Melissa was so amazing and really made all my wedding visions come to life. With just a few pictures she completely understood what I wanted and was looking for. Her and her assistant really busted their butts setting up and just made everything look so perfect. So much goes into all the flowers and centerpieces and I saw it all come to life right in front of my eyes. They are so wonderful and talented. Melissa exceeded my expectations. I had the typical COVID wedding story, planning then re-planning. After my first scheduled wedding in Chicago was canceled I frantically let Melissa now that we had to reschedule to St. Joseph, Michigan. She did not hesitate to offer to travel as well as tailor my vision to my new space. The flowers were beautiful and everything I dreamed of. Melissa was fantastic! After the first time speaking to her I felt super comfortable with her; she listened well and had wonderful suggestions. Her proposals were detailed and prompt. She was quick to respond to any questions I had. I did not officially see any of my florals before the wedding but let me tell you, they blew me away! Everything 100% exceeded my expectations. My husband and I chose Melissa for our wedding immediately after the first call with her. Looking at florists online can be daunting and confusing especially as a couple that had no prior ideas of what we wanted, all the photos were gorgeous and it was hard narrowing options down. From start to finish, Melissa did a wonderful job with our flowers for our dark and romantic wedding on Halloween weekend. From our first meeting, I knew that she would bring the idea that I had envisioned for my wedding. We would highly recommend her for any event that you want to have flowers/floral arrangements that speak for themselves. Melissa was quick to respond whenever I had questions and made the delivery/receiving of flowers the day of easy (one less thing we had to worry about). Our backdrop for our wedding was a rental that MKuzma assembled and broke down that was the perfect piece behind us as we took our vows. She also suggested the venue of where we could take pictures when ours fell through due to the weather. She truly brought to life the dream I had of dark flowers with a romantic unique feel. Melissa is amazing florist I had a wedding for 150 people and she did all my centerpieces I wanted highs and lows, she did my head table centerpiece that cascaded all the way down the head table and she did my ceremony flowers as well as my cocktail table flowers and my bridal and bridesmaid flowers honestly Melissa is a gem to work with and absolutely amazing. She was so easy to work with she understood my vision and executed it beautifully she even recommended flowers that will complement my dusty blue wedding theme and she incorporated Harry Potter flowers for my wedding theme. I could not recommend her more honestly if you’re looking for a good florist please contact her she is so professional and does an absolutely breathtaking amazing job. The flowers she did for my wedding lasted for weeks and they smelled so amazing.

Breathtaking! That's what is was like to enter for the ceremony and see the arrangements Melissa and her team put together. Working with her was very easy and right away she understood what I was looking for in terms of mood and color. The table centerpieces, mantel piece decor, and other arrangements really brought my wedding vision to life. We had many compliments from our guests as well.

From the moment I first talked to Melissa I knew I wanted to work with her. She not only was extremely patient, kind, and professional, but I felt she was asking all the right questions to make my wedding vision a reality. And let me tell you - it truly became reality. The floral and decor was SO breathtakingly beautiful and was something I will always cherish. Choosing wedding vendors can be very daunting - many times you won’t know if they will live up to the expectations of their reviews until the day of the wedding. MKuzma Designs EXCEEDED expectations and I can’t recommend working with her enough. I received so many compliments on the floral and overall aesthetic of the event and it was all thanks to Melissa and her team. In my opinion, my floral choices were more unconventional (White orchids, palm leaves, banana leaves, etc.) I was very nervous for the turnout as I didn’t have picture examples of exactly what I wanted. This is when you know you have found true talent - when your florist can make your dreams come true just by listening and asking questions. The day after my wedding - I seriously cried knowing my bouquet,floral swags and centerpieces would not live forever and googled for hours how to preserve as much as possible. Melissa - I can’t thank you enough. You were exceptional from the start. You were so responsive and answered every phone call. Created the most stunning mood board with my floral vision. And you were one of the few vendors who were very respectful and worked so hard to keep things within my budget. The entire event was stunning and it was all thanks to you!

I cannot recommend her enough! She did a phenomenal job making my Pinterest dream into a reality. The floral arrangements really made the entire venue look complete. I am so grateful at her art and her flexibility. 10/10 WORTH IT

I highly recommend Melissa for your wedding or event! She was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Melissa was very quick to respond which was so important with planning a last minute wedding. She walked through my loose vision for our flowers, offered great suggestions, and executed it perfectly. From the center pieces, to the bouquets and boutonnieres, each arrangement was absolutely beautiful!

Amazing! She has a very rare and wonderful gift with flowers. Her arrangements are absolutely stunning. She is also very upfront about cost and what you get. Most florists are not very honest about how many stems they will actually put in your bouquet. They end up using a lot of filler in order to keep the cost down. Unfortunately that means very ordinary looking bouquets. If you give her a budget she will work very hard to keep you in that budget. However, she will make sure you understand upfront exactly what the bouquets will look like. She will also offer creative solutions when you want something that's wildly expensive and cannot afford. She gives you your dream wedding of celebrity wedding tier flowers without having to go into debt to get them.

Wow. All I can say is wow. Planning a wedding and having Corona hit, and obviously not in a good way, was a fairly stressful experience. But not when it came to my flowers!!! Melissa was on top of every detail. In contact with suppliers and me discussing what was available and what might not be available due to closures and protesting. I trusted her fully to deliver the product she is known for- artistic perfection, and she delivered!!! My bouquet, the other bouquets, floral arrangements, boutonnieres and corsages were exquisite and everything I could have ever hoped for. She is professional and prompt and so incredibly caring. I may need to have flowers again for our delayed reception... and I will totally use her if she is available! Well worth every penny and more.

Melissa is an absolute dream! She is extremely friendly, easy to work with, and very approachable. I changed my mind a million times, sent her countless emails, and even had to add a few more centerpiece arrangements the week of my wedding - none of this seemed to phase her and was very professional through it all. She constantly reassured me that she understood my vision and would do whatever needed to be done to make it a reality. She even volunteered to meet me at my venue and bring a sample flower arrangement - this allowed us to see what linens would look best with the flowers and gave us a chance to nail down the final look of each table. This was an invaluable moment for me as I was able to get a glimpse of what the final product would look like. When Melissa delivered the flowers on my wedding day I was ecstatic! They turned out incredibly beautiful and even better than the photos I sent her as inspiration. We received so many compliments! Melissa is everything you want in a florist! She was able to deliver my DREAM flowers for my wedding! She worked with my budget, looked at my hundreds of pinterest pics i sent her, and dealt with my last minute add-ons. We could not have been any happier with our gorgeous flowers. Melissa's work fit the venue and the style we were going for perfectly. She is also the ultimate professional, answering any questions/concerns in a timely way, and can quickly adjust based on client desires (we asked her to decorate our rehearsal dinner space as well, and she delivered fully!). She far exceeded our already high expectations! We were stunned when we walked into the reception space for the first time! She can definitely pull off the "wow" factor! Highly recommend!

From the very beginning she is so kind and takes her time to getting to know you, your style, and what you like and don't like so she can create arrangements that are customized specifically for you. She is very knowledgeable, thorough in her work, and extremely creative. Also, she is so patient and willing to answer any questions you have in a timely manner (even if you feel like you are asking too many!). I kept telling everyone how much I appreciated her responsiveness whenever I would reach out to her! There was a time when we had to completely change our center pieces for our wedding and even though I was pretty worried at first, Melissa was so calm and collected and handled everything with such ease! Every single one of our floral arrangements, bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres turned out absolutely beautiful. She 100% nailed what we were going for and I believe she is able to do that because she truly loves what she is doing and cares about the people she is working with. If you work with Melissa, you will not be disappointed!

Melissa was able to figure out what I wanted in minutes. No fuss, on time, friendly with family and the flowers were PERFECT! I was so blessed to have her help us out and at a reasonable price for our reception. Her putting my mind at ease and the quality of the flowers was well worth every penny.

I cannot recommend MKuzma Designs enough. The owner and artist, Melissa, was wonderful to work with. I researched florists for weeks, met with four in person or over the phone (I talked to Melissa on the phone), and went with MKuzma based on the proposal I was sent (it was the closest to my then-incoherent vision and half the price of the nearest competitor, a large firm with offices in the city). When I say incoherent vision, I mean it - I wanted bright and tropical but not too over the top, I had a half-baked Pinterest with two different color schemes, I rattled off a bunch of names of flowers that don't really go together, etc. I was sort of nervous about how it would all come together, not least because I had no clue what I was doing. Over the months leading up to the wedding, Melissa contacted me now and then about ribbon colors, setup, etc., always in the friendliest and most professional manner, which helped ease my concerns, but I still didn't know what anything would look like. On my wedding day, Melissa showed up at the hotel with the most gorgeous bridal bouquet I have ever seen. It was, somehow, exactly what I wanted, despite not having explained it clearly at all. It also had every flower I mentioned for the bridal bouquet over the phone the previous March - including things that probably don't go together but somehow worked perfectly in the bouquet (orchids and calla lilies and roses, how?). The bridesmaids' bouquets were beautiful, and when we got to the venue, the floral arrangements worked perfectly in the space, which is a botanical garden and could have easily overpowered any florist's efforts, but didn't, because Melissa is just that good. In hindsight, the proposal she sent me several months prior reflected the flowers at the wedding almost exactly (factoring in changes we made along the way), so I could have known what everything would have looked like all along! In addition, she was just so delightful to work with - I did a lot of wedding planning from out of state (we moved just after getting engaged), so I didn't meet her in person until my wedding day, but I instantly thought we could have been friends. I'll stop here, but seriously, HIRE THIS FLORIST. It'll be the best of the many, many decisions you make all year!

I cannot say enough how blown away we were with MKuzma Designs. From start to finish Melissa was so helpful and professional. Even the venue coordinator was saying that she was impressed by how on top of things Melissa was. I found Melissa on the Knot after contacting other florists as well. The other florists had high minimum order requirements and were not as thoughtful with their proposals. After one phone call with Melissa, I was sold. She listened to me and made our wedding day so beautiful. When she delivered my bouquet to the suite as I was getting ready, all of us went on and on about how stunning it was. They were bold, bright, and whimsy while still being very elegant. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone. Thank you so much Melissa!

Melissa is the best of the best! She made the process so easy. I didn’t have a very clear vision of what I wanted so she took the little I had given her and completely exceeded my expectations! Her attention to detail was phenomenal and I love how everything turned out!

Melissa did a wedding for one of my friends many years ago. She didn't have many flowers (I believe only bouquets and boutonnières), but I remember them being absolutely breathtaking. Luckily my friend still had her information! I know I wanted a more personal touch when choosing flowers, so that's another reason why I wanted to go with a smaller company rather than a large floral shop. Melissa was professional, attentive, and gave me beautiful suggestions after I told her the types of flowers I wanted. Within a few days of our initial conversation, she provided me with a quote and the price was right where I wanted to be. She went a little higher just in case we added anything extra (which we did, so it worked out well). I had orange roses with purple filler in large fishbowls and submerged orange calla lilies in 3 different sized vases as my centerpieces. I had white roses and white and purple calla lilies as my bouquet and orange roses for my bridesmaids' bouquets. I was able to witness Melissa put everything together and I was amazed! She is one of the hardest workers that I've ever seen and she made sure everything was perfect! I was not worried for a second that I would have any issues. She kept me in the loop with everything and ran any questions she had by me in a very timely manner. My flowers were one of my favorite parts of my wedding. Thank you Melissa for being so great!

Melissa did an absolutely wonderful job with our florals. I think flowers or gorgeous but I don’t know enough to ask many by name or what is a good price I got price quotes hundreds of dollars over what Melissa gave me for less florals! I gave Melissa my general idea and she said me an inspiration with colors I had said I wanted. It was so beautiful and personal rather than the written quotes I got from other florists this gave me a visual idea! The flowers were better than I could have even expected they were so beautiful and I actually paid for my bouquet to be preserved. I couldn’t recommend Melissa enough. She was the best choice! I got married in 2016 and I still get complimented on how beautiful our flowers were for the wedding! They made a lasting impact and really tied the room together. I was and still am completely in love with my bouquet! Working with MKuzma Designs was a great experience, Melissa was so professional and sweet. Melissa quickly responded to my emails and was more than willing to work with me once a question or problem arose. She thoroughly listened to what we wanted and offered her own creative insight and suggestions to help meet our budget (which wasn't a lot). She truly brought our vision to life!! I would absolutely recommend her for your next event! She is a smaller (growing) business, but offers a personal touch to her designs that I believe sets her apart far from her competition.

I threw my daughter's wedding shower on Sunday, September 18th and was so happy with the flowers done by Melissa.  We had orange roses in fishbowls with purple filler.  They were arranged beautifully, all the guests loved them and were thrilled when we gave the centerpieces away as 'thank you's' for coming.
