Choosing to work with LyKai was the BEST decision we made for our wedding! We hired LyKai as our month-of coordinator for our Indian wedding for 350+ people. From the get-go, LyKai was an absolute dream to work with. She immediately put us at ease when taking over coordination of all the details and she proactively offered suggestions and ideas rather than just being reactive to our requests (the latter is something that other planners often do). Her communications and follow-up actions were always so timely. And she took care of truly everything, from all the big stuff all the way down to things like making and framing the signs for our welcome table. She went above and beyond, and I always knew that we were in such good hands with LyKai. I never had to worry! At the reception, we had 350+ guests and LyKai and her team handled every single part of the event with the utmost professionalism and grace. Starting with when I arrived at the venue and realized I forgot a steamer, LyKai immediately procured one (she also had a wonderful welcome package waiting with a sweet card and all the emergency items a bride could need!). We hosted our wedding at a museum where the guests were spread out throughout the museum during the cocktail hour, and LyKai and her team were able to get everyone into the main pavilion for us to start our program in a timely manner. At the reception, we wanted to take pictures with every table, which is quite a feat with so many guests, and LyKai said “no problem at all!” and handled it perfectly and kept everything moving so efficiently. What stood out to us, and what distinguishes her from other planners, is that that not only does LyKai execute FLAWLESSLY, but she does so with the BEST energy and attitude - she is kind, warm, encouraging, supportive, and always stays calm under pressure and puts everyone around her at ease. She truly truly cares about the couple and their families (as well as the guests and all the vendors), and she continually demonstrates that through her words and actions. If you’re looking to plan your dream wedding…do yourself a favor and hire LyKai!

We have only great things to say about our experience with LyKai from Movements Remembered Events. From our first conversation a couple months out, she made us feel at ease and made sure every detail of our wedding was taken care of. The wedding day itself was stress free thanks to her guidance. I knew LyKai was the right fit for my wedding from the moment we had our initial phone call. She is professional beyond belief and helped to traverse every obstacle the planning process through our way while keeping my budget in mind. She had creative solutions and outstanding vendor relationships that made my wedding the fairytale I’d never realized I could have. You get to learn a lot about someone after working with them for a whole year, and I can confidently say looking back on this process that partnering with the LyKai was the best thing I did!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about LyKai and her team. I feel like I was a very organized bride and definitely more minimal in terms of what I wanted. However, LyKai was so helpful throughout the entire planning process and made sure I didn't feel any stress during my day (as well as leading up to it). Her recommendations for vendors were great and she helped me out by providing some of the smaller decor herself. She is very responsive and organized herself- the programs that she uses make planning super easy! Overall, I would recommend LyKai for any of your party planning needs!!

If you are reading this right now to get an idea of if you want to hire LyKai and the Moments Remembered team, my immediate feedback to you is do it. LyKai worked with us the 11 months before our wedding and felt like a credible guiding light the entire time. Not only that, but like a friend and wedding mentor the entire way through. She has a jovial personality, great sense of humor, and strong insight that make her a person you can't wait to talk to again. We never felt that she imposed her opinion on us, if anything, she makes it a strong point to ensure that the couple are empowered to have a vision and leave her to execute it. If you are really at an impasse, you can rely on her to give feedback that will steer you in the right direction. We were a couple that weren't the easiest to please. We also wavered on a lot of decisions, through it all, LyKai had the patience to always be on our side and never show any semblance of frustration. If you are low maintenance, medium maintenance, or high maintenance, you have found a home with Moments Remembered Events. As we got closer to wedding time, we really felt the ramp up in effort and sense of urgency that is necessary in this timeframe. LyKai was a true PM, crossing everything off the list, and adding what we weren't thinking of. It should also be said that she was willing to take on so many extra tasks to ensure that we were ready for the big day. Whether it meant last minute quotations, hauling up items in her own car to our event that are from her personal archive, or hopping on a call spontaneously just to hear us out, all of our concerns were addressed. As I reflect on our wedding day and all the chaos that it entails, I truly could not imagine being able to enjoy the day I would have wanted without LyKai and team being there to handle everything. My wife and I had the best day of our life and LyKai was a huge part of that. Additionally, even though she is San Diego based, she managed our event in Los Angeles seamlessly. Coordinating with vendors in LA, OC, and SD all at the same time to find us the most competitive options available. If you are in any of these markets, do not hesitate based on her location, just make the call. The hardest part of it all is realizing that this wonderful person is no longer part of your week to week life anymore. I have the utmost respect for LyKai and admire her work ethic, passion, and genuinely fun personality that she has. If you still have questions at the end of this review, I would happily answer any that you have. But I assure you that this is the right person to help you on your journey.

We hired Lykai for Day/Month-of-Coordination and it was a great decision! She checked in with me regularly throughout the wedding planning process to make sure things were going smoothly and even helped save some costs by suggesting alternate vendors, and reading contracts. Having her help was crucial during the last two months as she took over all communication and coordination between all the vendors and the venue, and I could trust that everyone would be where and when they needed to be there. Everything ran smoothly on the day of as well!

Lykai went above and beyond and helped make our last minute planning in the few months before the wedding go very smoothly. She and her team were very helpful on the day-off, handling hiccups, and adjustments with ease and relieved a ton of stress off of us on our wedding day.

Hiring Lykai as our wedding planner was the best decision we could have made! The only thing I would change about my wedding would be to have hired her SOONER! She literally saved me. I started planning my wedding on my own and I was so overwhelmed. Thank God for Lykai!!! Again, if I had known better back then I would have hired her from the start! Before I even got engaged, I knew that I wanted to hire a wedding coordinator because I had seen and experienced the stress of planning a large family event. I did as much research as I could and, after speaking to multiple coordinators and comparing prices, I decided to go with Moments Remembered Events. LyKai is one of the kindest people I have ever met. She is calm and reassuring, which helped me during moments of stress. I do not know how I would have made it through the planning process without her. Prior to my wedding, I was a full time student and I was also working full time. The number of unknowns in every aspect of my life was overwhelming sometimes. However, having LyKai there to help me through wedding planning was the best. She informed me of details I hadn’t even thought of, she reminded me of some wedding traditions that I incorporated into my wedding (which made it even more special), and she seamlessly planned every aspect of my husband and I’s wedding day. In addition, LyKai was there to help our wedding party and I through the photography process, which ended up being longer than planned. She brought us some of the appetizers and drinks so we could refuel before we all went to the reception venue for the first time. Lykai actually was the day of coordinator for a wedding I was a bridesmaid in year ago and I'm so happy we hired her for our wedding. LyKai was a dream to work with! I could not have asked for a better wedding planner, because LyKai is the absolute best. I was a COVID bride, so I worked with LyKai for almost 2 years planning my wedding. I hired her for month of planning, but she was so generous and patient, answering all of my questions whenever I felt stressed or confused. She is literally one of the nicest people ever. Whenever I felt overwhelmed and stressed out, she was there to lend an ear and help calm me down. Even sometimes late at night when something was bothering me, I'd text LyKai and she's always have an answer either immediately or within a few hours. All of my friends and family commented on how top notch she was before and during the wedding. Keep in mind, I'm very Type A and have high expectations in general, and LyKai far exceeded mine. She is always on top of things and such an expert at what she does. My wedding day was more than I could have dreamed of and it was all thanks to her. I'm going to miss chatting with her now that my wedding is over, but I'll still be dreaming of my wedding day forever! Thank you LyKai! LyKai was absolutely amazing as our month of coordinator. She helped us find all the perfect vendors for our wedding, helped us figure out our layout since we live out of town, and helped make our wedding day go off without a hitch. Our whole wedding day was stress free thanks to her and her team. We would and WILL recommend her to everyone we know!

We weren't planning to hire a wedding coordinator, but our hotel venue required it for the wedding day. We followed up with a few recommendations, and LyKai won our hearts from the first Zoom call. She really took the time to get to know us and make sure we were comfortable with her. And we were almost immediately. LyKai was beyond a Day of Coordinator. The communication began months before just here and there to keep us on track. She was there for the venue walk-thru, to answer any questions we had. She's super responsive. And maybe most importantly, LyKai had a super calming effect on my high anxiety level. She is just a sweetheart who will take care of making sure your special day goes just as you imagined. LyKai was such an incredible blessing to our entire wedding process. First of all, her professionalism and proactive nature made the planning, execution, and task list so manageable and Fun! She replied to inquiries immediately and always took as much time as needed to assist us with ideas or to completely answer any question we had. LyKai on wedding day cleaned, organized, packed and assembled everything. She did so almost without being seen. Somehow through all the excitement and energy, she managed decorations, the processional, last second changes, handling the music, and coordination with all our vendors (and much more) all in the background on wedding day. Incredible. I just had a ball and could enjoy every minute because I knew how “on it” this woman was. The most important thing for me was that by the end of the process I felt so close to her and was inspired by her gentle calm demeanor when so much was going on. My wedding went better than I even imagined. All the details and the love was so far beyond my expectation and I attribute a lot of that to LyKai. My best friend also used LyKai and we are both project managers. We are detail oriented and then you meet LyKai and it is a whole new level! My new husband and I are so blessed to have crossed paths with her and to have had her help through our 20 month engagement. If you are on the fence about hiring a coordinator, think no further, this was the best decision of the wedding.

My wife and I used Lykai as our wedding planner back in July of 2021. I cant say enough about how amazing she is at her job. Everything about our wedding was perfect! My wife was going through her masters program and full time job when we planned our wedding, so the planning was really put on my shoulders... After meeting with Lykai I immediately opted for the full time planning package and it was worth every penny! My husband and I hired LyKai as our day/month of coordinator, and she is the BEST! We were a month out from our wedding last year when the pandemic hit, and then we had to postpone it for a year and a half. By the time the new date came around, LyKai was on top of getting us back on track. We had to find a new photographer and florist, and she had great recommendations for both! My husband and I both lack any kind of decorative eye or details for party planning, so we appreciated all of LyKai’s ideas for what we could do to make the wedding beautiful and completely us. Lykai is by far the best wedding planner ever. She was the light to covid nightmare darkness. We had to postpone our wedding 4 times and Lykai never gave up hope for us. My son and daughter in law had the pleasure of working with Lykai Johnson to plan their wedding. I was so anxious to finally meet Lykai on the wedding day. I had heard so much about her. During the months leading up to the big day, Lykai took on all plans that were in process, connected with all vendors and gave my son and daughter in law such a comfort level. LyKai was simply incredible since the first time we spoke. She was so on top of EVERYTHING regarding our big day. Despite selecting the month-of package, she went far and beyond. She went through each of our vendor contracts with an eagle eye, and ended up saving us $1,000 by negotiating one of our contracts (even after we had signed it). She made the whole planning process extremely pleasurable and was so on top of it throughout our big day. She gave me such a piece of mind because I knew she was taking caring of everything. Lykai is a phenomenal wedding coordinator! I can't say enough good things about her and her assistant. Lykai recommended wonderful vendors- hair dresser, DJ, florist, venue, and photographers- and saved us a ton of money! All of the venders were professional, competent, and very affordable. Lykai is very knowledgeable, efficient, organized, and caring. She has a sweet, helpful spirit. She is quickly responsive to emails and calls. She and her assistant work extremely hard to make sure that your wedding goes smoothly, and the details are taken care of. We appreciate her so much, and thank God for her.

My husband and I got engaged in May 2020 and hired Lykai shortly after. Planning a wedding isn't easy, but planning a destination wedding during Covid was incredibly stressful. Lykai and Daniella were our MVP's (Most Valuable Planners.) They were with us every step of the way. We hired them for Month of planning, but it felt like they did so much more than what was required of them. Throughout the planning process, it was comforting to just talk to them and get advice on Covid wedding planning. They also kept us informed on the Covid situation/guidelines in San Diego, since we were not from the area. I also had one wedding emergency where I needed a new photographer just 3 weeks before the wedding(!!) and they immediately helped me find a new one! I wasn't anxious at all the day of our wedding, because I knew we were in good hands with Lykai and Daniella. On top of all that, they are so kind-hearted, easy to work with, affordable, and true professionals! You can't go wrong with them!

Planning a wedding during COVID is no easy feat but you CAN have the wedding of your dreams with vendors like LyKai. Due to a busy career, I had most of my wedding planned in November of 2019. But when you make plans, God laughs right? I was unsure if we needed a wedding planner but decided a "month of" wedding planner to be the best to fit our needs. We hired Moments Remembered in December of 2019 for her "month of" wedding planning package. Once COVID hit, I knew that my wedding plans would have to dramatically change. LyKai was with me every step of the way. LyKai was constantly coming up with ideas to make my new intimate wedding safe and fun. She went above and beyond her role to reach out to all of my vendors when we initially began making wedding changes. She is truly an expert planner with a lot of experience and I felt this in the months leading up to 8/22. She thought of all possible scenarios, plans A/B/C and so many things I did not even think of. I am a very type A personality and felt like I was "on top" of the wedding but truly, I could not have held it together with my career and DURING a pandemic without LyKai. She did so much magic behind the scenes to execute my perfect day. She was responsive to each early morning email and flexible with plans and changes. She created a wedding day packing list which was crucial I had all the decor and items we needed to have our wedding including our wedding license. The weekend of my wedding she surprised me with a wedding survival box of items, including a wedding dress hanger with my new last name. My wedding day was magical and she did an incredible job setting up the wedding/reception with all of my decor. It was exactlly how I had envisioned. Thank you LyKai!

This review is hard for me because I have so many nice things that I can say about Lykai. Basically, she is the best. Wedding planning is stressful but Lykai made the whole process so much easier. She reassured me the whole way through, guided us, and helped calm me. After meeting her for the first time I knew she would have my back and she did. She took such good care of us. The day of the wedding, I knew I didn't have to worry about anything. Just having her around made me feel at ease. Lykai didn't treat us like clients but more like family which I loved. We love you Lykai!!!!

LyKai was a wonderful wedding coordinator. She was very friendly and positive, responsive, well-prepared, and worked very well with our other vendors! Our other vendors commented to us that LyKai was really great to work with and were impressed with how detail-oriented she was. LyKai also did a fantastic job setting up decor at our wedding, and everything looked beautiful.

LyKai was fantastic as our day of coordinator. We had the "big stuff" figured out, but she was crucial in helping us piece it all together. She was also on top of every detail, helping us have an issue free wedding! Our wedding was everything we dreamed it would be and we can't thank LyKai enough for helping make that happen.

LyKai at Moments Remembered Events was absolutely amazing. Because of her, our wedding process was so much smoother and less stressful - we were able to really enjoy our big day as opposed to stressing about everything! LyKai is also hands down one of the nicest people I have ever met, so we really enjoyed working with her. My husband and I both have hectic schedules due to personal activities and work, so hiring LyKai and Moments Remembered was one of the best moves we have ever made. We both agree that our number one piece of wedding advice for engaged couples is to hire Moments Remembered as at least a month of coordinator. It makes such a huge difference. There are so many coordination things that come up in that last month that we would not have been able to handle on our own nor known to do. LyKai created our timeline, coordinated with our vendors, and handled all of the last-minute details. Because we had Moments Remembered Events , we were able to actually enjoy time with family who had traveled for the wedding – LyKai took care of things while we were sightseeing! On the day of, Moments Remembered handled all of the décor set up and made our reception and ceremony sites look amazing. When I saw them, I was absolutely stunned at how beautiful they were – she had gone above and beyond what I was expecting. LyKai also handled the timeline on the day of – I was able to focus on soaking in the day instead of stressing about all the moving pieces. I think the best evidence of LyKai’s skills and dedication is the fact that I don’t know of a single thing that went wrong at our wedding. I was warned by many couples (most of which did not use a coordinator) that at least one thing will go wrong on the big day, but nothing bad reached myself or my husband. LyKai took care of everything. We felt very blessed to have LyKai for our wedding, and cannot recommend her services enough!!

Lykai was the kindest most organized dream of a wedding planner! She was on top of the entire wedding throughout our process together. Working with LyKai was an absolutely perfect experience. It was a flawless event! We hired her for our outdoor January wedding and she arranged everything for us from the cake to the flowers to the menus and the seating chart, which worked like a dream because my husband and I lead very busy lives and that way we were able to fully enjoy the day of the wedding with the peace of mind of knowing that LyKai had taken care of everything. Lykai is a dream to work with! I hired Lykai to be just my day-of wedding coordinator for my wedding last month In September. We met her at a bridal show in February or March and she was utterly charming and sweet then, and remained that throughout our whole wedding planning process. We hired LyKai to be our day-of coordinator, and she also helped out the entire month before the wedding! She was, in a word, phenomenal. She was incredibly responsive via text/call/or email; she offered suggestions when asked and kept me so organized; she kept track of everything so that I didn’t have to; she communicated with all vendors; she gave me the sweetest gift basket on the day of containing an adorable hanger for my dress with my new last name on it, as well as a ton of emergency items (like deodorant, bobby pins, etc.); and she has the kindest, warmest personality that always made us feel so comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend LyKai. You cannot go wrong with her, and I cannot imagine a better experience!!

As a mom ( who lives in WA) helping plan my daughter’s wedding (at Brick in San Diego), words cannot describe how GREAT it was to have Lykai (Moments Remembered Events) as our day of (month of) wedding planner!!! Lykai was so organized, efficient, and professional! She was also the kindest, sweetest, most positive person who really got to know us and who truly loves planning and putting on weddings! She had so many great ideas and helped us stay on budget. She planned a very workable timeline in advance, kept us on track, and handled all the vendors. I got to spend the day of the wedding with my daughter and her bridesmaids while Lykai handled the entire setup. When we arrived at the venue it was an incredible feeling to walk in and see everything set up perfectly!!! Lykai masterfully orchestrated the ceremony, the flip to the reception, the timeline throughout the evening....everything went so smoothly!! She also managed the entire cleanup, including loading a groomsman’s truck with everything that had to go home! I cannot rave enough about how WONDERFUL Lykai was!! We LOVED having her.... she was AMAZING!!!

I can never say enough amazing things about LyKai! We booked her as a day-of-coordinator but she was in constant communication with us for more than a month before the wedding. From the beginning she was one of the most positive upbeat people I have ever met and it was such a joy to get to know her. I didn't have a super clear vision of what I wanted my wedding or reception to look like but I described the elements that my now-husband and I had decided on and she was able to pull all of those together to create a seamless look. She even loaned us numbers for our tables and 'reserved seating' signs for our ceremony when she heard that we hadn't gotten any yet. I honestly don't know what we would have done without her. Getting married in San Diego we figured we were safe with a fully outdoor venue (the Martin Johnson house) and literally had no plan for rain up until the week ahead of our wedding. This was despite the fact that the forecast had been predicting rain on our wedding day a full month out and refused to change. While doing the walkthrough with LyKai she helped us overcome our denial and come up with layouts for both sunny and rainy days and then did a ton of hard work contacting our rental company and others to get quotes for tents and figuring out how to make everything work. On the day of, she was the first to arrive and completely coordinated all of our vendors setup so that my bridesmaids and mom could focus on relaxing and getting ready with me. When we arrived at the venue everything was all set to go for the ceremony and looked better than I could have ever imagined. Because we were using our rain day plan that had only part of the deck covered with a large tent she had to coordinate flipping the ceremony spot to dining and then flipping it again to a dance floor a few hours later. This was a ton of extra work since our original plan had all three of these occurring in separate areas which meant it could have all been set up ahead of time. Despite this, LyKai never seem flustered or rushed and I don't think any of our guests even noticed that anything was going on in the background while they enjoyed the cocktail hour or were asked to step inside the house for a video presentation made by my mom. The entire evening just flowed absolutely seamlessly and that would not have been possible without LyKai. The only question I got asked by any vendor was when our bartender asked if I'd like a drink or one of our waiters asked if I'd like some of the cocktail hour appetizers brought to our table. My husband and I could truly just enjoy the reception with our guests which was amazing. She also prevented me from accidentally using my own bouquet in the bouquet toss since I'd told her earlier I wanted to keep it and use one of the smaller bridesmaid ones instead but then forgot in the heat of the moment. At the end of the evening, LyKai also stayed to pack all the decorations we had brought into a car for my brothers to drive back and supervised as our vendors packed up their equipment and left. I'm sure she was the last one to leave the venue. I give LyKai my highest recommendation, she is an absolute professional, has a true eye for design, is so sweet, and will exceed your expectations in every way! If you are planning a wedding, book LyKai!

Lykai helped make our wedding day perfect! From day one, she was so helpful and responsive. I felt like she truly cared about our wedding and our wishes, all the while keeping our budget in mind. She was also helpful with informing me of things I didn’t even know I needed to think about! She was able to accommodate a room flip as we had both the ceremony and reception at the same venue, which was a lot of work! Without a doubt, our wedding day would have been a disaster without her there to help keep things organized and on schedule!
