We were recommended by a friend who used Bart with MomentstoMemories DJ for their wedding in Tahoe. Unfortunately, he was booked on our day, but Bart referred us to Robert within the same group and he was excellent. Robert was very accommodating with web meetings and the preparation for our event. He listened to our thoughts and ideas. He provided excellent tips to plan the wedding day out smoothly. Robert was prepared, supported our ideas, and we're so happy to say the day was beautiful. There were no technical or musical issues or concerns. He played a well-rounded combination of modern music with classics so all ages were on the dance floor during the night. Technically, he was very sound and his experience showed. The photo booth surpassed my expectations! The set-up, staff, and photos were a huge feature at the wedding and all the guests enjoyed it so much. Working with Bart was extremely easy and I feel that he provides the BEST value out there. From the first call we had I could tell that he really wanted to get to know us as a couple and our music preferences but what really stood out was how personable, nice and real he was. We knew that we were probably more selective than most couples when it came to music, and we interviewed several DJs before we found Moments to Memories. We are so happy that we chose to work with them. While we knew Bart was a very in-demand DJ, we always felt like we were a top priority, even during the busy season. We had several meetings with him via video chat prior to our big day, and found Bart to be very easy to work with, and we felt very comfortable with both his wedding experience (logistics can be complicated), and his music knowledge and taste. We had some very specific requests (we had an outdoor tea ceremony and cocktail hour, and an indoor ceremony and reception) and Bart accommodated for all of them easily. I never felt like I was asking too much, and because Bart has clearly seen so many different wedding iterations, it all seemed to come together pretty effortlessly. The music felt both familiar and interesting. We had a playlist that we shared in advance, and we were both really happy with the direction that it went through the night. There was a custom remix that I requested, and it was an absolute highlight of the night to hear it. I should also add that Bart is a very nice guy, and all of the guests and vendors who got to interact with him had nothing but positive things to say. There is a reason why Moments to Memories has so many great reviews. We would happily recommend them to any of our friends and family!

Wedding planning has got to be one of the most tedious/stressful side jobs on the planet. If you are like us and are doing all the planning yourself, make this easy decision and hire DJ Bart. He was by far the best vendor we hired for our wedding and had all of our guests dancing the entire night. Comments afterwards from many guests were, "I have never seen everyone at a wedding dancing the entire time". We couldn't agree more and Bart was awesome to work with from the beginning. My wife Stephanie and I were beyond happy to have Bart DJ for our wedding. He was professional, courteous, timely, and worked with us in all of our needs. Not only did he provide music but he also emceed for the whole event which made the wedding much more dynamic. Having someone who is a great public speaker and can read a crowd goes a long way towards creating a more engaging and memorable experience. He took the time to meet with us on multiple occasions leading up to our wedding where we discussed scheduling, songs, microphone details for toasts and the officiant, and much more. He even took things a step further by bringing extra lighting to the venue to help with the ambiance. As someone who is a professional musician I can also say that Bart exceeds the standard of a professional DJ by also himself being a professional musician. This made communicating about music choices so much more easy. He was able to provide excellent suggestions about the flow of songs, playlists, and timing of dances. While he made great suggestions he was never pushy and always told us to trust whatever our gut feeling was. I highly encourage you to hire Bart for your wedding! Bart did an amazing job on my special day. His consultation was super helpful, as was his coordination with my planner, catering staff, and photographer. His announcements were clear, and had the occasional bit of tasteful humor. I also purchased uplights and a photobooth, both of which were fantastic. The uplights can really tie the room together. He can even match your color scheme! The photobooth had a bunch of funny props. My friends and family really enjoyed it. Thank you for helping to make our day perfect, Bart!

Bart was amazing! We decided to hire a DJ last minute and Bart was very professional, easy to work with, responsive, played all our requests, and was an amazing MC. We couldn't be happier with Bart! He was easy to communicate with, professional, well priced, and provided a great experience for our us and our guests! Throughout the planning process he was quick to respond and helped develop our timeline. He also provided song and experience suggestions for the reception. Bart was an amazing DJ/MC he really spent the time to make sure you felt comfortable with how YOUR night will go. We met in person a few months prior to the wedding, and made a timeline for the night with important songs ( special dances, cocktail hour, dinner, ceremony, etc) and once more the week before the wedding to go over everything once more. He was also very prompt at responding to emails. We gave him over 200 songs to play with, and told him if you he had a song he thought would work go for it. People did not stop dancing until they venue closed. My one request from him was to play Persian music and he was able to mix Persian music with hip hop and people loved it( he had never listened to Persian music before). His equipment is also top notch sound was magnificent. Oh and his wife runs their Photo Booth and she was awesome, she scrapbooks a memory book for you that night and has all the guests who take photos sign it. We recommend Bart and his wife to everyone!

We met with Bart in September 2018 to talk over the details of our wedding. We hadn't planned out too much of anything at that point and he set us up with a ceremony/reception day planner. He was awesome at the initial meeting and made us feel at ease. He was quick to respond to any questions that came up before the event. The day of the event Bart rolled with the punches, from the schedule being messed up due to the food needing to come out sooner to my dad adding a dance in on the spot for my brothers and I. There aren't many dancers in our families, but everyone on the floor enjoyed themselves. Thank you so much Bart!!

I highly recommend moments to memories and DJ Rob! Rob spoke with us twice before the wedding and helped us out a lot with planning our reception, drawing on his experience working other weddings! During the reception, Rob MC’ed the event very well, helping us stay on time while we talked to our guests. Once the party began, Rob did a great job with the music, reading the crowd and working in our requests. The dance floor was full of both younger and older guests until the reception ended. My wedding was the best night of my life and Rob played a large role in making in as great as it was!

Bart was amazing!!!! We had him for our wedding this November in Tahoe and he was SO fun! I did not hire a wedding planner so he helped me craft the timeline for the wedding and reception to keep us on track. He also helped me put together was music to play at different times. He helped me totally customize the music for the wedding and reception. His wife was also amazing - we were running late for our entrance to the reception because we couldn’t find the bussle for my dress but she came to the rescue! Her photo booth was also a huge hit. Everything about how Bart executed our day was absolutely perfect! We both felt so fortunate to have had him MC/DJ our wedding. Robert did a great job! He arrived on time, was very good about communicating from the first phone call to the end of the wedding. He kept me updated throughout the wedding, without being distracting. He was easy to work with as far as music went, giving me complete freedom of my choice of music and filled in the rest with similar and popular songs. I would recommend this DJ company!

What can we say about moments to memories? Well, Bart MADE our wedding day. The day flowed perfectly. He arrived hours before to make sure all his equipment was set up and ready to go. My hair and makeup took longer than expected so we had to keep pushing back the ceremony start time, Bart handled it beautiful! We also had some delays with dinner not being ready and beacause of Bart our guest didn’t even notice the delay. When it came time to dance, we had the time of our lives! Bart was absolutely incredible! I cannot say enough about this man and how he handles his business. From the first meeting (We only had 3!) he knew what he was talking about and helped me form the plan for wedding day. He helped me come up with our timeline for our wedding, which by the way you will need for your photographer, and you can tell he's great at what at he does. Helped me outline the wedding, was phenomenal day of with talking to members of bridal shower and family to get them ready for toasts, father-daughter dance, walk in music, I tell ya! This guy thought of stuff I did not and that's great when you're planning a wedding to have vendors fill in the blanks or bring ideas that make your day more special. Robert was amazing! As our DJ/Master of Ceremonies he kept everything moving at a great pace. Very flexible, he was able to do everything we needed. Our initial meeting was great as we shared our wants and needs and he provided extra insight into things we were unsure about by citing past events he worked and letting us know what he saw work and what didn't. Could not have asked for a better DJ!

Wow. I cannot say enough good things about Bart. He was very professional, while also being warm, friendly and so, so easy to work with from the beginning. He welcomed any ideas we had and was quick to answer any questions or concerns that cropped up along the way. You can plan and schedule things down to a tee, but odds are, not everything will go according to plan and when timing changed throughout the night, Bart was quick to adapt and kept the party going, without giving us any stress. All of our guests could not stop talking about how truly wonderful he was and he was able to keep everyone on the dance floor until the very end (including me in my giant dress and heels!). Out of all of our vendors, he was the only one that we had not a single concern with during the entire process. Snatch this one up before he books up! He will not disappoint you, I promise!

I just had the absolute best experience with their services. It was the easiest part of the wedding because they were so professional that I didn't need to even think or worry about anything. They came in, set up the photo booth, and manned it the entire time to help guests with their props and taking pictures. In addition, they took one copy of each picture and created the most precious scrapbook where they had all of our guests sign their own silly photos. It is the most special reminder I have of the wonderful, wild night we had together. I would absolutely recommend them if you want to have an amazing time and have a keepsake to remember the fun you had on your magical night!

Bart earns top marks in all categories! He was professional, timely with email responses, easy to work with, and very accommodating. He was familiar with our venue and made it so easy to create the ambiance and energy we were looking for on our special day. He was willing to set up multiple DJ stations (since we had cocktails and dinner outside but dancing inside), and the sound was great in all areas.

Bart was absolutely wonderful as our DJ and MC. He previously DJed and MCed a wedding I attended for one of my very good friends and I was super impressed and wanted him at my wedding when the day came around. Unfortunately my venue was disinclined to allow outside DJs onto their property due to some noise ordinance rules they had. I had Bart call the venue operator and after speaking with him on the phone Mike was impressed with his professionalism and excited to add him as a vendor. Additionally, my wedding coordinator had nothing but great things to say about how polite, flexible, and accommodating he was. Additionally on my end Bart made himself 100% available to discuss our needs and wants for the wedding and was very open to the idea of playing unique Romanian songs outside the normal DJ realm for weddings. All in all my day went smoothly and perfectly with no hiccups in sound, equipment, or scheduling and I know Bart was a large part of that success. I HIGHLY recommend you choose his services!

Bart was the DJ/MC for our April 29 wedding. We discovered Bart at our cousin's wedding - and immediately signed him for our own! Bart is so professional and knows how to keep a wedding flowing. Our first "meeting" was via Skype and he walked us through our entire wedding and all the different music parts - from when the guests arrive, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. He was super responsive and did an excellent job of following up with us! He made the process so easy and it was all perfect. Bart is amazing!! He was absolutely by far one of our favorite vendors to work with for our wedding. From the beginning, he was very professional and open to our ideas. For things we weren't as sure about, he helped guide us through the entire process. We had some very specific ideas on songs and pretty much built up our own playlist for different parts of wedding day, and Bart worked with what we had an added even more on top of it! He's a fantastic DJ and is really great at understanding your music style and working with it. His prices are also extremely reasonable as well. I am so happy I picked Bart to DJ our wedding! He was so easy to work with and was very experienced. I didn't have a wedding planner that stayed all day with us so Bart did a great job keeping the evening flowing for us after the planner left. His emcee skills were non invasive and professional. He said just what he needed to and kept the wedding about us, not him. As for music, he truly played exactly what we had requested and and was able to add obscure music requested such as a Greek song, I needed. He provided us with great equipment including a great lapel microphone for the officiant to wear during our ceremony and speakers in multiple areas for cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. From the moment we booked Bart we felt at ease! He provided us with all the information we needed and any advice when asked! My husband and I wanted certain timings on songs and he was awesome! He played just what vibe we wanted for cocktail hour and dancing! We also hired his company for our photo booth which his wife hosted and I am soooo happy we decided to do that!!! It was so well set up and so professional! She had a scrap book with all of the pictures in it with the perfect touches on. Every page and even some personal details of us! It was ready to go at the end of the night for us and we have loved looking through all the pictures and laughing on our mini moon!!! They also come digitally! We are so lucky that Bart was able to provide DJ services for our wedding in Lake Tahoe! Bart was helpful and responsive when we needed him and handles his business as a true professional; he even showed to DJ our reception in a Tux! His equipment was top notch so the music was banging while speeches were crisp, clear and without any annoying feedback. We also appreciated the giant song list he provided to us to create the perfect wedding setlist. On the day of the reception I quickly shot Bart a few texts about last minute changes to the day and he handled them no problem, he was even perfect on the fly as we made changes as the night went on. We picked some traditional reception ideas and left others behind but Bart showed respect by getting on board with every choice we made and working it in seamlessly. It can be tricky finding a DJ who also is an effective MC, but he kept the party moving without being obtrusive or annoying. By the time we got to "dance time" Bart weaved together the list of our songs into a cohesive set that kept our party moving through the night. Guests are still talking about how great Bart was, we would recommend him in a heartbeat. Thank you Bart!

Bart is AMAZING! He listened to what we wanted, including a fairly detailed list of songs my now husband wanted played, and added in his own pics that "went" with our selections. We had people up and dancing (and there was a lot of older folks at our wedding!) all night. He was friendly, professional, on time, and blended into the background JUST ENOUGH. Perfect. Would use again. Great value for what we got, absolutely.

These guys were great. Flexible. Professional & organized. Responsive to every request and question I had weeks prior to the wedding and a huge help in making sure things stayed on track the day of. Honestly couldn't have asked for more. Rob wasn't only awesome to work with at each step leading up to the big day but he came through tremendously the day of in helping us stay on schedule to ensure my wife and I were able to check ever box we set out to from the grand march & first dance to the cake cutting & sparkler exit. It's a bit of a toss up when it comes to selecting the DJ but take it from me first hand, these are the DJs you'll want in your corner running the show on the big day!

When finding a DJ, understand that they will run the show, and set the mood for your entire reception. When we first spoke to Bart, he knew every single question to ask regarding the timeline for our day. He was so accommodating with our busy military schedules that he skyped and contacted us on numerous occasions to ensure that he had every detail covered. He even altered the reception timeline for us the night before the wedding. It was so very clear how professional and talented he was, before he even DJ'd our wedding. After the ceremony, pictures took longer than expected (we learned wedding photography always takes longer than anticipated). Bart remained flexible by continually pushing the timeline of events farther back, while the guests enjoyed some drinks and good music. He was able to entertain them until we returned from portraits. Then the party began! Other than providing him with wedding party introductions, traditional events we wanted to include at the reception, and minimal preference for the music (we only gave him some genres and a few specific songs), he produced the most spectacular playlist we've ever heard. He even accommodated our own family bagpipers and acapella group. There was never a dull moment from the second we walked into the reception until the very last song (which was perfectly chosen), as he was always prepared with the next song or mic introduction. He also came to us throughout the night to keep us updated on upcoming events, or to run any changes by us before announcing them. He really takes the time to get to know his couples and provide them with exceptional service. He was a wonderful DJ, and we could not have chosen a better guy for the job. We used Moments to Memories for our wedding last weekend in Livermore. We had the pleasure of working with Bart and we couldn't be happier with our experience. From the first initial call, I knew we made the right choice. Bart was responsive, knowledgable, laid back and really easy to talk to. On the day of the wedding, I felt so at ease when we met in person. He gave me some last minute opinions and I fully trusted him and gave him the power to do whatever he thought was right. He sure did...he kept the party going and even got stuck talking to my uncle for a while...he didn't even mind. Moments to Memories were a wonderful company to work with. I worked with both Bart and his brother Rob, who is the one who actually DJ'd our wedding, and made it go so smoothly. They talked to my husband and I along the way, and from the beginning made it clear that they would not be just a "day-of" DJ, but would put in as many hours as were necessary to make it perfect for us. My wife and I booked Bart for our wedding. I personally could not have been happier with the service. He is experienced, courteous, tech-savvy, and on-time absolutely all the time. He also doesn't do any of the things that give wedding DJs a bad name: he doesn't drink; he doesn't hit on the bridesmaids (or anyone); he doesn't steal focus. Instead, here's what he does do: He gets the songs RIGHT down to the specific version you want; He has all the top equipment and wireless everything; And he's collaborative, professional, fair and humble in all meetings and dealings. You could pay twice and much and not get a better DJ. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Bart was great! He timed the music perfectly for the ceremony and played fitting backgroumd music tailoring everything to our requests. He was very polite and respectful through all the toasts which cut way into our dance time, but came up to us with suggestions to smoothly and seemlesly get us back on track. He made the process very worry free and I could rely on him to move everything along with our timeline. He also wore a tux, which was great, and added another level of class to our already classy wedding! Other DJs we looked into were more expensive but Bart asked for a fair price and his services were worth every penny and more! Bart was wonderful to work with. He was recommended to us by our neighbors who were married a few years ago and had Bart DJ their wedding. Bart was very professional and he was easy to talk to. As soon as my husband and I started talking to him, we knew we wanted him as our DJ. We set up a Skype meeting (which was more convenient for my husband and I) to discuss some details for the day of the wedding. Bart had lots of great ideas/ suggestions to help us get the entertainment/ music we wanted for our day. He knows ALL types of music and can get you exactly what you want. We had him bring cordless (yes, cordless) uplighting. This made the room look amazing as we danced the night away with our guests. The sound quality of his equipment is excellent (no muffled tones or echoing). I don't remember the exact price we paid for his service and the cordless uplighting, however, I do remember it was very reasonable AND cheaper than other DJ companies. Bart kept the flow of the wedding going so their wasn't a dull moment. This was a huge help so my husband and I could enjoy the day and not have to worry about all the small details. Bart made sure we got to do everything we wanted to do AND in the order we wanted them done (grand entrance, father/daughter dance, cake cutting, etc.). My husband and I would highly recommend having Bart as your DJ for any type of event. He is amazing!

I would HIGHLY recommend Moments to Memories DJ for your wedding! Bart was incredible to work with, from the early planning stages all the way up to doing a fantastic job on our big day, and he went absolutely above and beyond every step of the way. He really puts a lot of thought and care into what he does! My husband and I planned our wedding on our own (without a professional planner or coordinator), so we were really overwhelmed and had a lot of questions about how to plan a wedding timeline and keep things moving smoothly. Bart made us feel relaxed and at ease at our first meeting because he has a LOT of experience with weddings, so he was easily able to help guide us and answer all of our questions. We could tell right away- this guy knows his stuff!! After our meeting, he sent a proposed timeline with "fill in the blanks" spots for the songs I wanted for the ceremony, first dance, cake cutting, etc... he really couldn't have made it any easier for me! And when you are a bride planning a wedding, that is a VERY GOOD thing! Working with him was awesomely straightforward and fun the whole time. On the big day, arrived very early exactly as he said he would, with plenty of time to set up a small sound system for our outdoor ceremony, and full DJ setup for the indoor reception. I picked out songs for certain parts of the ceremony (bridal party processional, bridal entrance, recessional, etc...) and Bart absolutely NAILED every cue! Everything was perfect! Bart was a fantastic MC throughout the reception, and of course, this guy knows how to make people DANCE!! His song selections for open dancing were spot on, and the dance floor was packed the whole night! We had a blast! Plus, he also provided some really nice colored up-lights in the reception room, which added a really nice touch. In short, Bart is the BEST! You'll be so happy to have him on your wedding vendor team. We are so grateful for everything he did to make our big day so awesome!!

DJ Bart was incredible. No other word would be sufficient! We booked him about 10 months out, and I'm glad we did because I couldn't image our wedding day without him. He was punctual, professional, open-minded, but he also knew exactly how/when to grab the attention of everyone in the room. Music was great, but that's easy for a DJ. What you're buying from Bart is the full package of DJ and "master of ceremonies". From quieting everyone down for our prayer, to bringing up folks for the money dance, to hushing the crowd for toasts and the bouquet/garter tosses. Bart kept everything moving without a hitch! Bart and Robert did an amazing job from start to finish. Polite, professional, reliable, fun, dressed well, great on the mic. We interviewed a lot of DJ's for our wedding, and some had weird looks and others tried to limit us to only 20 songs and then they would choose the rest of them. I'm a bit of a control freak when it comes to music and my wife and I are pretty picky, so we were really happy to hear Bart and Robert said they were open to playing exactly what we wanted, or picking the music for us or somewhere in between. We coordinated with Bart and Robert very easily prior to the wedding over email and Skype, they were extremely accommodating and always responded immediately. We had a complicated event, with the ceremony in the woods a couple 100 yards from the nearest power outlet and the rehearsal at a different venue. Robert showed up early with extensions cords and made it all work in the woods and then ran over to the restaurant and got it all set up over there. We made all these playlists and lists of play and do not play and he stuck to what we wanted exactly, it was amazing. He had total control over the event, talked just enough, no cheesy jokes, very professional. He dresses in a suit and looks legit too. As far as dancing, we went til 12.30 and everyone said it was the most fun they ever had. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND MOMENTS TO MEMORIES!
