It has been a few months since our wedding day, but the special moments is still fresh in my mind because I’ve been watching our awesome highlights over and over. Mark managed to leave us in tears of joy whenever we rewatch our videos. I found Mark from my own online research and instantly wanted him as our videographer because I loved that his videos shared a special story of the couples. Sure enough that was indeed what was delivered to us! Mark delivered a piece of art that was carefully crafted and personalized to tell our love story to the world. Mark was easy going and so friendly from our very first encounter; felt like I was meeting up with an old friend. He gave awesome tips and expertise when I reviewed my wedding outline with him; his recommendations allowed for more beautiful footages. I appreciated how great Mark was on the Big Day in working and cooperating with our photographer. He was great at communicating and putting my family members at ease. He even carefully straightened my dress for me right before our First Look to ensure the moment was beautifully captured. His attention to small details on these things made us all felt relaxed through the day as we knew we were in good hands. We are forever grateful to Mark for helping us capture our special day so beautifully in which we can cherish and treasure for years to come. We love seeing smiles on our family and friends that day and Mark did a wonderful job at capturing the joy, happiness and the load of fun we all had together in celebrating! Where to start? Mark (and his wife Melissa) were very professional from start to finish and was actually instrumental in how the wedding, particularly the ceremony turned out. We first met up about 5 months or so before just to get a feel of who we would be working with and vice versa. Mark was super friendly and genuinely made an effort to get to know us. We are both introverts by nature so being able to get us to open up is not exactly easy but he did it. We showed him our wedding itinerary and he broke down the schedule down to the minute. We actually felt less anxiety by the end of our initial meeting as he reminded us that although we’re the center of all commotion, that everyone will be working to make things as seamless as possible and we just had to make sure we had fun (and stay fed and hydrated) on the best day of our lives. Surprisingly, Mark gave us some tips, like encouraging us to write our vows and a letter to each other, which looking back, helped to bring us closer as a couple but also became some of the most important highlights of the entire wedding. He also encouraged us to limiting electronic devices during the ceremony, which was an amazing idea so there weren’t anyone holding out their cell phones in any of our photos or video. Bride: When I began the search for a Videographer, I probably watched highlight films by at least 30 videographers in the Bay Area. Mark was the one that initially stood out from the rest for his video quality and affordability. I’m so glad we decided to choose him for or wedding because him and his wife were so fun to work with! They arrived just on time the wedding day as I was finishing up makeup and they got to work right away. That was the moment when everything started getting real for me. He had great positive energy the entire day, which helped us to feel comfortable and be ourselves when he was recording. He genuinely cared about us and making sure he got all the shots, all while helping us stay on schedule. Groom: The big day was sort of a blur and getting a guys together for shots was probably like herding a bunch of drunk cats! But Mark helped me out and although I was still pretty nervous, helped slow things down a bit to get some good material, then poof he was gone to focus on my wife and the girls. Writing the letter to each other may have been my favorite part and he started the video with the voice overs which was awesome. As the day went, Mark and Melissa worked very timely and efficient and despite the drunk groomsmen getting me really off schedule, we were able to quickly get the shots that we wanted. We didn’t really talk to them much as the day went on but that’s normal, as they were busy scooping great material for later. In the end, we were surprised how much time and effort went into making our highlight film and how easy Mark and Melissa made the entire process. Everything Mark said we did and all the advice he gave we followed. He took all the best parts of our wedding and distilled it into a beautiful piece of art (highlight film) that still brings tears to our eyes while watching it. We will cherish it forever, but more importantly, use as a reminder that no matter how far my wife and I drift apart, we can always find our love again in the happiest day of our lives. And Mark and Melissa was there catching the whole thing. You guys rock and we can’t thank you enough.

As a bride there are a lot of things you can and usually do stress about when it comes to your wedding day, especially after months of planning. I have to say when it came to our wedding video - there were no concerns. Mark was extremely easy to work with amid all the wedding planning craziness and I just knew when it came to the day of, he would be there prepared and ready to capture the amazing day. Mark, his wife Melissa, and assistant just knew what to do, where to go, and just how to make all of my friends and family members feel comfortable around the camera. Of course the best part of working with Mark and his team was the final product. The video - I cried when I watched it! The footage he captured and then the way he told our story in a beautiful 4-5minute highlight video was more than I could have asked for. I was hesitant to do a video when we were first building out our wedding budget but I have to say that I would be extremely disappointed if I did not have this beautiful video to look back on. I am so grateful I did not miss the chance to work with Mark and his team - I would recommend Modest Reaction Films to any bride looking to have her special day captured for years to come. It’s been six months since our wedding and we still find ourselves watching our wedding videos. The wedding day itself flew by so quickly and having these videos gives us the chance to dive back in to the special moments, laughter, tears, and the exchange of our vows where my husband can’t even remember what happened. “It’s all a blur!” he said. Mark did an amazing job with the editing and music selection to capture our special moments. One of these unforgettable moments was my husband singing the first song we listened to when we met. We had some issues with the sound system at the venue and were thrilled to find out that Mark tapped into the system directly and recorded the audio perfectly. Mark and his backup plans really showcase this thoughtfulness especially when you can’t have a do-over. Mark and his team are professional and friendly, especially when communicating with friends and family during the wedding day. We had many family members that were unable to fly to our wedding and having these videos allowed us to share a piece of our special day. We highly recommend Modest Reaction Films!
