munication skills throughout the whole planning process were insufficient. She ended up being 30 minutes late to our hmu trial without giving me notice until I was waiting outside her house for 10 minutes. Whenever we contacted her about the day-of timeline, numerous emails from my day-of coordinator as well as myself went unanswered until 15 days later. The most alarming issue though was that she ended up returning to my wedding reception with a wig on and a date without being invited and after her services were concluded. I'm not sure if this is how she normally treats her clientele, but I find it extremely unprofessional and absolutely unacceptable to conduct business this way.

& cannot say enough about her and her team! Every bride worries about their hair and make-up on their wedding day not looking how they wanted it to, this is NOT the case with Molly make-up. They will airbrush you to perfection and the pictures turn out stunning!!!

ll & I felt like a princess on my big day. The women in my bridal party were stunning as well! The artists with Molly make up & hair really did the best at bringing out the most beautiful features of myself & all my ladies. Also, our make up and hair survived hours of happy tears and line dancing. I am so happy I had molly & her team to help make my day so special!

Listen to what you like and don’t like and be able to customize your desired look to fit your features. One size fits all doesn’t work for hair and makeup. This is an area you get what you pay for! We all have that bargain hunting friend who got bridal makeup for $45 and ended up crying as the bridesmaids frantically try to reassure her she looks “fine”. You don’t want to look “fine”. I did a trial with Molly for my engagements and then radically switched hairstyles day of wedding she nailed both the half up half down with fishtail braid for the engagement pics and the low updo for the wedding day! Coming from someone who hates my makeup every time someone else does it I was shocked at how much I loved my makeup from Molly- it was that perfect sweet spot of it’s obviously you just defined and your features highlighted! I can’t say enough about how much I loved Molly! She treats you like you’re her most important client not rushing you to move on to others! She does hair AND makeup so one less thing to try and coordinate. And even came to our venue in San Antonio (Boerne) for a very reasonable travel fee! Plus she did wonders for my mom! At 65 she looked like a movie star! Everyone was relaxed and everyone looked beautiful!! Please treat yourself to the peace of mind of knowing you will love the way you look! It’s worth every penny!!

was nice about Molly was that we were able to have my bridal trial and boudoir makeup done at the same time; so I didn't have to pay extra for another trial. She really listens to you as to what kind of look you are going for and makes it happen. She was flexible and a pleasure to work with. And on top of that, she is extremely talented! On my wedding day, we were running a little behind schedule. Molly was extremely patient and was able to work under pressure. She also had brought another make up artist (Sharon) to do some of my bridesmaids since we knew that we had a time crunch that day (my venue let us in after 2pm and my ceremony was at 6pm). Thank you Molly and Sharon! You guys made me and my bridal party look amazing!

ery short notice (my out-of-state photographer was able to fly in for engagement pictures at the last minute), I reached out to Molly to ask about a make trial run in just over a week. She wrote back to say she couldn't because she was on maternity leave through the end of the year -- so she was unavailable for medical reasons, not unavailable because she was already booked, which I understood... so imagine my confusion when she continued posting pictures of clients she was personally working on throughout the rest of 2016, including immediately before and after the date I asked if she was available. I wish I'd have known she worked with other artists who might have been free to do my trial/engagement makeup, but she neglected to offer this information. Still, I liked her work and was interesting in using her, even without a trial, for my wedding in late February. Then, 3 weeks before my wedding, she emails to say she had something come up with her family but would reach out to me in 1-2 weeks to let me know if it would impact her ability to do my wedding. The week before your wedding is crunch time and already super stressful and now the makeup artist might not be able to make it?! I remained calm, told her I hoped everything would be okay with her family and to update me when she could. Two weeks before the wedding, she reaches out to me as though nothing had happened and confirms that the timeline the Coordinator proposed was good. I'm feeling better since now things are confirmed and the balance has been fully paid, but then... THE NIGHT BEFORE MY WEDDING, she emails me to say she's got "a debilitating medical condition" and can't make it but she'll send her senior artist Sharon Marie instead and will follow up afterwards to make sure I was happy - which she never did. To other brides: her work looks nice online but why risk contracting with someone so unprofessional? Pregnant, Family Issues, Known Personal Health Issues: which excuse will she give you when you've already paid her and then she doesn't actually show up to do the work? They're all decent excuses, but with so many known personal issues and obligations - which you only learn about after you paid her - are you willing to risk it? The only saving grace is that her makeup artist, Sharon Marie is PHENOMENAL! She was on time (arriving and keeping on a tight timeline Day-of), super kind and really personable. My photographer, videographer and guests all raved on how flawless the makeup was for me and my bridal party. I wish I'd known about her own personal bridal makeup business and booked directly with her (which is also less expensive than Molly). The last unbelievable interaction with Molly was just par for the course: I wanted to credit Sharon Marie for her beautiful work since the photos were being published. Molly refused to provide her contact or social media information I'm so glad I was able to google Sharon Marie's name to find her website so she could get the credit she deserved. Do yourself a favor: book directly with Sharon Marie and save yourself the stress and potential flake out (and some cash!) on your big day. She's fantastic and professional...too bad she sometimes covers for someone who isn't.

She arrived at our hotel early, set up a super-efficient station where she processed everyone on schedule, and was so easy to talk to that the time in her chair flew by. Ulimately everyone looked flawless, coordinated, and true to their own comfort level of makeup. Sometimes vendors ask for reviews. Molly didn't, but I felt compelled to write one anyway because she was such a joy to work with.
