As someone who works in the music industry, my wife and I could not have asked for a better wedding band than Mod Society. Claudio and his team were easy to work with, adeptly executed our song selections as if they were part of their own repertoire, and gave absolutely incredible performances during our wedding weekend that both took our guests breath away and had them swarming the dance floor. Their presence, command, and technicality are first class all the way. Would highly recommend them to any and all wedding couples!

We booked Mod Society for our wedding and we are so happy we did. They were so much fun and their music and performance were terrific. We had a smaller wedding and didn’t want too big a band - mod society was able to cater to our wedding size with a 6 piece band. Our singers Mikey and Jenny were so talented and we got numerous complements from our guests on the band. Working with Claudio and Rachel during the planning process was also incredibly smooth and they were able to work with us on all the details and custom songs we wanted. The band nailed the mix of newer songs mixed with throwbacks to appeal to our range of guests and we were on the dance floor the whole time. Thank you Mod Society for making our wedding special!

The decision to work with Mod Society as our wedding band was truly one of the best we made throughout the whole process. From the start, they were extremely helpful and communicative as we worked through planning and the timeline for the day. From the very beginning, Mod Society was more than just a band to us; they were the heartbeat of what would become the most magical day of our lives. I had been enchanted by Elliot, Renee, and Lindsay’s voices ever since I stumbled upon one of their YouTube videos. The entire band's style resonated with us so deeply that, long before we were even engaged, my husband joked about flying them out to Italy, where we knew our eventual wedding would take place. From that moment on, choosing Mod Society became a priority for us, a decision that we knew would involve sacrificing other elements (albeit, elements that we cared significantly less about) to ensure their presence at our wedding. And let me tell you, it was a decision that paid off beautifully. Working with Claudio, the owner (and bass player) of Mod Society, and his assistant Rachel, was effortless. Their communication was seamless, making the entire process a breeze. The band’s performance at our welcome party, which featured live band karaoke, was an absolute hit – so much so that my mother, amidst the fun, half-joked that the wedding itself couldn’t possibly top the welcome dinner. But of course, Mod Society exceeded even those high expectations. They provided not just the music for our ceremony and cocktail hour, which was wonderful in itself, but they also transformed our reception into a night we would never forget. Because Mod Society is not your average, cheesy wedding cover band. They’re rockstars. And it felt like we were at our own personal concert. The entire band – Elliot, Renee, Lindsay, Claudio, Alon, Yuval, and Joel – brought a level of energy and joy that we, and all our guests will treasure forever. They learned several songs just for us – a special song for our ceremony, and three for our reception including our first dance and the father/daughter dance. Each performance was executed flawlessly, adding a personal touch that made our wedding uniquely ours. If you’re looking for a wedding band in the greater NY area, I’m not sure why you’d choose any band other than Mod Society! As Danielle and I were planning our wedding we knew we wanted a band as I am a musician and we both share a love for live music. After lots of research, we booked Mod Society for our Montauk wedding and could not be happier with our choice! We had a 9-piece band with three singers, guitar, bass, drums, keys, and 2 horn players - each and every member of the band is insanely talented and brings a ton of energy to the party. On the back end, Claudio is a joy to work with. He is committed to working with you to bring your vision to life, and brings a ton of experience in the industry to the table to make this happen. Not to mention, relative to other NY-area bands, Mod Society’s pricing was very reasonable for a band of this size and caliber. On top of all of this, Mod Society worked with us to coordinate the perfect time during the reception for me to go up with the band for a song. I played bass, my dad played drums, and my best man sang, while the Mod Society guitarist played along with us to Give It Away by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It went so well and our guests raved about the performance. Our friends and family can’t stop raving about how great Mod Society was! Go see them at one of their showcases at Red Lion and book them to play your wedding - you won’t regret it!

Mod Society was fantastic! They knew exactly what to play to keep the crowd happy and dancing, and were so talented! Just wow! I could not recommend Mod society more. My husband and I knew we wanted a band that didn’t just do the traditional wedding gig but that brought the energy you would get at a really fun dance party and they sure did that! From my call with Claudio I knew this band would be right for us. He is very easy going and the conversation felt very easy and fluid. The night of the wedding, phoebe was our MC and really took my mission of having everyone on the dance floor the whole night to heart! Her and Mikey and the rest of the band was truly incredible. They even helped us hype up the crowd with a game of limbo using someone’s scarf attached to their dress! we had so many guests tell us this was the best wedding band they had seen. They did a great job mixing in genres and decades of music so it felt like there was something for everyone. They really knew to read the crowd. If you are looking for a truly fun and memorable night that is unlike any other wedding you’ve been to, hire mod society!

BOOK THIS BAND! My now wife and I knew we wanted a band at our wedding. We're both musicians (her being a trained drummer and me being a "couch" guitarist who can play a mean Tom Petty). After hearing ModSociety on their Instagram and Youtube channels, we got very excited and ended up booking them. We saw them perform a few months later at a bar in New York City and knew that we made the right decision. They sounded great and had such a good stage presence. The entire communication process with ModSociety in the months leading up to our wedding was so easy and stress-free. Claudio (the producer, manager, and bassist) was directly involved in all communications, expressed excitement about our day and song selections, and granted our request for my wife to play drums with the band. HOW FRIGGIN COOL!!?! To no surprise, they EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS at our wedding. We had a lively group and the band's set list matched the guest's energy. The band also nailed the songs that we chose for our ceremony and first dance, along with the father/daughter and mother/son dances. My wife killed it on drums and the band was so receptive to her jamming with them. It was a magical experience. The band members were also very friendly and interactive after sets, just real good people who we felt like we knew for years. Our guests could not stop raving about the band both during the wedding and in the days and weeks after. So if you've read this entire review, BOOK THIS BAND. You will not be disappointed.

We cannot recommend Mod Society more! From seamless coordination by Claudio to the incredibly fun and talented band, the whole team was a pleasure to work with and made our wedding incredible. They accommodated all of our special requests — from an amazing rendition of our first dance song to an insanely high energy Hora to a majorly crowd pleasing Baby One More Time, they had our dance floor packed the entire night. They responded to the crowd’s feedback, adjusted to some tricky logistics due to our difficult venue, and kept the party moving even in a rainstorm. Don’t sleep on this band! Best wedding band ever. Working with Mod Society was such a pleasure. They take your day / music choices to heart and make you feel so special the day of your wedding. Everyone wants the dance floor at their wedding to be packed, fun, and everyone enjoying themselves. Mod Society is able to create such a fun vibe because of how talented their musicians are and the planning that goes in before the day to make sure the songs choices you want are present. Our wedding venue, Battello, has outdoor space and a view of the NYC skyline. Because of this view it could make guests spend more time outside talking/enjoying the beautiful weather, but Mod Society was able to keep the dance floor full the entire night. I literally spent my entire wedding front and center dancing my heart out and having the absolute best time. The band is filled with some of the coolest individuals we have ever met. Claudio is so great and he captured so many moments of our wedding that we will cherish forever. If you are looking for a band that is fun, INSANELY TALENTED, and will keep people dancing all night long - then Mod Society is the best choice out there without a doubt.

We hired Mod Society for our May 2023 band and feel like we made the best decision. Claudio and the team were super responsive and organized from the get-go, even before booking them, that it almost felt like a no brainer! They set the tone for our wedding, starting with the jazz quartet during cocktail hour. What a vibe!! From there, they absolutely knocked it out of the park during the reception. The singers are truly unbelievable and the whole band kept the dance floor going the whole night. They were so fun. Highly recommend - you are making the best decision!

ModSociety was perfect! We hired them for the ceremony duo, jazz trio during cocktail hour and the 10 person band during the reception. All the music was great! We got so many complements on the music. Even as the night was winding down, ModSociety continued to play and raise the roof. I definitely got my money's worth! Every single person at our wedding said this is the best band they've ever seen, and it's 100% accurate! We worked together to develop some songs we wanted (and didn't want) to hear and they played music at our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They played such a great show that was super exciting and had everyone up dancing the night away. They also had AMAZING sound levels that made it so they were loud, but not blowing anyone's ears out. 100% recommended!

Mod Society was the most memorable part of our Augusy 2022 wedding and by far the best vendor we booked. Claudio is very thorough yet easy to work with when explaining the process leading up to the day. Moreover, they are true professional musicians and don’t stick to a “set list” but rather feel and create incredible energy that gets everyone dancing - so much so, my cousin booked Mod Society for her upcoming wedding as they left such a lasting impression. What impressed us most, when asking if Mod Society was open to learning a traditional Italian wedding song (The Tarantella), Claudio said with a smile “Yes!!! We’ll Learn” - almost every other band said “we’ll just play a track of it.” Lastly, Claudio also let us sing a song with the band which was SO fun and special. TLDR: BOOK THIS BAND!

Mod Society was recommended to us from a friend and we are so happy we listened! They were SO SO good for our October wedding, the dance floor was packed the entire night. I would highly recommend them! They are also so easy to work with and when planning a wedding, that is always a huge plus.

We hired Mod Society for our wedding last May. We were immediately impressed by the breadth of their repertoire and had a lot of fun finding the songs we wanted to add to our wishlist. In addition, getting to choose a few songs for the band to learn just for us was a great touch. Cut to the day of the wedding! The band and their rep were prompt, professional, and personable. I don’t remember the music during the ceremony, it was kind of a blur. But after the band began cocktail hour with a trio doing some light jazzy intrumental standards that kicked the night off with class. As the night went on and dinner wrapped up the full band was ready to rock! We had a blast, the music was bumping. I was pleased to hear multiple times during the evening my guests remarking how good they thought the band was. Not that you wouldn’t be able to tell by the hip shakin’ boogie woogieing going on the dance floor. It was a sight to see, and hear! As versatile as they are as a band and as accomaditing with their set lists as they are. You can’t put a price on an act with talent. That’s Mod Society. Happy to have had them!

Mod Society was incredible!! My guests raved about them for weeks after my wedding. They learned and played all of the songs I requested with ease. All of my guests were on the dance floor all night because of them. I could not recommend them more!!! They had so much energy, played the right songs at the right time, and overall played beautiful music, sounding exactly like the bands/singers they were covering. Wow is really all I have to say about Mod Society! My husband was leaning towards having a DJ for the wedding but when we were driving home afterwards the first thing he said was “I’m glad you talked me into a band because they were awesome!” Claudio and his team were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We booked the 10-piece band and they were outstanding. They have a long list of songs they can play and any song we mentioned in our meeting with him they learned and played flawlessly, no questions asked! By far the number one question I received after the wedding was “what’s the name of the band?” They read the room and kept the music going all night. From the second the first dance was over the dance floor was packed until it was time to leave. They did such a great job from the ceremony to cake cutting and everything in between. I can’t recommend them enough. They made our wedding truly unforgettable!

OMG… talk about a BAND who knows how to PARTY! I cannot even begin to describe how amazing Mod Society was. My husband and I were lucky enough to attend a preview show for couples back in late 2019. From the moment we saw them, we knew - this was it. This was the band we wanted. No matter the cost. The music was a huge priority for us and we budgeted accordingly - but it was even better when Mod Society offered great packages. We ended up booking a 10-piece band - which included instrumentals for the ceremony. Claudio - the manager - is a fantastic vendor. He communicates almost immediately, answered my many questions, and takes the time to call you to understand you as a couple, your desires, and genre interests. When the pandemic hit, they didn’t miss a beat and held my reservation for an entire year (at no additional cost). It was a long wait for our wedding, but I am so glad it worked out to still use them. The band members are a great group of people who you would want to hang out with as friends. They arrived on time, set up, and packed up efficiently and carefully. They all dressed appropriately and appreciated the vendor meals that I made sure were a priority. After a pandemic, we were the first wedding for a lot of our guests, and boy did they bring the PARTY. The band was jamming the moment our guests entered the space. Multiple guests commented how they felt like “they were at a live concert” and raved for weeks about our party. Mod Society took quick, efficient breaks, and the best part - they read the room. Not once did our dance floor clear and they played all of our hit favorites - and even a 90’s set - which was a big hit with our mostly millennial crowd. I cannot recommend them enough. Worth every penny. I wish I could hire them again and again! Thank you, Claudio and team, for an amazing performance and for elevating our party to that level!

Mod was everything we dreamt of in a band and more. They were the highlight of our wedding, and to this day, our guests rave about Mod! Mod performed at our September 2021 wedding and was hands down the best decision we made. We spent a *lot* of time trying to find the right band… many many hours of YouTube videos. We wanted a group that was fun and upbeat, who played a great mix of modern and classic songs and who would overall fit the vibe of a Brooklyn classic NYC wedding. Not only did they execute on all of that incredibly well BUT absolutely crushed it on every level. It is not an exaggeration to say nearly every wedding guest commented on the quality of the band and how much fun they had. Between the dinner time jazz and dance floor party, we couldn’t have asked for a better flow and execution. And the sound….. the sound was AMAZING! I felt like I was at my own private concert. You do not need to search any further, mod is a guaranteed hit!

Modsociety was the very first vendor we booked after setting a date, and when we had to reschedule due to the pandemic, our new date was always going to be contingent on their availablity. They are that good. From striking the perfect tone during our ceremony, to bringing the house down after the reception, seriously the amount of talent these musicians have is truly incredible. On top of all this, there’s also the band’s leader, creator, and bass player, Claudio. He handles all communication for the band and is so incredibly on top of it. His responses were always prompt and incredibly thoughtful. We had some non-traditional song requests for him, and not only did he deliver, but he worked with us to make sure what we were imagining is what all our guests ended up hearing. The man is great, his band is out of this world, you would be doing yourself a disservice to hire anybody else. Trust us.

Hire Mod Society! When planning our wedding the band was the most important vendor to us, they set the tone for the night! We were planning for two years - covid cancelled our wedding and pushed it to NYE 2021 during the height of Omicron - and Claudio and his team were great despite all of the hiccups. Not only is the band excellent, but in the event of something unexpected happening (like it did for our wedding) they have a large network of musicians to pull in should they need to. If you're planning a wedding right now, peace of mind is so important, know that if you book them you're in good hands. Claudio is super responsive and easy to work with, which was very reassuring. If you book them - add all four horns!! We opted for a full brass section, if you're looking for a big sound, and for everyone to tell you that you had the best wedding band just book it.

When our photographer recommended Mod Society to us and we saw that they showcase at Red Lion, we immediately knew they would be a good choice. However NOTHING could have prepared us for how good they really were. Music was hands down our biggest priority for our wedding and they did not disappoint. We had a very specific vision for our first dance set (they even learned our favorite college song for us) and they blew my vision out of the water. The dance floor was rocking all night and I can't even count how many of our guests asked for their contact info to hire them for their own weddings/events. RUN do not walk, to hire Mod Society for your own wedding, you won't regret it!

Mod Society was one of the first vendors we booked for our wedding – we actually chose our wedding date around their October availability. With that said, we had high expectations, and they did not disappoint. From the moment Mod Society started playing, no one left the dance floor! We have been getting compliments and questions about the band – who they were, how we found them, etc. – multiple times per week since the wedding, which was over a month ago now. We’re super excited to field all these inquiries because we’re really hoping we’ll get another wedding night with Mod Society soon!! Every age group loved them and had an absolute blast – one of our wedding guests even joined them on stage to sing his own song mid-reception! Plus, as an added bonus, we were lucky enough to have Kita, the adorable headphone wearing service dog, grace us with her presence. She was a huge hit amongst our dog loving guest list. Claudio is incredibly responsive and easy to work with – super laid back and has all things wedding under control. We loved everything they did from the minute they started at the cocktail hour until the last second of their last encore song. Hiring Mod Society was definitely one of the best decisions we made! I’m already scheming a trip to NYC to see them again live at Red Lion. Thank you, Mod Society, for the absolute best cocktail hour and reception!!

We were very lucky to be able to book Mod Society for our wedding, and they absolutely did not disappoint. Claudio and his team sounded incredible, from the solo guitarist during the ceremony to the jazz trio at cocktail hour to the five piece band during the reception - every song, including the custom ones we were able to choose for the ceremony and reception, was thoughtfully and masterfully arranged for its purpose and executed wonderfully. We did request one song that Mod Society determined, after a good deal of practice, that they would not be able to execute to their best potential. But they communicated about it with us as soon as possible, and we were able to find a backup plan that worked for both of us. In fact, Mod Society's communication in the time leading up to the wedding was very good. They were always on top of answering our questions, and their responses were extremely thorough. We also loved that we were able to select songs from their repertoire that we absolutely did and absolutely did not want them to play. It really felt as if we were able to customize the music experience. We also found Mod Society to be very flexible, both leading up to and during the event. They were willing and able to plan around the non-traditional parts of our wedding, such as the Mezinke Tanz (a Jewish cultural tradition they were not familiar with) and a large flower toss to replace the standard bouquet toss. They were also very easy-going and flexible when we had to make some sudden timeline changes due to time restrictions and executed these changes flawlessly, so that none of our guests could tell anything was wrong. Mod Society, and especially Claudio himself, were extremely inclusive, taking direction on the non-traditional/non-gendered verbiage we had requested without once slipping up. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with Claudio and his team, and so were our guests (they haven't yet stopped raving about the music)! We would absolutely recommend Mod Society to anyone looking to book an upbeat band with an incredible and modern sound.

When my husband and I went to see Mod Society perform live, we just knew we had to hire them as our entertainment. Not only are they extremely talented (how are they not famous!?), they are all such lovely people to work with. Claudio was so patient with my dad as my dad owns a wedding venue so of course every little detail had to be reviewed. Claudio assured him that they would be able to handle everything and they did just that! It was also great that the team did everything from our ceremony all the way through to the reception. Hiring Mod Society for our wedding was one of our best decisions by far! From the moment we saw their videos online we knew we wanted to have them at our wedding! Their repertoire had the exact selection of Motown / top 40s/ classics we were looking for and they even learn custom songs for your wedding. We booked before we even had a chance to see them live! We booked for a jazz cocktail hour, ceremony duet and a 5 hour reception—it was so great to have such amazing music from the very start of our day until the end and to work with one group to do so:) Claudio was incredibly responsive and helpful through the entire planning process! They worked with all our strange requests (like needing to have certain Polish songs played on track at random times) My wedding planner was also incredibly impressed by how great Claudio and group was to work with! Because we live in NYC we were able to catch one of their showcases. It was so much fun—and made us even more excited for our wedding. On the actual wedding day Mod Society was outstanding and kept people dancing all night. All of guests keep raving about them! I hope some of our friends with book Mod Society for future weddings but either way we will be sure to keep seeing them when they are in NYC! Cannot thank the whole band enough!!

Mod Society was absolutely FANTASTIC! We booked Mod Society on the strength of our wedding planner Ashley O'Neil's recommendation, and soon after saw them perform at a showcase at Red Lion in NYC. We knew we had made the right decision -- the entire bar was up on their feet dancing the entire night. Their vocals and instruments are incredible, and stage presence is spot on -- they are an overall extremely talented, charismatic, and fun band! Mod Society absolutely delivered for our wedding on 9/18/21 -- we booked both the ceremony guitar duo (a must!!) and the band for the reception. Our dance floor was so much fun and really made our wedding great. The band was so flexible easy to work with -- we had a few last minute requests (including a guess performance by a friend!) and there was no problem fitting everything in. Claudio is exceptionally responsive, responding to email in less than an hour. He did a great job at keeping me calm and excited throughout two years of wedding planning -- even through postponing and replanning our wedding due to COVID --- and made the whole process efficient, lighthearted, and not stressful. I would 100% book again and recommend to ANY friend or family member planning a wedding -- thank you so much Mod Society!

Mod Society was absolutely phenomenal at our 9/25 wedding in Westchester. I loved all my vendors but Mod Society I think takes the cake. First, they are extremely talented musicians. They aren’t cheesy or corny and are really good at reading the vibe. Our guests were on the dance floor all night and repeatedly came up to us to tell us how amazing the band is. Second, they are extremely communicative, supportive, and on top of things! Our venue required vendors to have a specific type of insurance and I was really stressed about it, and Claudio emailed me ~3 minutes later telling me he had called the venue and had it taken care of and we were good to go. Planning a wedding is sooo stressful and Mod Society allowed me to honestly not really think about the music because I just knew they had it covered. I can’t recommend Mod Society enough - 10/10 5 stars they are the best band ever. If you are looking for a band, look no further, Mod Society is the best of the best.

Mod Society was AMAZING! We hired Mod 2 and we could not have been happier. Everyone was on the dance floor and had a fabulous time, much to the credit of Mod 2. Multiple guests told us the band was amazing and are thinking of hiring them for their own events. Our singers (Ziarra, Schadrack, Renee) each had incredible voices and the other band members were just as impressive, including the amazing guitarist that blew us away after we asked the band to play Prince's Let's Go Crazy. Likewise, Claudio was a pleasure to work with throughout the process, including our COVID reschedule. We HIGHLY recommend them!!

Mod Society is absolutely phenomenal! My husband and I, along with our guests, did not stop dancing all night long! They learned a number of favorite songs of ours and did a great job emceeing the evening. Our first dance song was exactly how we dreamed it would sound and it was beautiful. The jazz quartet during the cocktail hour was awesome as well. Every member of this band is so talented. Claudio and the gang were also so kind and accommodating when we had to move our wedding date multiple times due to the pandemic. Overall, this band knows how to party and rocks!

Let me start off by saying…. I don’t know why anyone in the NYC area would hire any other band besides Mod Society!!! They are truly amazing. They played at my sister’s wedding and everyone loved them so much that it made our decision SO easy when we started planning our own wedding. Mod Society can do anything— they will take your requests that aren’t in their repertoire and make it sound like they’ve been playing it for years. Everyone was on the dance floor all night because of the energy and talent of this band. We got SO many compliments on the music and our guests had the best time. Claudio is also the BEST and such an amazing person to work with. He checked in on us throughout a tough Covid postponement year and is just a genuinely nice guy (and even went the extra mile to call — call, not text — us after or ceremony on our actual legal wedding day in 2020). I really hope I get to go to another Mod Society wedding in the future!

Claudio and Mod Society were incredible. Not only were they amazing to work with (we were a Covid couple and literally had 4 wedding dates over the last 2 years) but they completely rocked the party! My dad who doesn’t dance was even up out of his seat. We didn’t want traditional music for our ceremony and Claudio and his team were kind enough to learn Shakedown Street for our bridal party to walk into and Everlong for me to walk down the aisle to. I can’t say enough good things about them!

MOD SOCIETY WAS SENSATIONAL. There is so much to say about them. When we first discovered them through one of the wedding websites, we were immediately obsessed. We could not stop watching the youtube videos provided on their website and it felt like we could sign a contract sight unseen. They had a show coming up on the UES and we decided it was probably in our favor to check them out...just in case. They were amazing and we knew they were the band for us. They had everyone dancing in this small UES bar. Fast forward to wedding planning during the COVID pandemic - Claudio was so helpful. He was always responsive and happy to talk things out with us. We went from a 200 person wedding to a 26 and kept the band as our entertainment. We got married in NY and during our planning learned that dancing was restricted due to COVID. This was news we were devastated to hear, but Claudio was resourceful and understanding and just happy to play music (they had not played since February due to COVID). Our wedding turned out to be perfect and every person at the wedding was SO impressed with Mod Society. From the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception. Their volume was perfect, they brought it up when they could and kept it appropriate when necessary. They even learned Phish for us, which is not their typical sound - but they nailed it. The band members were awesome and friendly. Everyone is still talking about how amazing they are. I know they'll be busy in 2021, but we want them at our next event when we can really turn it up. We're still obsessed.

Claudio and the Mod Society band made our special day TRULY special. We fell in love with Mod Society after viewing their repertoire on the band's website. We booked them immediately without even seeing them live. I'm so glad we did. Claudio made the entire booking and planning process a breeze and flawlessly conquered all logistical challenges involved in traveling with a large band from NYC to a wedding on Martha's Vineyard. In planning our wedding, two items were especially critical - food and music. Now reminiscing the day - just 6 months back - I can still taste easy savory bite and vividly see the pure happiness radiating from our guests as they danced around us throughout the day/evening. Mod Society was everything we wanted and more from a band! After researching online, we stumbled upon Mod Society and planned a date night at The Red Lion (Bleeker St.) to hear the band live. As soon as they took the stage - we were excited about the possibility of partnering together. The live shows are a fantastic way to get a sense of the music, vibe and talent. And oh my goodness what talent they have!! As the vocal singers rotated in, we fell more and more in love with what we heard. They say, “music is medicine for the soul,” and that is exactly what Mod Society does. We spent that Wednesday date night at the Red Lion dancing to all of our favorites - alongside the entire bar who was also too inspired my the music to simply sit/drink. Following the performance, we spoke with Claudio (founder/producer/bandleader) and set the partnership in motion. Claudio is a gem - great to work with, genuinely interested in our aspirations, detail-oriented (explaining all of our options), incredibly knowledgable and kind. Claudio provided us with all of the information we needed to make decisions, clarified all of our questions and seamlessly coordinated and moved along the entire process. It was stress free and enjoyable; we so valued his time, patience and expertise! We selected a 9-piece band with 3 singers (Elliot, Lindsay and Keren) and from ceremony to reception they did not disappoint. Working directly with our venue, Mod Society handled set-up and coordination throughout the event - we didn’t have to think of anything - they covered it all! The guitar/bass/sax during ceremony significantly elevated the entire experience, bringing so much love and enjoyment to the ceremony. This sentiment carried into the cocktail hour, with an instrumental quartet set-up (guitar, upright bass, sax, percussion). And then as for the reception, I don’t remember seeing anyone sitting down between courses as the dance floor was FULL. Mod Society had everyone in a groove, dancing, singing and smiling from ear-to-ear to an array of hits. As we greeted and thanked guests, I couldn’t help myself but jump into the center of the dance floor and vibe with the music. The energy was absolutely intoxicating in the best way possible. Following the wedding, our friends and family raved about the music and band - many stating Mod Society was the best band they’ve ever experienced at wedding - and these conversations continue to this day. My mother in particular continues to reminiscence her favorite memory of belting, “Rollin On The River” into the mic with Keren. I so fondly remember this moment as well. I could go on and on - Mod Society helped us to create such special moments that we’ll forever cherish. Thank you Claudio and the entire band for playing an instrumental ;) role in our special day.

We were 100% satisfied with our choice to hire Mod Society to play at our wedding. All our guests loved the band, their song choices and the energy they brought to the celebration. Their enthusiasm to make sure we were happy on our special day was something we took to heart. Mod Society When it came to planning our wedding Kel and I had a lot of experience to draw upon....see when you get married in your 30’s, the number of weddings attended begins to inch from the 10’s and 20’s into the 30’s and 40’s. As a result, we had a good feel for what we wanted and at the core of that ‘must have’ list was an amazing band. We wanted the band to be the center of the wedding reception (in a good way); captivating our guests and keeping them on the dance floor all night long. Kel and I are unabashed people pleasers so we wanted guests to come away from our wedding feeling like they’d just been to an insanely intimate concert with this unknown but awesome band that was all theirs for the evening. Sky high standards, I know. CUE MOD SOCIETY....From start to finish Claudio and company exceeded said standards... While we were doing our due diligence across the typical Philadelphia wedding band circuit, our planner (sup confetti and co) dripped the idea of this band from Brooklyn that she whole heartedly endorsed. Instantly intrigued, kel and I shot up to NYC on the next train to catch a performance and found ourselves jamming out across their entire set. Our decision was pretty easy after what we’d just experienced and in my opinion it was the best one we made throughout the entire process (besides picking each other to marry of course). Feel like a review of any vendor needs to encompass the lead up to the big day as well as the wedding itself and needless to say MOD SOCIETY checked both boxes. Claudio was an awesome liaison. Responsive and kind, he welcomed our questions and a few unique song requests right up until the start of the show... and about that show....they crushed. Somehow exceeding our exceedingly high expectations, MOD delivered the concert of our dreams; one that all of our friends continue to discuss almost 5 months later. Their ability to hit all types of music created a dance floor that not only suited our best buds but also my 80 year old parents and their crew. I left our wedding so happy; not only marrying my best friend, but loving the energy and excitement that mod society delivered ALL NIGHT LONG. We hired the Mod Society for our rooftop Brooklyn wedding in September of 2019 and I cannot say enough good things! From the moment we reached out, Claudio was super responsive to every question we had and was consistently great to work with throughout the process.
