We had the pleasure of working with Chef Angelo and Modern Fusion Catering for our wedding, and they exceeded all our expectations. The passed hors d'oeuvres and our chicken, beef, and salmon entrees, were simply outstanding. Our family and friends couldn't stop raving about how delicious the food was. What truly stood out was their impeccable service. During a cake-cutting hiccup, their team didn't hesitate to step in and handle everything smoothly. They were constantly checking in on us throughout the night to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel incredibly well taken care of. The presentation was also top-notch. The tables were set beautifully, adding an elegant touch to our celebration. Chef Angelo and his team not only provided fantastic food but also exceptional service, making our special day even more memorable. We highly recommend Modern Fusion Catering for any event. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and delicious cuisine made our wedding day perfect.

Modern Fusion was, simply put, amazing. All our guests told us they had never had food that good at a wedding. I cannot recommend Chef Angelo enough, he was incredible to work with! I have severe food allergies and it was really important to have the meal for our wedding be something I could eat. He worked with us to develop a creative, delicious menu that did not contain any of my allergens which was a dream come true. Chef Angelo answered all of my questions and was able to reassure me throughout the whole process starting with a food tasting. All of our guests have been raving about our wedding meal and said our food was the best they have had! Not only did I feel comfortable but could eat everything on the menu which was so special and I will forever remember. I highly recommend Modern Fusion catering and his tostadas are to die for!!

As a vegan, I had a hard time finding a caterer that was willing to accommodate me. When my husband (!!!) and I first spoke to Angelo, he said that he was excited about creating a (mostly) vegan menu. The food on our wedding day was absolutely incredible. Our guests could not stop raving about the food at our wedding, and could not believe that most of it was vegan! They especially loved our potato-jalapeno croquette and BBQ jackfruit sliders. Angelo was also so accommodating to my friends with Celiac's disease. I would absolutely recommend hiring Modern Fusion Catering for your day.

Angelo was so awesome and flexible every step of the way during the wedding planning process! The food was DELICIOUS both in the tasting and the day of my wedding. He was able to provide so much to our tables and meals- not just the delicious foods! Where do i even start with a review for modern fusion catering. Angelo was absolutely wonderful from the very start. We started off with a coffee meeting, and we talked over his ENTIRE menu. Then we next set up our tasting with some family members. We knew from right then and there that he was our caterer. He blew is out of the water with his knowledge for not only food but for his own menu. He knew exactly what to pair with what and what was going to taste the best. Fast foward to our rehearsal dinner where we booked him for the brick oven pizza. He was outside in the rain all night with a smile on his face. The pizza was so amazing and my guests loved the different idea for the dinner. Then for our wedding night…. wow, just WOW. Absolutely everyone told me how the food was the BEST they ever had at a wedding. Which was the most important thing to me. We chose the buffet so people could go up for seconds. They were all so stuffed by the end with great food. His team was so friendly and everyone made me feel so special. HIGHLY recommend angelo and the modern fusion team for your wedding!!!

Angelo not only made myself and now husband comfortable leading up to our big day, but also gained the trust of my parents and in-laws the moment they met at the tasting! Chef Angelo and his crew were amazing! He worked with us to create a menu that made sense, tasted amazing together and that met all of the specific dietary needs we had. He was super understanding of our time constraints and did his best to make sure we had the best experience possible. PERFECTION! Angelo & his team completely crushed it. He has a such a diverse menu that you can really customize it to whatever you like. Our guests were raving about the food. Everything was presented beautifully and the day went flawlessly. Angelo & team took care of all the bartending, hors d'oeruvres during cocktail hour, plated salads and buffet for dinner. The apps were plentiful during cocktail hour. They provided all of the dinner ware, too. All of the food was so delicious. He really goes out of his way to take it to the next level- it's not just a buffet. He trains his staff on plating so that each guests plate looks beautiful. Of course, they do plated options as well. The value for his services is insane. I would hire him again in a heart beat. He was a joy to work with and my most reliable vendor of the wedding, which was amazing considering amazing food & drinks are the backbone of any good wedding.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Angelo with Modern Fusion Catering. I was very worried that we would not be able to find someone who would be able to do a full vegan menu and impress our non-vegan guests. Well he really put my worries aside the first meeting we had with him. He kept reiterating that if we could imagine it, then he would make it happen to the best of his ability. We ended up with a mostly custom menu that was absolutely amazing. Our guests raved about the food all night and several have been telling me that they are going to try more plant based foods because they were that amazed with how good it was. Food aside, his entire staff was incredibly professional and really made our reception a ton of fun. His bartenders were some of the best bartenders we've ever met. They seemed to be having just as much fun as we were during the reception. Overall, we would highly recommend them. I don't think you could get anyone better than them for your wedding/party.

Literally one of the best chef I have ever come in contact with! The chef is so personable and the sweetest guy we've met! I am Indian and my now husband is Puerto Rican, and chef worked so well with us by coming up with meals that can work with both cultures. He made an Indian dish for the wedding, which he had never made before and it was a hit! His appetizers, salad and sides were amazing!! His entree was absolutely delicious. His cannolis were fabulous! I would definitely recommend this caterer.

Thank goodness for Modern Fusion Catering! One bite of an appetizer during our tasting and we were sold (crab stuffed mushrooms). We would’ve been happy with your traditional wedding menu—a steak or chicken, but hoped for a more eclectic menu bursting with more flavor and Angelo 1000% delivered. Presentation is amazing, so responsive, delicious food with options outside the traditional chicken and steak (although I’m sure he makes those well too!) We hired Angelo’s team for our rehearsal dinner for 90+ people (live brick oven pizza pies), for our wedding (buffet style), and wedding after party (delicious party food). Angelo is an amazing chef, but also so wonderful to work with before and during the wedding—accommodating, friendly, fun, and professional.

Working with Angelo at Modern! Fusion for our Wedding last September was such a fun and enjoyable experience. He worked with us to not only to choose our food but also formulate such a natural flow in the schedule of our wedding day. We got married at our home and literally built and designed everything from the ground up. Angelo and his incredible team cooked for 240 guests inclusive of passed hors d'oeuvres, three course dinner, and late night brick oven pizza by building a mobile kitchen on our property. The food was INCREDIBLE and his energy was so contagious we just loved working with him from the first time we met him through til our big day.

Chef Angelo provided excellent service for our wedding. He really takes care of everything from appetizers to coffee to late night food. He did so much work to help us choose the best menu for our event. Dinner was wonderful, and the late night trays were a huge hit. Our venue did not have a full kitchen, but he brought his truck and his staff went out of their way to provide fresh, hot food. We're so happy we went with Modern! Fusion!

The best choice we made for our wedding, Chef Angelo went above and beyond our expectations. He was easy to work with and stayed within our budget. From beginning to end, Angelo was fantastic. Not only was his food delicious, but for our wedding at our home he helped us figure out the correct amounts of alcohol, how to do the table seatings, bar set ups, etc, etc. His staff was very professional and friendly. Angelo and crew made cocktail hour, dinner and clean up look easy for 100 people - they provided impeccable service to all of our guests. Modern Fusion! Catering exceeded our expectations from the very beginning. We looked through about 8-10 different caterers and were disappointed in both the menu options and pricing. There was nothing that compared to Modern Fusion’s diversified menu, price point, and quality that chef Angelo exemplified. He was very accommodating as he met us halfway between Bangor and Philadelphia for our initial consultation. Together we crafted a menu that we were excited for and built it around a budget that was more than affordable. He even crafted a special plate from our menu to accommodate one of our guests that had special dietary needs, and personally sought out that guest on the wedding day to ensure their plate met their needs. Angelo made himself available throughout the entire process, checked-in with us when necessary, and the test taste just confirmed our confidence in him. As for our wedding day, Angelo and his team were super-efficient and well-prepared the day of. Our table settings looked great even with doing a buffet. They had a small bread plate with napkin folded in a way that filled the table space beautifully. With doing a buffet, they had staff plating each station which left the plates coming out looking just as if it were a plated meal. My wife and I got a large plate delivered to our head table right as dinner was announced. We had a sample of everything being served. The gesture was much appreciated. The whole night people raved about the food and still do. We frequently hear that “this was the best food we have ever had at a wedding,” and although maybe biased, we totally agree. We are forever grateful for Angelo and his professional team. We never had to think twice about our caterer. They were veterans, had everything under control from the moment they arrived until they left, and provided everything necessary for a complete dining experience. We cannot speak highly enough of both Angelo and his staff for their wonderful dining experience and professionalism. Thank you!

I can't even express how happy we were with Angelo and his crew. From the first time I met Angelo through to the follow up after the wedding Angelo's communication was quick and professional but personal and easygoing. He really personalized every aspect of our catering to us and how we wanted it. Modern fusion catering was the ONLY caterer that told me they could do what I was asking for without compromise and they really came through! The tasting was amazing! Angelo was available any time I texted him with a question and responded quickly which was SO NICE! They even worked through a clogged sink during the reception which our venue apparently was not very helpful with. Angelo hurt his knee just prior to our wedding but still showed up and stayed the entire time. All our guests loved the food and still tell me how amazing it was. I could go on and on but really you need to just stop reading my review and book Modern Fusion Catering because they are THE BEST!

Modern Fusion was able to present exceptional dishes not only for our wedding but also for our rehearsal dinner the night before. From the first time we met Angelo, he was a very kind and professional person, he helped us a lot with the budget we had for our daughter's Quinceañera and he gave us different options, he made us a test of his food in February and we were very happy with that, the taste, the texture of his food was what encouraged us to choose him. He let us make a payment plan and he was always communicating with us about the details of the party. the day arrived November 17,2018 Angelo was there coordinating all the details of the food, everything was perfect, my family and friends were satisfied with the dinner and they asked us who had cooked, many approached him to congratulate him, I recommend Angelo and I Hope to work with him again in a future .

Angelo was wonderful to work with from the start. He was willing to work with a tight budget, he had tons of options for us to chose from the menu. The best part though, was that he was willing to work in less than ideal circumstances. I had a barn wedding and the only accommodations was a small milk house with some tables and a fridge, there wasn't a stove or a sink, but he made it work! We had beautiful salmon and ribs and they were delicious! I would 100% recommend him.

Mediterranean Catering is absolutely amazing! After we got engaged we knew right away that we wanted Angelo to cater the event. My wife knew him from years back when this incredible company was just a dream. All I can say is that I’m beyond thrilled it came to fruition for him. The food was absolutely incredible, his menus super flexible, and he went way above to make our day as amazing as possible! It must be magic because he took a kitchen that could barely handle a grilled cheese sandwich and made tray upon tray of perfect food! Angelo also handled a horrendous “event coordinator” in an extremely professional manner. His staff is equally amazing and shares his desire to make your day better than you could possibly imagine. I wouldn’t imagine using any other catering service and if you want the best you won’t either!

I can't thank Chef Angelo enough for coming through in a pinch. I needed pork and chicken kebobs for 100 and he was accommodating, professional and always available to answer questions and concerns. The food was delivered warm and ready to serve and everything was delicious! Who knew you could get excellent Mediterranean food, Greek in this instance, in the Poconos?

Angelo and his team were the most amazing group of professionals that we have ever encountered. From the selection process all the way through the end of the event, they were available for every question, concern, and adaptation we had or needed. When it came to the food, I had at least 30 different people express how amazingly they enjoyed the food. Several people asked their card at the wedding. Most importantly, you could tell that catering and food creation was not just a job, but Angelo's passion, and it was expressed in his craft. Angelo went above and beyond with catering our wedding last weekend. I met him back in January and from day one he was very easy to talk to. We had a taste testing to pick out what food we wanted and it was all delicious! We has very reasonable prices. Throughout the wedding planning process Angelo was always super sweet. He would randomly text us to see how everything was going and to ask if there was anything he could do to help. The day of the wedding he checked in on us periodically to see how everything was going. He made sure that we had a plate of appetizer on our table for us when we walked into the reception. His staff was also amazing. They set everything up nicely- I purchased linen napkins and they folded them all and put them out for us. If they saw me coming up to the bar they would get my drink ready before I even got there. At the end of the night I tried to help clean up but they would take anything they saw me carrying. People have raved to me already about his amazing penne vodka (which is what sold me to begin with!) and everything else as well. Thank you so much Angelo for everything you did for us!! I would highly recommend Angelo to anyone looking for a caterer for the extraordinary food, affordable prices, and exceptional customer service!!!
