Moghul Caterers

Working with Moghul catering was probably one of the most stressful parts of our wedding planning experience. Our venue had a limited list of Indian caterers that we were allowed to work with, (Moghul + one other), and since Moghul was the only one that did South Indian food catering, we did not have the option of pursuing another caterer for our wedding. We reached out to Moghul about 10 months out from our date, which is standard for vendor outreach in NYC. From the beginning, timely responses and communication were a struggle - we would have to constantly follow up via email, text and call to get questions answered and things like a tasting scheduled. In addition, costs were not outlined properly up front — they provide you a few generic package fees, and our contact simply said that we had to pay a 2500 deposit to reserve the date regardless of final event fee, and we had to follow up many times to get a quote specific to our event with modifications to packages, which was only provided with a few days remaining to hold our date. When we received our final quote, it included fees that were not fully explained to us and our contact did not provide a breakdown for what each of these fees was pertaining to. Because of the time pressure mentioned above, we didn’t have time to iron out these details and felt obligated to sign the contract so we can have food at our wedding. In addition, because we were booking them for a single meal (vs multiple events over the course of a weekend) they charged us a per person “single event fee” which is not an industry standard and frankly extremely unprofessional. If their standard is only to take multi-event weddings, that should be made clear upfront. We got a quote from another vendor for the same style of service in New Jersey that was a fraction of the cost, but continued to work with Moghul because we liked the food at our tasting, they promised the highest quality of service and were an exclusive caterer with our venue. They also did not provide an estimate on staffing needs, which they require you to contract from elsewhere, which is also not the industry standard for wedding catering. When we and our coordination team followed up with them 5-6 months out from our wedding to begin finalizing details, it was impossible to get a hold of our contact, who was a head chef on their team. After contacting management, we were told that he was on vacation, when in fact we learned from his social media that he had left the company. There was no proactive outreach to us to provide a new contact and his departure from the company was never acknowledged to us, and this lack of transparency was extremely unprofessional. While we were assigned a new contact and they were slightly more responsive, it took months of back and forth to finalize the details of what we needed for our event, even though we were extremely clear in writing and over the phone about what option we wanted to pursue. They were constantly trying to have us switch the style of our service to one that would not work with the rest of the logistics for our day, and finally we and our coordination team had to explain to them exactly what needed to be done, which should not have been our responsibility. They were the last vendor to get us information for our rental order and delayed it getting placed. While we understand the wedding season is busy and Moghul caters many events, we were not able to finalize our proposal cost, menu and other details until about 2 weeks out from our event, which required us to take an in-person meeting on a weekday at their offices. No other vendor had not finalized things with us at that point, and we were waiting on required information from them to book staffing, which they do not provide. Their representative also arrived over 30 minutes late to our venue walkthrough and did not have the most up to date information about our event, and left within 15 minutes. Our contact also forgot that we had asked them to coordinate a disposable cutlery order from their wholesale vendor, which we had requested over 4 months prior and had followed up with them on over email in writing multiple times. We had to make it extremely clear after our final meeting that all costs were finalized, as we had heard from another couple at our venue that they requested last minute additional funding the night before their wedding that was not previously outlined in their contract. On our wedding day we were glad that our lunch service was executed properly and that the food was good. However, there were two items that were made differently than what we had requested, and guests meals that needed to be modified for dietary restrictions fell through the cracks, and while the food was still enjoyable, just spoke to a lack of attention to detail. In addition, our lead for the day came up and spoke to myself, the bride, multiple times throughout the morning asking me about what I thought about their work while I was headed to portraits with my photographer and once asking me to speak on a promotional video without checking if that was OK with me first. While I was happy to speak to my vendors day of, every other vendor was much more respectful and mindful of my personal space on my wedding day. We felt disappointed throughout the process that such a well reviewed vendor that is exclusive with so many venues in our area was so difficult to work with. This was in stark contrast with our 2nd caterer we had for dinner, who was a small business owner with a lot less resources and arguably had more to do as they handled all the rentals for all of the catering teams, catered cocktail hour, a plated meal with multiple courses and dessert, who took care of everything for us and provided exemplary service. Catering is such a make or break vendor for your day and not having things ironed out until the last minute was stressful for us, our families and our planning team. We are not sure if only planning one meal with them made us a lower priority or other couples just had planners talk to them and didn’t know about the behind the scenes issues we ran into. Especially considering how much it cost to work with them, we expected and deserved better.

We had the pleasure of working with Moghul Catering for my daughter Meghal's wedding to Karthik on September 14, 2024. Moghul Catering provided the food and service for multiple events, including the Sangeet at Hanover Marriot, wedding and reception at Legacy Castle, and we could not have been more impressed. A special thank you to Kamalji and Rajeevji, who personally came to ensure that everything was handled with the utmost care and perfection. Their presence made a world of difference, and the attention to detail was evident in every aspect. The food was simply outstanding, and the service went above and beyond our expectations, leaving our guests delighted. Absolutely phenomenal catering service for our wedding! A special thank you to Mr. Rajeev Sachdeva (Director of Catering) for overseeing our event from beginning to end. From the initial tasting to the big day itself, everything was flawless. The food was beyond delicious—our guests couldn't stop raving about it. Our favorites included the paneer wanton tacos, gobi bao buns, live spinach chaat stations, the shaam savera, and banofi pie dessert. The presentation was elegant, and the staff were professional, courteous, and attentive. They seamlessly accommodated our special dietary requests without any hassle. We were blown over by the professionalism of the Mogul Catering team led by Dimpy. Amazing and tasty food at every event for my son and daughter in law’s wedding celebration. Working with Rajiv at Moghul from start to finish was a wonderful experience. My husband, Liam and I had Moghul for our March 2nd wedding. From the beginning, Kkunal and his team were great to work with. They provided us with an extensive menu catalog to choose from and helped us set up our tasting prior to the wedding. We had selected a traditional Gujarati lunch and modern fusion options for our cocktail hour and reception. During our tasting, they not only prepared our requested items, but also prepared some of their new recipes and customer favorites. The food at the wedding far exceeded our expectations in quality and flavor. Kkunal had worked with us to curate a menu that showcased flavors of India, China, and Italy. We were very impressed by the cocktail hour live stations and the delicious desserts. A special shoutout to the jackfruit tacos, chicken 65 bao buns and the tandoori stuffed sesame aloo.

First off let me start by saying Moghul catered my wedding 25 years ago. It is a classic and staple in terms of catering. Fast forward 25 years. We were celebrating a much more intimate milestone birthday. Neeraj was absolutely amazing to work with. Moghul I know does catering for events with hundreds of people. However not once did Neeraj make us feel like we didn't matter. He catered my 75 ppl event like he would a 750 ppl event. His team was amazing on the day of the event and the food was AMAZING! Thank you Neeraj and moghul caterers for making my event perfect!

Moghul Catering cannot be recommended enough!!! Neeraj was the coordinator for my wedding Walima. Him and his whole team helped us throughout the entire process and were very accommodating. They were very professional as well. They accommodate very well for Muslims, as well as people with other dietary restrictions. Our guests all said the food was some of the best wedding food they’ve had. Moghul Catering is creative, accommodating, and tasty. Thanks to them and they are wonderful to work with.

My husband and I wanted the best food at our wedding and Moghul delivered! Everyone came up to us after dinner was served and couldn’t stop raving about the food. This was also the first time trying Indian food for some people and they were blown away and kept going back for seconds. We worked with Neeraj Shokeen and he was communicative and patient with us through out the whole process. We last minute decided to cater a lunch for our friends and family and he walked us through the tray menu and helped us adjust the menu to make sure there was enough food for all guests attending. My family is a group of tough food critics and they all could not get enough of lunch, especially the samosas. The staff was incredibly attentive and did a great job of taking care of everything the day of the event, contributing to the success of the wedding. I would highly recommended Moghul and their incredible team!

We recently had a 380 person wedding in Cape May, NJ where the venue did not have a kitchen where cooking outside of the venue was also not an option and space for cocktail hour was limited and we were not able to find a caterer that would take on the challenge. We met with Rajeev who was ready to take on this wedding and we could not be any happier! We truly don’t even know what he did and where his team cooked, warmed up and fried the food that was being served but he made it happen!! It was such a smooth process for us and he made sure everything was handled and every little detail was thought of and taken care of! We’re still in shock at how it all played out. All of the food was so beautifully presented and all of our guests kept telling us how amazing all of the food was and some of the best they’ve ever had! We also had them cater for our Sangeet where the food was equally as phenomenal and Neeraj was great in making sure everything went smoothly. Kunal has also helped us to come up with the rental list and was very helpful during the site visits conducted. Food is always the one thing everyone remembers at a wedding and we’re so glad we went with Moghul and got to work with Rajeev. Thank you to the entire team we appreciate all of the hard work!!

I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff and food from Moghul are! We had Moghul cater 3 of our wedding events and we received so many compliments from all of our guests on the presentation and taste of all the dishes. Dimpy is an absolute gem and was so helpful every step of the way. Half of our wedding guests had a strict diet (vegetarian, no egg/onion/garlic/mushroom) and we were very nervous there could be a potential mix up or the food would lack flavor. However, Dimpy reassured us every time we spoke to her that this would not be a problem and it wasn't! Moghul has a huge catering menu and will have any and every dish you want. Dimpy helped make suggestions and they were all a hit! Thank you Dimpy and the rest of the Moghul team for making our special days so amazing and stress free!

It was an absolute delight to work with Pramod and the Moghul Catering Team for my daughter's wedding in Cancun. They gave us some great options and a wide variety of flavors to choose from. The menu was fantastic and the food was excellent and much appreciated. Pramod and his team made sure all meals were well-planned and quantities were adequate, given the large guest list. We recently contracted Moghul for our daughter's Sweet 16. It was a great experience. Thanks a bunch to Bravura Brides(Tirusha & Prashanth) for referring Moghul. We worked with Kkunal Dhupaar, one of the catering managers. He was extremely patient with us and worked alongside us to curated the perfect menu. The initial tasting with Moghul truly set the tone for us. Kkunal, with our planner Bravura Brides, crafted a very unique menu for our initial tasting. Every item was thoroughly explained to us, with presentation styles, etc. Kkunal's attention to detail was thorough. Upon completion, we then decided it would be good to have more of a traditional South Indian meal for dinner, and he was more than accommodating to ensure we had this second tasting. From start to finish, Kkunal worked with us; and on the day of the event, he oversaw everything from start to finish. Moghul did a fantastic job with the entire event and we could not be happier. We appreciate their patience in ensuring that our questions were answered. Our guests were very pleased with the cocktail hour food and dinner; and the desserts were a hit too!

The food was the highlight of our wedding. It was amazing. Everyone raved about Moghul's food even after the wedding to this date. We worked with Kkunal and he was amazing. Kkunal ended up being sick during our wedding and we worked with Preet (i think). They were both amazing. He made sure all the food was fresh and on time. He even brought my husband and I plates while we were taking our pictures. Our guests to this date remember the food at our wedding because it was amongst the best wedding foods they've eaten.

We had Moghul cater 4 events throughout our Indian-fusion wedding, Sangeet, Wedding Ceremony snacks, Reception, and Breakfast. All of the guests at our wedding were constantly raving about how good the food was. We selected a variety of cuisines - including Italian, Mexican, Indo-Chinese, Indian, American - and everything was absolutely delicious. Dimpy and the Moghul team were great in helping us develop our menu that fit our preferences and all of our dietary restrictions (vegetarian with Jain/vegan options). Dimpy even went above and beyond and surprised us with a donut wall during our reception. We'd mentioned wanting donuts during a call and ended up not selecting them for our menu. But Dimpy remembered and was able to arrange a donut wall as part of our dessert selection and it was incredible! We highly recommend Moghul and looking forward to using them again in the future!

Delicious food catered for our wedding lunch and dinner from Moghul. Pleasure to work with and flexible in their menu selection and packages. Our guests loved the food and continued to compliment the food weeks after our wedding.

Neeraj was so amazing and helpful throughout the whole process! He always answer my calls even on a Sunday evening. The Food Was Fantastic!! We had a multi-culture wedding, Dominican and Indian to be exact. Moghul was able to cook both Indian food and Dominican food. Everyone truly raved on how delicious all the food was! we were so lucky to only need to hire one Caterer!

We choose mogul for all the great reviews and went into this expecting a quality experience out of it. However did not deliver but cared less about our opinion or feedback. We hired Mogul for our reception and from the beginning itself faced problems trying to get hold of Neeraj- their manager. We would go weeks without a reply to our emails or texts. After several calls to his office, we would hear back from him once. While we took into consideration this is a busy wedding season we didnt make a fuss out of this. Then came to delivering on what was promised. We were first asked to select 10 items for tasting, not only did Neeraj not show up for this but also none of the 10 items requested were part of our tasting session. We were however very excited to have a new innovative dessert on our menu which we all loved during tasting, and they completely messed that up on our reception. Instead of tres-leche rasmalai with rabri, we were given simple, ordinary rasmalai which i could have gotten with any other caterors. We reached out to Moghul after our wedding to discuss this, but guess what! again no reply as always. This certainly did not meet any standards for professionalism and frankly left me very disappointed with what they delivered. While our wedding was catered by Rasoi which isn't as big as Moghul, I would honestly recommend them over moghul by the sheer fact that they served what was promised and mentioned in the contract. Neither did Moghul do this, they blatantly ignored our emails pretending they did not 'mess up'. Would give it 1 star but just out of courtesy giving it a 2.

When I was planning my wedding, great food was an absolute must and that’s why I went with the best: Moghul Caterers. They did our wedding weekend and they were phenomenal! Our guests were a mix of North Indian, South Indian as well as non-Indians. We wanted a mix of different foods that would appeal to everyone’s palate. The team of Kamal Arora, Chef Vipul, and Dimpy came up with an amazing menu for our 4 different events. It was a great mix of fusion, traditional, veg, non-veg. They paid attention to every detail and accommodated changes along the way. The presentation of the food was perfect. The guests are still raving about how delicious the food was. Working with Moghul for my wedding was truly a highlight for me and my wedding experience. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Hands down the best catering service in the area! The food was absolutely the best Indian food I’ve ever had in my life and my family and friends are still raving about the food. Rajeev worked with us on our personalized menu, and was very helpful and communicative throughout the process, providing us best recommendations. Best catering company for South Asian Fusion weddings! We are so happy we booked them for our Bengali Hindu ceremony in NYC. We had last minute venue changes due to COVID issues and needed a caterer a month before our wedding- Rajeev was so responsive, helpful and accommodating from the start. He had great recommendations and worked with us to create a truly fusion menu (my husbands family is Italian American) so that there were familiar menu items for my Bangladeshi family and his side but also fun fusion things like chicken tikka flatbread or tandoori lamb chop that was intriguing for everyone to try. The food was high quality-my dad's a chef who is very nitpicky and he gave his approval! Especially the meats. We had specific menu requests such as the goat curry to be cooked Bangladeshi style and chef Vipul worked with my mom to make sure it was cooked the way that was intended and delivered on it- my family was very impressed. One thing would be to make food less spicy when there is a mixed wedding guest crowd but luckily there were many options of foods to eat that it wasn't an issue. We are so happy we booked the best. We highly recommend them!

Moghul is the best choice for Indian catering in the Tri-State area! They are professional, responsive and you get great value for money. We had both in house catering and Moghul and our guests could not stop raving about it. Highly Recommended!

Dimpy was an amazing partner throughout an 18+ month engagement, with a wedding in November 2019. She worked with us to customize a family style menu for our big day for a very diverse crowd. The food quality day of, presentation and and customization was flawless. Moghul also helped us create a first-time item, which was a big hit at our wedding . I will definitely choose them again for family events, as my parents are long time customers of the chain. Most importantly, I appreciate Dimpy taking the time to meet with our venue almost a year in advance to ensure we were well coordinated for the wedding. If you are looking for the most delicious food that guests will talk about for months to follow (no joke) for your wedding or any other event, Moghul is definitely the way to go.

Excellent service, team, quality, hospitality and delicious food. Moghul did catering for my two daughters weddings in July 2019 and August 2019. We were highly satisfied in every aspect with them. Managers and their team is polite, courteous, professional and well mannered. They attend to your needs promptly and execute it well. They have a wide selection of menu to choose the items. Food testing experience was awesome and impressive. They are very customer oriented and ensure that your event turns out memorable. Very pleasing to work with Neeraj, Rajiv and CEO Kamal. My daughters, son-in-laws, their parents and all of our guests admired the food and service. We highly recommend Moghul to cater food for any event.

Rajeev and the Moghul team were incredible! Our wedding was in Cleveland, Ohio and they did an impeccable job! Rajeev's passion for putting together a great menu as well as delivering on it shined through the entire weekend. We had so many people who truly enjoyed not only the food, but its presentation and quality. Thank you Moghul team for putting such a high quality experience in the plates of all of our guests... we couldn't be more happy with your commmitment!

Moghul was more than just exceptional at my engagement party. Dimpy not only helped us with order customization, but also helped with every other concern we had about the event. The food was just as we wanted it to be.. tasty tasty tasty! No one can beat Moghul with regards to professionalism, quality, variety, and management.

Overall I would say solid 3.5, had it only been regarding the quality of the food on the event day, they would have scored much higher... - Pros: From a presentation and food standpoint, Moghul was wonderful. Our guests raved about the food they provided for all 3 of our events. The caterers were definitely well known by all of our other vendors for their great reputation, fresh ingredients and it seems like the chefs did not disappoint on the big day. - Cons: We, as the bride and groom, did not have as great interactions with Moghul as expected. We ended up having 3 tastings because none of our notes, comments or requests were followed through from previous tastings (2 of which our Moghul contact person didn't even show up to). I had to constantly reach out to the managers to request to meet or even just discuss the menus. I repeatedly reminded them that we did not want to repeat food items between the Sangeet, lunch and reception dinner (which I was hoping they would provide more insight and suggestions for since they have such creative food options and varieties on social media). For a sizeable wedding of 250 guests, we certainly felt like a smaller host for their company. Lastly, the Moghul representative told me during the reception that they had packed some dinner for myself and the groom before leaving for the night since we did not get to eat -however, when we asked the venue, Moghul hadn't left anything and when I contacted the manager we had been working with, he ignored my messages... This was a very disappointing note to end on after hearing such great things from our guests. Although we would recommend their food for wonderful quality and presentation, we did not have an enjoyable interaction with the catering group.

After considering three well known caterers in the NY/NJ area, we chose Moghul. It was the best decision we made. They were great in every way. Our liaison manager from Moghul was Dimpy Pingle. She truly was exceptional. She made sure that everything was done to perfection and the food was exceptionally superb. All our guests appreciated the tasty food.

Moghul is by far the best caterer the area. We contacted Rajeev Sachdeva in 2017 to make sure that they were available for our 2019 event. Rajeev was great in helping us build a menu that blended my South Indian culture with my husband's Gujurati culture. Anything we asked for, Rajeev said "no problem." He even built separate plates for some of our Jain guests. Literally, there is nothing that Moghul cannot or will not do. Furthermore, our guests were raving about the food the entire night, and the service provided was excellent. We could not recommend Moghul more highly.

We had the privilege of catering from Moghul for our wedding. Dimpy and her team were so amazing and thoughtful! They made sure we were taken care of and catered to all of our requests, no matter how small. Even today, three months after our wedding, we're still getting so many compliments about the incredible and unique the food was from that day. You just cannot go wrong with Moghul! These caterers were fantastic. They were able to execute our unique ideas and add their innovative touches in order to make the most spectacular food for the wedding for all of our Indian meals. They also provided other food as well that was equally delicious. Rajeev particularly was a joy to work with and very responsive and caring about each and every decision.

Mogul Catering was one of the best vendors I had worked with for my wedding. Their food and presentation was outstanding. Our wedding guests are still talking about how excellent the food and service was months later. They loved the variety and uniqueness of the food items such Indofusion Sushi Bar, chilli guava popsicles, and gulab jamun cheesecake to name a few. Dimpy was my person of contact from their company. She is the best! She not only helped with food suggestions but went above and beyond in helping me with any challenges I faced during the wedding planning. She made sure my husband and I ate at the wedding events. She accommodated the food tasting to my busy schedule. She made suggestions and listened to all my ideas. She made sure everything was perfect and started on time. My wedding was a huge success because of Dimpy and her team at Mogul Catering. I highly recommend hiring Mogul Catering. They are worth it!!!!

Food was the highlight of the weekend. Moghul was so flexible and willing to negotiate to make our wedding vision come true. For the Sangeet night we had 10 different stations and Moghul guided us so well to make every station unique. We had the perfect fusion dishes that were best suited for those who were adventurous and those who were a bit nervous and wanted to stick to the known. The highlight was a jalebi station where Moghul made jalebis fresh and hot! For the Hindu ceremony Moghul was able to create a delicious no-onion no-garlic lunch per my father's request and the food was still so flavored. It was probably the favorite meal for most guests. For the reception, lamb chops were undoubtedly a hit in addition to basically every other item we asked to add to the Crystal Plaza venue menu. Can't thank Moghul enough for making the wedding weekend a hit! Highly recommend to anyone out there looking for the best caterers to work with and for the best food in town!

Where do I even start!?!? First off, the communication with Neeraj was great, he kept us informed and updated at all times and was very flexible with any changes we had to make. The most important part of my wedding was the food and music and MOGHUL delivered beyond expectations. I still get compliments about the caterer to this day and I will for sure remember it always! From the cocktail hour, buffet dinner to dessert station - it was absolutely delicious!!!! The team was quick, efficient and very friendly! This catering vendor is my favorite and will recommend it to as many people as I can! Thank you guys!!!

First and foremost, Moghul delivered an amazing product on our wedding day that our guests are still raving about. The food -- from cocktail hour through dessert -- was delicious and had our guests going back for more. Moghul also offered a complimentary tasting which helped us narrow down the items we wanted from their extensive catering menu. We've given them a four-star rating instead of five because there were some organizational and communication issues along the way: it often took several calls and emails to get answers to questions, which led to some stress. However, at the end, Moghul delivered a great product that we were extremely happy with.

The most professional caterers I have ever experienced. They saved my big day. I had to find a last minute caterer for my wedding reception two weeks prior to my event. They were thankfully available but even more than that they were absolutely easy to work with. They gave me everything thing I wanted and more. My event had 600 very happy and full guests. If they recommend something listen to them. They know food. They are number 1 in the industry for a reason and if you choose them as your caterer you will never be disappointed. We hired Moghul for our wedding and reception and they delivered beyond our expectations! All of our 400 guests were ranting and raving over the taste and selection of the food provided. Moghul has a very professional staff that kept the food lines short and executed everything flawlessly. The food always makes or breaks an event and Moghul catering definitely made our event even better! I would highly recommend them for any event and we will always be using them from hereon out. They have an extensive menu and will work with you to create the perfect menu for your event. We actually had 3 tastings and the food in the end tasted even better than we had tasted! The food truly was incredible and so was the presentation. Moghul Caterers are the best in the industry and working with Neeraj was a pleasure!

We had Moghul cater for my Indian wedding on 11/4/17. One of the thing that was important for my family was to have the best food that our guests would remember about our event. We were so concerned but when we went for food tasting we knew that we had found what we were looking for. Neeraj is the best. He assured my parents not to worry about the food part and he was right. Our guests enjoyed the food so much and the food decor was beautiful. We are So happy with our choice and thank you Neeraj and moghul team for making my event so memorable.

Very positive review for Moghul, specifically Payal and her team!! Moghul was very flexible in creating a customized menu for our day from two cocktail hours through dinner and dessert selection. We were able to make selections, change our minds and then change our minds yet again! Throughout, Payal was very patient and made helpful suggestions based on her extensive experience to help us achieve our goals. All of our guests raved about the food - if you want an assortment that displays and really wows, go with Moghul.

Moghul Caterers went above and beyond for us. From the tasting to the actual day's events they were exceptional. We had Betsey Thomas as our liaison and she was wonderful. The day of our wedding she made it a point to make us plates of food so that we ate among all the chaos. She recommended phenomenal desserts and meal options that everyone would enjoy. She was even sweet enough to pack up food for us as my husband wasn't able to make it to the tasting. They make it a point to not only provide amazing food but they take care of you like family.

One of the keys of a great caterer is that they have well established relationships with the venue and can cook some of the food on site meaning your guests will have fresh food especially for cocktail hour. We enjoyed working with our Moghul contact and we loved the food tasting (make sure you eat then as the day of the wedding, my now husband and I barely had a chance to get one bite!). They delivered, their food was fantastic the day of the wedding, we received many complements and they also did a wonderful job of executing and working flawlessly with our venue, which helped us as we had less to manage. I realize they are the 'standard' maybe for Indian cuisine, but their food is really amazing. Go with Moghul, you can't go wrong! They're a little pricey but you get what you pay for so it's worth it.

Moghul did such an amazing job catering our wedding. We initially chose them because they had an existing package with our venue but when we sampled the food at our tasting we were not disappointed. We worked with Betsy who gave us many recommendations about planning our dishes to complement each other. There were a couple of occasions where what we wanted did not match up exactly with what she recommended, but when she understood that it was what we really wanted she worked hard to make it happen for us. We did also request some significant last minute changes and additions to the menu and Betsy made sure it happened without any hitches and also helped us make sure it was within a reasonable budget. On the day of our wedding Betsy was there herself making sure everything ran smoothly without any problems, which it did. I didn't have to worry for a moment about the food or the catering staff. We also requested Mithai boxes for our guests at the last minute which Moghul supplied without any issues. But the best part of all was the food - it was absolutely delicious. Our guests were all raving about how great the food selection was all day long. I would use Moghul catering again for any event without hesitation. They are professional, great to work with and deliver very high-quality and delicious food.

We worked with Swati at Moghul and from start to finish she was wonderful to work with. She helped us think through our menus, really listened to our feedback at the trial and made sure she understood so she can make the appropriate changes, she really cared about us through the process & made sure we were happy. The food was amazing from all the guests' reviews - we only wish that we got to eat it too, but as bride & groom i guess that is what you sacrifice to keep among your guests - though if i could go back in time that would be the one thing i would change - i'd enjoy the food as much as my guests did! i would recommend moghul to anyone who is looking for high quality food & great service. you'll never have to think twice about whether it was a good decision!

Moghul provided a portion of the menu at our wedding held at the Ritz. They provided Indian entrees for some of our guests, provided Indian snacks during cocktail hour and during our Indian ceremony and had a great international viennese display. We and our guests were extremely happy with all the food.

Moghul continues to push the envelop with new and creative ways to present their foods. They were able to provide a wide variety of foods for everything from our engagement party to pre-ceremony lunch, cocktail hour, dinner, and Viennese desert presentation. Our wedding was quite large, but Moghul provided exceptional food with impeccable presentations and service. They even managed to provide French service (instead of the traditional buffet) despite being told by our venue that it would be too much work. We were so happy to be able to serve our guests a mixture of both familiar and innovative, creative foods. Everything was fantastic!

Moghul's food (especially the Indian food) is simply AMAZING. Our guests raved about our food. Delicious!
