vendors were most important to us and photography was at the top of our list. We were looking for a photographer who was reliable, trustworthy, had a creative eye, well experienced, organized, classic, and fun to work with. Not only did Mo deliver on all of that but was SO much more than what we were hoping for and was hands down one of the best vendors we worked with.
From a personal standpoint, what we loved about Mo from the beginning was she took the time to get to know us as a couple and made us feel at ease in front of being in front of a camera. Neither of us have ever really taken any professional pictures before so it was important for us to feel at ease with our photographer and that we could be ourselves. Mo is also just one of the most kind people we have ever met - genuinely excited to celebrate our love with us and be spending the day with us. She has an incredible energy that puts you at ease while pumping you up at the same time. We received an engagement shoot as part of our package, and it was great to get to know her before our actual wedding day and build a connection with her. We fully trusted her heading into our wedding day.
From an organizational standpoint, Mo is extremely prompt, both with responses, sneak peaks, as well as full wedding photos. I’ve had a few friends have horror stories with their photographers where their photographer goes dark on them after the wedding, but thankfully with Mo we felt fully confident going into the wedding. In addition, she helped build a timeline with us for our wedding day which was so helpful - from start time to first look to speeches, first dance etc. We honestly didn’t even need to hire a wedding day of coordinator because Mo basically helped run the day smoothly and at ease with the timeline we built with her. She also was great with hauling a bridal party of 20+ as well as two big families (bless you for that, Mo lol!). I highly recommend to anyone looking for a wedding day photographer to hire Mo. She’s truly the best!

e we were old friends catching up over coffee. Our engagement shoot was a blast, and the photos were amazing, both candid and posed. Mo was so organized and supportive through the whole planning process, helping create a timeline that worked for us and recommending a videographer who was equally as wonderful. The day of our wedding, Mo and Marie were my personal hype women who everywhere, but also invisible letting the moments happen and capturing every one. Last week, when Mo text that our gallery was ready, I got those same excited butterflies I had the day of our wedding (minus the fear of tripping down the aisle) and it did not disappoint!

been following her on social media since then and I knew that someday when I got married, I wanted Mo to be our photographer. (I joke that I picked her before I picked my husband.) Mo's photos are pure magic. She has a knack for capturing not just the moment but also the emotion behind it. In addition to the actual photos, Mo is one of the kindest humans I have ever met. She was wonderful and supportive in every conversation we had leading up to the wedding. On our wedding day she kept our day running smoothly and was our #1 cheerleader. After shooting our engagement photos, we kept saying we loved her so much that we were just excited to have Mo by our side throughout our wedding day!! initially drawn to her from her amazing working but after meeting with her, her warm, fun, and compassionate personality really hit home with us and made us feel so confident in our choice. Thomas and I have never had professional photos taken of us, so we were nervous about how our engagement session would go - but Mo made us feel so comfortable and truly captured our real smiles/laughs. After seeing the results of our engagement photo shoot, there was no worry in our minds about how our photos of our wedding day would turn out. She thinks on her feet (we had rain at the last minute and Mo had multiple backup photo locations at the ready) and manages time efficiently. Her photography is stunning, she is a genius capturing emotion and beauty and light all at once.
But another quality about Mo that is so important outside of technicalities is that she is the kindest person you will ever meet. I have never seen someone work so many hours, nonstop with such a bright glow of positivity. Nothing throws her for a loop, and when several little things went awry (as things surely always do with weddings) her calm and upbeat nature would set the mood for everyone, preventing any stress or worry.
And in addition to being a wonderfully talented photographer and friend, you’d never know we didn’t have a coordinator by how perfectly she directed our entire wedding day.
She’s worth her weight in gold and we were so lucky to have her for the most important day of our lives!
Additionally, Marie, Mo’s second shooter, was exactly like Mo in terms of radiating kindness and positivity; and we got to see a video she took of us that was so so beautiful-she clearly is so talented as well!

the very beginning of our engagement and planning process, Mo was an amazing person to work with. Unfortunately, we were one of the many couples whose wedding was impacted by COVID. Mo was the very first person to call and reach out to us to support us in anyway possible. We ended up moving our wedding date back and selected our new date around her schedule because if we had to cancel all of our vendors-we KNEW we had to keep her as our photographer. She is the most down-to-earth and kind person and really makes you feel comfortable from the very beginning. We never felt posed or forced to do anything that made us feel awkward or uncomfortable. It's impossible not to feel an immediate bond with her. On top of that, she is extremely attentive to detail and helped our wedding day run so smoothly. was mesmerized by the photos. I knew immediately from seeing those photos that I NEEDED her to shoot my wedding (at this time I wasn't even engaged haha!). Once the day came where my husband got down on one knee, I contacted Mo immediately! My husband and I at the time were both living in Omaha, NE, but knew we would be getting married in the Chicagoland area, as this is where both of our families are from. Even though Mo is based out of Milwaukee, she did whatever she could to make the process as easy as possible. Since we were hundreds of miles away from one another, our first "meeting" was on FaceTime. Even though we couldn't be physically all together, I felt an instant friendship form between my husband and I and Mo. With Mo, she makes it much more than just a "client/photographer" relationship. She truly pours her heart and soul into getting to know her clients and from that, she is able to beautifully tell their love stories through her lens. On the day of my wedding, Mo brought such a calm presence to the day, which I feel is something all brides need during a day that is filled with such beautiful chaos. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable and ensured all of our wishes and needs were met. All day and night, Mo was there to help capture all of our special moments. At the end of the night, I was literally teary-eyed saying goodbye to her because throughout this process she has become like family to me. Words could not justify how great Mo is. My engagement photos were taken at the botanical gardens, and my wedding portraits were shot around the old buildings in Walker's Point and the Fifth Ward. The settings could have not been more different, but BOTH times Mo managed to take photos that were true to me, my style, and most importantly my relationship with Zach. Her photos aren't just pretty to look at, but they also conveyed our feelings and personalities too. That is what makes Mo so special! agement photo shoot had to be rescheduled 2 times for different reasons but Mo was so flexible and accommodating and made sure we got the best night. Our photos were so perfect and we were thankful for Mo taking the time to make us feel comfortable during the shoot.
Our wedding day was just a dream. Mo was there through it all and felt more like a friend throughout the day than my photographer. The photos turned out amazing and we couldn't be happier. and has a way of capturing someone's spirit in a picture that not anyone who picks up a camera can do.
She is friendly, professional, and sincerely loves what she does. She likes to have fun with pictures but is also very efficient (think family pictures after the ceremony that you want to get through relatively quickly). She is somehow always in the right place at the right time and knows how to many anyone she's photographing feel special and unique.
I HIGHLY recommend her services for your wedding, for family photos, senior pictures, maternity pictures, you name it. Mo is your girl, you will never need another photographer again.
