THE MOST DELICIOUS. They brought us tons of fillings to try along with cake samples, and we decided on 2 cakes: 1 “naked” tiered cake with strawberry filling and a butter cream crumb coat, and 1 sheet cake with chocolate mousse filling and buttercream frosting. Our guests LOVED having different flavor options, and many even went back for seconds because they loved it so much! We highly recommend Modern Pastry to everyone!

aybe I have watched too much Cake Boss but I expected more assistance in choosing the design of the cake. We were given a few a binders and told "pick" or send us a picture of what you want. That is perfect for a bride who knows exactly what she wants, not for me. We ended up choosing 2 cakes that we wanted the designs merged and there must have been a miscommunication but the cake did not come out like we thought. We also felt like we were being an inconvenience by wanting to try more than one type of cake. So overall the taste of the product was amazing but the experience was less than to be desired.

store to have a taste testing and the woman who helped us was great! She brought us all of the cake and frosting samples and let us try every combination. She was very knowledgeable and flexible with out requests. We found what we were looking for in the sample book and she was able to customize to our colors. The experience was extremely easy (and yummy) as the venue handled everything else. The cake and cupcakes were delicious and we received many compliments from out guests! Highly recommended!

The experience of tasting the cakes was fun we sat at swiveling bar stools and as many people could come, we would get a coffee and we could try all the selections. I would only recommend they be a little more present for questions as we were taste testing as they were dropping of selections and then running around, although Saturday morning are a busy time I'm sure. They were very accommodating to all of our requests/modifications for the cake. They also were very good about ideas to make it more attractive. They day of the wedding there were no flaws, and everything was as we expected it to be! Can't be more grateful for their contribution to our big day!

The cake was beautiful, they attached the cake "topper" which also went down the side of our cake perfectly and it was really delicious. I would highly recommend modern pastry for your wedding cake!

The cake itself was also incredible! Very moist and perfectly cooked. I will order all of my cakes from Modern Pastry from now on. The look on my husband face when he saw it was priceless. They are extremely talented and it was easily one of the best cakes I have ever eaten.

Once we got into the decorations I was amazed at the range that was included in the "basics." We found what we were looking for in the sample book and she was able to customize to our colors. The experience was incredibly easy as the venue handled everything else for there but the cake was phenomenal (alternating layers of chocolate and vanilla with strawberry-ricotta filling). Highly recommended!!
