I cannot say enough great things about Modehaus Bridal and Chelsea. I had a very loose vision of what I wanted my wedding dress to look like and she look my limited amount of direction and created my dream dress! Every part of the design process and fittings was seamless (despite me living in NYC). All I can say is that I will look back on my wedding day and always remember the memories of spending time with Chelsea beforehand and how amazing I felt the day of. It is difficult to find a dress these days that doesn't look like all the others but Chelsea's designs make every bride feel like one-of-a-kind.

I found Chelsea as a recommendation from my bridal boutique and I'm so glad we worked together for my wedding dress alterations! The dress fit like an absolute dream thanks to Chelsea. She did a phenomenal job and had excellent attention to detail, the bustle was easy to do (per my bridesmaids, haha) and looked beautiful, and was so flexible and easygoing. I'd highly recommend her to other brides!

Chelsea literally saved my dress - if I could give more than 5 stars I would. Long story short- I bought my dress secondhand and brought it to a seamstress that did not have great wedding dress experience and several parts of my dress looked a lot worse after she modified it including the hem, pleats, and bustle, and she said she wouldn't be able to do anything to help a couple small mesh tears I had. I was really upset that my dress would look sloppy for the wedding. I saw good reviews for Chelsea and brought the dress to her. She is AMAZING. She knew right away what needed to be done. She re-hemmed my dress in a way that made the errors the other seamstress had made look natural, she realigned the dress and redesigned the way the pleats fell so they looked, again, like it had been designed that way. She made my bustle look phenomenal - like a fairytale ballgown, and she hand-sewed an applique over the mesh tears so well, no one can tell that it wasn't always a part of the dress. I can't recommend her for alterations enough.

Chelsea is incredible. I brought her my dress three weeks before my wedding, after a different seamstress nearly ruined it. Despite the dress being really complicated (tons of layers and different fabrics), Chelsea understood exactly what the problems were and was able to rework the whole thing at an amazing speed. She spent tons of time with me making sure it was perfect and gave me confidence that she would get the dress back to how it was supposed to before the wedding - and she did. I can't recommend her enough.

Chelsea helped me design my dream wedding dress, and I am so happy that I chose to work with her! She took my broken thoughts and bits of pictures and put it together into the exact dress I wanted! It was stunning! She was a true partner throughout the process, and it was such a cool experience for my mom and I to bond leading up to my wedding day. Modehaus also has a beautiful line of dresses that I loved admiring each time we went in for our appointments. Amazing experience! Highly recommend!!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Chelsea at Modehaus was to work with. She's professional, warm, gifted, and funny. The wedding process can be stressful but I looked forward to each appointment with excitement, knowing that I would treasure those experiences. My childhood dream was to wear my grandmother's wedding dress. However, after 4 of my aunts wore it , the dress needed help getting back to its original glory. My emotional attachment to the dress was only heightened with the passing of my grandmother. Turning over such a precious garment can be difficult, but I knew it was in good hands with Modehaus. Chelsea brought the dress back to life and added so much value to our family heirloom. Before the transformation, it wasn't in any state that could be worn. Now, its something that not only appeals emotionally, it is also a stunning dress that the women in my family want to wear. I am so eternally grateful to Chelsea for making me feel beautiful at my wedding, and for giving me back a part of my grandmother to share in my special day.

Chelsea has worked on several bridesmaid dresses of mine and recently completed the alterations on my wedding gown. She is always a pleasure to work with. Timely, professional, and knowledgeable. In addition to being great at her line of work, her dazzling personality makes her a joy to be around. I'd highly recommend her for any alterations or custom design.

Chelsea created my dream dress with the shortest notice EVER. My husband and I planned our wedding in a little under a month and having her expertise put my mind at ease. I knew it would be exactly what I had envisioned and it was flawless! I recommend all of my soon to be bride friends to her, anyone looking for a beautiful, one of a kind dress should absolutely check her out.
