We recently rented the two barrel daiquiri machine and 3- 6' tables from Mobile Popcorn. Everything worked great until the next morning when the one table that had been holding the...
daiquiri machine all night folded up on one side causing the machine to slide off and hit the floor. Obviously we saw the damaged handle and drip tray. We returned everything on time and reported the damage then waited to see what they wanted us to do after they tested it. The owner of Mobile Popcorn, Russell, tested it himself. He came out of the back room where he supposedly tested the machine and told us that it was damaged beyond repair and we had to purchase it for the full retail value of 2,588.00$ I was told the compressor wouldn't kick on nor would the power light. We agreed that it was our fault and we would pay the cost for the machine. Out of our pockets came 588.00$, out of our homeowners insurance came the 2000.00$ which the company Kindly accepted and appreciated "people who do the right thing".
We just got home with our new broken beyond repair daiquiri machine and low and behold!!!! We have frozen daiquiri's! The machine works perfectly fine. We called and were told you bought it and we don't want it back then hung up on. So much for appreciating "people that do the right thing", they would rather commit insurance fraud and scam honest, hard-working people. Daiquiri anyone?
Mobile Popcorn & Party Rentals is a terrible company. Pandemic hit mid wedding week and we had to cancel our rehearsal dinner due to government mandated social gathering restrictio...
ns. We cancelled prior to them even delivering any rentals. They will not give us our money back and have been extremely rude. I just want to let everyone know so when other people are getting married this year and the second wave hits and they have to postpone/cancel their special weekend, that they don’t have to worry about these people taking advantage of them as well.
My father rented to of the patio heaters and the 6 gallon daiquiri machine. Heaters and machine worked amazing just kind of high on the price to rent the heaters.
Mobile Popcorn is by far the BEST rental company in Mobile. Taylor Goldman was so easy to work with. She was always on time for everything and knew exactly what I needed. I trusted...
her for everything. Cole was also awesome! They set up my wedding in the pouring rain starting at 6 AM. Taylor waited to the last minute to tent the property just in case it cleared. I highly recommend!!
Kelsey and the staff at Mobile Popcorn were so helpful! I lost count of how many times I changed my floor plan for the reception but they were always willing to go with it, even it...
was a terrible idea. I saw a tablecloth at a bridal show that I loved and Kelsey even special ordered it for me so I could have it for my cake table. Thank ya'll so much for everything!!
We made the mistake of booking two rentals one for tents, and everything else (chairs, dishes, etc…) from Mobile Popcorn. Let me tell you, we should have just done everything with ...
Mobile Popcorn. Kelsey was nothing short of amazing! When my other vendor dropped the ball three days before the wedding, Kelsey was able to immediately make changes and cover everything we needed. She was so accommodating, easy to work with, professional, worked well with my planner and wedding venue. Kelsey eased all of the worries that happen in the thick of wedding planning. We so appreciate the time and hard work you put into making our day so wonderful.
We cannot recommend Mobile Popcorn highly enough!! We worked with Kayla, who was an absolute pleasure! Their prices were much more reasonable than the other rental companies in tow...
n, but they also had a wide selection of products we were looking for. Kayla communicated via phone and email quickly and efficiently. She was so accommodating with my numerous questions and order changes. She even had suggestions for setups and items that I had not thought about. She was at the venue early in the morning and late at night overseeing setup and cleanup. All of the items we rented were high quality and looked fantastic. We had the best experience working with her and Mobile Popcorn!
I wished I knew mobile popcorn did rentals, but didn't realize they did till the day before my wedding and needed a tent. They helped and provided a tent for us with no fuss and ...
were super nice. Which was a change from dealing with Port City who threatened to not deliver my wedding rentals less than 16 hours before my wedding bc we went with another company for our tent. Save yourself a headache and people with horrible attitude like port city and go with mobile popcorn, you won't regret it!
Best rates out of all the local rental places. They had the closest match for the color I was searching for as well as beautiful lace overlays to go with my wedding decor. Loved th...
e option where you can pick up and drop off to save a little extra As well!
very expensive prices
I worked with Jennah at Mobile Popcorn for my rentals. I rented my table cloths, table toppers, chairs, and a few tables. Jennah was very knowledgable about the venue I had chosen ...
and weddings in general. I told her what I wanted and she knew exactly what I was talking about and had plenty of suggestions on how to make it turn out how I had it pictured in my head. They also delivered and picked up the items I had rented and had the options for them to set it up for an extra fee, but I chose to set it up myself. Overall I would recommend Mobile Popcorn to ANY bride in search of rentals in Mobile, AL.
