Colby and his team are absolutely excellent! We hired them for our June 29 wedding after our original vendor backed out. Throughout the planning process, Colby was such a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive and helpful - I sent him so many emails leading up to the weekend, and he never made me feel like I was sending too many or being annoying! He was always quick and thorough with his responses. He also gave us great guidance on what/how much alcohol to buy. On the day of, Colby and Evelyn were rockstars. They set up the bar so cute, the signature cocktails were amazing, and they handled our group of 140 guests with ease! We received multiple compliments from guests re Colby and Evelyn's professionalism and friendliness. I would absolutely recommend hiring them for your next event.

I started in the Private/ Special event industry while in college and have used my years of experience to create a one of a kind customer service experience. While working for numerous other company's in the same field, I realized an opportunity to make a better product/service. What I realized is that anyone can make a drink, but not everyone can create a one of a kind experience and provide superior customer service. I built Modern Bartender as a customer service company. Myself and my small team build friendships with our clients, and collaborate to custom mold a superior event service.

service was. Colby is communicative and proactive, but casual in all the right ways. He helped us dream up some awesome cocktails for our wedding based on our favorite liquors (we did a Whiskey Sour and Prickly Pear Margarita!). We bought all our alcohol at Costco with Colby advising us on quantities based on the size of our wedding and predicted drinking style of our guests. Modern bartender provided all the ice, coolers, cups, etc, making our lives soooo much easier. As we've continued debriefing our wedding with guests, one of the main things they bring up is how awesome the drinks and service were from Modern Bartender!! We had a small lighting issue (one of the outlets for our outdoor string lights was loose) and the lights kept going out. During our wedding, I watched Colby walk over multiple times to turn the lights back on. Modern Bartender will go above and beyond to make your wedding (or any other event) run smoothly!!!

Colby was so helpful and creative when discussing the cocktails and their different flavors. He gave me so many different options, and I was able to pick and choose what fit best with my vision. When the wedding day came, he made it extremely easy, and everyone loved the drinks that we had created. The Modern Bartender team was super energetic, fun and made all of our guests feel welcomed and loose :) I could really tell they enjoyed what they were doing and cared to go above and beyond for our guests! Also, the signature cocktails were unreal! We did a collaboration with Colby and made our own signature cocktails. They were all made with fresh home-made ingredients, tasted great and looked amazing!!

All the ladies at the bachelorette commented on how great the bartender did on the drinks. They were delicious and perfectly balanced. ir service! We live out of state, so communication was a big priority to me. He was highly communicative throughout two planning processes because of Covid rescheduling. He sent over specialty cocktail suggestions, beer and wine suggestions, and included pictures of what the drinks looked like so we could have a better idea of what we wanted at the bar. They provided us with two of their bartenders, Austin and Kylie, and they were able to keep up with our very rowdy crowd the entire night. We actually almost ran out of alcohol at one point (like I said… rowdy crowd), and Colby saved the day, bringing more alcohol to the middle of the desert in time to ensure no one was without a drink on the dance floor. Multiple guests mentioned how good the specialty drinks were and how fun and personable the bartenders were. We highly recommend Modern Bartender for your special day/event!
