here myself. Upon my first exhcange with Melissa, I knew that this salon was the right choice. Words cannot express how happy I am that I went with Moko for my hair and make-up. At every step, everyone at Moko was flexible, supportive, and receptive to any questions, comments, and concerns that I had. Melissa was amazing in responding quickly and warmly to my emails and phone calls. In terms of make-up, my biggest fear was not looking clownish (I do not wear a lot of make-up and definitely wanted a natural look) but also not looking washed out in photos. The end result was amazing!! Natural, beautiful, and photo-ready. I also sadly broke out in pre-wedding stress acne, and Melissa suggested a skincare routine that eliminated any wedding acne, and I am still using post-wedding. Gina was incredible with my hair. I went in with a few photos of inspiration, but with no clear idea in mind. I let Gina take the reins, and to be truly honest, my hair was the center-piece of my look. It got more compliments than my dress! It was natural and loose while somehow also being stunningly glamorous. The space was perfect, and Moko was receptive to my somewhat eclectic gathering of supporters (including a toddler and an infant). I did not have a formal bridal party, but they were able to fulfill the requests of sisters, best-friends, mother of the bride, etc. We were able to hang out in their space downstairs, order sushi, drink champagne-- all in all, it was the perfect space to mentally prepare for the day ahead. I cannot suggest Moko enough!

engaged we celebrated and over the course of my engagement worked together to get the right hair style, color and overall look to make me look like the best version of myself. She helped me with my overall look not just for the wedding but for the events leading up to the wedding and the honeymoon. When I look back at my pictures over that time I am absolutely in love with the carefully handpainted colors in my hair. Wedding Shower, Bachelorette Weekend, Rehearsal, Wedding, and HoneyMoon - my hair was on point! Jackie is an artist and an instant friend. She just gets it - and that, to me is what you need in a hairdresser especially in the months, weeks and minutes leading up to your wedding day!

and genuine about making my wedding day special from the start. Melissa made me feel like nothing could go wrong; she coordinated the morning-of to accommodate me, my sister and best friend. I cannot express enough thanks and gratitude to the talented women who made me look and feel beautiful.

tled on a salon for service but became disenchanted when their style team could not perfect the vintage hair and makeup look I wanted for my wedding. After a couple of attempts,after much dismay I had to choose another salon and hope they could get it right. I was referred to Moko, and immediately was impressed by how they handles the situtation. After I called them, they had their wedding planner (yes, someone that specializes in your wedding needs!) call me back. Whitney, my planner, asked if I wanted to tour the salon, informed me of prices, and assured me that I would have a stylist who could perfect a vintage look for myself and my wedding party. And guess what? Not only did they perfect the look, moko's staff exceeded my expectations. Our party was booked for a Saturday and the whole salon to ourselves. They provided pastries and orange juice in champagne flutes for our mimosas. The day was beautiful and the light shining in the windows and jovial atmosphere were more than I could ask for. Today, I am still looking at my wedding photos and beaming. I have since recommended Moko to my friend's who married and they had a very similar experience. I am posting a photo here of my look. I wish I could post all my photos. Maybe I can? It was such a lovely day. My hair and makeup looked perfect. Monique did beautiful fingerwaves on my hair and Melissa got my vintage eyes and pout 'just right'. I highly recommend this salon.
