Modern Fusion - Catering

ent beyond just pasta or cauliflower steaks.  Chef Angelo, and the whole team at Modern Fusion, completely blew our expectations away. From the moment we first reached out, he was responsive, collaborative, and patient in answering all the questions we threw at him.  When it came time to plan our menu, he worked with us to adjust their dishes to suit our (somewhat picky) tastes.  “Can this be made vegetarian?” “Can you make sure there are no nuts in anything?” “Can this dish be made a little less spicy?” Whatever we needed, Angelo assured us they could make it happen. We also threw out an idea that more or less combined two dishes. He was not only eager to accommodate our request, he seemed just as excited at the idea of the dish as we were. These early interactions went a long way in putting us at ease throughout the planning process. Then we had our tasting. Every single thing we had was so good that we were worried we were going to be disappointed come the wedding day. We thought, “There’s no way they’re going to be able to make everything *that* good for 100+ people!” We were so very, very wrong.  Did the first guest we saw at cocktail hour say, “Congratulations!” or “Let’s take a picture?” No, I’m pretty sure they said “This food is so good, I’m already on my third empanada.” Which was exactly what we wanted to hear. And we continued to hear comments like that all night long. From the moment we reached out straight through to the end of the reception, Chef Angelo and his staff went above and beyond in every way imaginable. The day could not have gone better and we owe so much of that to them. Now I’m just trying to think up other occasions we could have catered so I can eat more of their incredible food.

ly planning an event for 80 people was made smooth and stress-free. Angelo's professionalism and expertise truly stood out. He was incredibly responsive, detail-oriented, and proactive in ensuring that every aspect was covered. From menu planning to execution, he provided peace of mind throughout the entire process. The event itself was a huge success, and the food was absolutely delicious. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Modern Fusion Catering!

choices, tastings), but the food was absolutely amazing. We would recommend Modern Fusion wholeheartedly for any of your catering needs!

and salmon entrees, were simply outstanding. Our family and friends couldn't stop raving about how delicious the food was. What truly stood out was their impeccable service. During a cake-cutting hiccup, their team didn't hesitate to step in and handle everything smoothly. They were constantly checking in on us throughout the night to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel incredibly well taken care of. The presentation was also top-notch. The tables were set beautifully, adding an elegant touch to our celebration. Chef Angelo and his team not only provided fantastic food but also exceptional service, making our special day even more memorable. We highly recommend Modern Fusion Catering for any event. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and delicious cuisine made our wedding day perfect.

credible. They were also extremely willing to work with our guests dietary needs. I would 100% recommend them and work with them again.

at they said they would do when they said they would do it, professional, polite, and on-time. They were more expensive than other caterers we looked at and worth every single penny of it. There is no value to put on not having to worry about any aspect of the wedding food - and cleanup!! HIghly recommend these folks.

linary expertise. Beyond the delicious food, Chef Angelo's professionalism and seamless planning process made our special day stress-free. I highly recommend Modern Fusion Catering for an exceptional dining experience at any event.

ism and the most amazing passed hor devours and plated dinners ever!! You may think I'm crazy but give them a try and you won't be disappointed!

d eat. He worked with us to develop a creative, delicious menu that did not contain any of my allergens which was a dream come true. Chef Angelo answered all of my questions and was able to reassure me throughout the whole process starting with a food tasting. All of our guests have been raving about our wedding meal and said our food was the best they have had! Not only did I feel comfortable but could eat everything on the menu which was so special and I will forever remember. I highly recommend Modern Fusion catering and his tostadas are to die for!!

ng sure that my husband and I always had appetizers and that we got exactly what we wanted for dinner. Angelo did our wedding as well as our rehearsal dinner and after party. All of the food was by far the best we've ever had! Our guests couldn't stop saying how great everything was. I HIGHLY recommend Modern Fusion!!

(mostly) vegan menu. The food on our wedding day was absolutely incredible. Our guests could not stop raving about the food at our wedding, and could not believe that most of it was vegan! They especially loved our potato-jalapeno croquette and BBQ jackfruit sliders. Angelo was also so accommodating to my friends with Celiac's disease. I would absolutely recommend hiring Modern Fusion Catering for your day.

recommend!

rovide so much to our tables and meals- not just the delicious foods! He was also super flexible and accommodating throughout the entire COVID process, when we needed to change the date and many things were up in the air! Thank you Angelo!

d happen for our wedding !! Everyone was so impressed by the food that was provided for us . Chef Angelo was beyond helpful always asking us if we needed help and lending a hand when needed !! Couldn’t thank him and his staff enough for creating such a wonderful experience for us !! Highly recommend for any food service !

der for us! We would use them again.

TIRE menu. Then we next set up our tasting with some family members. We knew from right then and there that he was our caterer. He blew is out of the water with his knowledge for not only food but for his own menu. He knew exactly what to pair with what and what was going to taste the best. Fast foward to our rehearsal dinner where we booked him for the brick oven pizza. He was outside in the rain all night with a smile on his face. The pizza was so amazing and my guests loved the different idea for the dinner. Then for our wedding night…. wow, just WOW. Absolutely everyone told me how the food was the BEST they ever had at a wedding. Which was the most important thing to me. We chose the buffet so people could go up for seconds. They were all so stuffed by the end with great food. His team was so friendly and everyone made me feel so special. HIGHLY recommend angelo and the modern fusion team for your wedding!!!

comfortable leading up to our big day, but also gained the trust of my parents and in-laws the moment they met at the tasting! The food and service were all amazing. So happy to have worked with Modern Fusion!

e and was what we wanted. And most importantly the food was terrific and the best I've had at a wedding!

er understanding of our time constraints and did his best to make sure we had the best experience possible. The day of the wedding his crew was so wonderful and kind to ourselves and our guests and the food was amazing! We still have family members taking about it! If you're looking for a Caterer in the valley, Chef Angelo is your guy!

ything was presented beautifully and the day went flawlessly. Angelo & team took care of all the bartending, hors d'oeruvres during cocktail hour, plated salads and buffet for dinner. The apps were plentiful during cocktail hour. They provided all of the dinner ware, too. All of the food was so delicious. He really goes out of his way to take it to the next level- it's not just a buffet. He trains his staff on plating so that each guests plate looks beautiful. Of course, they do plated options as well. The value for his services is insane. I would hire him again in a heart beat. He was a joy to work with and my most reliable vendor of the wedding, which was amazing considering amazing food & drinks are the backbone of any good wedding.

and impress our non-vegan guests. Well he really put my worries aside the first meeting we had with him. He kept reiterating that if we could imagine it, then he would make it happen to the best of his ability. We ended up with a mostly custom menu that was absolutely amazing. Our guests raved about the food all night and several have been telling me that they are going to try more plant based foods because they were that amazed with how good it was. Food aside, his entire staff was incredibly professional and really made our reception a ton of fun. His bartenders were some of the best bartenders we've ever met. They seemed to be having just as much fun as we were during the reception. Overall, we would highly recommend them. I don't think you could get anyone better than them for your wedding/party.

ly creates delicious food but provides all the guests with an amazing experience. Angelo and his team did both . . . and did it at such a superior level, that our guests are still raving about the food! He made every aspect of planning a truly tailored menu easy and made accomodating our family members' serious food allergies a breeze. Angelo was easy to communicate with, super supportive and blew everyone's mind with dinner and service most people don't expect for a backyard wedding. We're truly so thankful to have Angelo and his team for our wedding!

le suggetions on rehearsal menu, wedding menu choice, day of logistics, and after party ideas. So many of our guests complimented our event and loved the food!

worked so well with us by coming up with meals that can work with both cultures. He made an Indian dish for the wedding, which he had never made before and it was a hit! His appetizers, salad and sides were amazing!! His entree was absolutely delicious. His cannolis were fabulous! I would definitely recommend this caterer.

he entire time from helping find a venue to creating the perfect menu. He was extremely patient with us during the entire planning process! Because of the pandemic we had to make alot of changes and Angelo helped us make it all work! All of our wedding guests LOVED the food! We would HIGHLY recommend Chef Angelo and his team to anyone having any type of event. Absolute perfection!

amazing!

ng menu—a steak or chicken, but hoped for a more eclectic menu bursting with more flavor and Angelo 1000% delivered. Presentation is amazing, so responsive, delicious food with options outside the traditional chicken and steak (although I’m sure he makes those well too!) We hired Angelo’s team for our rehearsal dinner for 90+ people (live brick oven pizza pies), for our wedding (buffet style), and wedding after party (delicious party food). Angelo is an amazing chef, but also so wonderful to work with before and during the wedding—accommodating, friendly, fun, and professional.

uch a natural flow in the schedule of our wedding day. We got married at our home and literally built and designed everything from the ground up. Angelo and his incredible team cooked for 240 guests inclusive of passed hors d'oeuvres, three course dinner, and late night brick oven pizza by building a mobile kitchen on our property. The food was INCREDIBLE and his energy was so contagious we just loved working with him from the first time we met him through til our big day.

est menu for our event. Dinner was wonderful, and the late night trays were a huge hit. Our venue did not have a full kitchen, but he brought his truck and his staff went out of their way to provide fresh, hot food. We're so happy we went with Modern! Fusion!

we were looking for something a little different than just a traditional wedding menu. Our firends and family are still talking about how amazing the food was. We would recommend Modern Fusion to anyone!

table seatings, bar set ups, etc, etc. His staff was very professional and friendly. Angelo and crew made cocktail hour, dinner and clean up look easy for 100 people - they provided impeccable service to all of our guests. Everyone at our wedding was complimenting the caterer, and many went back to the buffet for seconds! If you're looking for the best caterer in Lehigh Valley, Modern Fusion is it.

elo was great to work with! Very responsive and always helpful. Everyone could not stop talking about how good the food was at our wedding, and the staff were really kind and considerate.

-town planning. I wanted food that would be delicious and also friendly to vegetarians and theirs was. The staff was very friendly and professional and even managed to get me, the bride, a plate amid all the lovely chaos. Highly recommended

g. There was nothing that compared to Modern Fusion’s diversified menu, price point, and quality that chef Angelo exemplified. He was very accommodating as he met us halfway between Bangor and Philadelphia for our initial consultation. Together we crafted a menu that we were excited for and built it around a budget that was more than affordable. He even crafted a special plate from our menu to accommodate one of our guests that had special dietary needs, and personally sought out that guest on the wedding day to ensure their plate met their needs. Angelo made himself available throughout the entire process, checked-in with us when necessary, and the test taste just confirmed our confidence in him. As for our wedding day, Angelo and his team were super-efficient and well-prepared the day of. Our table settings looked great even with doing a buffet. They had a small bread plate with napkin folded in a way that filled the table space beautifully. With doing a buffet, they had staff plating each station which left the plates coming out looking just as if it were a plated meal. My wife and I got a large plate delivered to our head table right as dinner was announced. We had a sample of everything being served. The gesture was much appreciated. The whole night people raved about the food and still do. We frequently hear that “this was the best food we have ever had at a wedding,” and although maybe biased, we totally agree. We are forever grateful for Angelo and his professional team. We never had to think twice about our caterer. They were veterans, had everything under control from the moment they arrived until they left, and provided everything necessary for a complete dining experience. We cannot speak highly enough of both Angelo and his staff for their wonderful dining experience and professionalism. Thank you!

ofessional but personal and easygoing. He really personalized every aspect of our catering to us and how we wanted it. Modern fusion catering was the ONLY caterer that told me they could do what I was asking for without compromise and they really came through! The tasting was amazing! Angelo was available any time I texted him with a question and responded quickly which was SO NICE! They even worked through a clogged sink during the reception which our venue apparently was not very helpful with. Angelo hurt his knee just prior to our wedding but still showed up and stayed the entire time. All our guests loved the food and still tell me how amazing it was. I could go on and on but really you need to just stop reading my review and book Modern Fusion Catering because they are THE BEST!

ur wedding but also for our rehearsal dinner the night before. If your looking for food that will WOW your guests and put a smile on everyones face don't hesitate to book with Modern Fusion. On time and professional and helped in making the perfect pairings for our wedding. Our family is from Puerto Rico and Haiti and guests are still talking about the how the food was flavorful and mouthwatering from begging to end. Modern Fusion, thank you for introducing our pallets to flavors and foods that were unforgettable !

ions, he made us a test of his food in February and we were very happy with that, the taste, the texture of his food was what encouraged us to choose him. He let us make a payment plan and he was always communicating with us about the details of the party. the day arrived November 17,2018 Angelo was there coordinating all the details of the food, everything was perfect, my family and friends were satisfied with the dinner and they asked us who had cooked, many approached him to congratulate him, I recommend Angelo and I Hope to work with him again in a future .

e was willing to work in less than ideal circumstances. I had a barn wedding and the only accommodations was a small milk house with some tables and a fridge, there wasn't a stove or a sink, but he made it work! We had beautiful salmon and ribs and they were delicious! I would 100% recommend him.

edding reception at my parent's house, and all of our friends and family raved about the food and service. I would definitely use Mediterranean Catering again for future events! ~ Kara & George Young

and verify my order, and he was always available to speak in person, making me feel very comfortable that I did not need to worry about the food. That was lovely for me because I generally take on that task! The food was delicious, and the delivery service was exactly as planned. I would recommend Mediterranean Catering and Chef Angelo without reservation for your next special event.

right from our first meeting with him. His food and staff were exceptional, 5 stars is not enough to rate his work. At our tasting he sealed the deal and won my heart with everything he created for us that day. Our guest were very astonished as to how good the food was and the service. Moving forward for any event we may have as well as my co-workers and family Angelo is our go to guy. We pray nothing but blessings over him.
