We have several professionals on hand to make sure we are there for you on your special day. With over 13,000 songs to choose from, ranging from the 40’s to now. We use top of the line, professional equipment, digital mixers with laptops, full dance lighting, and wireless microphones. We have a large selection of lights, effects, and equipment to suit all your needs. We also work with your hall staff, photographer, and videographer to make sure everything goes smooth and flawlessly. Modern Entertainment was amazing! They are reasonably priced, professional, and so much fun. We met with the DJ the week before our wedding to discuss details, and then on the day of everything went off without a hitch! I would highly recommend Modern Entertainment to anyone looking to book for their event!!

Tim totally rocked our reception. Very open to what we did and didn’t want. He kept the whole place dancing all night. I can’t recommend modern entertainment highly enough.

Nick did an incredible job for our wedding reception on May 13! He was very professional, friendly, and explained his business model to us in great detail. He was very easy to work with, and had an extensive form to fill out that allowed our wedding reception to run smoothly! He also tweaked one of the packages so we could stay in our price-range and still get the amount of time we needed. We met with him twice in person, once to find out more about Modern Entertainments services, and another time to go over our wedding time-line and song choices. He completely understands and takes the responsibility that running the order of events and communicating with other wedding vendors at the wedding reception is up to the DJ, and he did an amazing job at it! He kept the music at a great sound level for all ages, and also adjusted the lights perfectly before the reception started to they did not pester guests. He checked in with my husband and I during the reception to make sure the order of dances were still good and if we had changed our minds for any games that we had previously talked to him about. He kept guests dancing on the floor the whole time, and if it started to empty out, he coordinated something fun that began with my husband and I (such as a dance line-up) to get everyone back on the floor (which was a blast!! and resulted in some of my favorite pictures from that night!) Two days after our wedding we had guests asking us for our DJ, because they were so impressed with his performance at our wedding! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND and were so happy with our service!

Modern Entertainment was a DJ and wedding planner all in one! The expertise our vendor had with the location of our wedding helped us tremendously. He was able to tell us which layout worked best based on our seating arrangement and what had worked well with past weddings. I didn't realize how important a DJ was for the pace of the day until our wedding. Our DJ was great at keeping things on track, keeping us on time and making sure there were no lulls. He was organized, professional and fun! The dance floor was full the whole night and he was able to play everything that was requested on a whim. I would highly recommend Modern Entertainment!

Great entertainment! Kept people on the dance floor the whole time. Dj was very down to Earth and friendly. Suited the night to our style and made it a blast!
