they took the time to understand us as a couple.
Our vision was unconventional, a little weird, but they embraced it. They just got us, matched our energy perfectly, and the result was a wedding that felt like a true reflection of who we are as a couple.
What made the experience so special was that planning never felt like work. We were doing it alongside new friends. We completely fell in love with Becca and Jessie. They are incredible human beings, with undeniable talent.
On the wedding day itself, they appeared like fairy godmothers with exactly what we needed before we even had to ask, all while somehow staying invisible. They handled every surprise and family dynamic with total grace. We could not have asked for a better team.

ion Darcy) are absolute wedding magicians and hiring MVE was by far the best wedding decision we made.
From our first introduction meeting, Becca and Jessie made us feel completely at ease and we knew immediately that we were in good hands for the planning process. They took so much stress out of planning- from vendor meetings/selections to the day of the wedding- everything was so smooth and filled with joy. As an additional confidence boost- every vendor we spoke with thought the world of MVE! They helped us manage our budget and worked directly with vendors to ensure that we got exactly what we wanted/needed. Becca and Jessie also played a huge role in fulfilling the vision of the day- they took our disjointed words of "wildflower, inclusive vendors, colorful, and fun" and pulled together the absolute wedding of our dreams.
The day of the wedding was truly spectacular. MVE had everything running smoothly and on time- we were able to just float through the entire day on a cloud of joy and excitement. They truly made sure we had everything we needed!
A simple "thank you" just isn't enough to express how grateful we are for Becca, Jessie, and Darcy- who we now view as friends!! :)

er was hoping for...and got! They got the vibe she wanted, understood the budget, were very responsive, professional, and creative - in the planning, choosing of vendors and making the day of smooth and completely stress-free. Open to our ideas and full of great suggestions of their own.

their praises enough and don't know what we would have done without them. Not only are they incredible at what they do, but they are the most awesome humans! They are the dream team and made wedding planning, dare I say it, fun?! From the start we were so impressed with their eye for design, their organizational skills, and industry knowledge, but then COVID happened and our wedding world got flipped upside down. Believe it or not, this is when they shined even brighter. Literally within 24 hours of learning that we had to postpone our wedding, Jessie and Becca had helped us secure a new date, a new venue, and were almost done re-booking every single one of our vendors (even convincing some of them to make it work for our new date). Words can't describe how much we appreciated them stepping up and helping us out tremendously during that stressful time. They went well above and beyond what was expected of them when we started this journey and now I have them to thank for amazing wedding memories that I will never forget! Do yourself a favor and call them up right now and you will have the best wedding ever!

is with event planning and promotions and even with that knowledge they were beyond an amazing help.
Our wedding was very formal and our reception was very "not formal". They were able to handle the formalness and reverence for a traditional church. For as much fun as they are, they are able to put that aside and get down to business. For our reception they were able to handle the partiers and multiple moving parts. Everything returned to my house in one piece and my mind did not explode :)
Becca and Jessica are phenomenal communicators. They are honest about your needs, will set you up with vendors that are the best fit and will handle any mishaps along the way.
Their design aesthetic is on point also. As a "micromanager" I had a specific idea in mind. Since I was not there for the entire setup I was able to trust their instincts and was beyond pleased with their setup and decor choices.
At the end of the day, their joy for helping others will rub off on you. They have a contagious laugh and ability to ease your mind during the process. I wish I had more events so I could hang out with them more!

nvolved at the perfect level. She realized we wanted to DIY as much as possible, and was exactly as a consultant should be. Now that the wedding is over, my wife and I have remarked on multiple occasions how much we feel we lost a friend. Becca managed to spin quite the 180 in us- from really not wanting anything to do with a coordinator, to feeling like she was one of our closest friends. Very sneaky.
There isn't a higher recommendation I could give to a DIY couple seeking a coordinator than Modern Vintage. Our wedding day went perfectly, and we owe a large part of that to MV's Becca George.
