Modern Bartender should be your go-to for any event, big or small! We had Colby and the team at our wedding in San Marcos, CA this fall and can't say enough about how fantastic the service was. Colby is communicative and proactive, but casual in all the right ways. He helped us dream up some awesome cocktails for our wedding based on our favorite liquors (we did a Whiskey Sour and Prickly Pear Margarita!). We bought all our alcohol at Costco with Colby advising us on quantities based on the size of our wedding and predicted drinking style of our guests. Modern bartender provided all the ice, coolers, cups, etc, making our lives soooo much easier. As we've continued debriefing our wedding with guests, one of the main things they bring up is how awesome the drinks and service were from Modern Bartender!! We had a small lighting issue (one of the outlets for our outdoor string lights was loose) and the lights kept going out. During our wedding, I watched Colby walk over multiple times to turn the lights back on. Modern Bartender will go above and beyond to make your wedding (or any other event) run smoothly!!!

For my wedding in April, I wanted to make customized cocktails that went along with my 3 cats. When I found Modern Bartender, it was immediately obvious I had found the right one. Colby was so helpful and creative when discussing the cocktails and their different flavors. He gave me so many different options, and I was able to pick and choose what fit best with my vision. When the wedding day came, he made it extremely easy, and everyone loved the drinks that we had created. Plus, he was an amazing bartender on the day, extremely friendly, and everyone was talking about it! I highly recommend!!

10/10 recommend!! Colby and his team were extraordinary from start to finish! Clean, simple communication, everything was very transparent and easy! I really appreciated the "custom fitting" approach. Colby, took his time learning our visions for the bar and executed at an even hire level than expected. The Modern Bartender team was super energetic, fun and made all of our guests feel welcomed and loose :) I could really tell they enjoyed what they were doing and cared to go above and beyond for our guests! Also, the signature cocktails were unreal! We did a collaboration with Colby and made our own signature cocktails. They were all made with fresh home-made ingredients, tasted great and looked amazing!!

As a wedding planner planning her own wedding, I knew exactly who I needed as my vendors. Colby is the best in the business. As a professional who works with him often, I knew what his planning style was, but it was fun to be on the other end. On wedding day, he and his team go above and beyond to create a beautiful day, and my wedding was no different. I’m telling you right now, you will not regret hiring Modern as your bartenders! We worked extensively with Colby to order our beer and wine and create our signature cocktails for our wedding. Colby was excellent to work with. He responded promptly and provided great suggestions and alternatives for our drinks. On the day of our wedding, everything went smoothly and our signature cocktails tasted great despite one of them not being prepared as planned.

Colby and his team were amazing on our wedding day. All contact I had with Colby prior to the wedding was incredibly professional and helpful. He was very accommodating and willing to answer my millions of questions. Cameron was our bartender for the day of and he did a great job, our guests were extremely satisfied.

Back in the day, I used to bartend with Colby and was so ecstatic when I discovered he had his own business! He was a pleasure to work with back then and was even better this time around. My husband and I got married in a remote location and had a large guest count, which naturally presented a bunch of obstacles. Colby was extremely communicative throughout the entire process and our guests couldn't stop talking about how much they loved his team. They took care of us the entire night and we are forever thankful.

No exaggeration: Our bartenders were the MVP's of our wedding! Our guests could not stop telling us how much they loved Edgar & Cameron. They were super friendly, attentive and had our guest's orders dialed in and ready before they even got to the bar. Modern Bartender is the best bartending service in Arizona. Colby and his team are professional, excellent bartenders, but most importantly, they KNOW customer service. Colby's communication is outstanding and he was very passionate about creating the best experience for our event. I recently helped coordinate a gorgeous styled bachelorette party. Modern Bartender was very professional, timely and of course brought the most gorgeous drinks. Yes, I mean gorgeous! I never knew drinks could look so pretty, almost too pretty to drink... almost. The drinks were displayed on a cart and really were a focal point. All the ladies at the bachelorette commented on how great the bartender did on the drinks. They were delicious and perfectly balanced. I would fully recommend this small business for any event big or small!

My husband and I were introduced to Modern Bartender through our wedding venue. They connected us with Colby, and we cannot say enough positive things about him, their team and their service! We live out of state, so communication was a big priority to me. He was highly communicative throughout two planning processes because of Covid rescheduling. He sent over specialty cocktail suggestions, beer and wine suggestions, and included pictures of what the drinks looked like so we could have a better idea of what we wanted at the bar. They provided us with two of their bartenders, Austin and Kylie, and they were able to keep up with our very rowdy crowd the entire night. We actually almost ran out of alcohol at one point (like I said… rowdy crowd), and Colby saved the day, bringing more alcohol to the middle of the desert in time to ensure no one was without a drink on the dance floor. Multiple guests mentioned how good the specialty drinks were and how fun and personable the bartenders were. We highly recommend Modern Bartender for your special day/event!
