Mon Amie events and our DJ for our wedding, Jason, were incredible to work with. So fun, had such great ideas and easy to coordinate with, and I heard nothing but amazing things about the music and the fun! Our dance floor was full the whole time. Highly recommend!

Olivia’s set was terrific! We love her show on WFMU and knew we were in excellent hands with her sensibility. We and our guests loved the vibe she created. Excellent professionalism and communication from Olivia and the Mon Amie team —very easy and enjoyable to work with!

Mona was amazing, down to earth, and just plain fun - I loved working with her! Music is a huge part of my life and I needed that portion of our day to be perfect - she did not let me down. She even had me grooving during cocktail hour and cake cutting. I initially was rescheduled with another dj 3 times before i found Mon Amie, and so glad I did!!

Amanda was incredible every step of the way: from our first initial meeting she made sure that she understood the vibe for our wedding and knew exactly the playlist to make that vibe thrive. She walked us through the entire process and made the music one department that we never had to worry about. On the day, she was incredibly professional, rolling with time-changes, adjustments, and a full-fledged musical number like an absolute pro. When you're planning your perfect day, you want to make sure it's stocked not only with knowledgeable professionals but also people who are kind, generous, and more than happy to celebrate along with you. Amanda, we are so happy to say, was somehow all of those things and more. 10/10, would hire as DJ again.

We only had Mona at our wedding for 2.5 hours but absolutely crushed it in that short time. We gave Mona a playlist to capture our general vibe, took it, and ran with it. Mona was able to read the room perfectly and keep the dance floor filled.

With two music lovers and a guest list that included a ton of music industry the expectations were very high for our music selections. Mona more than delivered taking our selections, adding in the perfect dance drops exactly when needed and keeping the party going flawlessly all night long. Even before the party Mona gave us perfect vibes, helping with song selection for our big moments, giving much needed advice and helping us make sure that the soundtrack would feel quintessentially us. Could not recommend working with Mona and Mon Ami Events highly enough!

Mona absolutely killed it at our intimate wedding at the Wythe Hotel!! She was lovely to work with and I felt really confident that we were in good hands before the wedding. She asked really detailed questions in advance to understand the vibe and then she totally nailed it on the day of. She had everyone dancing and was able to make everyone feel included. We absolutely loved working with her and would recommend her to anyone!

Jason (Babes the DJ) was an absolutely amazing DJ. He took our song suggestions and put together a perfect playlist that really the captured the vibe we were trying to create. The dance floor felt more like a club than a wine bar, and everyone had an amazing time. He was also the sweetest person, made us feel very relaxed, and overall made the experience dealing with him extremely seamless from song selection to payment. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a fun

We booked Andrew for our wedding and could not have been happier with his services! He knocked it out of the park! From the moment we reached out he was very responsive, friendly, and easy to work with. We had the pleasure of meeting him in person prior to our wedding day and he provided very helpful recommendations. On the day of our wedding we were hit with a tropical storm and he handled all of the pivots perfectly. He provided great energy, was able to showcase our personalities through the playlists, and got all of our guests on the dance floor. Would highly recommend!!

Mona was an absolute incredible DJ. Once the dancing got started, the dance floor was full the entire night. Even my Dad couldn't sit down. And that was thanks to Mona's excellent dance floor anthropology skills, choice tunes, and infectious energy. Multiple people told us it was so great to see her dancing the entire time and enjoying the music with us. One of our absolute favorite moments of the night was when Gasolina came on and everyone just lost it. Mona was so fun and encouraging to work with, and she brought the vibe!

Mona was incredibly easy to work with and every time we spoke and when we saw her on our wedding day she exuded positivity and happiness. She completely ran with the vibe we wanted and absolutely nailed it. She was a joy to know she was in our corner MCing.

Mona was amazing, calm and so, so good at reading the room. People danced so hard. She also helped us plan out an evening that felt authentic and got us out of doing a first dance without it feeling awkward at all. Would highly recommend!

DJ Mona was a fantastic DJ for our June 2023 wedding! She kept everybody dancing for the whole reception and afterparty, created impeccable vibes, was always dancing and was incredibly kind, flexible and focused on having our wishes met. She is a perfect wedding DJ and we recommend her to anybody! We did not work with other DJs from Mon Amie but based on Mona alone, I imagine every DJ in the company is fantastic!!

This past October my partner and I worked with MonAmie Events, and Mona, with Jason AKA Babes as our DJ, for our wedding at Jack’s Barn in Oxford, NJ, and had SO MUCH FUN! The communication and planning leading up to our wedding day was easy and went off without a hitch. Day of we had absolutely no issues and Babes was so amazing as our emcee and DJ for the evening! We also had 3 drag queen performers as part of our reception and they collaborated with ease and helped to create such a fun and supportive environment. Big thanks to their assistant, as well! We’d recommend them for parties and events in a downbeat!

Mona was the perfect DJ for my wedding reception. I have strong feelings and opinions about music, but I knew I'd be in perfect hands thanks to Mona's experience and taste. She kept the crowd lively, and the atmosphere fun. She was really receptive to cues and requests that came up throughout the night, and I really appreciated her good attitude about it. Mona is simply the best in the business! Great taste in music, great understanding of what makes a good party, great attitude. From the moment we booked Mona, she was so easy to work with. We loved that she understood us and our music taste (which spanned everything from '70s disco to '80s new wave to '00s indie rock), but also knew how to apply that to a wedding party setting. She ultimately came up with a playlist that was PERFECT--you know it's a party when the bartenders are dancing from behind the bar. She was also great to playing emcee that night--from toasts to giving after-party instructions, she made it easy for us and our guests to have fun. It wouldn't have been a party without Mona, and we're so glad we were able to book her!

Mona was the most AMAZING DJ for our wedding!! Mona and her assistant could not have been any more talented! They read the crowd so well and knew exactly what to play at every moment. The dance floor was NEVER less than half full! They really made our wedding feel so personalized and accommodated all our requests. Mona was the DJ for our wedding this past Sunday and she was absolutely amazing. From our initial meeting months before the wedding when we had vague ideas of what we wanted but not many specifics right through to the last dance, Mona made our day extra special. She was great fun to work with and super responsive planning everything. During the day she was beyond perfect, setting up mics, announcing speeches, finding a reading that someone had forgotten to bring and even helped a sick relative get home at the end of the night! Our guests never left the dance floor and everyone commented that Mona was the best DJ they had ever heard (not just at a wedding but anywhere). The music was spot on, incorporating all of our requests and really getting the vibe right. We could not recommend Mona more!!
