Working with Andrew & Mona Amie was a gift from the gods! Before the wedding, Andrew was in touch with us (proactively!) about all our wedding needs. Honestly for anyone else who c...
ares about music deeply, I can't imagine a better collaborator. We handed over 5 different playlists (happy hour, party, dance, salsa, and nu metal [for the groom and his high school friends]) and Andrew took those templates and made them work SEAMLESSLY throughout the evening. The bride's only direction for the evening was "make the vibes cool" and they certainly were.
Andrew also took the time to work with the venue to get set up in the outdoor courtyard and then switch over to inside once the outside curfew hit and had us and our friends and family dancing the rest of the night away. BIBLICAL.
Lila and Jesse from Mon Amie Events were absolutely incredible DJs and made every single audio element of our wedding run smooth like butter. From making sure my niece sounded fabu...
lous playing and singing us down the aisle, to finding the perfect balance of music during cocktail hour and dinner, to keeping us on the dance floor wondering where the time went when the night finally ended. they nailed every part of it.
They took our playlist, completely understood the vibe we were going for, and then seamlessly threw in songs on the fly that fit the energy of the room perfectly. The dance floor was SO much fun, and it felt like they were right there with us, reading the crowd all night without ever losing what felt like us.
We couldn’t have asked for a better soundtrack to our wedding or better people behind it. Thank you, Lila and Jesse, for making the whole night sound incredible and for giving us so many memories tied to the music. We will always have “Teenage Dirtbag” 😉
I'm so so glad we booked with Olivia for our wedding afterparty! From our first meeting she helped us lay out the flow of the party starting with a fun entrance to our last song. S...
he understood the vibe of our wedding from some playlists I shared with her, and really delivered. From some 70s disco, to 90s, to Bad Bunny, and lots in between. We loved it all, and highly recommend Olivia!!

From the initial get-to-know-you call to the deep dive logistical sessions that came later, Andrew was a dream to work with throughout our wedding planning process. Day-of, he arrived early to familiarize himself with the venue; provided flawless music for the welcome, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception; and overall brought the positive vibes and energy you need on your wedding day. We are forever grateful and could not recommend him and Mon Amie enough.

Communication was super easy and clear, our ideas for the wedding gelled really well and they worked seamlessly with our planner and the rest of our vendors.

All in all, we couldn’t think of anyone better to DJ our wedding.

d. She blended our short playlist of must-play songs with music choices that matched our vibe perfectly. And it was evident from the sweaty guests at the end of the night how much fun everyone had on the dance floor.

raved about Olivia's variety of genres, volume control, emceeing, and overall fun atmosphere. She was very responsive and easy to work with; we shared a spreadsheet with her categorizing our music cues for important moments and she nailed each one. Olivia even was able to mix in covers and remixes for us that are not on typical streaming services. We're so glad we chose her to be a special part of our wedding!

ly answered our many questions. We felt very comfortable sharing all of the tiny things that were important to us music-wise, and to help the whole flow of the event. Andrew was a friendly and calm presence at the wedding, while keeping the dance floor very alive, playing great tunes, and being adaptable to delays - with our family's very long speeches. He also worked well transitioning the night to our live band, and was so helpful from the set up, to the very end. We're so glad we got to work with Andrew / Mon Amie, and highly recommend them!!

be thrive. She walked us through the entire process and made the music one department that we never had to worry about. On the day, she was incredibly professional, rolling with time-changes, adjustments, and a full-fledged musical number like an absolute pro. When you're planning your perfect day, you want to make sure it's stocked not only with knowledgeable professionals but also people who are kind, generous, and more than happy to celebrate along with you. Amanda, we are so happy to say, was somehow all of those things and more.
10/10, would hire as DJ again.

work with. We loved that she understood us and our music taste (which spanned everything from '70s disco to '80s new wave to '00s indie rock), but also knew how to apply that to a wedding party setting. She ultimately came up with a playlist that was PERFECT--you know it's a party when the bartenders are dancing from behind the bar.
She was also great to playing emcee that night--from toasts to giving after-party instructions, she made it easy for us and our guests to have fun.
It wouldn't have been a party without Mona, and we're so glad we were able to book her!
Jason Vieira from Mona's team played our wedding and it was a BLAST. He 100% understood the vibe and had the dance floor packed all night!!!

Our guests never left the dance floor and everyone commented that Mona was the best DJ they had ever heard (not just at a wedding but anywhere). The music was spot on, incorporating all of our requests and really getting the vibe right.
We could not recommend Mona more!!
