WHOLE MONTH went by with no refund. I reached out to square.com and they informed me that she never sent a refund and had been lying to me for a month. I went on a few websites and read horror stories from other couples having these same issues with Marie. I ended up having to file a claim with my bank to get my money back. Communication was poor and I do not appreciate being lied to. I am so happy I trusted my gut and decided to not work with Marie any longer. It is already stressful enough planning a wedding and to have to deal with this a month before my wedding and finding another bartender, was unfortunate and and added stress.
