We booked Moments in Bloom for our wedding at the Carlsbad Windmill, and would recommend a million times! They were easy to communicate with, and provided an amazing service. I felt like I was constantly emailing Dede with changes, but she was understanding and patient—always reassuring me the florals would be beautiful. The quality of everything on the day of was outstanding. The bouquets! The centerpieces! The arch! The staircase! The attention to detail! The effort put in to each piece was immaculate. I worked with Tara from Moments in Bloom for my wedding on November 6, 2021! Tara was an absolute joy to work with! We had our initial consult and right away, she understood my vision and was making recommendations on how to make it come to life! As we got closer, she worked with me a ton as I finalized the final head count and details. I went back and forth quite a bit in those last few weeks and Tara was so helpful in making decisions. She walked me through how all of the pieces would be reused from the ceremony to the cocktail hour and the reception. On the day of the wedding, she even came into the bridal suite to show me my bouquet and I got choked up because it took my breath away! It was exactly what I dreamt of and more. I thought that was such a sweet gesture to come and show me. It all felt real when I saw my bouquet! As I looked around the ceremony and reception areas, I was blown away at how beautiful everything was. The next day, when I took home my bouquet and some arrangements, I really got a chance to get a good look at them and I was amazed. The flowers were of exceptional quality and the arrangements and bouquets were detailed to perfection. The flowers from Moments in Bloom made my wedding a dream come true. I love Moments in Bloom! They made my vision come to life and it was even better than what I had envisioned. These girls know their flowers and did an upstanding job putting them together. The flowers truly brought everything together at the ceremony and at the reception - they took my breath away. Dede was wonderful to work with, very communicative, and on top of it. I don't have a lot of experience with flowers or table settings but I would describe something to her and she knew exactly what it was I wanted.

It was such a joy to work with Tara from Moments at Bloom. We had a small backyard wedding and the floral arch she created for us hugely elevated the look of our ceremony space. I sent photos of arrangements I liked and she was able to pinpoint exactly what kind of style I was looking for. She gave us a soft, romantic, garden-like look within a budget that worked for us, and nailed the color scheme I had described to her. My bouquet was beautiful, full, and exactly what I wished for. I would definitely recommend Moment in Bloom to anyone looking for a florist.

Moments in bloom was a recommendation from a coworker of mine, and let me just say I was absolutely blown away! I worked with Tara throughout the whole experience and she helped me immensely discussing how to reuse pieces from our ceremony into our reception since our venue had a massive arbor. I am so glad I took her advice!!! It was absolutely gorgeous! Both the ceremony space and the reception had the exact look I wanted!!! She also did our cake and cake stand which was one of the most elegant looks I’ve ever seen and surpassed my expectations. Our bouquets and all of the bridal party pieces were perfect in color, shape and size!! I really know very little about flowers and she walked me through colors and shapes and had me send a bunch of pictures of the look I wanted- even of my dress, my decor and the cake stand so that she made sure everything worked together! When I got home the next day I went through to preserve some of the flowers and it was the first time I got to look at them super close and wow! The quality of these flowers completely surpassed any that I’ve ever seen at a wedding! They even smelled amazing!!! She really worked with me, a lot, and she did a phenomenal job! I could not recommend her more!!!

I can't say how incredible it was to have Moments in Bloom as our florist. Tara was so professional and on top of things from day one. When we went to our in person meeting (pre-COVID) she had refreshments, champagne, and nuts for us. It was a sweet gesture. She had lots of look books for us to skim through and let us browse her inventory to see if what we liked. I am not very good with florals and my mother in law is very knowledgeable, Tara was so amazing working with us both. My mother in law had pretty high expectations and Tara exceeded them every step of the way. We had to postpone twice and Tara was so flexible throughout the process. She went above and beyond with visiting our new venue when we had a last minute change. She made our backyard private ceremony feel like the most magical, romantic, elegant, and timeless wedding ever. She was great at offering ideas to give our event that wow factor. I would hire Tara over and over and over again.

Tara brought our vision to life for our big day! We highly recommend Moments in Bloom. Tara was able to create everything we wanted, including a gorgeous garland for the tree in our ceremony and head table. The centerpieces were amazing including the vases and lanterns she provided. We wish we could relive every moment!

This review is less about the beautiful flower arrangements Didi puts together and more about the wonderful type of person that she is. Our wedding was cancelled the day prior to the event due to the Coronavirus. As any future bride can imagine, I was distraught. We had a small event in our backyard as a replacement. Didi not only still put together some of our arrangements but put together some with different colors and different flowers that looked less weddingy as she feared wedding flowers could make our day much worse. That was by far the most kindhearted, generous act I could imagine from a wedding vendor. In addition, she returned us what money should could (for labor, delivery, etc.) and we couldn't be more thankful. Moral of the story, her flowers are absolutely beautiful and perhaps more importantly, she is the type of person you'll want to have supporting you on your big day!

Highly, highly recommend Moments in Bloom! Dede did such an amazing job on flowers for my wedding last month. Let me start by saying that flowers ended up being one of the most stressful components of wedding planning for me because I had no idea how pricey flowers are. With that said, Dede at Moments in Bloom went out of her way to work with my budget AND still make my vision come to life. Moments in Bloom really over delivered on the day of - way more flowers than I expected. There were flowers everywhere and gorgeous blooms - huge, blooming roses (no buds or small roses), in beautiful colors (blush, mauve, light lavender, champagne, ivory), hydrangea and greens that really complemented the venue. I had a mix of round and banquet tables and so had both centerpieces and garlands. The centerpieces and garlands were FULL and gorgeous. Loved the flowers on the gate at our ceremony. I LOVED my bouquet, peonies, roses, and gardenia. Dede was very honest and candid about which flowers would be in season in August, what works well together, what will not work, etc. I was that annoying bride who kept looking at Pinterest and IG photos even after our initial consult, confusing myself more and more and likely annoying the vendor, but Dede never showed it - she was so sweet and patient throughout. She is so great to work with AND delivers a gorgeous product. I am super happy with the flowers and can't believe I was so stressed out about it. The guests are still gushing about them! Tara from Moments in Bloom was absolutely amazing!! My husband and I had some very loose ideas of what we wanted initially, and she helped us a lot with some ideas to get started. Once I started poking around Pinterest I found a bouquet I really loved, sent her a picture, and that's exactly what showed up on the wedding day! She tied together all the flowers with the colors we gave her flawlessly. I was stunned when I saw the arch for the ceremony- it turned out more beautiful than I could ever have imagined! The guests at our wedding took almost as many pictures of the flowers as they did us. :) Tara was so sweet and easy to work with, and never once complained about the many, many emails I sent her. I would definitely recommend Moments in Bloom! :)

Beautiful flower arrangements at a very reasonable price. We received so many compliments on the tasteful arrangements for our wedding, and a ton of people wanted to take them home! They even lasted over two weeks after! They are professional and so simple to work with. With every decision for a wedding becoming so overwhelming, it was nice to work with a straightforward company that just does it right.

Dede did a phenomenal job producing florals for my wedding. I was a little confused on the direction I wanted and gave her a general idea of the theme I was targeting (autumn rustic elegance) and some photo samples of bouquets and floral arches that I liked. Dede took those hints and completely nailed my vision. She went above and beyond to produce the most stunning florals I have ever seen... an incredible cascading bride's bouquet, gorgeous bridesmaid bouquets, floral centerpieces, and a beautiful garland that she set up on the pepper tree that backed our ceremony space (and was then transferred to our sweetheart table). She also provided beautiful complements to the spaces, including accent florals in small vases that accompanied the large centerpieces, as well as accent florals to dress up our tiered cake. Dede is extremely talented, responsive, and so easy to work with. She has a large selection of rentals, as well, that helped us achieve our vision. Huge thanks to Dede for the amazing work! I would highly recommend Moments in Bloom!

Moments in Bloom is amazing!!! We used moments in bloom through a referral in our wedding planner and it was the best decision! The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and everything we envisioned and more! The centerpiece for our head table was beautifully designed and full and romantic! They offered excellent suggestions for other decor that matched the overall theme perfectly- I will continue to refer my friends to Moments in Bloom and would highly refer to any San Diego weddings looking for great quality flowers that will be sure to make your special day perfect . The flowers at our wedding were absolutely stunning. Moments in Bloom exceeded my expectations! Tara was so friendly & easy to work with. We had a budget to stick to & she was great at offering suggestions on where to save without sacrificing aesthetics. At our initial consultation, I showed her images from my pinterest board and we went from there. There was one image in particular that I loved, and Tara nailed it. So many guests came up to me the day of, and since, to tell me how beautiful my flowers were. I was very worried about making our venue beautiful since it was DIY, but after seeing the bouquets, my worries vanished. The flowers completely transformed the space and made my wedding day every bit as beautiful as I had hoped!

I would HIGHLY recommend Moments in Bloom for your wedding! Tara and Dede worked with my planner and me to make my wedding look exactly how I had dreamed! They have great prices and are wonderful to work with, not to mention just being great people! They made a beautiful arch for our ceremony, beautiful centerpieces for our reception, as well as perfect little details (flowers on our welcome sign, on the gift table, and on the cake and cake table). I worked with Tara to design the florals for my December 30, 2016 wedding and received the flowers of my dreams. I live out of town so all our communication was done over email and pinterest and yet I felt like Tara completely knew my vision and delivered one thousand percent. She was amazing to work with and the flowers were of the highest quality. I would especially thank Tara and Moments in Bloom for their flexibility. I had already paid the full balance for the florals when we decided to drop four reception tables (which meant a decrease of 8 centerpieces)- Tara graciously worked with me and my coordinator, Robyn Fallon of R. Nicole Events, to increase the size of the other arrangements and source even fancier flowers so that the balance would remain the same. The florals were perfect and everything I imagined! I would highly recommend Moments in Bloom for any event!

We all enjoyed working with Dede (bride, groom, parents) and the results were just gorgeous! She listened carefully to our budget expectations, and exactly captured the tone and color palette of the wedding. We rented the rustic-looking arbor to use as a chuppah, and it worked out beautifully.

Dede was the florist for my recent wedding and she was AMAZING! I went in with a couple of different visions and Dede helped me pick out what flowers would fit best with my wedding theme. I could not have been happier with how my flowers turned out. They were one of my favorite parts of the whole wedding. Tara was amazing to work with and my flowers were absolutely stunning. They exceeded my expectations. When I first met with Tara I had a pretty good idea about what I wanted. She listened carefully and offered suggestions. When I left, I was worried I wouldn't be able to afford her but her quote came back the same as another florist but Tara's arrangements were way more modern and current. I was thrilled! When she walked in on the wedding day while I was getting ready i was blown away about how good everything looked. Everyone commented on our flowers the whole evening. Tara not only communicated with me extremely fast, she made the picture I gave her come to life. My wedding bouquet was simple perfect. It was even better than I expected. It was gorgeous, it smelled amazing, and stunning in my pictures. One of my work friends and my photographer told me about Tara's beautiful work and oh my and I thankful to them both. Lionel and Katy Fujioka's Wedding September 6, 2015 I needed to take a moment to recognize this wonderful team of florists. This was our experience with Dede and Tara and we could not be happier with the results. About 6 months before our wedding, I was ready to book with another florist that was located much farther from our wedding site, the Carlsbad Hilton. We called our wedding coordinator at the Hilton, and her first recommendation was the Moments in Bloom team located in Carlsbad. My first interaction with Dede was email setting up a time that we could be introduced via FaceTime (we live 2 hours away from Carlsbad). I immediately feel in love with not only her professionalism and welcoming personality, but also the talent she displayed. Yes, on our first "meeting" FaceTime phone call, she created the centerpiece that was beyond what I envisioned. It was absolutely beautiful. I committed to Dede and her team on the spot. As the months passed, Dede was open to ALL the changes I made up until the week before the wedding. She was extremely patient with me. =] Her prices were fair, considering I did some shopping around before I was able to commit to her. The day of the wedding was THE FIRST TIME I was able to meet Dede and Tara personally. The day went beyond smooth because of the way they handled set up of all my beautiful arrangements, and so much more. Moments gave me so much to remember about our special day. It was BEYOND what I envisioned and it showed Dede and Tara's true talents considering we only communicated through email and phone calls. I cannot thank the Moments in Bloom team enough for making more than anything I could ever imagine. Thank you Dede and Tara! Your talents are beyond amazing!

Dede was amazing, she put together beautiful flowers for our ceremony and reception that were exactly what I had pictured. Here's the catch: Dede and I only physically met on my wedding day. My husband and I planned a destination wedding, so Dede and I exclusively spoke via email and phone. Yet, somehow, she was able to get a spot-on reading of my vision and taste in flowers. She was communicative, flexible, and creative in all of our conversations, and I could not have been happier with the final result. If she could pull off all of that never having laid eyes on me, I can only imagine the beauty she'd create with a local bride!

DD did a great job. Everyone was very impressed with the flowers. I have been married for almost a month now and my bouquet is still beautiful. I actually have some roses that are still thriving in a water vase. I am very happy to have used Moments in Bloom

Moments in Bloom rocks! We are so happy to have had Moments in Bloom as our wedding florist in October 2013. They came highly recommended by our photographer Chelsea Anne, and rightly so! They did gorgeous work at very competitive prices. Moments in Bloom played a very special and important part in our wedding. Floral design was very important to me, as I ultimately had some fairly specific looks and flowers in mind. I spent a great deal of time examining the Moments in Bloom website and photo blog to ensure I loved their style, then reached out to them! We had a great meeting with Dede at their studio in Carlsbad, and we just really liked her and Tara and their whole vibe! They are both super nice, very talented and hardworking, and you can just tell how much they love what they do. After we booked them as our florist, my now-husband and I actually moved out of state, and we suddenly had a ‘destination wedding’ on our hands! But it was so easy to work with Dede over phone and e-mail to discuss our wedding floral design and communicate ideas and visions. Dede was very responsive, thoughtful and patient to boot! She hunted down the perfect centerpiece vases and customized them just for us; Dede also happened to find me some special ranunculus flowers for my bridal bouquet in the exact perfect color, despite having counted them out since they were out of season! Just a bit of magic she managed that I had to mention. ;-) In regard to the wedding day itself – Dede and Tara were prompt, reliable, and ever so efficient! Our venue, the Safari Park out in Escondido, requires vendors to cart all of their stuff into the middle of the park literally on golf carts. It’s no small challenge, and certainly adds to set-up time, so they were hustling! But man, did they deliver. Everything was beautiful and arranged perfectly. We highly recommend you consider Moments in Bloom for your wedding florals!

We worked with Tara at Moments in Bloom and we are so happy with the beautiful arrangements. We gave them a pretty tight budget to work with and they stayed within our budget and still made it look absolutely beautiful. My daughter was getting married at Falkner Winery in Temecula. It is such a beautiful and romantic setting for a wedding, so we envisioned a classic, romantic look for the flowers. Peonies, roses and hydrangeas in blush, pale pink whites were our color choices. I spoke to Tara on the phone long before I ever met her and knew from our first phone conversation that she understood what we were going for. I had seen her work in a San Diego Weddings magazine and loved what I saw. I had sent her pics from pinterest of looks that my daughter and I loved and she was very attentive to our wants and needs. Her work was so spectacular and our guests raved about how beautiful all of the flowers were. I feel flowers are at the top of the list of importance when it comes to wedding planning. They set the tone for the entire wedding and we received exactly what we were looking for = FABULOUSNESS!!!

Since I heard about Moments in Bloom by word of mouth - they don't have a huge web presence yet - I thought I would give them a review here. I loved every aspect of working with the ladies at Moments in Bloom. Dede was my main contact, and she was awesome: professional, talented, and so sweet! I don't know much at all about flowers, but had some photos of arrangements/bouquets that I liked and Dede really made those come to life. She totally got my vision and the flowers were just stunning. She made "mock ups" for me to see before the wedding and tried out lots of different kinds of flowers to make sure I was really happy with the final decisions. I also appreciated the little details that Moments in Bloom did that set them apart from other florists I was looking at: 1. They had interesting glassware (e.g. bubble bowls) that looked really cool and I had never seen before. 2. They wanted to tailor the flowers to our event in a personal way - my fiance and I are scientists so some of our arrangements were in beakers and flasks and that was a big hit! 3. They have their own arches for wedding ceremonies (a lot of florists don't and require you to rent these separately) and did all the set up and break down. I got so many compliments on my wedding flowers. We went with plain white table linens because the centerpieces were so spectacular, and I'm glad we did! They were a highlight of the event. All in all, I feel like I really lucked out in finding Moments in Bloom, and I couldn't recommend them any more. Customer service was top notch. I am totally going to hire these ladies again for any event I plan in the future!
