About this vendor
I am an adventure seeker, a reader, a cook, an outdoor enthusiast, a daughter, a sister, a friend, and a photographer. I have never been afraid of getting my feet - or hands dirty, chasing the last glimmering moment of daylight. I believe in the moments; the imperfectly perfect, raw, and memorable moments that make up our experience. This is one of my favorite parts of being a photographer, not necessarily capturing love in its most perfect, polished, and refined form, but capturing all of the moments in between. All of the crinkles that make a perfect smile, or the giggly rosy cheeks before a kiss. The soft and silent moments, the loud and crazy; these are the details and moments that mean the most to me, and the ones I feel very honored to pass along to my clients.

There is no one better than Mo!!! I will be screaming it from the rooftop for the rest of my life. Not only is she communicative, funny, sweet and kind. But the work she creates is...
nothing short of magic. The colors, the photos, her vision is truly unmatched. She will not only capture you looking your best but she also is able to grab hold of the feelings and emotions and display them in such an honest and tangible way, you catch yourself reliving the moments over and over. If you want someone who you can trust with this special day, who truly cares and loves what she does and also cares about YOU and your experience, then you really have to look no further.
Mo was simply incredible to work with. She truly made the wedding day flow seamlessly.
Her style is incredible and she has a real gift at story telling. She takes pictures like a f...
ly on the wall. She made my husband and I (who are not very comfortable in front of a camera) feel so relaxed and we didn't have to do much posing. She adapted flawlessly to what we wanted the day of.
Above all, she was a calming presence on a rather hectic-feeling day which I am beyond grateful for. Incredible service all around!
Mo was our dream photographer for our wedding day. We initially found her on Instagram, and we kept clicking on photos on our "For You" page while searching for photographers -- an...
d the images were all hers! After talking with her on the phone for our consultation, we knew we had to have her capture us, our story, and our love.
Mo captures feelings -- her images are so powerful and can put you right back in the time when they were taken. She listens, is thoughtful, and captures real-life moments in an authentic way. She is the person you want alongside you on your wedding day, too -- she's easygoing, kind, funny, and makes you feel right at ease in front of her camera. She can move through the day -- from family portraits, to intimate sunset photos, to dance floor moments -- with ease.
Booking Mo to shoot us for our engagement photos and our wedding was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process. She captures how we see each other, and how we love each other, and we are so grateful for the forever memories locked into her photographs. We highly recommend her to anyone in the Midwest area looking for an authentic capturing of their most important day.
We cannot say enough fantastic things about Mo as both a person and a photographer. From Mo photographing our surprise engagement in 2022 to engagement photo sessions and finally t...
he wedding day itself, Mo’s personality, talent, and dedication to her craft shined! We became quick friends because of how amazing Mo is as a person. Through all these amazing experiences, Mo has been able to capture every moment with so much creativity & skill, leaving us with so many unforgettable memories we will be sure to cherish for the rest of our lives.
Mo can capture the love and essence in each photograph & it’s truly incredible. Her photography isn’t about just single photos. She did a fantastic job telling a story through her photography. Whether Mo was capturing the pure joy on our faces during our surprise engagement, our intimate engagement shoot with our dogs almost making us fall, or our dream of a wedding day, Mo made the moments magical. It’s like she understood exactly what we wanted at all times.
Now, let’s offer one last example to detail a true testament to Mo's dedication to her job and problem-solving skills on the fly. Just one week before our wedding, the groom suffered an unexpected Achilles tear. We were devastated and worried that our plans would be disrupted. Mo took the time to adjust everything schedule & logistics wise at the last minute. She even went as far as re-scoping the area around our wedding venue that allowed for more accessible photo options. She also did a fantastic job keeping both of us in great spirits during the whole process.
Overall, we are incredibly thankful to have met Mo, not only because of her amazing photography but also because we have gained a great friend. Mo can make literally anybody feel comfortable and at ease in front of a camera, allowing for the best pictures showing our genuine emotions and personalities. She can really do it all & always has a tendency to find the perfect angles and lighting. Mo Speer will 100% exceed your expectations!! We couldn’t recommend her enough to be your wedding photographer & we hope she can photograph many more important moments in our lives.

she helped highlight the moments of joy and love in a bigger and better way than we could have ever imagined. She also did a great job managing all of the family pictures and the personalities that come with those. She was so great to work with leading up to the wedding, too. Very responsive and so present as we worked through all of the details and the planning process. Mo captured our wedding day in the most genuine and special way and we couldn’t be more grateful!
We were so unbelievably happy with Mo as our photographer for our wedding! I followed Mo's instagram account awhile back before being engaged and loved her content. Her photos are ...
fun, unique, and capture the coolest moments in between the posed photos. I knew right away I wanted her to photograph our wedding and wow am I happy she did! Mo was incredible to work with from the day we booked. She brought energy, positivity, and fun to our wedding day and supported us throughout the whole day making us feel like a true king and queen. AND THEN she gave us sneak peaks and I was in shock. Mo completely captured our day in the exact way I have always dreamed of. I cannot recommend her enough for your special day. She is a joy to be around, so talented and all around a great gal. We love Mo and you should definitely choose her!
I spent hours searching for a wedding photographer & I’m so glad I did because I finally found Mo! People keep asking me did you know your photographer beforehand? And I’m like no...
I just loved her from first dm. Obviously her pictures are INSANE she is a LEGEND at this but more so what I was looking for was the funnest, adventurist, most positive girl I could find and mo is PERFECT. We wanted to have a wedding with mountains and majestic views, but it was more important that we had our family and friends be able to make it. Mo made both dreams happen for us by coming with us on part of our honeymoon to Utah. She screamed karaoke with me, wore matching bodysuits, laughed it off when I took us down the wrong trail, and gave us the gift of capturing all these moments so beautifully. We loved every second of it, every picture she’s taken, and every bit of her!! WE LOVE MO!!! So grateful she was willing to spend the last five days together when she had only ever spent a couple hours with us!!!! Can’t recommend enough!!!
I could not have asked for a more personable or talented photographer for our big day! Not only did we love her, but many guests said the same thing, and our pictures are incredibl...

Her attitude and sense of humor offer fun sessions that you’ll never forget. She will make you laugh, smile, dance, and feel so great in your skin. Check her out. There’s not a chance you’ll regret it!
Update: Mo recently photographed our wedding, and we are completely blown away by her positive attitude, excellent communication, and ultimately stunning, unique photos. Her energy during an eventful day was super appreciated, and she made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera without forcing poses. Mo has a beautiful ability to make her clients feel supported, loved, and confident, and we are super thankful to be able to cherish our photos for a lifetime!

he has an exceptional ability to catch really special and sweet moments among people and I was astounded by her work when I got to see the finished products! 100% would recommend!
While the photography industry is rather saturated with a lot of similar (and great) work, Mo’s artistic eye finds a way to tell a story of your day like no one else. Rather than ...
a picture of an invitation laying down on a table, Mo would capture it being held by your grandma. In addition to all of the classic “must have” photos, Mo will find the small moments for you to have and to hold forever. As a guest at several weddings Mo has shot, I have been floored with her fun, supportive and professional spirit. She allows couples to be themselves and focus on what is most important - marrying their person. I would hire her 100 times over.
Mo is the perfect balance of "go-with-the-flow" and firm direction to execute a vision. She is comfortable engaging with anyone and can put even the most shy or stubborn at ease to...

rapher we honestly kind of forgot there was even a camera involved. Mo creates and captures genuine and authentic moments. She made us feel comfortable and celebrated our love right alongside us. I can’t recommend her enough to anybody looking for a photographer with an adventurous spirit, kind nature, and genuinely beautiful heart. We’re so in love with the final photos she returned to us, and they feel so true to our relationship and our wedding day... It is evident she pours her heart into making the day and the final result everything you could dream of. Her personality and her art are the full package!
