get to choose the restaurants on their site) but they provide drivers for pick up, staffing, beautiful chafing dishes and displays, etc. to serve the food. They just branched out into Austin fairly recently and the wedding industry in general. With the wedding package, they also provide bussing and cake cutting and packing/cleaning catering related things. We were thrilled with them! The food looked amazing, and the servers came around often to clear plates and trash, etc. In addition to the wedding services, for $3884 we got appetizers for cocktail hour (queso/chips, pimento cheese/crackers, hummus/toast for 75), a three meat/four side BBQ buffet for 96 people (we fed our vendors and also wanted to pay for 10 people more than needed in case of heavier eaters), 8 veggie burgers as replacement for meat for vegetarians, a wedding cake for cutting (fed 8), and 75 matching cupcakes for guests. I also want to give a special shout out to head caterer Vanessa! She has a wedding coordinator background and was ON IT on the questions she asked on how we wanted food staged, timed, etc. She was worth her weight in gold! I really think Moby Dish should have an add-on service for day-of coordinator and use her in that capacity! Moby Dish is such a great idea to save money on catering and get a lot of options, as you can mix and match food items from different restaurants that partner with them, and you still get the high level you expect from wedding caterers!

Highly recommend Mobydish! My worst fear came true when our original caterer cancelled a few weeks before my wedding. It took 1 week to plan out our whole menu with Mobydish, and that included hor d'ouerves, appetizers, meals and even the cake....

So happy I found them. Their staff was truly amazing, and their service ended up being half the cost of my original caterer. They definitely went above and beyond to make sure the food on our day was perfect. When it came to choosing the food, no research was needed on my end. They gave me options of menus already created by them. All our guests said the food was truly delicious. Even our cake was a big hit. Everything was customizable, and we received the cake of our dreams! I had one less stress to worry about thanks to Mobydish!

Half French and Half Italian, Bruno has been raised around food and wants Mobydish to help people build deep connections by sharing excellent meals, without the bad experiences. He developed Mobydish in San Francisco, New York, and Austin to connect people in offices, events, and weddings from top restaurants and caterers at a reasonable cost. To provide the best experience, Mobydish curates its partners carefully, hires delivery and on-site personnel, and put the customer experience before anything else.
