Every single song, every note, every vocal and instrument sounded absolutely perfect. All of guests were blown away, especially a few of our guests who are professional musicians. At one point during ‘We Found Love’ my friend turned to me and asked if they were DJing Rihanna- nope!! It was Janelle’s amazing vocals. You won’t find a more fun or better sounding band. Modern Luxe was also a dream to work with. Ian, the bandleader, set up a call with us where we ran through the whole night. He made great suggestions of songs for ceremony music and they hit the entire wedding night timeline exactly right. Modern Luxe was the best part of our wedding and we could not recommend them more. We’ll be eternally grateful to them for making our wedding the most fun party we’ve ever been to! THANK YOU MODERN LUXE!

being on lock down, having absolutely nothing else to do, and I was searching for bands. I came across Modern Luxe, I loved what I saw, so I emailed them. Their agent got back to me and we had a lengthy conversation. I wanted to talk to my parents and husband though, before I made a move. Forgetting that I had already inquired, thinking I only saw their videos and remember how much I liked them, I send an email again to Modern Luxe. As everyone knows, wedding planning is insane, so I was doing so much at once. So, the agent calls again and asked if I had any additional questions. I was so confused what she meant by additional questions, because as far as I was concerned, I had never I inquired another this band! To my surprise, I inquired about the same band not two but three times! In my head, I realized, this had to be a sign that this was totally meant to be! And it absolutely was meant to be in every single aspect! After I showed my parents and husband the band, we all agreed that they were the best fit for us! They were a younger group, who sang anything and everything, from oldies to contemporary to rap to even country-we truly found our match! What was also extremely important to us in finding a band, was that the band would sing every song, and would not over DJ, since, I wanted a live band. Modern Luxe sang every single song, including our first dance song and every song before, after & in between that! To be honest, the female lead singer Janelle just brought the band to a different level in my opinion. The male lead singer Andre is just as amazing, but there was something unique about Janelle! Fast forward, I called the band around 7 am on a Saturday morning because I was confused about something. Right away, Ian, the band manager and instrument player answered the phone. From the first second we talked, we absolutely clicked, it was like we had been friends for forever. Ian ended the conversation with “here’s my cell and reach out to me anytime.” To me, that was so very important, because it showed me that this guy really cares, not only about his band members, but he actually cares about me and my wishes and he cares about putting on the best show for me, my family and my husband! You guys were the absolute best! We are still hearing over a month later from our guests how amazing your band! People are asking me how I found you guys, and I tell everyone I found them by chance and I am so happy I did! Modern Luxe, you guys made our night complete. This is not your old wedding band that plays the same old wedding hits and then throws in weird renditions of today’s music. Modern Luxe is a young, exciting, energetic band that can play just about any song or genre of music and put their own spin on it to make it sound amazing. Each member of the band is an extremely talented musician, and I can honestly say they are one of the most impressive live performing bands that I have ever heard. Modern luxe will bring an energy to your wedding that is unmatched. Just about every single guest we spoke to after the wedding mentioned Modern Luxe as being the best wedding band they’ve ever heard. Aside from their talent, the band members are genuinely good people that love what they do and clearly have fun working with one another, which shows on stage. They were all more than willing to go out of their way to make our day special, whether it was by learning new songs or by the custom first dance song that they put together for us. Ian (the band leader) is great to work with as well. He is responsive and attentive to details, yet laid back and easy to work with, and he will do absolutely anything in his power to make the day flawless. We dealt with a COVID wedding postponement, and the band was awesome to deal with throughout the unfortunate situation and they were extremely flexible. We know plenty of other couples who booked other bands and were not so fortunate. We will always remember our wedding night as being one of the most fun nights of our lives, and modern luxe is responsible for a huge part of that. The two lead singers are some of the most talented vocalists I heard in my wedding search and sounded nothing short of flawless on the day of. The instrumentalists were perfect as well. My husband and I had to move our wedding for over 1 year and this was well worth the wait. Modern Luxe is a gem amongst many wedding bands in the tri-state area who seemed to focus more on themselves/selling their "product" as opposed to being there truly for the bride and groom. Modern Luxe is not only well-priced but a steal for the value that we got on our wedding day. I still cannot believe how lucky that we got with them. One of the sweetest things is how attentive the band leader was with communicating to our venue and myself in the days leading up to the wedding day. This is one of the most important things for brides to put them at ease and build confidence that their vision will come to life, or at least I know it was for me. From the oldies to songs from 2021, they really know how to play it all and do it well! Everyone was on the dancefloor. At one point, I felt like I was at a concert- truly a fun time.

I got in touch with Ian, the band leader, who was responsive quickly, and we were invited to come see them rehearse. This was new for my family and I (unfortunately my then fiancé couldn’t make it) since they other bands we had seen were at a large convention style setting. I loved getting to know MLX in an intimate setting, allowing us to ask questions and request songs. They were all so friendly and just ultimately loved playing together- it was a no brainer that we were sold on them. After getting postponed due to Covid, Ian and his band were more than accommodating, which made us feel like they were on our team. The months leading up to our big day, Ian had reached out multiple times to check in and make sure every loose end was tied up. The band even learned a few songs for our special dances! Once the the day had finally arrived and passed, my husband and I and all of our guests were absolutely blown away by their performance. Every song was done with talent and soul, and their passion bled through for everyone to see. Our choreographed first dance was a highlight for us (Always Remember Us This Way by Lady Gaga) as well as my first dance with my dad (My Little Girl into American Girl). Everyone is still talking about that encore (Bohemian Rhapsody!!!). I could go on and on but to sum it up- BOOK THIS BAND. They did not disappoint and I am already looking into future dates to see them at a public event. Thank you for making our wedding EPIC!

They danced for the first time in 36 years and were having the time of their lives (as was every guest). I swear our dance floor was overflowing the whole night! From the stripped down versions of our favorite songs during the ceremony, to the beautiful renditions of our first dance songs and the epic dance party that followed for the next 3-4 hours. They know how to weave through all the emotions one wants during the best 6 hours of their lives. At 11 pm when our venue flicked the lights on, the crowd erupted into a "1 more song" chant. Modern Luxe played the most EPIC version of Bohemian Rhapsody that perfectly captured what they do best - which is everything, the two lead singers and the entire supporting band are some of the best artists we've ever heard live and we'd live this night over again 100 times if we could. We couldn't be happier we found them.

The one piece of feedback we have is that we feel they would benefit from a full-time band manager. Currently, one of the band members, Ian, is also acting as a manager, and his communication was a little slow at times. This was certainly not a deal breaker, but it just seemed like he could use a little more help. As the couple, it would be great to be more informed earlier in the planning process about the details of song selection and day-of details, but it felt like there was not enough bandwidth for that to happen. For his sake, I think they'd benefit from some additional help. Hiring Modern Luxe was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day - you absolutely won't regret it!!!

hey were leading up to the wedding. They had performed at our venue of Front & Palmer before and were excited to return. We added three horns to the set as well which they had recommended to us as well. Along with the extra songs they were willing to learn including our first dance and a choice from each of us, they also allowed my wife the microphone to sing along to an additional song. It was beyond perfect and I couldn't imagine any other option for that evening. As a matter of fact, this is the only option.

I was afraid a live band might be overwhelming or they wouldn't fit (6 people + instruments), but they were PERFECT. Everyone LOVED the band. They were talked about for weeks after.

We didn't get to see Modern Luxe before we booked them, but just watching their promos and YouTube videos and reading all of the reviews, we knew they would be amazing. They were nothing short of amazing on our day. We booked a guitarist, pianist, and vocalist from the band to play during our ceremony, which was perfect, we loved having live music for the ceremony. We then booked them to DJ our cocktail hour and then the band played for our reception. It worked out so great that they could accommodate all of this on our day! Every band member was so nice and energetic. They truly made us feel special on our day and had everyone on the dance floor all night! The band members did a great job reading the crowd and keeping everyone entertained. Everyone at our wedding keeps telling us how great our band was and we've had several guests interested in booking them for future events. We cannot thank the band and ECE enough for the kindness, good energy, and great performance that they gave us on our wedding day. If you're reading this, no need to look any further, book this band ASAP. You won't regret it and you will have the time of your life!

That day, we decided we needed them at our wedding and we picked our date purely based on Modern Luxe's availability. They lived up to our expectation. The amount of compliments we got about them were overwhelming. We passed their name and contact number around to future potential wedding parties. We even had one bride jokingly say they need to cancel their band and book Modern Luxe. I hope she does because I’ll be there, front row, rocking out. Modern Luxe was so easy to work with. They accommodated us and even learned several songs that weren't on their list, giving that sentimental touch we wanted at certain moments. To Modern Luxe, we feel the need to express our most sincere gratitude. Besides my bride Shannon, you were the best part of the night. I don't think I said hello to everyone at our wedding, because simply we could not leave the dance floor. The party was non stop, which was exactly what we wanted. To all of you, thank you. That wasn't me. I didn't give it much thought. As I got older though I did start to think about it a little & the only thing I knew for CERTAIN was that I wanted LIVE MUSIC. When I first saw this band, Modern Luxe, several years before I even knew my husband existed....I KNEW this was the FIRST crucial piece to my "someday" wedding. Ian, the band leader & keyboardist/singer, made it super easy to communicate exactly what I wanted. They went so far as to learn a Mighty Mighty Bosstones song just so that my 11 yr. nephew could play w/them on trumpet......& it ROCKED!!!! Ian also sang with my Poppop, aka Fishman Groovy, to "Sweet Caroline". It just made my Poppop's night & he was a superstar! As for the rest of the band, Janelle & Antoine on lead vocals were just plain ridiculous!!! (in a GOOD way) I mean their rendition of "Bohemian Rapsody"?!?! I just can't. I don't have enough words. Matty, the bassist was just a barrel of fun & kickass attitude. The lead guitarist, Shawn, killed it on EVERY song & REALLY brought it with "Don't Stop Believing". And Zach, the drummer who kept it so tight on percussion all night long. Just awesome. Every guest that came up to me with a comment about the band, had only this to say... "They're amazing!". The dance floor was never empty and the good time never seemed to stop. This band is the real deal. If you are even thinking about getting married one day but aren't even in a relationship yet, let me just tell you.....you will DEFINITELY NOT be disappointed by going with this band. So for now, you can at least cross "what to do about music" off your list......because NOTHING beats Modern Luxe for the BEST.NIGHT.EVER.

listening to them at a private rehearsal, and seeing them live at a local bar. They we so much fun to get to know and listen to. At our wedding, they kept our dance floor PACKED all night long, which was the most important detail for us. Everyone had great things to say about them, and many people commented how this was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding. We loved that the band members would interact with us on the dance floor. For those who couldn't dance, they enjoyed just watching the show. Also, they brought their own light show with them, this made such a huge impact, and really set the mood. We loved them so much! We could not have anything better to say about them! They really made our night feel so special! They were well worth the money. This will always be a night to remember for us, and Modern Luxe was a huge part of that! Ian (Modern Luxe's manager) was very accommodating and easy to work with.

n. They are not only a great band but also true professionals. By the end of the night, they felt more like friends that were guests at our wedding than a band we hired. Ian was a pleasure to work with as well. He was always courteous, responsive and enthusiastic. Having him as a contact for literally months beforehand made everything go so smoothly. He's excellent at what he does. I'd like to finish by mentioning what Shawn (guitarist) did for us. I wrote lyrics for my wife and requested that the band set the lyrics to music and actually perform it for us at our wedding. I knew this was a tall order and that I was asking a lot of the entire band, given their busy schedules. Not only did he/they make it happen, he spent hours and hours of his rare, valuable FREE time to perfect the song so it was ready by the 7th. That meant a lot to me and even more to my wife, Caitlin. Modern Luxe is 5-star! Book them!

They even learned a few of our favorite songs for some of our special dances during the reception, which ended up being some of our favorite moments of the night. The dance floor was packed the entire night! All of our friends and family loved them and raved about how talented they all were! We had coordinated all of the details for day with Ian. He was extremely helpful, detail oriented and very responsive. He helped to make sure the whole night ran smoothly! Our 8 year-old niece was completely star struck by them. They were so great with her - answering all of her questions. They even let her sing a song with Janelle. They are all so talented and you WILL regret it if you don’t have them to help celebrate your wedding day! We cannot thank you guys enough for making our wedding day so memorable!!

So many of our guests commented to us about how great the band was - Modern Luxe read the crowd really well and had everyone dancing from the first song! I can’t remember ever dancing or singing along so much at a wedding. We had such a blast having Modern Luxe at our wedding.

They really listened to our preferences during our calls leading up to the wedding and made sure to play songs that fit our style and the version of the songs that we preferred. At the wedding the dancefloor was always packed and all of our guests were dancing and enjoyed the music throughout (young and old guests). Modern Luxe was definitely a highlight of our wedding and we have been hearing from guests ever since about how awesome the band was. Thank you so much!!!
