ything was going smoothly and that I was keeping up with the well thought out timeline. Her recommendations and relationships with amazing vendors made decision making so much easier. When it came to the day of, she coordinated deliveries and set up so well and everything was beautiful. At the reception she brought my husband and I food, and made sure we were pleased with how things were going. She did such a good job of making sure everything was on track and running smoothly. Our day would not have been as successful or special without her organization and attention to detail. I can tell she really cares about making your wedding day as easy and stress-free as possible. lanned for over a year were not used (candles not lit, acrylic signs not out and they had to write directions on paper towels which looked really horrible, favors not out, guest book not out, our cake topper not on the cake, the napkins we paid for weren't used and guest got our cocktail napkins instead which was so mortifying, drinking glasses were not put on the tables, candlesticks not in holders) but the day happened thanks to many of our out of town guests. Overall we were very disappointed and our families were very upset with the situation.

r your wedding. We went above and beyond for your wedding since we were hired .
Because of the challenges of vendors that were unforeseen , the assigned assistant worked on your day the hardest she’s ever worked as a coordinator. The venue was very difficult to work with prior to the wedding and the day of and that created lots of obstacles for us to be able to do our roles since they lacked professionalism and knowledge of weddings.
As mentioned in your contract a couple times , we assign a coordinator lead a month prior to your wedding and an we had sent an email entailing that.
Because of inconsistencies with the venue , it set back the whole day so we were set to prioritize the most important aspects of the day, getting you and your husband married in front of your closest family and friends. We always emphasize that serving the bride and groom is always a part of our missions statement no matter the obstacles . This is what we did.
For the “touches” you mentioned that you thought were lacking here is what was completed. The napkins were placed out . Not all of the glasses were put out because the rental company didn’t provide the correct amounts . With the directional napkins, these were not created by my team.The venue was doing extra things and moving items that she was not aware of . The assistant went above and beyond to make sure things were done. The guest book was laid out, she personally went and made sure that guests knew about the wooden guestbook sign to sign it. The favors were set out on the table and she put the cake topper on the cake . I am sorry for any missed details you mentioned , we have refined our day of set up checklist to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

ington D.C. area. She isn't afraid to explore new areas and do what it takes to make her client happy. Her day-of coordinating is also spot on and very helpful. She makes sure everything is set up for success and it sure worked for us because everything was on time the whole day.
We had monthly calls that would help us stay on track and us know how to plan for the future to try and get ahead.
I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding coordinator!

ple, but when I thought about the day of the wedding, I knew my mom or I would be the one's running around making sure everything came together, and that is just not how I wanted my wedding day to go. So I hired Maura, and let me tell you, I AM SO GLAD I DID. She made the planning process so easy. She thought of every detail, was thoughtful when asked opinions, was on top of communicating with my vendors for me, and so much more.
