Traci has been cutting my hair for years, and she always does the most amazing job with my curly hair. She's always so friendly and great to talk to, she always has solutions if my hair isn't doing what it should be, and I can't imagine going anywhere else. I've been planning for my wedding recently, and my fiancée (now wife) was looking for someone to do hair. Traci and Betsy both worked with my wife and she ended up with exactly what she was looking for on our wedding. I cannot recommend Modern Designs Salon enough for your usual haircut, or your wedding.

I had Betsy as Modern Designs Salon style my hair as well as my bridesmaids, my mom and my MIL hair for my wedding. Her work is BEYOND stunning!! She works efficiently and made sure we were running on time. Her attention to detail is amazing and I’d highly recommend her for updo’s for any special occasion!

Maddie has been with the salon for over 4 years after also graduating from International Institute of Cosmetology. She specializes in hair extensions and bridal hair. She also is very skilled with color and women and mens cuts. Maddie is also curly hair certified to cut,color, and style our guests with textured hair. She has great experience with brides during her career at Modern Designs Salon
Aimee Chapman
Owner/ Stylist
Aimee, the owner is a graduate from the International Institute of Cosmetology in 2008. She opened Modern Desings Salon in 2010. She specializes in color, her favorite is blondes. She also specializes in women and mens cuts and styling, curly/textured hair. Aimee has worked with many brides in her career as well as working with bridal and special occasion styling.

Betsy is a graduate from Paul Mitchell the School in North Haven. She has been behind the chair for over 10 years and joined Modern Designs Salon in 2016. She specializes in bridal hairstyling, special occasion styling, coloring services and womens cuts. She highly enjoys making her clients feel and look their best especially on their special day.
Amber Corriveau
Stylist
Amber has been behind the chair for close to 15 years. She specializes in curly/ textured hair, enjoying the creativity natural texture offers. In addition she specializes in integrating the healing aspects of yoga, meditation and reiki for her brides and guests alike as desired. Amber is a graduate of International Institute of Cosmetology.

Modern Design Salon worked quickly and efficiently on our wedding morning! They came to our house which made my morning that much easier! We finished well before the time we needed...

to leave for the venue and they stayed to touch up everyones hair and wish us well on our day. Each bridesmaid and mother left with exactly what they wanted. I can't thank them enough for their work with our wedding party and our day wouldn't have been the same without them.
