My style is to shoot candid all day and pose beautiful portraits perfect for framing. When I got married, I was looking for a photographer who was going to shoot from the beginning to the end for the wedding photo book and take some pretty pics of us to frame AND doesn’t cost too much money. It was a lot harder to find than I thought. I am shooting the way I would want. I want to be able to look through my photos of the day and relive the moments. I also want some modern, pretty posed pics. Easy enough!

My years of work in photojournalism have set me up to take candid photos for weddings and events. I started working as a newspaper photographer right after college and started making my way west across the country.
I have worked for The Colorado Springs Gazette, The Antelope Valley Press, the Petoskey News-Review, and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. My photos have appeared in the LA Times, The Seattle Times, USA Today, The Detroit News, and on MSNBC.com.

I cannot recommend Molly enough. She was everything I could’ve asked for and more in a photographer for our wedding. Neither my husband or I are used to being in front the camera, and Molly made us feel so comfortable and relaxed during our special day. Our wedding photos turned out so beautiful and bright, and we will cherish them forever. We particularly love all of the candid photos of us and our guests as well as the gorgeous sunset pictures over looking Lake Michigan. Molly is an exceptional photographer, and we can’t thank her enough for capturing all of those precious moments.

Molly was so fun to work with!! My husband and I hate having our photos taken but she made us feel so comfortable! Our photos were breathtaking and we’re so grateful to have them to look back on and remember our special day (and unruly water dog 😉)

Molly was an absolute dream to work with. She made us feel so comfortable, seen and heard during each experience with her. During our engagement shoot, which was our first time meeting her, it felt as though we had known her forever. She kept things light, fun and exciting. And she was willing to try different angles or ideas we had! Molly provided clear communication throughout the months leading up to our wedding. She came to our event site prior to the wedding to discuss angles, picture otions and what our expectations were. During our wedding day, Molly ran all over to make sure she got pictures of the girls and guys getting ready. She captured so many beautiful pictures, and even went above and beyond and walked into the thick woods in a dress for us! She is dedicated, talented, kind and so amazing at what she does. Our wedding day would not have been the same without her. Should we need a photographer in the future, Molly will be the ONLY one we reach out to! You will not be disappointed with her or her work.

Molly is wonderful! She is so sweet, personable, and fun to work with. We hired Molly for our engagement photos and the experience was fantastic. She ran with our ideas and was super patient with our dog (who decided to not cooperate as well as we would have liked 😂). We had a very windy day at Sleeping Bear Dunes, but that didn’t stop Molly from getting all of the shots. She is communicative and professional. Highly recommend!

She helped make the day a very special one. During the photography session Molly and her assistant made everyone feel comfortable, and kept things light and funny, especially for the bride and groom. At no point did we ever feel rushed and she always took our ideas and ran with them. The candid photos she took really captured our true happiness and joy from that day. Absolutely recommend Molly as your wedding photographer! She photographed our wedding on 5/29 and the photos were absolutely gorgeous and captured the night perfectly with a great mix of editorial shots and portraits. She was very accommodating of our budget and stayed late to capture our fireworks. She printed out photos of inspiration shots I sent her through the planning process and put effort into making sure I got every shot I wanted. The edits were perfect, not too overdone. Can't recommend her enough, you will not find a better photographer with such a fair price.

We worked with Molly for an engagement photo shoot. Molly was an absolute pleasure to work with and made our experience a memorable one. She was very kind to schedule with us on very short notice and even after having some scheduling challenges on our end, still make the shoot work. She was on time and came with a full arsenal of gear. It is clear that Molly is a masterful photographer but in addition to that, she was informative and amiable throughout the process and put us both at ease.
