Just wonderful! They were able to accommodate our cake order even in the midst of the holiday madness that bakeries experience. We ordered a two tier cake and two cookie platters and have no complaints. The cake was delicious, we had a yellow and chocolate cake with raspberry filling and a buttercream icing. People were asking for more and where the leftovers were at even a few days after the ceremony. I have to give props as well for them being honest about what they could make for us that would stay and taste good (I had Pinterest ideas in my mind). I have a picture below for reference of the cake. Would definitely recommend.

Moio's provided a beautiful and absolutely delicious cake for my wedding. We had the raspberry buttercream icing with white almond cake. The tasting was a great experience and Tony was very good at helping me find the design I wanted. My cake had beautiful fall colored flowers and worked perfectly with my wedding theme. The cake itself was incredibly delicious and I would highly recommend this bakery for wedding cakes! We also got some cookies from them for our Pittsburgh cookie table and those were a huge hit as well!

Tony was the absolute best. Our cake was beautiful and perfect for our wedding. It was so good that people couldn’t tell if it was actually cake or logs! It was delicious and he was so easy to work with. I would 1000% recommend them for all your events!

I honestly cannot say enough about Moio's Italian Pastry Shop and Tony Moio specifically. Our wedding cake looked exactly how we wanted it to and it tasted AMAZING! Tony worked with us on every detail that we wanted for our wedding cake - even letting us have three different fillings for our wedding cake. The price was so affordable for what we received, and Tony's helpful guidance made us feel at ease. We had no leftover wedding cake - our guests enjoyed it that much! Tony even made another small cake for us after our wedding day because we (and our parents) did not find the time to eat our own slices during our reception. I would HIGHLY recommend Moio's for your wedding day, and I will certainly be a lifetime customer after our wonderful experience!

A big big thank you to Tony Moio! My family has loved Tony’s cake and pastries for years and it was an honor to be able to eat his cake on the day of my wedding and be able to share it with my husband’s family. Tony went above and beyond to make sure we could have his cake for our big day. When I called him (a little late in the game due to postponed wedding COVID planning), he was already tight the weekend of our wedding, but he squeezed us in! We just had to do the pickup / delivery which was not a problem for us. The cake was a simple, beautiful 2 tier accompanied by sheet cake. The almond, white batter cake was tender and light and the fillings (fresh strawberry and cherry nut) were perfect. Tony was even able to include a separate slice of cake to accompany a birthday shout out and a small nut-free cake with yellow batter for our guests with nut allergies.

Tony did a beautiful job with the wedding cake for my son’s reception. He produced exactly what the bride and groom requested. It was delicious and beautiful!

Amazing wedding cake! We just recently had Moio's Italian Bakery create our wedding cake (6/12/21) and were very pleased with how it turned out. Tony was wonderful to work with and created a beautiful, delicious wedding cake. We got many compliments on the cherry nut filling!

We wanted a cheesecake for our wedding and they definitely delivered a delicious cake! We got the strawberry filling which was marvelous. Everyone raved about how great the cake was! The planning process was easy and they really did their best to accommodate to our wants and needs. The cake was delivered on time and remained beautiful all day. If you want cheesecake for your wedding, I would recommend Moio's!

Our cake was seriously amazing. All our encounters with moios was fantastic, from cake testing to the final product. Tony worked with us to finalize exactly what we wanted. I can’t recommend them enough. Our guests loved the cake, and even more we did too!!

All around amazing! My family has many Italian critics so for everyone to say how awesome the cake was definitely speaks volumes. From their service, to price, delivery, and taste, we couldn’t have asked for a better bakery to work with and have as our wedding day cake! Highly recommend!!

Our wedding cake from Moio's was excellent! Meeting with Tony was a pleasure, and we were comfortable from the get-go as he had delivered cakes to our reception venue countless times, and knew just who to call and where to go, etc. We were undecided between the chocolate and strawberry filling, and he said he could combine them both to do a chocolate-covered-strawberry flavor! It was so so good, and I received many compliments at the reception, and in the weeks following. We love Moio's!!

We were so pleased to have Moio’s create our wedding cake. It was truly a work of art and went far above my expectations. We ended up going with a white birch tree decorated cake with cherry nut filling. YUM! Part of my husband’s proposal included carving our initials into a tree so the fact that Tony was able to recreate our engagement day meant so much to us. It was simply beautiful and the cake was SO delicious! Many of our guests complemented us on the cake as well. We could not recommend Moio’s ENOUGH and we are so pleased with their service!

So so happy we got our wedding cake here! Tony was so wonderful and easy to work with. We got a chocolate raspberry filling with the almond cake and was by far the best cake I’ve ever had. Our guests enjoyed the cake too and it looked amazing. Definitely check this place out!

Get your wedding cake at Moio's! Tony made a delicious and beautiful skim cake (or half-dressed cake) for our wedding, and our guests loved it (we did too!). He executed the design perfectly, and the almond batter/fudge filling cake was very tasty. It is going to be hard to wait for our anniversary to get into the cake topper! In addition to the cake, we got some Moio's cookies to fill out our cookie table, and they were great as well. Thanks Tony!

Moio’s made my cake exactly how I wanted it, simple. The taste was amazing! The cake was so delicious. They also worked with us through a last minute mishap with another cake maker and we thank you so much for that!

Moio's is such a great bakery. They did our wedding cake for our wedding on 9/22/17. It was so delicious and it looked great too! We had a very simple, 3 tiered wedding cake with fondant draping and grapes made of icing on each tier. Many compliments from our guests. It will be hard to wait 1 year until we eat the top tier of our cake! We may have to stop in!

Excellent! I was thrilled with the look and taste of our wedding cake! I gave Tony very little to work with besides the color scheme and vague things that I liked and didn't like in cakes and he really was able to come up with something gorgeous. Would absolutely order cakes (and pretty much any desert) from him again.

Tony met with her via Facebook since she and her husband are active duty military and live out of state. His creation was everything she hoped for! Beautiful and delicious! We were so happy we chose Moio's to do our wedding cake! Not only is the cake taste absolutely to die for, but Tony and his staff are extremely friendly and easy to work with. We came to them with a vision of a half wedding cake, half super hero cake and they brought it to life! We have gotten so many compliments on the taste and uniqueness. We would recommend them to anyone!

We were so happy with our wedding cake from Moio's! He didn't pressure us to overspend and helped us find a suitable option for our budget - a two tier cake with sheetcake for the rest of our guests. The cake looked beautiful (ombre coral with gold sparkles in the rosettes) and tasted even better! I'd recommend Moio's time and again!

AMAZING!! When I saw the cake that Tony Moio (owner) had made for our wedding this is the word that came to mind. Everything from the tasting down to the wedding day, it was a pleasure to work with Tony every step of the way to get the cake done. Of all the fantastic flavors we settled on a three tier vanilla cake with chocolate pudding for the filling in our cake. Everyone at our wedding RAVED about how gorgeous the cake looked. It was simply too pretty to cut! My husband and I can't wait to bite into our 1st piece of cake on our anniversary. No doubt, this is the place to have your wedding cake made or to stop by for any of their bake goods which can be described as, "a mouthful of deliciousness." I HIGHLY recommend them 100%!!

Moio's provided my wedding cake as well as my groom's cake for my April 13 wedding at the Pittsburgh Zoo. The cakes were absolutely beautiful, and Moio's white cake with raspberry filling has always been my favorite cake in Pittsburgh. Tony Moio was very helpful and candid in the cake design process. He predicted the amount of cake we'd need perfectly, and was willing to work with us having both white and chocolate cake available. Unlike other cake vendors I visited, there were no gimmicks or hidden fees (other than a very reasonable delivery fee). I highly recommend Moio's - you won't find more delicious cake!

Moio's did an amazing job on our wedding cake and some of the wedding cookies. I showed Tony a picture of what I wanted and he matched it exactly. The cake tasted amazing and everything about it was perfect!

The cake couldn't have been more perfect! Tony listened to exactly what we wanted and even called me a few days before to confirm everything and let me talk to the decorator to make sure everyone was on the same page. We had a small tiered and decorated cake and sheet cakes to feed everyone, but the order came out exactly as I expected. I only wish I had room to eat more of it on the wedding day!

Very Beautiful and Very Delicious!

Moio's was amazing they set up a last minute tasting for me because I had family in town that I wanted to try our wedding cake with. I loved it! But I heard really good reviews about other bakers and therefor didn't want to settle or commit to the first bakery we tried so I set up appointments with other bakeries who had really great reviews and not one compared to Moios. The cake was beautiful and delicious as were the cookies. They did exactly what I wanted! I chose the design and left the colors and flower choices to them and it was absolutely beautiful! They were so easy to work with as well! Oh I forgot to mention, I got there and needed to use the restroom however theirs is not public yet they allowed me into the back of the bakery to use the restroom. I was so happy and surprised that all workers were wearing gloves and hairnets, AND the kitchen was immaculate! Great feeling!

Moio's not did a beautiful job on our chocolate cake with rasberry filling and chocolate icing! They also supplied homemade Italian ice which was served at an intermittent. This was one of the best parts of the whole eveing. Moio's is so wonderful to work with, Karen did a fantastic job on my cake and Tony the owner, was so easy to work with!!!

My fiancé and I visited 5 different bakeries before deciding upon Moio’s. Ironically enough, Moio’s was the first bakery we visited. While we tend to love all cake, Moio’s was the only bakery of the 5 that had such a unique, perfect design for us. We did not want flowers on our cake, so we were looking for something different. The day we walked into Moio’s, I saw a cake called “The Promise” which had lots of special words written on the cake in a beautiful script (love, hope, trust, honor, cherish, loyalty, friends, family, happiness, etc.) describing what a marriage should be. We fell in love with that cake design, as we felt the design was very meaningful and very elegant. When I asked other bakeries if they could replicate the design, they flat out told me no, that it couldn’t be done. Some bakeries told me they could do it for an extra cost per word. At Moio’s, it was just included in the normal price as a standard design they offer. Not only was our cake unique, beautiful and meaningful, it tasted absolutely delicious! We received countless compliments from our guests about the look and taste of the cake. One of our guests even said it was the best cake they ever tasted! The staff was friendly, flexible, kind, and truly a pleasure to work with. They seemed to genuinely care about us and our wedding cake. They were professional, prompt, and reasonably priced. In fact, of all the bakeries we visited, they were one of the most affordable and better tasting too. I would definitely recommend Moio’s! We had such a wonderful experience working with them!

Tony Moio is wonderful to work with and his cakes are delicious! He has tons of fun flavors so we got several sheet cakes for people to be able to have small pieces of different flavors. I changed my cake a week before the wedding and quickly made the adjustments and got me the cake that I wanted. I didn't have time to have a full piece of cake a the wedding so I can't wait to eat more of it on our 1 year!

Absolutely tasty! beautiful work, and they made the design on my cake match the designs on my dress. The color on my cake was a little off, but you can't tell when you taste the cake!

Moio's has some of the baked goods EVER!! His pricing is very reasonable and he is sure to accommodate your every need! The cake was absolutely delicious!! Every guest ranted and raved about it the whole evening!! :)
