wanted. Overall I loved shopping for my dress there. However, when it came to alterations it was the complete opposite experience. I recommend going else where for your alterations. My seamstress didn’t measure me so when I came back the second time my dress was no where close to zipping. Mind you I ordered my dress a size bigger so I wouldn’t run into any problems. The seamstress then continued to blame me and say I gained weight (it had only been two weeks between appointments). I know for a fact I didn’t gain weight because I lost weight within those two weeks. She continued to tell me not to worry and scheduled an appointment awfully close to the wedding date. I later called back and asked for the appointment to be changed because I didn’t feel comfortable waiting that long to find out if my dress fit. When I arrived for my third appointment the dress barely zipped but I was beyond uncomfortable and couldn’t even sit in it. The seamstress then proceeded to tell me not to call the salon to change my appointment again because she’d get in trouble. Once again she booked my fourth alteration appointment two days before my wedding day. Several days later I decided I didn’t feel comfortable working with her anymore and I wanted to take my dress somewhere else. I called to pick up my dress and found out my dress wasn’t at the shop. I was not told my dress would be taken else where. So 5 days before the wedding I was finally able to get it and take it somewhere else where I was told what a mess my dress was and basically ruined. The new place was able fix the dress as much as she could within the span of two days. Thankfully Mon Amie helped me get a refund from their seamstress but it didn’t make up for the awful experience I had.

I knew from picking up my dress that it would need quite a bit of work especially in the top/chest area. Knowing that, I decided to stay in house as opposed to finding somewhere that likely would have been WAY cheaper. I was assigned to Gloria who turned into my guardian angel in this store. First day of alterations Gloria made me a custom bow for the back of my dress and pinned the chest to pull it in. Based on the work needed to be done I was charged $800+ for the alterations. Six weeks later we came back to pick up the dress and the chest was still INCHES too big. Like could fit my hand into the dress between where the dress stopped and my body began. When I brought this up to Gloria she said she would have to get her manager because what I was asking is a larger project. Instead of greeting the problem with compassion, the manager instead came in and said what I was asking couldn't be done. The only option was to pad the chest area to fill the space. When I said I didn't want that because I wanted to look like myself in my dress, she told me that most women would want the extra help in that area. We had a full 15 minute conversation going back and forth on why my body was the problem and that what I was asking just couldn't be done. When we asked why I was sold a dress that couldn't be properly fitted to my body, their story somewhat started to change, but the manager continued to be rude and lacked any sort of empathy as I started to cry in my gown just 3 weeks before my wedding. The manager finally conceded that they could in fact do the alterations but because it was SO MUCH work, they would need to charge more to build a custom top. She stormed off and left me in the hands of my fairy god mother. I sat silently crying as Gloria pinned me once again. I knew that what needed to be done was a lot of work, and at that point she only had 10 days to get it done. Somehow she pulled off the miracle I needed and I was able to pick up my dress 7 days before walking down the aisle. It was perfect thanks to only Gloria!! The dress fit perfect, but wasn't steamed. When I asked Gloria mentioned they no longer provided this service (though in the past they had). Something I think should be provided given the elite cost of their gowns and alterations. All in all, I would go back there, but I would only ever trust my gown with Gloria

. She even pulled similar styles for me so that I had peace of mind that I was making the best decision. She was an absolute sweetheart to me, my mom and my MIL. She brought us champagne and just made the whole experience so enjoyable and easy.

utiful. My wedding dress was a dream come true. The ordering process and the fittings were completed with ease. The dress arrived early despite there being a pandemic. Thankfully, I did not need any alterations, but Mon Amie does provide alteration services.

I thought I wanted a specific style of dress, but after consulting with Tina about my body type and style, she confirmed that I should consider a more flattering style. Upon trying on dresses she chose for me, I found “the one” but I wasn’t ready to make a commitment. Tina was so graceful in encouraging me to think about it and keep her updated on my decision. I went to another salon and tried on more gowns, but I never stopped thinking about the gown from Mon Amie. Tina kept in touch with me throughout the process and I went back to Mon Amie few weeks later to purchase “the one.” I couldn’t be happier! The dress makes me feel fun, sassy, regal, and (most importantly) like my most beautiful self. ❤️ Thank you so much, Tina!

r, she was beyond wonderful. Tina took the time to get to know me personally and understand the vision I had for our wedding day and my dress. She was helpful, fun, and very knowledgable. She could tell pretty quickly that I had already found my dress and was completely understanding. She guided me through additional dresses to help confirm my feelings and could not have been sweeter. Spending my appointment with her was like being with family. Such a great experience, I recommend that if you are going to visit Mon Amie for your wedding dress needs, that you book with Tina.

Everyone there is so warm, friendly, knowledgable, and lovely. It's such a great atmosphere. I especially loved our seamstress Jenny - she's a genius. Ultimately, I did end up in the silhouette I envisioned (hey, a girl knows what she wants!) but it was nice to be absolutely sure and have the best guidance. They have the biggest selection and also wide variety of styles and price ranges that fit any budget, so you are bound to find something there. I loved my consultant and all, but OMG can I please just give a major shout out to Gloria in alterations!???! She is truly a gem and a genius in her work. I loved my dress when I initially tried it on but I just felt something was missing...and Gloria was able to make minor tweaks so that I fell in love with it all over again, and even more so from when I initially got the dress. I truly had the dress of my dreams and it could not have been done without the fabulous team at Mon Amie Bridal salon. thank you all so much!!!

The dresses are incredible, but the experience provided by Tina truly made my decision easy. We had a quick turn around (went in the 1st week of December and my wedding was on 6/15). While I was thinking of all the things that could go wrong, Tina calmed my nerves and promised everything would be ok. And it was! Thank you Tina and the alterations team! We created the wedding dress of my dreams and I could not be happier!

Had a brief scare with the veil coming in last minute, but the staff ensured that the veil came in on time and was steamed before the wedding.

And they even price matched my dress for me because it was my first visit and my husband and I were paying for our own wedding. The seamstress got my dress ready for me ahead of schedule because I had to move out of state. When I tried the dress on just a month before my wedding, I saw that the hem wasn’t quite right and panicked. My parents drove the dress back down in a hurry and the seamstress fixed it and had it perfect in no time. I am so grateful that I didn’t have to stress over this. This salon is amazing. idea of exactly what I wanted. Every dress I walked out in, I thought to myself “I can totally envision getting married in this but how come I have not had the moment that every girl talks about? The ‘Ahh Haa’ moment” and that was because I did not yet find the perfect dress. Tina was such a pleasure to work with at the bridal salon Mona Mie! My family had flown in from Dallas, Texas and San Francisco, California. We had to make a 5.5 hour journey by car from Santa Barbara and back but it was so beyond worth it! I told Tina exactly what type of dress I was looking for. I mentioned I wanted long sleeve, tight fitted in the waist, and a beautiful long extravagant train with embroidered details/lace. I am open to ideas of the opening and dropping of the back, elevating neck line, off the shoulder, completely covered of the chest, sheer but not too sheer (in only classy areas), but am positive about the long sleeves with details along the dress. She literally made my vision come to reality and found me the perfect dress! Now if that is not the power of manifesting your destiny with the help of a professional stylist who knows exactly what she is doing, then I don’t know what is. Tina was so wonderful, helpful, knowledgable, detail-orientated, and listened to everything I had to say. Because I had e-mailed the company in advance, they got a sense of who I was and what style of dress I was looking for so they paired me up with Tina. I am so happy they did because if it wasn’t for her, I may not have walked out the door with a dress in hand that day. Oh and did I mention that the dress fit me like a glove, I may not need to make any alterations except to add a bustle to the train (excuse my wedding dress terminology as I am still learning). What an AMAZING day I will never forget and I was so happy Tina was a part of my experience at Mona Mie Bridal Salon! Thank you Tina!
